Sorry for leaving this one for so long, have had some real life issues that has held me up. Should have this one back up and running in the next few weeks.
Coming from a Mother's Day brekkie we weren't really dressed for a good hunt so will come back another day.
The turmoils wanted to shop. I wanted to clean up the urangan end of Hervey Bay. So a compromise was made. They are at the shopping centre, I am cleaning up my map.
Nice hide. Log book was dripping wet so didn't sign it. Need for maintenance ASAP. Tftc.
My final find for 2022!! It was a quick and easy find today, however the container was full of water and everything inside was saturated. I was not able to write my name in the notebook, so I took photos of the container, contents and location as proof of finding. TFTC
Lovely walk. I'm enjoying the caching opportunities in Hervey Bay and so many work walking distance to the Mantra.
Last find for my outing this morning around the harbour, after making sure the muggles sitting in their lawn chairs nearby were not looking, I moved in for the search, which it wasn't too hard. Log is saturated though, but I made my mark. Left two TBs to continue their journeys. Thanks for the cache Sakuth!
TFTC This took us to a part of Hervey Bay we hadn't been before. Notebook inside is soggy. Unfortunately we didn't have any replacement with us. My pen just managed to leave our mark.
A few options to be found around GZ. Mr Herbz got a phone call he had to take so the finding honours went to Mrs Herbz on this one. A nice secluded spot. TFTC
Too many muggles to have a good dig. It's most likely become one with nature we will return with spades next time
Jorpep22….we have been hot on your heals all day and BOOM! FOUND IT!
No digging required.

On my way from Canberra to North Queensland with a few detours for shires. TFTC.
Nice quick find. Just one walker and k9 today. Log is wet.

My goodness It’s blustery today! I got very well exfoliated (read sandblasted) on the way to GZ. Fortunately the find was quick. The log book is sodden, but I managed to make a mark. TFTC
GSAK deleted my very long log. Apologies for the generic log. Loved the walk along the beach
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that i can claim the finds or not as the case may be. TFTC.
29/6/21 Staying in Harvey Bay catching up with my Parents who have travelled here for a visit. I am on holidays from Mackay. Beautiful sunny weather today. TFTC SL
found with tamagotcha on a beautiful afternoon. Phone dying after a caching afternoon so home time

Yay tftc number 400 for me. On holidays from gold coast.
Wow lucky tide was low. Great stroll across the shells. Voila found it.

This one is only a few min from our house so we were amped to check it out! Thanks for the find in such a gorgeous area ️ - The Johnson’s
We've stopped off in Hervey Bay, and plan to base ourselves here for a few weeks. We're glad to get this cache off our DNF list, our GPS led us straight to the spot. Thanks also for not placing a mint tin or a 200ml Sistema here. It made us feel really good to find this "special" cache.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Pirate Gold Coin
**Dropped Trackable:** "Grand Canyon, AZ- The Watchtower Coaster".
Thank you for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

We are couple of days in Hervey Bay and had a look around the Boat Harbour today. Refreshing memories and caching.
We came across the Triathlon today. Who wants to cycle 200 kms at 34 degrees? Not me!
Found the cache and signed the log.

Thank you for a great cache. Our nephew love all the treasures he had to choose from.
Came back to avenge a dnf. This time we found even with a fisherman nearby and not sure how it was missed but these things happen.
Thanks Sakuth for the cache.
Found at 5:25 pm on 22/12/20.

Fishermen close by so didn't want to hang around too long. Nothing really stood out didn't want to scratch around and look too suspicious
At the end of the day it was lovely to come for a walk along the beach here. There was nobody else around so we had the place to ourselves and it was certainly peaceful. After some searching we found what we were seeking. We have added our name to the logbook and then we stopped to just admire the incredible beauty of this Bay and the land in the distance.
Thanks Sakuth

TFTC Quick fund whilst walking the dogs on holidays. Great spot. The sunset was amazing
Hervey Bay Day 4
Final day & the worst weather we have had.
Only a couple of caches planned today & they are close to the caravan park.
We had a DNF last time we were here, luckily for us today we were able to find it. Good co-ords but lots of natural cammo has blown onto it.
Thanks for placing this amazing series Sakuth

Wow this one took quite a search! We really felt like pirates searching for where we'd left our treasure eons ago - had so many clues but it was still very difficult.
We headed off on the nice little beach walk after visiting the wharf for 2nd breakfast & marina for a few more caches. Often when there have been this many DNFs recently, I would have given this one a miss, but since the CO had confirmed its continuing existence recently, I thought it was worth a search.
We had trouble with zeroing in on GZ at first as the compass kept changing its mind - reminiscent of Jack Sparrow's perhaps. After a few excursions as far as the mangroves without any luck and searching every tree within a stone's throw, we kept returning to one particular spot. But it wasn't until we had searched this area several times already and then sought the assistance of a beach cache detector, that we struck the treasure!
Perhaps as it has been so long since found, it has started to become one with its environment. We gained a good chunk of unloved points towards a challenge for this one, as it was last found 10 months ago.
Took whale (fitting for the area) & metal warrior, left friendship band & blue parachute man.

Caching with Aussiemates. Our last attempt for the day. It was getting dark. We had a look but on the back of 2 previous DNF didn't spend too long.
Muggle free early in the morning so it was a quick find by the GeoWife. TN/LN/SL

Found with family. Was not an easy find and spent a long time searching. Was very happy to find in the end.
Even after a long search we weren‘t able to turn that into a smiley. No luck for us this time.

Great view at low tide with a nice stroll along the beach. Perfect spot to release Tina the Turtle TB. Hope she meets some of the whales on her way out of Hervey Bay. TFTC
TFTC. We were in Hervey Bay for an afternoon whale watching cruise. We made sure we were really early to find some caches and especially to change a couple of Blue faces to yellow smilies. After the cruise there was still a bit of daylight left so we decided to attempt a couple more. With light quickly failing we resorted to the torch on the iPhone. WE had to actratch about a bit but cache came to hand rather quickly. Signed log and then started the drive back to our house sit in Bundaberg.
Nice place for a cache provided it doesn't become a victim of rising sea levels. We tried to take a short cut but there was no path. Many thanks Sakuth for placing a cache here for our enjoyment.

TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. Nice location.
Took a little while for the four of us to find. But as I walked away I spotted something out of the corner of my eye and there it was.
Lovely spot for a cache.

Well camouflaged, and after a few circles around the suspected trees, I started thinking I must be getting rusty at this! Alas persistence paid of and turned this to a smiley! TFTC
Gave this a thorough look, but considering we are ‘seasoned’ catchers and we couldn’t locate a medium sized easy to find cache it maybe worthwhile the CO checking if it’s in fact still there.
The other off putting factor being a tent located sneakily, nearby, under the trees suggested either campers or homeless occupants who could have removed the container to deter could be intruders.

I remember running in through the mangroves as a kid and enjoying the view. A beautiful spot to put a geocache, also found my first trackable. TFTC
Today we went out adventuring letting the eldest daughter learn to drive and decided to grab this cache before heading home. We had previously visited and the cache was missing, so after seeing it was active again and also had a trackable inside, we figured it was the perfect spot to go.
Cache was quickly in hand and in good condition with plenty of swag. We picked up the trackable and left a new one of our own.

Lovely walk along the beach to GZ. Nice quick find. Said hi to Dudley the TB but decided to leave him be. He’s already been to Brisbane.
Was found quite easy for the kids and while we were at it we had a little swim in the water
Found it at 10.45am on 17 January 2019 find number 677 for this pirate lady yoohoo
Caching with Moneydork and El Sueño. Glad this one was recently restored. Thanks for the fun, Sakuth
