Cache location not the best as the king tides get it and logbook replaced too many times as getting dank and quite disgusting. Have plans for a replacement cache not too far away.. thanks..!!

Found with Mtrax on our mini holiday in Tassie! Now in Launceston - before heading back to Hobart tomorrow. A nice cache here, but the log is soaked and needs to be replaced!. - thanks DP .
The log book was wet. It was also a bit hard to open. Beautiful veiw at sunset though.
Haha, we did get our feet wet when a boat cruised past and made generous wake!
On our tour around Tassie we made here a quick stop.
After a while looking we can find the cache. A good hint.
Thank you and greetings from Germany send Moorhelmi

With Tillie. TFTC. Found on our TASMANIA ALL OVER journey. Join us on Facebook page of that name.
Had a nice time at the park. Did the walk along the boardwalk and enjoyed the nature and nice weather.
Many thanks for the cache.

In Tassie with family doing a short trip around this lovely island. We saw some amazing scenery, wildlife and visited some beautiful places while touring around in our motorhome. I took the opportunity to stop and grab any caches when we could stop. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the trip. We had some fun and laughs along the way.
Stopped in the park for some lunch. Wandered over towards GZ. Took a bit of a search before the well hidden hide, was discovered.
Thanks dankpig for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

This little gem was truely one with nature as it was hidden in the shadow of plain sight
We are on vacation in Australia and of course we seek some caches.
Thanks for this one!
Greetings from the Dutch.

An afternoon out with family (old and new). Then a short walk took me right to this one, and I had the GPSr with me. Sometimes it all comes together.... Thanks for another one dankpig.
Out at the park with the kids. Found this nicely hidden cache on a short walk. TFTC
It was our last day in Launceston and we had a few hours to kill before we had to head off to the airport. We decided to go for a walk to Tailrace Park and grab a few caches on the way.
A quick find. TFTC.

Ended up getting wet because the tide was in but worth the water to find this one
Out on a cold frosty morning to get a few new caches which have gone down since our last visit to Tas, TFTC
After trying once before in the dark, we found it today in the light! Currently new works on the track, so some areas are out of bounds but cache is still reachable. Thanks
The huge slippery dip got us to stop at the park, nice to have a cache to find while the kids played happily. Tftc!
Second look for this one, do not know who we could not see this before. Can only assume as the tide was up high we did not notice it. Thanks Dankpig
May the way of the Hero lead to the Trif-... Cache! This was harder last time... surely...
Just wanted to mention that there's a small family of spiders living in the grooves of the cache, but it's easy enough to open it without disturbing or killing them.
Hi there dankpig.
We are camped at Old Mac's Farm, near Launceston (EIEIO ). We are planning to find some geocaches around the area in the next few days. We found your cache **"Melaleuca Boardwalk"** at 10:55:00 AM today. (This brings our total find count to 18507).
We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey & found 11 caches (& DNF'd 0).
Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Was a gorgeous afternoon for a short walk around the tailrace with the geodog. Tried a few places before resorting to the hint and soon had cache in hand. Thanks dankpig for the cache in a great location.
On a less than 24hr trip to the home state for a reunion (everyone was looking old except me of course lol). This park was near our luncheon venue so had to stop. A quick find between Muggles. Left a smiley daisy button. TFTC
This one also i found with badnuz05 on the 28/1/2017... hahha look at me go as i thought i hadn't found it.... funny woman i am.... lol.
A leave day and the sun was shining so caching we will go! Headed out to the Batman Bridge and then worked our way back towards Launceston. We didn't factor in school holidays so a couple of the caches we attempted will have to be left until another time but a fairly successful day overall. A quick find at GZ, noone about so an easy search. We have one very similar to this near Devonport. TFTC
Found after reading last log...as thought flood waters had washed it away. Very neat attachment...TFTEC Dankpig...cheers ST.
A great walk along the boardwalk and a nice easy find although the hint was a great help. I loved getting out here again. TFTC.
Having a look around the geocaching map realised I forgot to log this one from the event back in July.
It was a very cold day for a get together in a park but we're a tough bunch and a good time was had by all. A few of us wandered down to pick this one up while we were in the vicinity.

Hello dankpig thank you for the cache.
I had come up to Launceston to attend the “Th' lost loot o' Mary Hyde” event with EeePees and LilRaffa.
After the event had finished we ventured over to find your cache as the weather wasn't the best in fact ti was cold and with low cloud cover made it a very eerie location.
I started looking for the cache in the right location but a little too low before going to the other side as I was there EeePees found it and gave me a funny look as if to say "what are you doing".
As we put it back we saw another group of cachers from the event coming along the path, we walked off to the viewing platform and let them find the caches. While I was there I took some photos of the river before returning to the cache and the now large group of cachers.
As it was so cold and we all had already had a good chat during the event we didn't stay too long at GZ but did continue chatting as we went back to the car park.

Had 'sailed' from the deep south in treacherous and icy seas with Lil Rafa and AlbyDangles to attend the "Th' lost loot o' Mary Hyde" event at Trevallyn Tailrace Park, for some piratey fun and cacher catch-up.
Afterwards, we three pirates walked the planks to, and shared a find of a very nice hide, right here.
Thanks for the cache and the adventure dankpig, and very nice to meet you at the event.

'm another finder whilst attending today's nearby event. In the company of lizziejj, sscharlie and Berrybender. Another nice hide. SL TFTC dankpig
After attending the nearby event today, I headed off with EeePees and AlbyDangles to find this cache. I've never been to this park before, and did not know about this boardwalk. It was a little cold and overcast today, but we took the time to have a look at Launceston from a couple of the vantage points along the way. We got to GZ and once again, despite all three of us looking, it was EeePees who locked eyes on the cache first. The log was signed and cache returned ready for the next finders who we had spotted approaching. Thanks for the cache dankpig.
Another one found after then event, when we got to GZ there were lots of other cachers about so it was a team effort to find this one, the logbook was passed round as we all added our names to the log.

After the pirate event was all over and packed away we followed the crowd down to this cache. Many had found it but came for the walk anyway. I think it was colder at 10.45am that it was a few hours earlier. Great to meet you at the event today dankpig, and to add another cache find of your many hides.
After attending the nearby event, a group of cachers made their way to GZ. It was easily located and the log signed. It was nice to meet you at the event. TFTC
Went for a quick cycle loop to grab four caches around here which we hadn't looked for before, and learned that caching on a bike is amazing!! So nice to be so quick between finds. This was our first find and it was a nice and quick one. TFTC!
Nice walk to GZ - we had to wait for several dog walking muggles to pass by and then aus2 made a quick find. Our last dankpig cache before we head back to the south. We look forward to hopefully finding some more of your hides/caches on our next visit to the north. Thanks again.
Nice walk with the dog. I looked all about but couldn't initially see anything. Hidden very nicely! Thanks.
