We are venturing just a little NOR, making the most of the sunshine. The main purpose of the trip to make some frowns do a back flip now that they have been replaced. TFTC SunsetDuo

Out for a caching trip north of the river with Chwiliwr.

We had to park a bit away from ground zero but it was a pleasant walk back even if the roses had been severely pruned along the way.

Once at ground zero I did a search of the likely objects but missed seeing the cache. Chwiliwr came along behind me and made a quick find once he spied something different.

Log signed and cache returned as found.

Thanks SunsetDuo for the cache.

Out for a caching trip north of the river with the better half.

We had to park a bit away from ground zero but it was a pleasant walk back to ground zero even if the roses had been severely pruned in the park.

Once at ground zero I did a search of one end of the likely objects but didn't find the cache so went to the other end where the better half was looking and spied something different which turned out to be the cache. Turned out to be a fairly quick find in the end.

Log signed and cache returned as found.

Thanks SunsetDuo for the cache.

Cache finding mojo was working today. Wouldn't say an easy find. But was rewarded for using spotting skills. Thanks SunsetDuo for the hide.

04-Jun-18
Can someone please put a picture of the cache? Have come here many times but failed. HELP!

13-May-18
Noticed this cache had been replaced so while back in the area decided to try again. With the advantage finding some remains of the original cache during a previous search, we knew we were in the right area and soon had the cache. Needed a tool to remove the log from the container as it was jammed tight.

19-Apr-18
Looked for a while no luck

Out again with m4yb for some caching on this Boxing Day for 2017. No joy for us even with a great hint from a previous finder! Wonder if the Christmas decorations dislodged it?
Thanks for the smiley and the hide.

26-Dec-17
A lovely cool Boxing Day and what better thing to do than clear up the Western suburbs on a pleasant drive with megawat60.
No luck here however, a bit hard with the Xmas lights and worried we may be reported for trying to steal them!

Been a while since Cravo10 and I have ventured out to cache the burbs of Perth, with us both having a rare free day between moving houses, building walls, setting up retic and general stuff around each other's houses we decided to have a couple of hours to cache around the city of Stirling.

We cleaned up a good number of RossInPerth hides, which was a welcome change as we've had some difficulty with his over the years.

There was a great variety of caches around today. Some big, some small, some camoed, a few nano (love them)

Ended up with thirty odd finds and a number of great pics from where we started in Stirling and where we ended up in Claremont.

Ended on a little sour note with Me copping a 200 dollar find for speeding a little bit in the back roads of Claremont, much to the my annoyance as I wasn't speeding when I went past them going the other way, just forgot they were there.

Thanks for a great day out to the local COs.

One of these things is not like the others...! Brilliant spot. Great camo. This time of year the roses are pruned back. Not as pretty but definitely helpful.

09-Aug-17
Ok

07-Aug-17
Gee... this has got to be the trickiest cache I've found! I live not too far away so I've been trying this one periodically since it was published to no avail, but at last I spotted something out of place this afternoon as I was passing by. A very inventive cache, glad to finally have a smiley for it! TFTC.

25-Jul-17
Returned for a quick find this time around. Looks like the roses have been pruned in the past week or so making the hunt much less painful. TFTC

21-Jun-17
Too good for me, 20min of searching all over the structure. Retreated after being bitten by numerous roses. Will try again another day.

20-May-17
30min later and I had nearly given up. Decided to have a lean on a structure and think. As I did there it was laughing at me.

14-Apr-17
Very tricky hide!!!! Had to stand back and have a think on this one. When noticing something out of place made the find. Very clever well done. TFTC

14-Apr-17
Headed out with the geodaughter Redlipsandunicorns to find some geocaches today. Most caches were found quite quickly as it was a public holiday except a few that were in parks and lots of familys were enjoying the day off and searching was quite difficult. Thanks to the CO,s for placing the caches.

05-Apr-17
Finally found it after phoning a friend. Sneaky hide. It was nice to wander through the garden and actually smell roses that gave a smell tftc

04-Apr-17
Found with Neva2old, lucky she was there As Im to short

Back for another look after my DNF a few weeks ago. This cache was again my early morning bike ride destination. Success came pretty quickly this time as I'd previously looked just about everywhere. Thanks for the cache. It was very well crafted and difficult to find so I'm giving it a favourite point.

03-Mar-17
Found on night mission with Orrsome Family. Unable to get the logbook out successfully so took photo as evidence of find. Will sign logbook next visit and I have my tools with me. TFTC Smile

03-Mar-17
A bit of a night cache. Out with familysteiner who retrieved cache but couldnt get log out to sign so we took a pic. See familysteiner log for photo. Tftc

Up in Perth with a few hours to fill in while hubby is otherwise occupied, and with wonderful weather to be out and about, caching was the obvious choice!
Very thankfully this was a speedy find. Spent some time looking about first and then noticed what might be the prize, so was able to make the find without drawing attention to myself in such a public spot.
The roses were looking lovely. Thanks for the cache SunsetDuo.

Great construction, camouflage and hiding spot! I took advantage of a quiet day and went looking for this cache during my lunch break but it took me quite a while to find it. The coordinates were spot on for me but I was not meticulous enough with my search initially, even though I had the right idea at one stage. Thank you for the cache and for the challenge SunsetDuo, a favourite!

It is day number five in Western Australia for Net88 and I. We headed across to Perth because neither of us has been before and spent six days showing ourselves around, guided by geocaches. And today is our last full day, but our third day with a hire car so we can extend a bit farther afield, beyond public transport limitations.

We continue working through our short-list of geocaches; challenges, old hides, rare types and that sort've hand-picked thing. I had pulled up this morning feeling a bit gross and knew the day would develop a migraine. But having now looped out to Fremantle and now working through the general Dalkeith area, I was pushing through.

On our way to this geocache, we'd stopped and bought some lunch. The nice D/T of this geocache attracted us, so we parked on Vincent Street and found a park bench in the shade to sit for a long while and eat lunch plus take some more painkillers. It was nice to stop and just feel gross for a while, though being among the rose gardens was pretty lovely.

Feeling slightly better, it was onto the geocache. We wandered down towards GZ and happily there was nobody around. This meant we were both free to look wherever felt right. I don't think I was as sharp as usual, but did what I could. Even still, it was Net who found the container first. Exactly what we were expecting to find, really.

All in good condition here, so we signed the logbook and replaced as found. Now, back to the car and to re-evaluate our list for the rest of the day as I know I've not got much longer in me. Thanks for this geocache and showing us this place, SunsetDuo Smile

Captain Terror and I were spending the week in Perth. I had wanted to visit WA for quite some time, it is the last Australian state/territory for me to visit. We had made a list of geocaches that we wanted to find and this cache had made the list. It was our 5th day in Perth and this was cache number 76 for the trip.

We were driving around in our rental car so didn't notice the heat today. We had bought lunch so sat on a bench in the park to eat. Captain Terror had gotten a headache this morning and it was turning into quite the migraine. He wasn't feeling very well so I knew this one might be up to me to find. After lunch we headed over to GZ and we were searching for what felt like an eternity before I spotted the container. With our names added to the log and the container replaced we headed back to the car. Thanks for the cache SunsetDuo.

Up in Perth with Dimor for a day of caching.
Thanks for bringing us to this little area.

Off to an earlyish start with pood picking me up at 6.30am Sad to head north for some LGA caching for her.

We weren't going to do this one as pood already had her LGA for this area but thought why not get an extra smiley.

We got to GZ ok and had a look around, couldn't find anything. Decided maybe we should PAF. While waiting for the phone to kick in I said to pood "Oh look at that" PAF confirmed my suspicion and pood naturally grabbed the cache while PAF was explaining what I'd personally need RazzRazz

Found the pink roses to smell the best. Made sure we had a little time to enjoy this wonderful garden in suburbia

We have one or two other caches in this park over our years of caching. Today being New Years Day, the streets were strangely devoid of traffic. Good for us, as we were able to search knowing there were no muggles watching. It was a quick spot by the geo-hubby. Thanks SunsetDuo

28-Dec-16
Nice hides here, a fave point from us. Thanks SunsetDuo

23-Dec-16
Truth be told I'm more of a journey than a destination kind of person so a mint tin in a tree is an ideal hide for me. That said, I'm grateful for any hide at the moment in what is an overall desperate time for caching for me in Perth. I admire the creativity of the hides you're providing and it would be unjust to not provide the only thing of meaning we can provide other than a huge thanks....a favourite from me.

18-Dec-16
I stopped here on my early morning bike ride and had a good smell of all the roses but did not find the cache. I'll return one day for another look after I see a confirmed find.

13-Dec-16
DNFed - felt a bit exposed with the heavy traffic passing by and some curious people at the bus stop across the way, so gave it up fairly quickly. Thanks for the hide.

11-Dec-16
Couldn't find this one at night time unfortunately... I'll be back in the daylight
