###Cache Owner Action Needed###
This cache has been brought to my attention as likely to be missing.
After a string of successful Finds, it has now had a string of DNFs. I agree that this certainly suggests that something has happened at the cache location which requires investigation by the CO.
I am going to Disable it, and I'll check back in 4 weeks to see if either
- the CO has checked or rectified the apparent problem
- the CO has communicated when action will be taken
If the CO has not taken either of these actions, then regrettably the cache will be archived.
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

Not found. Considering this is a large size cache, that we had two pairs of eyes searching, and it was in fact our second visit - as we abandoned a visit last night (although we did have our torches with us, we decided to come back in the daylight) - it would appear this one may need checking.
Found by Geodog and I on a day trip to Launceston. Signed sealed and returned without being sprung. TFTC. MattyH from Tassie.
Easy find, I really like this place. Open and plenty of things for the little geocachers to do when they're bored caching. TFTC
After a trip to Devonport today it was back to Launceston for a work Xmas dinner and I had just a couple of hours to wait around. What a bonus, time to do some caching. I concentrated on mainly roadside or city caches. Being a Saturday I was able to park across the road to this one and was hovering around the pole for a minute. Hang on its a largish cache, it has to be in there and yes it was. Cache was in tip top condition and log was nice and dry. Thanks clarknco2 for keeping the maintenance up on this lovely sized cache.
Easy find for the geo daughter. Not sure how long it will last given the proximity to and views of gz by muggle houses. Stiill, good one to get after visiting the indoor play centre next door. TNLN. TFTC.
This cache is down until we can replace it. Seems to have gone MIA. We’ll wait until they’ve finished spreading new woodchips in the area before doing so.
I can see on Google walk the street that a lot of the bushes have been removed right where the cache should have been, and I suspect it's gone too.

Found with Mtrax on our mini holiday in Tassie! Now in Launceston - before heading back to Hobart tomorrow. A nice cache here. - thanks CNC.
Nice distraction from the spider web and slide while the kids were romping around the park
On our tour around Tassie we made here a quick stop.
After a while looking we can find the cache.
Thank you and greetings from Germany send Moorhelmi

Quiet in the park today - I think the muggle with the dogs might think I am a bit stalky - but all in a good cause. TFTC
In Tassie with family doing a short trip around this lovely island. We saw some amazing scenery, wildlife and visited some beautiful places while touring around in our motorhome. I took the opportunity to stop and grab any caches when we could stop. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the trip. We had some fun and laughs along the way.
Stopped in the park for some lunch. Wandered over towards GZ and after only a quick search, the hide was discovered.
Thanks clarknco2 for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

It was our last day in Launceston and we had a few hours to kill before we had to head off to the airport. We decided to go for a walk to Tailrace Park and grab a few caches on the way.
A quick find TNLN. TFTC.

In Tassie for a few days with 6hinemoa2 for some fun caching in the Southern state. So nice to find a large container. Thanks clarknco2
Out with Sorceysal for a few days of caching fun in Tassie . We had just driven off the boat after a long night in the recliner lounge and were heading to Ross via Launceston.
Of course we couldn’t go past a cache along the way .

Out on a cold frosty morning to get a few new caches which have gone down since our last visit to Tas, TFTC
Found the big one! Kids just wanted to play so I never opened and signed it. Was worried had been moved due to new path being placed near. Perfect spot with hint! Ty!
We walked by an interesting playground with a few muggles to GZ and a short search produced the hidden container. TFTC
Well up to date on my logs for once, well so I was thinking it turns out I have missed a few along the way going back months
So a quick generic log to mark my find, I more than likley found this while out caching with gooseandegg on one of our many caching trips.
Thanks for the cache and sorry about the poor and late log.

On a day that was all about GCA we stopped and found this lone GC cache. Last time we were here it had been taken away for a bit of TLC so it was good to be able to log it today. thanks clarknco2
A comment to stainless steel rat on Thursday night turned into a plan rather quickly over the following 24 hours. After a later than expected Friday night I dragged myself out of bed while the clock still started with a 5, Urgh!
My first stop was the Rats Nest to pick up stainless steel rat and after loading his things in the car we departed at 6.05am. Our first stop was Mood Food for coffee and to find some lunch to throw in the esky for later, followed by a much needed stop at the train park in Perth (to offload the coffee), then it was on to the house of TazScout for another round of coffee.
We spent the whole day caching in various parts of Trevallyn Reserve and then picked up a few other caches as we left there late in the day. We found traditional caches, puzzle caches, a trig point, some moveable caches, a pod cache, a reverse cache, a beacon cache, a gadget cache, a night cache and a multi-cache. We also found a cache of EVERY terrain type from an easy T1 right through to a ‘fun’ T5.
After a late dinner in town, we returned back south with a couple of fresh air stops on the way. After dropping stainless steel rat back at his nest, I arrived home at 11.45pm absolutely exhausted.

Love the themed playground nearby
Ever wanted to know how the water felt running down the pipe to the power station ??
Here's your chance
Hard to believe that the building across the road is an actual power station !! [:o]
So quiet !!
No smoke !!

We were out collecting caches in the area and had a quick find at GZ. The last time we were here it was away for repair, thanks for repainting. TFTC
A quick find. Am amazed that this cache is still here, and whilst great for us, oddly disappointed with the local council as there was also quite a bit of litter about. Tftc though
Hi there clarknco2.
We are camped at Old Mac's Farm, near Launceston (EIEIO ). We are planning to find some geocaches around the area in the next few days. We found your cache **"picnic by the tail"** at 11:14:00 AM today. (This brings our total find count to 18509).
We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey & found 11 caches (& DNF'd 0).
Thank you for placing this cache here,
##Thank you for placing a large cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia. It is really sad to note that the trend of placing small caches (without swaps) is increasing. While nanos and eclipse tins sometimes have their place in an urban environment these, along with 200ml Sistemas, seem to be the norm these days even out in more remote areas. It made us feel really glad to find a large, kid friendly cache here.##
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

As I approached GZ, I was a little concerned that the obvious recent landscaping work might mean that the cache was gone, but not so. Was an easy find, presumably still where it has always been. Lovely big container. TNL 1950 halfpenny. TFTC.
We have had a quite a few picnics by the tail over the years. And always enjoy coming to this great park. Found while walking the geodog on a lovely sunny afternoon. Thanks clarknco2 for the cache.
Catching up with some late logs.
Day four and our last full day of our Apple Isle visit with maccamob picking up a few caches while heading from Devonport back to Launceston.
This is a great little park that we are sure is very popular at the weekends so we were happy to be here midweek so that we could search with out worrying about muggles.
It didn't take too long to locate the good sized cache and add our names to the log. It was good to find a decent sized cache after a few days of smalls and nano's.
Thanks clarknco2 for the cache.

Found by Mary & David, in company with Team Crackers, at 1620. What a wonderful place for the locals to use. You could have a great Event here. Our thanks to clarknco2.
