We had decided to pick up just a few caches around the area as were heading into the city for a special one today. This was the last one that was found before we had to head into the city.
This one was quickly found and we hope it stays there, as it is just so obvious. All duties were completed as required and the container was replaced where it was found, after we had finished. Thanks for this cache, League13.

Had no problems in finding this cache. The cache was found quickly and easily in the first place that was checked. Sat on the seat and signed the log and then replaced the cache as found. Thank you League13 for placing this cahce.
I was travelling through the area on the way to my job sight and figured I may as well grab it.
This was a fairly straight forward find. I'm surprised the cache hasn't been muggled out. With it being quite visible, but I guess the park is not much used.
Find: 452
4th of 24 finds for today
0 DNFs for today
Cache:Is in good condition
Log/Logbook: Is in good condition

In the area when work finished so I thought, Awesome, I can get plenty before sunset. This was 2nd of 3 finds today and 2 DNFs.Quick and easy find. Cache# 309 TFTC
Reasonably easy find for me and geodaughter. Finally remembered a pen after the last couple finds - but didn't need it. Lots of foot traffic thanks to an open house in the street!
Out on a beautiful winter day to clock up sum number I have not really cached in the area before just picked up the odd one as I have been passing through. But today I came to cache I want to get about 25 every week for the next 13 months that is my new goal. So here we go. This was number 2 for the day. TFTC. It put in some note paper as a new log.
An overly warm winters afternoon had me out for some cache action.
League13 certainly knows his parks! Easy find but log has almost disinterested so couldn't sign. TFTC.

Nice quick & easy find while on my way into work this morning for a series of meetings. TFTC
Late afternoon, sevabo and I walked to the right GZ. We start to searched for a cache for a good few mins but it was exposed which we found it like that then logged it then put it back in hide place so I hope it will be right one? TFTH
Out for a Saturday afternoon caching walk in Denistone East. Found our way down through the back of Colvin Park past the Bowling Club. It will be interesting to see what the community decides to do with the Bowling Club. The tennis courts were certainly in use this afternoon. Unlike GZ where there was not a muggle in sight. Nice little playground. SL TFTC Cheers.... Gaztek
TFTC. - magnet fell to the bottom and couldn't reposition it. Sorry and log almost full. Hope this doesn't ruin the cache
Parked in a deserted type of street with shops that aren't shops. Walked to GZ and sat for a rest before making the find. SL and replaced. TFTC.
On this wet day I trawled Denistone for 21 finds and a couple of DNFs.
It was totally deserted and an easy find as a result.

Tftc, working in Eastwood/Ryde for the week. Its good to see more caches in the area. All the caches were found during the incredible wet spell. Most had gaps in the rain to allow for some dry caching.
Out and about again today, and after ignoring a nearby one that was hidden on a playground (I don't do those, as a 52 year bloke it just looks too suss) I headed here for a quick find. Thanks League13.
Kept walking towards Eastwood. I remember this weird little set of shops that has seen better days. Also Jacaranda Park with about two of the eponymous trees. This one wasn't in the usual spot but not that far off. Quickly found, signed, replaced.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I had cache blindness at this one. Looked right past it first time, then spent 5 minutes looking everywhere else...TFTC
Saw this one as we were walking towards it. We hid it just out of sight. Tftc!
This park is very exposed. I think someone working on a computer at shop 6 saw me as i made the find.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Another quick find in the first place we looked. Part of the cache is visible, but hopefully it blends in enough. TFTC, League13
Found it on a sunny Sunday while out with the dog. Another deserted little park. Quick find. TFTC
Another very cute little park. So far today, every street park I visited was completely void of muggles. Probably because it was over 30 degrees.... Signed the log quickly so I could get to that interesting playground faster.
The first of the day and a chance for the dog to have a walk.
A nice quick find in the empty park.
TFTC.

Today marks my one year anniversary of geocaching. So not only did we have to ring in the new year but also celebrate my geo-versary.
Found with RangerD. Arrived at GZ, and quickly had CIH. SLTNLN. TFTC.

Wanting to keep the streak alive for a few more days I came here for today's cache.
As it was so hot overnight I was awake with the birds so I got ready and grabbed geopup and headed over here. At that time of the morning there was no traffic on the roads, no one around the park and no one in the shops - all deserted!
So no one to watch me make an easy find, sign the log, visit some TBs and rehide the cache.
Back into the geomobile and geopup and I headed for the harbour shores where we were able to walk in a slightly cooler location.
TFTC League13, all these recents placements have helped keep my streak going on busy days.

Found at 8:32am.
I was out on a short caching adventure this morning, picking up some of the recently published local caches in the general Ryde area. The weather was pleasant but soon to be warming up so I wanted to get business done as early as possible.
This cache was number one of five finds for the day. Signed log, thanks for the cache League13.

Nipped out of the office late afternoon to grab this cache to fill in a missing day on the calendar. No one around GZ but who knows who was watching from the old shops. Many thanks League13

Back home after a few days in Canada, erm, Brisbane.
Only had a small caching window today, so looked for a cache near to home.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
After spending more time than I had at a nearby DNF, I came here.
Fortunately I spotted this one very quickly. No time so quickly complted signing duties, replaced, then away home.

14/12/16. 11:57 AM. Cache #4587.
1st of 3 today - Denistone East & St Ives
**FTF #188 - shared with JordsAU & sunhaloblue**
I was after a quieter day today, so I was just going to head out for two caches published on Sunday, around 5km from home albeit in different directions. Still hadn't decided when to go, but all of a sudden the new cache emails started pinging off. And here was this one, right near where I was going anyway!
I left straight away and got as close as Epping Rd before I realised JordsAU was likely to be a lot closer to it. Hedging my bets, I texted him and we'd agreed to meet and share it. Sure enough, he had beaten me to it, but hadn't found it yet. With JordsAU was his Mum, sunhaloblue (nice to meet you). I approached just as JordsAU made the find, close enough to be included in the find - woohoo!
A short chat and then I was on my way to "Beattie Park", one of my original targets for the day. TFTC.

We were not far away - almost around the corner at Geoson's school in the middle of a function. Just could not dash to get to the cache to attempt a FTF. Turns out when we did get to the cache, we were 10 minutes behind the FTF'ers. TFTC.
14/12/2016 {FTF} joint with sunhalo and Kid Ron Satan! I was out Christmas shopping in North Ryde with sunhalo, when I was made aware of a new cache in Denistone East, 'Community Park'. Kid Ron Satan was on the prowl and we arranged to meet up at the published co-ordinates to tackle it together. We arrived and parked on Diog Avenue, right out the front of the shopping strip. I do not recall ever coming here before, and I was surprised to see a modern and nicely maintained playground and an set of empty shops, which looks very dated (circa 1960's perhaps?). Anyway, Kid Ron Satan pulled up, as we were about to start looking for the cache and it was not long before we had the Cache In Hand. We performed the signing duties to confirm a joint First To Find, before returning the cache to its original hiding spot. Signed Log, Took Nothing Left Nothing. We stayed to chat for a few minutes, before jumping back in the car to resume the xmas shopping expedition. Thanks For The Cache League13, so many interesting parks to discover (I am enjoying the hunt, so keep them coming)!
Another hot day and another quick cache. Not as hot as yesterday, but close. Didn't bother about a FTF as I cannot leave my parking spot at work - it would then be taken when I return. But it is not too bad with an FFD - Find First Day.
Had to sit down on the nearby bench for a few minutes while the boy finished his swinging.

After finding “Beattie Park” I checked for nearby caches and this one popped-up. It must be quite new as I can’t remember it being there earlier. Signed, I think, in third place.
Thanks League13 for this wonderful tour of North Ryde pocket parks.
