After looking for ages. Sadlycouldnt find it, there were just way too many spots that it could've possibly been
Brilliant. After several return trips to my favourite r bush walk and with some help from Supernanny we finally found it. My GPS was off. Loved this one, so clever!!
No need for maintenance ....but I have raised the difficulty rating as a lot of folk have been finding it tricky !
So glad kolour found it . Hope you enjoy the rest of your time over here !
Congrats on your new grandson !
Was here recently and I am also disappointed about the damaged Fairy Houses being damaged .

I’m back in Auckland meeting my new grandson in Kohi. I had looked for this one a year ago without success but now with a year’s more geocaching experience, I found it.
It still took about 10 minutes. I did poke at what turned out to be the cache but not enough. So after searching a few other places, I returned to this object for a closer look, and there it was. Someone did walk past as I was signing the logbook and must have wondered what I was doing. Anyway, super happy to find this one. It’s definitely more than a D1, especially for newbie’s. I’ve seen similar before, so that definitely helped.
Sad to see many of the fairy houses damaged and erosion after the recent rains.
Greetings from Australia. Tftc

Had a good look around for a few minutes couldn't find it so I guess good hiding, will come back if I'm in area again
All good here....just loosened the outer lid a little with pliers as it had been tightened...
Had a go since I was nearby anyway, but couldn't find it. Not today at least - I'm sure I'll be back, since this is a nice place for a walk!
Looked all about in and out of the gate. Couldn’t find with my two little friends. Will look again. Please feel free to send along a hint!
Oh wow! Found it. Been here so many times previously. Great camo. After reading the previous logs and reading the hint again, I spotted it. Couldn’t twist off the lid. Weak fingers. I have a picture if need be. Tftc
Well Infoferret and I spent about 10-15 minutes looking for this one and just did not find the hiding spot. That despite racking our brains for every cache type we could think of. Suspect the difficulty rating needs to be a 2 at least. I met the CO next day while doing an adventure lab and she gave us a good hint as to where to look next time. I did check some of those options. Clearly did not do it well enough. Next time its seems.
Bummed we couldn't find it
Alot of places to look
Don't know what we were ment to look for. Cute painted rocks around the area

Came to check this one now geocaching is allowed at this level.
No need for maintenance!
All good here.
I highly recommend coming here to see the cool fairy houses if you do the loop walk....

Kept getting interrupted by walkers on a Sunday afternoon stroll who thought I was quite odd trying to act normal standing in the bush as they walked past and then continuing to fossick around… will try again another day
Will check this when we are out of Covid
Lockdown Restrictions....no geocaching allowed at present .
This is a tricky hide ...may need to upgrade the difficulty rating!

After looking at a comment from last year avout lockdown not sure if the owner took it away under level 4. Will come back another day.
Had a look at where my gps was sending me, and said NO THANKS....cant keep my footing on flat concrete let alone forest rubbish...cheers V.
Finally!! . Go running around this area quite often as this is the closest cache to my home. Have stopped a few times for a quick look, and always to no avail.
My GPS had me searching in the wrong area most of the time, so after definitely ruling out the area I spent most time in, I thought I would just try the other side....
I had contemplated all the micro-clues from previous finds, and was sure this was going to be clever, and indeed it was!
Definitely my most satisfying find yet, and a favourite point from me. TFTC.

The closest cache to my home, but the most tricksy! Been here a few times now whilst out walking for a quick hunt, but still to no avail!
Been trying to make sense of some micro-clues from other finds....but so far, this is still a DNF....for now!

Was so confident that this cache would be here based on the three previous DNFs, but in the end we prevailed!
Cache is in great condition still and definitely well done!
Thanks to the original CO for the build and thanks to supernanny for keeping it alive!

Out exploring the local area and picking up a few caches with cragger and laval.
Noticed this one was disabled on the map but also saw some found it logs that were not that old so decided to head over and take a look.
We looked this way and that, up and down, in and out with no luck. Stopped between the walkers and the dog sniffing visits (they must have thought we were nuts stroking the trees and looking in all sorts of nooks and crannies).
We talked about leaving when something kept bringing us back to a particular spot. Suddenly I hear laval say 'aha - this is it!' and it was! He really did have his eagle eyes on today.
The cache is definitely still there. Its in good condition. Is hidden in plain sight.
Thanks for the cache - worthy of a favourite point!

Found whilst out with keylev and cragger.
This one was so much fun - I found it!!

Now Keylev and her sons have confirmed this with a recent visit..
Many thanks!

Stay at home means stay at home!
The only way we will stop this virus is to stop it moving into new people.
Spare a thought for the essential services who are keeping you alive - infect them and you will have no one to keep you alive.

Yahoo. Great hide and such a lovely bush walk. will be back to do some more. Had a wee look about and bingo oh what can I see. yes a cache. tftc
Our first find! It was slightly tricky to find but after some hunting we spotted it clever camo
Stopped here on the way to a catch up with friends at the Bowling Club. A great cache that I’m glad I persevered with, even though I was going to be a bit late. I was looking in one area and about to try another when I looked up and thought “surely not” but it surely was. Very nicely done! A fav point for the construction and camo. Thanks for the cache!
I'm up in Auckland again for yet another visit, and this time I have my geolad with me too. So I had spent a few hours showing him around some of my favourite caches in this part of Auckland, and also trying for a few that I hadn't previously attempted, including this one.
Arriving at GZ, and seeing that this was supposed to be a D1, we started hunting around thinking we would have a quick find. That was certainly not the case, as the cache is a very nicely hidden camo, which I would suggest ought to be at least a D2!
But once found, we happily signed the log and replaced everything back exactly as found ready for the next seeker.
Thanks for the cache

Ryan and I were out for the morning and once we had found a safe place to park we wandered on over. Initially had us scratching our heads until we noted something of interest and the cache was soon in hand. Love the camo, cheers
Out for some caching after work. Found the entrance, but when I found a broken black cable tie I feared this may have gone missing. Then I checked over the other side, and something a little different caught my attention. After closer inspection, it turns up the cache. Very nicely done, FP added, cheers
So much work has been done around here. There are a TON of places it could be. Especially with my god jumping all around under the trees
We headed over towards Glen Innes this morning to go caching as we wanted to boost our finds on this calendar date. Parked nearby and made the short walk to GZ. After a brief search we had the nicely camoed cache in hand. Thanks.
Out visiting a muggle friend who resides nearby. GPS took a while to settle but once it did, it literally took me directly to the well camo'd cache. Very nicely constructed. All in good order. Daily steak goes on TFTC
Not sure if we are in the right spot but there is a track with stairs into the bush with a sign saying keep out - danger and a barrier across the steps
Found it in under 5 mins after the third time coming to look and was surprised I didn't find it the first time but it's well placed in plain sight but if you look close enough it stands out.
After scrambling around both sides of road and path, we eventually found it. 8pm and mozzie bitten, we found our first cache with our lively French friend Katie B.
We spent a long time looking for this one in the wrong spot. Once we wisened up we found it pretty quickly. I like these kind. Very cleverly camoed!
Great camo! GPS was bouncing but we managed to find this after realising we were on the wrong side of the path. Haha tftc
Had a rather short day at work! Since today was a dot day in the calendar I thought I might like to grab a cache on my way home. This one did just nicely. I had a good look around checking out the usual spots then not long later I thought about the hint a bit more then found the cache! I really liked this cache ANZ. Nicely done. Paper absolutely dry after recent maintenance and FP from me for your efforts.
Out and about for a spot of cache detection round the old neighbourhood today. Good weather for it. I invented some parking and got to searching. Checked a couple of likely looking spots before I had a brainwave and spotted the hide. The GPSr did want to jump around down here. It had been a long time since my last visit to this reserve. As mention by AV, the log is very wet. Cheers for the cache placement!
Nobody around today which meant a stress free search. Checked a couple of spots before spotting the right spot.
Log is very wet & needs replacing. TFTC

A one last find before dinner at nearby event . Quick find although log sheet is very wet and plastic bag has holes in managed to wipe a dry spot on log so we could sign.

The final cache find before heading to a dinner event just up the road. We all headed into the bushes to search. Not too long later Davidson clan called out that he'd spotted the cache. Log signed and we were on our way.
I was heading to an event nearby and met up with the Davidson Clan, Jag50 and Aiden29 beforehand to do a couple of caches. We spread out for this one and it wasn't long til Davidson Clan called out he's found it. The log was very wet but he managed to dry it enough to get our names on it
Out here tonight to attend an event with Merlot58, Davidson Clan, and Aiden29. We Found by the Davidson Clan after a short search. The log was very wet but we managed to get our names on it.
Off a damp and gloomy path through a bit of bush. Had to think a while before spotting it. TFTC
Got it this time but it took 4 sets of eyes. We even started to get inventive - prying the plastic caps off the fenceposts before we found its much simpler location. We needed this one; had spent the morning revisiting missed caches and this is the only one we found.
Had quite a walk through this reserve to get to this cache; a place I hadn't been before. Had a quick check around a couple of spots and then managed to spy it. TFTC.
Spending the afternoon at my parents sorting out 'technology issues', mum asked if there were any caches close by. There haven't been any in the dell for years though I keep meaning to leave one but I see you got in first. Left the kids in the pool with poppa, husband sorting out the computer and walked around the corner to grab this cache.
I love this park, it was my playground growing up. TFTC!

Took a wee while, GPS accuracy down to 11m resolution, but had me near enough that I didn't have to expand the search area too far.

This one gave me some grief when I tried earlier. My GPSr had me halfway to Timbuktu. After I heard a gentle whisper, I focused my attention in the right place and found it today. TFTC.
Nice morning walk so we decided to clean up a few caches in our otherwise sea of yellow in this area. Initially it was not to be found but after widening our zone a little it came into view. Quickly signed and returned.
Yay....Third to find !
Thanks alligatorsnz ....
Was expecting something quite different....
But it was easy after all....didn't need all that scrambling I did !

I'm currently needing to find caches within a week of them being published as part of my current geolicence and this was the last one, yay! I spent a few minutes looking for this one and I was very glad I'd put mozzie repellent on beforehand Luckily I spotted something not quite right and it was the cache, TFTC!
This took us way longer than it should have scrambling around in the early morning light! We saw this last night but read the description and decided to attempt it in the morning if we woke to no logged entries. GPS was really bouncy sending us round in circles but we got there in the end and managed our first [FTF] of 2017. It's always nice to see an empty log book! TFTC
