Not that great a view today, want a refund please tmann! Nice easy find after a quick slog upwards in the drizzle. All good here, removed the mint lolly inside.I have a couple of days of meetings scheduled for Weds/Thurs this week down in Wellington and headed down mid-afternoon on Tuesday. There was some shonky weather forecast and I wanted to get into the accommodation before that arrived (I did) and maybe grab a couple of on the way caches as I headed South. Nice to recall what the road used to do before the Expressway came and a nice side-bar trip to Waikanae Beach and surrounds too. Thanks to the COs for their hides. There were some solved Puzzles located (some by me, some as part of a group) and I note a number of other Unsolveds which surely means a return trip will be required in the future.
Had a day to myself to do some clean out geocaching in Waikanae. Fantastic day with zero DNF's (Thanks all hiders). Lovely walk to the cache site and a short search to find the cache. Lovely views but a little overcast today. Thanks for the cache.
If we hadn't fallen in love with Kpiti Coast yet, we would coming here. You know you have a family of cachers if you reach the top of a hill, see an opportunity to sit down and nobody does as the opportunity of being Muggle free must be used Couldn't have chosen a better area to go for an Easter Monday walk. TFTC, placing and maintaining. FP for the views, attaching today's
Trouve ! / Found it ! La bote s'est transform en nid araignes mais est toujours prsente.4358me cache trouve.Merci tmann421 pour la cache The box has turned into a spider's nest but is still there.4358th cache found.Thank you tmann421 for the cache
This is a small hill compared to what I would later climb, my niece found the cache first, good view here, tftc tmann421
*Catching up on some logs that I have somehow missed...*Found this cache with The Seagnoid and Miss 11 (UnicornLex) on the way back from Twig's Cannonball Run event (not sure why his log says he was with NZ_B and IF2020. Have added a photo from the day anyway as proof.
It's quite a warm day, and the CO sends us up a ruddy great hill. Thankfully it is a pretty small great hill. Despite its diminutive size, It does have a pretty good view of Kapiti. An obvious photo location, so naturally I forgot. Bugger.
Found on the way home from the Cannonball Run multi mini mega event. I'm with NZ_B and Itchyfeet2020, and I suggested we come via this road to help NZ_B with getting 50 caches this month, part of a baker's Dozen challenge somewhere.

Nice spot. The container seems to be the home of a spider nest but ... they're only little spiders! TFTC.

Was passing by as I collect up some solved puzzles and thought I'd make a quick dash to GZ before giving the dogs some more water. Thankfully it was a nice quick find, couldn't hang around to enjoy the view for too long but was grateful there were no muggles sitting near GZ. TFTC

If you know where this photo was taken on a blood moon summer's night you know where to find me
What an awesome view! Wandered up here with Piwaka54 after visiting friends in their new home down the road. Loving the wetlands hidden behind the dunes. A fav point from me!
Took quite a bit of looking as the cache had fallen from it’s home. Eventually I found it and placed it back but it might be worth checking the magnets. Great view!
A beautiful afternoon to come exploring in Pharazyn Reserve. Easy find, all good in container. Tftc!
Another beautiful place I probably would never have visited if not for caching. Great views from here, and a great cache, cheers
Checked on cache, log nearly full so placed a new one and replaced container as well as old one had lost some paint.
Pouring down outside, so we thought it would be the perfect time to get rid of the cabin fever.
Lovely area for a stroll.
Thanks!
Lovely area for a stroll.
Thanks!
We'd thought we'd take advantage of a break in all the wet and wild weather we've had lately and head out for a bit of Christmas shopping and caching.
We parked up quite close to here and zigzagged our way to GZ where the cache was quickly in hand. This was a beautiful and tranquil little spot to enjoy the views.
Many thanks for bringing us here

We are down in the area for a few days staying with family and today we cycled from Paraparaumu past Waikanae - beautiful day for it. We loved biking in the estuary wetlands here - great scenery and a very pleasant cycleway. Great spot here - superb views for photos, TFTC
A nice quick find thanks. I put the cache where it it stuck, and it stayed. (for now?)
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee tour of the North Island. A travel day from Palmerston North to Petone today. The weather was good for caching and biking, not too hot, cold, windy or wet.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

A quick easy find in the brisk wind, as the cache was lying in view on the ground. As the magnet seems to have lost its strength, we rehid it in the grass at the base of the leg. TFTC
#1686. Let’s celebrate the release from COVID Alert Level 3, to Delta Alert Level 2 by going on a cache-hunt up to the Kapiti coast. GB Leader and I decided to spend a couple of nights at Paraparaumu Beach, and find a few 10+ FP hides towards the next Peak, Vinson, in the Reach the Peak saga.
This was find #5 for the day. Another nice hide from tmann421, but boy was it windy today? Good view of the island though.
Tftc tmann421.

A wild and windy day - out for a stroll with mum (aka muggle) - she found the cache! Great hide. TFTC.
I noticed a handful of caches around the Waikanae area that were such that I could park somewhere and walk to them a pair at a time with several km between each pair. This was my second cache at the second stop after getting off the expressway. I wasn't quite sure if I could get to this cache from where I was due to a lack of tracks on the maps I had available. But a quick look on the satellite view showed there was a way and a few minutes later I was there. It seemed I could have parked quite close to this but I'm here to walk around the place not do park and grabs. On arrival I suspected the kind of thing I would be looking for but it didn't reveal itself. I even looked for some of the more devious ways of hiding caches at places like this that I have encountered but still nothing. What does the hint have to say? Yeah, that's what I thought. But what's this suspicious thing? The thing where the cache should be - that's what. So when I looked more carefully below, there was the cache on the ground hiding itself pretty well. I returned it to its obviously intended home after signing. TFTC!
Wowza! What a view! Biked up with @peadub for an easy find. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.
Found on a lovely, sunny evening. First find ever! Was great having my ten year old to spot it for me while I enjoyed the view!
Nice view here while taking a detour and a break from the drive south. All safe and dry, TFTC
Wasn't aware of this spot. Thanks for getting me here. Cache secure and dry. SL TFTC
#8803 21 November 2020 15:01. Out for a stroll with mum and my better half when I persuaded them to head up here. Found after a brief search, my cache senses obviously aren't firing today! TFTC, would be a lovely view if it wasn't cloudy and overcast today.
Actually found 12/11. Forgot to log . Beautiful spot and lovely day to be out finding a few quick caches after lunch at Waikanae beach. Thanks for bringing me here. Would not have known about it otherwise
One of four caches located on a very pleasant spring day when we biked from Waikanae Beach up to Peka Peka and back on the cycleway alongside the expressway. This was a reasonably quick find. Nice spot to head up to. #3463. TFTC.
Found with bkj97 on our little jaunt on a pleasant spring morning. Had to wait for a herd of muggles but cache quickly located once they left. Great view of the island. Favourite added for the view. T4tcsl
Couldn't resist a couple of caches on such a nice morning. Great view. Will come back another day for the others we didn't have time for this morning. Tftcsl
Nice to see all the planting going on here. This place is turning into a bit of a gem. TFTC
Second on this morning's geocaching walk along the beach. Great view from up here, quick, easy find. TFTC!
Quick leg stretching exercise rewarded with a great view and a geocache, still enjoy these hunts, tftc.
What a lovely view! I often watch this spot when I'm out fishing so it was nice to see the view from land for a change
One of the few nice summer days this year. Sun, gentle breeze, geocache in great order.
Thanks
Thanks
I'm glad they put a seat up here as after the short but sharp little walk up here I was ready to use it! Great view from up here too..... You can't beat Kapiti on a good day.
Nice quick find at GZ. Thanks tmann421 for encouraging me to take the time to walk up here.

Thanks again tmann421 for placing this cache ... yet another place I probably wouldn't have visited if not for this hobby!
Had a nice walk in the sand-dunes here following a fruitless prickly search for the northern waypoint of Sisterwatch (dont go there!)... and cache soon found.

I came up the coast today to boost my numbers for September.
The one and only other time I've been here before I had my son with me, who wasn't that keen on "getting out of the car" so bypassed these caches. Today I was by myself so parked up and went for a wander. Headed along the track and took a turnoff, and then another, before finally reaching the top. Nice views. Cache was a quick find. Signed log and returned. All good here. TFTC

A beautiful day to be out and about in Kapiti picking up a few caches.

Had an early start this morning to ride the bike on Expressway Cycle / Walkway to find some caches before a meeting in Foxton. Found on a 'detour' to Foxton. Thanks tmann421 for the cache.
I was out and about today as I needed to go to Paraparaumu, and thought I'd use the opportunity to grab a few caches to finish off my efforts for the Cache Carnival event.
I hadn't visited this reserve before, and that highlights one of the joys of Geocaching which is the excuse to get out and explore new places.
This was a beautiful day to check out this reserve, and its splendid views of Kapiti. The cache location itself offered one of the best views, which I thoroughly enjoyed as I was writing my entry into the logbook.
Thanks for placing this cache.
