Completely forgot I had disabled the cache along time ago. Have not had time to activate again due to other commitments.

On our trip thru NZ we visit a lot of places and see many spectacular locations.
This cache was one of our stopps thanks a lot to the owner.

Hard to find

#9704. Today we took a quick stop on Fairley Road in Lynmore in Rotorua. People were at home, but the footpath and GZ were pretty quiet when we visited. Quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Christmas! Family! So I ran away and did some geocaching to get a break from it all. Took my neice with me, but that's okay, that's just one person, not the whole horde.
Stopped by here, a quick find after a bit of confusion re thinking the cache was in one of the trees but the GPS just did not agree.
Itoo wonderered if the CO lives here. I knocked on the door, but no one was home.

I liked the name of this one once I had read all about it . . . . . quickly found, signed returned and on we went to find number 4 on our trip around the Lake before heading to Hamilton for the night. TFTC

3172 Over in Rotorua for the day. Parked up in a near by street to do a walk around of the caches in the area. This was the first. Thanks to the hint I was able to grab it as I walked past. Carried on walking further down the road before stopping to sign. Then turned around and placed back as I walked past again. Thanks for a nice easy cache.

Error for me, I hate night caching!

We started our trip away before Easter and the Cyclone was to hit the top of the North Island, but nothing much came of it where we were we had great weather all the days away so lucky consider the warnings. Better to be safe than sorry. Heading towards home from being up Thames way what a beautiful place we live in. We had to get a cache from Rotorua before continuing on our Journey so this was the cache to find. A nice park and grab here today in a quiet out of the way street. Thank you for placing a cache here not too far out of the way from the main drag and get and carry on. Cache was all good here TFTC

Today, It being a non-shopping day, along with the fact that we were meant to be 200kms away out East Cape (but weren't due to the weather at the end of last week), we spent the day collecting a few caches around Rotorua to see a bit of different countryside and make the most of the fine weather that had come out to play.
Setting off from home at 6.30am (nice early start with the good wife) and a quiet drive over here. So it was a concentration on caches we could get to, that weren't roped off as the lake level was too high, and only involved a short walk, as didn't want to leave "wifey" with the car too long as she might leave without me and say "Bugger You" and the caches.

Managed to grab 27 of 27 today which was more than happy as it has left enough to come back to in the future. This was the twenty-third of the day and a nice quick find following some breakfast at the "Fat Dog" and a liquid lunch. Nice quick find and am sure that I had waved to the CO in passing.
Although did get myself in the poo by offering to stop for antiques at Tirau on the way back [^], but then informed that as its Easter Sunday all shops are closed and that is the only reason I would offer to stop for a shop, as if

Cleverly concealed from the prying eyes of the neighbours.
Only muggle was busily mowing his lawn and ignored us --- but we timed it well as we were just back in the car and a horde of school children released for the day came flying past on scooters, and bikes and by foot.

This is our second catch, in our first night of geocatching. It was pretty easy to find and a nice evening walk for me and my mom!

Our today's tour took us to Rotorua. There we visited the many hotspots of nature with their hot and cold springs. The unique lake landscape and also waterfalls were particularly good. By the way, we also searched for a few caches and found most of them. At this point a big thank you to all the owners who designed their containers here. [^]

I should have found this one as a FTF but we were in Thailand when it was placed!!!! Which sucks cause we live like 1 min away but anyway what a nice professional cache. Good start!! If you would like try out some of my caches! TFTC

Georunnermatt and I drove past on publishing day for a chance at FTF but who we presume was FTF and the CO were all outside, so we continued on, to return in a stealthier moment. Tonight we finally remembered, and a quick look with the torch revealed the cache. Nice little hiding spot tftc!

Found at 11:05pm tonight with livee_nz, after picking up a few caches around Rotorua this evening. A quick find at a muggle free time of the night. I starting to quite like these urban/residential caches. Great cache for your first one! TFTC

One more find before heading home...

It felt weird casing the neighbourhood in broad daylight... I might have eye trouble, but I'm sure that hint object is black. Or is grey the new black? This was well wedged and took a couple of sweeps to extract. Keep them coming... TFTC.

After too many eyes last time we had another go today on our way back from the forest. We used some stealth and remained unseen and while Mr S waited in the Geomobile Mrs S got out and soon made the find. The muggle across the road on his roof took no notice and there was no one else around.

Last cache for the day, arrived right behind Judddy just as they were getting out and making the search, saw in the logs that the co-ords were changed (BTW you updated them to the same as the old co-ords) after looking at the new coords and the reading the clue I decided across the road was the right place, after a short search the cache was found

On our way home around the lake thought we'd stop off and do this new one.

Arrived at GZ but felt eyes on us, someone was watching out their front window and a child was on the front lawn, so rather than compromise the cache hide we abandoned the search. We will come back, maybe when the child has gone to bed and the eyes in the window are focused elsewhere.
