Found today while out with geokids and the fox. GPS had a bit of bounce but spotted a logical spot and soon had cache in hand. TFTC
You got me second place. I looked, I thought, was a great hiding spot, even put my fingers on the cache, but dismissed it.. thinking I needed to have another look at the calculations I had left in the car. I went back to investigate further, and OMG sneaky bugger.
Finally got the chance to hunt this multi down. Neat hide too. Thanks for the fun
Spending the day out caching with @searchingformacca on the way home from weekend camping. Grabbed the information we needed, then did our short stroll to GZ for a quick find. TFTC
Out for the weekend Cacheing with @Smithiesoutbackgear. Love the Cache and was a good find. Cheers
As we explored Glenmaggie we stopped off here to collect the info. Once we had our numbers we made the short walk to gz to find the local creature waiting patiently for the next finder.
Now off for some more adventures around the lake.
Thanks CJPERX for the multi placement.

Had a nice morning out at the lake finding some caches with my Da. Successful day for a couple of newbies.
Terrific tribute even if I’m running out of daylight. It’s been decades since I was last here so it’s a trip down memory lane for me. Taking a Circuitous route to Melbs via Dargo and an Event near Mt Erica so why not head here too? Having said that, the big plan was to head north of Lincoln BUT unexpected rain and drizzle just happens to be hovering so given I go places for views, Glenmaggie it is! . TFTC and the fun
F(H)ound It! #3755 @ 1:50 PM
A lovely afternoon geocaching with the Ridgeo-pup and Maddie the dog, SisterOutlaw and BrotherOutlaw.
Quick calculations done on the back of my now sweaty hand, so I was not at all sure I had the right coordinates as we marched off together. But we found it with no problems. A nice straight forward multi
Thanks for the cache, CJPERX

Today is a magnificent day for a geocaching run along the western lake edge on my bike. This was my second last find for the morning and after a quick calculation on site made the short walk to a hide in an obvious location albeit about 10m today from where the satellites were pointing me TFTC
Found 12 from where GPSrs said.
We just used our geosense s to make the find.
Found it upside down and aldosterone buried.
TFTC
We put it back where found.

We spent a great weekend camping with the geokids on the Macalister River and finding geocaches around Glenmaggie, Heyfield and surrounds. Caches were signed/stamped between 25-27th, September. We found some really beautiful little spots around here! Thanks so much for placing and maintaining these caches We all solved this one and the kids really enjoyed the cammo on this!
I had forgotten about this multi but I'm holidays at the moment so I cruised on out here lots and lots of water on the roads and as expected around here it's quiet and relaxing thanks for another cache CJPERX
We have been cooped up inside for months now with COVID but with the restrictions starting to ease decided that we would get out for the day and see how many of the caches closer to home we could find. Rebel Acts decided to come along for the ride as well. There’s not too many Gippsland caches he hasn’t found, but he is willing to watch and laugh if our efforts come up empty. The day has started cold, but fine and clear. Hopefully this will last but there has been hail forecast for some of Gippsland. With luck just not the part we are caching in.
Signing all logs today as RASP (Rebel Acts/ SKI Pair)
The rain has started, so Mrs SKI sent the boys off looking for this one while she stayed in the car. She was the sensible one!

A few messages back and forth with Ski Pair and plans were made to head out to Glenmaggie where there was a nice group of caches to find, we were very lucky with the weather as it did not start raining till we had found our last cache for the day, it had been eleven years since I had been here. Some logs were signed RASP. This was one of the cache we found while exploring the area.
Thanks CJPERX for the cache.

Found on a caching day trip with gwd.aussie. After a false start and a recheck of our calculations we had the cache in hand. Our incorrect coordinates still taking us on an enjoyable short walk to a scenic spot.
Thank CJPERX

Didn't bug me too much. Quick find in good condition. Nice to learn the history of little townships like this that appear out of nowhere. Tftc
TFTC. Day 3 in Gippsland and today we ventured to Glenmaggie. I (Hans) have never been here, Linda has a long time ago. One of our daughters now holiday here every January. being close by we though we would let geocaching be our guide around Glenmaggie and Heyfield. A great couple of hours . All caches found were in good order .
Quick find today as we are checking out the area for the first time. Having a blast with the variety of caches out this way and the area in general. It is definitely a lot warmer here in Aussie Land than back home during October.

Day 2 of our annual caching blitz holiday. Fire station on alert today as the temperature s soar. Tftc
On the way to an event in the high country, ahomburg and SedgwickDave took a slight detour to assist me with a challenge I am slowly working towards completing. Of course the challenge is one thought of by one of these two cachers and hasn't yet been published but that doesn't really matter does it? The enjoyment is in the planning and effort.

Find #9914
On the way to an event in the high country, it was quite a long drive, so along with leafotwind and sedgwickDave, we made a stop here to stretch the legs and of course to find a cache. This was the cache of choice. Now the final drive towards Mount Howitt.
Many thanks to CJPERX for the cache. TNLN.

A fairly straightforward multi, which we enjoyed. Nice to see the area a bit fresher after the showers last night

This was a great little multi close to the fire station. we collected the required information from the warmth of the car, did the required maths and got some coordinates. A short walk up the hill lead us to a cache in good condition. On the way back to the car I noticed hundreds of young wattle seedlings of a variety of species that in a few years will make accessing this cache a lot more challenging, unless they are cleared away somehow.
A lovely little multi in a beautiful spot. Out and about with surefoot24 and her partner for the day.

The Ben Cruachan Walking Club held a navigation course for it's members at Glenmaggie. The caches in the proximity were used for a GPS training/practice exercise. TFTC
A nice quick multi to help break up the morning and an equally quick retrieval too.
Thanks CJPERX for this placement.

Hahaha Mr 13 totally freaked as it was the first one of this kind he had seen... TFTC awesome little multi
Final cache for the day and it was another to give me a giggle. This one was definitely Geokid's (Gunner_B's) favourite, and thus gets a favourite point from me. TFTC
All things dull and ugly,
All creatures short and squat,
All things rude and nasty,
The Lord God made the lot. !!! [:o]
Each little snake that poisons,
Each little wasp that stings,
He made their brutish venom.
He made their horrid wings.
All things sick and cancerous,
All evil great and small,
All things foul and dangerous,
The Lord God made them all. [^]
A much better version of the song in my opinion
Still a big hurrah to the people at the CFA,
for protecting us all from such heinous threats posed by Dog

{FTF} Noticed yesterday that 3 more caches had been added to the Glenmaggie series but 2 had already been found so when I checked this morning and this still hadn't been found I headed off. Knew where I had to go to find the clues, so got the dates and plugged in the answer. GZ was not far away so cache was found and yes the log sheet was blank! TFTC and thanks for the series
