Id always driven past but never stopped here before. Great park and tribute to the Anzacs. Thanks.
Very tricky! Lucky the park wasnt busy on this cold Kilmore day, meant we had time to really explore. The hint is not as obviously helpful as we first thought
Found at 2;25pm, traffic building up for the great Kings Birthday weekend escape! Luckily we found this one without too much ado and signed the log. TFTCWe're heading to Wangaratta for a caching weekend with Harrowang.
On a trip to collect a cache in pyalong, so grabbed this one while here. Thanks For The Cache
What a wild adventure this turned out to be! Sneaking out with my partner to find this cache near the war memorial was supposed to be a smooth mission, but fate had other plans. Just when we thought we were alone on our hunt for the cache, a police car pulls up, sending our hearts into a frenzy. Turns out, they were the friendliest officers ever, joining our search party with gusto. Who knew geocaching could attract such attention? The senior constable was the hider of several caches in the area and needed no explanation as to what we were up to. And let's not forget our track record with this CO's caches we failed 2 out of 2 on the way here! But hey, third time's the charm, right? Thanks to the cache owner for those helpful hints that kept us going, even when we were ready to throw in the towel. We'll definitely be back for those others and hoping for better luck.Huge shoutout to the CO for keeping us on our toes and leading us on this hilarious journey. This find will definitely go down in the books as one of our most memorable, thanks to some unexpected assistance from our boys in blue!Have a FP from me for the experience. Lest we Forget.
We have set off on our annual winter escape but with no real plans other than a set of ideas. Our first stop is Bendigo, a place we haven't visited for any length of time in the past. There appears to be much to see and a good variety of caches to keep us entertained. We met up with our caching buddies Rebel Acts and Omegaman for a few days as well which added to the laughs and fun.Somewhat sadly, today was the day we all had to head home, us for an appointment but we will soon be back.Caches logged as RASPOM or SKI Pair if they had already found them. This is one of the caches we have found to date.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Team Boomajarril.**SKI Pair****
On our way TEMBO! and I visited the cache "For KING and COUNTRY" and signed the logbook for us.Thanks to Team Boomajarril for hiding and maintaining the cache.T4TC Filser1
Found by Iamapoms Dad at 14:00 on 25/1/2024. Thanks to Team Boomajarril for the Traditional. This is Iamapoms find number 2803. Greetings from Melbourne Australia.
On a wet afternoon in Kilmore with ima-Pom team including dad we found the cache well placed thanks heaps from Team One-eyed
Found it while playing at the park with my kids. Log is full and I didn't have a pen so couldn't sign, but I live nearby so next time I'm here I'll try to add some paper.

Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Thankfully we had a quick find here. Thanks Team Boomajarril for the cache.
First stop on a day out with the intention of earning the current souvenir. Spent too long looking in the wrong area before I thought about the hint and followed my "I wonder". Log is full but managed to squeeze my name and date along an edge. TNLN, TFTC
A little tricky, explored the exact spot a few times and didnt realise I was on it. Great little park to just sit and take a breath.
This cache was one found on a trip away with Flintstone's for 4 days. We had the Geotour in Ballarat as our target, and made our way as far as Queenscliff.
Ballarat caching was a joy, and with the tour, we saw many lovely and interesting locations as well as stopping for many other caches as we passed. Lots of little walks helped with the colder first few days as well as being quite scenic.
A change of weather and scenery towards Queenscliff but the coast was a great place to visit with plenty to do and see. As always, more to do than there was time for, will just have to return one day! Thank you for your cache!
Short search had this found log is full but a few gaps till it gets a new log..

Driving through on our weekend away, Tom quickly made this find. I started looking in the wrong area! Log book is full. TFTC
After this morning's parkrun around the Kilmore Racecourse I did the usual and looked for some nearby caches. After finding the trad at the Kilmore East Recreation Reserve I thought I'd try something more challenging.
And challenging it was - even with the hint I found nothing and eventually gave up after 15 minutes.

*Log almost Full
Thought we’d stop off here as there was no one about, plenty of traffic but no muggles. Short look around & we soon spotted the hide. TFTC.

Stopped by on the way home to stretch our legs and there happened to be this cache a few meters away! Nice quick find tftc
Took awhile on a wet Winter day. My kids had a soccer clinic nearby, this was a welcome distraction. Converted a child muggle to the game of Cache.
This cache has been a thorn in our side forever, having searched for it at least half a dozen times but loathed to put a blue frown on it, we left it feeling frustrated and on one occasion saw someone else log it the same night we had spent ages looking for it as a "quick and easy find" grrrrr
Today, while in the area, we debated whether to give it another shot.
Im glad we did. Within minutes, Mrs 4wd shouted Bingo!! we finally found it in a spot I swear I have looked every time we have searched for this sucker!!
Frustrated but relieved, we are happy to finally put a yellow smiley on it

Rainy day on the way home from work, thought I'd get this quick cache. Took a little longer to find with the bouncing gps and my lack of knowledge of what a retaining wall was.... anyway, once I was in the right spot found it quickly, signed the log and replaced.log is getting full, will need replacing soon I imagine. Tftc
I have realised that caching is great physiotherapy and have decided to do plenty of it to help with my recovery from recent injury. Also its great fun isnt it. Anyway I have planned a good sized trip today with plenty of caches, we will just have to see how I hold up.
I had forgotten to fill up on the way and the geomobile was running on fumes by the time we got here. Thankfully I was able to fill up across the road before tackling the cache. It took me quite some stealthy searching to find this one, there are plenty of potential hidy holes and plenty of passing muggles. Eventually I noticed a likely sign and had the cache in hand. A fun challenge, thank you.

We eventually found this one. It was a little bit tricky read the description, a couple of times and sat down on the seat and had a think about it nice hide.
32,059. Found with minniek during our Great Victorian County Hunt this long weekend. Our aim is to finish off Victoria - minniek needing 14 and myself 7.
We left Canberra after work on Friday and stayed overnight at a familiar free camp at Oxley Reserve. Saturday night we arrived in Sale and had a great dinner at a local pub followed by a luxury motel room. Yesterday we meandered West ticking off required Counties until we ended up in Queenscliff. We were planning on staying in Geelong overnight but instead stayed in Queenscliff as it was so lovely. Day 4 dawned and we started a loop back via certain caches on our list. This was the next find for the day, and another interesting location. Quick find at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then we then headed off to the next cache on our list.
Thanks Team Boomajarril !!

Headed away this long weekend with fitzy_1965 for the Great Victorian County hunt. Our mission is to finish off Victoria.
We drove from Queenscliff to home. The last county on our list collected along with a nice mix of virtuals, challenges, ALs and anything else that took our fancy.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. And thanks to all the COs who continue to help us reach our goals.

Hint had me searching elsewhere at first, but then the GPS took me to the right place where the cache was spied and signed.
I should have known that "that is all for today" meant that there wouldn't be too many more. This is one of the 'finished for today' caches that we found on the way home from a great weekend away. This is a lovely area. Thanks for placing this cache and bringing us here.
We stopped here to work out which way we were going to go home and use the facilities nearby. I was almost back in the car when I realised that there was a cache here. Pleased that it was a quick find in the dark. Thanks for the cache.
Found with a friend after breakfast at a nearby cafe. Nice quick find as it was in full view. Covered up a little better than we found
Tftc. Micro cache found relatively quickly based on the information provided and the locate arrow. Make sure you take a pen. I didn’t so I’ll have to revisit

Well I'll admit this took a while longer to find than planned, although it was nice to be here. Daughter loved the extra time at the park too. Lest we forget.

Found cache and log signed with dalerious .
We had just completed a huge day at Mt Disappointment signing Challenge caches.
There was one in particular I wanted to qualify for, but I needed 6 Caravan attributes. I quickly went to work making up a list for a quick drive by onslaught of trads that fitted the bill .
Thank you Team Boomajarril for this cache, which was found in good condition.

A trip to check out some of the awesome places in Victoria and grab some old caches. TFTC.
I came past about a week ago but a couple where sitting here so I couldn't search. Passing through today and found it after a long search.

It was nice to sit here and watch the slow moving traffic on Sydney Street and the trucks struggling up Foote Street. Sometimes you just have to stop and smell the roses

A quick stop while we were driving through. Fortunately there weren't many people around as we admired the monument. The gps lead us straight to the cache hide and it wasn't long before we were signing the log. Thanks for placing the cache here it was a lovely and interesting spot.
On my way out of Whittlesea and heading back to Melbourne, only a few more days of caching left. Now it is a matter of grabbing the remaining Virtuals, some more Multi’s, some interesting ones, and the ones as I pass.
As I was out chasing multi’s I saw this one and thought why not as it looks interesting. I parked up and wondered over, the hint had me a little confused. I searched and searched and then thought outside the box and then the hint came back to me. Oh this is different and yes outside the box was what I should have been thinking. Just the same a nice hide
I signed the log and returned all as found. Thanks so much for the cache and the fun hide.

Had to rethink this one. Rechecked coordinates which made it easier to find. TFTC!
Have no idea where it is! We have looked high and low and all through the garden beds. Wondering if gardener found it
Tftc, after 2 previous failed attempts, doing it with some daylight helped. Find #5 for the day with lilbassgirl.
Tftc, found with fourtwelve after multiple attempts (mostly at night) but today decided to come during daylight hours. We were close all along.

Heading south & homeward after a couple of fun days in N E Vic with our caching companions Suscoe, we had time for a detour thru' Broadford.
Our last stop, this sneaky hide took us longer than it should have, to find a cache in good condition, waiting to be found. Should have followed the GPS and not be distracted by other likely hiding spots.
Thanks to Team Boomajarril for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Out with the grand baby’s at the park and took the opportunity to find this cache found it faster than I thought while I sat and took a rest from grand parent duties thanks for placing this cache
This had us stumped for a while. But after reading the hint and a few logs, we uncovered the sneaky blighter.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Team Boomajarril

OzHockeyChick had to visit Wallan so she swung by my place on the way and we headed up. After stopping in at Wallan, I suggested we continue on to Kilmore to get a few caches.
This one took a few minutes to find. After looking in a few spots I read out one of the logs aloud and OzHockeyChick changed places and made a quick find.
Thanks Team Boomajarril for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

Over from WA and on our way to Nagambie for the National Rowing Comp. Came here to meet up with friends and their geodog from Vic and have a picnic. Tftc.
Find #2743 for me. Found at 9:31am with my 9yo daughter and our dog Bonnie while on our way to the CITO in Doreen. When we left Bendigo the weather was fine, but by the time we got to Kilmore, a light drizzle had settled in. I was tempted to drive by, but decided that the rain was light enough for a short stop at least. I found the sneaky hide after a couple of minutes, helped by the hint. Thanks for the fun and the cache Team Boomajarril!
My 5yo had lots of questions.
Who was he?
Who did he fight?
Did he die then turn into a statue?
Who built the statue?
The cache however, was found with the generous help of the hint. Would have spent a lot longer here if not for it. Thanks!

Tftc, made the find here , plenty of muggles about but they were not interested in us, managed to be unobserved.
We are staying at a place not far from Kilmore to enjoy a quiet change of scenery to the busy action of Geelong. It was warming up so we decided on an early start to head to Kilmore and have a look around the place. We enjoyed a walk around the main street and then noticed a cache not far from where we had parked. The difficulty rating originally had us thinking but after a quick search the little cache was located. The new logbook was signed and returned appropriately. Thanks for the hide Team Boomajarril
Replaced the log with a dry one for this sneaky little needle in a hay stack!
Bit of a needle in a haystack with GPS a bit vague today. Despite that, cache was found but could not write on as it was complete mush. Thanks anyway

A quick find as I made my way to the Mega event in Wangaratta.
Unfortunately the cache was wet and log sheet was just short of being paper mache, and has swollen making extraction impossible without a tool. I did manage to get my name on the log, but it requires replacement and possibly a waterproof container for this location.
Thanks Team Boomajarril
