Well, that was long time coming. Solved together with baby&Mrs gopher on our last visit. First cache of the day was to grab this one, we packed up all the TOTT's off we went. We soon spied the container, up we went, stamped the log, Mrs gopher added a new log. Thanks to CO for making brains work overtime and remove some of the grey matter.
TFTC,Solved a long time ago in a group throwing idea's around. In the area and found with baby&Mrs gopher.Visited trackables and added a favourite.
13832 Located by baby&Mrs gopher in company with Nana Nel and Wazza9. We had found the answer to the cache Up There for Fun. The CO had been contacted to verify the location. As the answer had been found quite a while back it was a case of now wait to get together again. Out with the TOTT and SL Tnx Konie. A FP from us.
This one had been on my solved list for a number of years but with health and covid it had been a long time between visits to Wagga, however we did throw the ladder in today before we left and it sure coms in handy to grab this sneaky one. Have been to this area once or twice before, no one about made for a quick retrieval. Thanks for the puzzle and cache! A good challenge. Cheers
Quick retrieval with the required TOTT at gz. A few high terrain climbs today with MrsHaveanez. Tftc konie
After borrowing a TOTT from Roostaman I headed out to clean up some higher T rated caches. I had solved this a while back but realised assistance would be required to reach it, my borrowed TOTT made this relatively easy noting my fondness of heights. Nicely done TFTC
Solved by a JAMS member. The track in to wet for mogni's car, so a long ladder carry ( again ). quick find at gz.Found with Mogni. Myself and mogni are headed off to canberra on the " I missed the Capital GeoBash Mega " holiday, since last minute family problems came in to play and we had to adjust our plans by a few weeks. On the way over we targeted multi's, wherigo's and puzzles to make sure we had 25 in each or at least close to that total ( or more ) as possible, getting as many new New South Wales LGA's as possible, the 17th most favourite point NSW cache and every cache size in New South Wales. In the ACT it was getting 2 of the 5 oldest letterboxes, oldest wherigo in Australia, 2nd oldest earthcache ( with a side trip to get the oldest earthcache of course ), and ACT oldest cache too. I also hosted a CITO and planned on getting every different cache type i could and eevry different cache size as well. I also needed 9 more virtuals this trip to get my virtual count over 100. Finally canberra was far enough away from from house to complete the well aged well travelled cacher 0 to 1000 kms with a cache every 10 km's ( i only need 7 more caches to complete )Leaving the ACT it was going via Victoria to get there last active web cam cache and slowly getting a total of 20 finds in each LGA i passed through if i had enough time plus also hosting a CITO in Victoria as well. A busy 11 days. Trust me by the end of the holiday you would have thought the 6 meter ladder weighed more than 13 kg's to amount of times it was used or carried up hills or over creeks. If your cache was found with a broken container/lid it was replaced or if the log was full it was replaced or a extra log if the container was big enough ( except for nano's, do your own maintenance on nano's.
Day 2 of mogni and sir_spectre visit the ACT. Today was a much more relaxing day, only travelled from Wagga Wagga Yass. We found abut 40 caches and 16 ad labs. Today we targetted some caches to help with challenges and high D and/or T. Lots of cache guardians were seen, the bulls made me the most nervous. Any caches that needed some attention got it.Thanks to Konie from mogni
Im on a road trip from Adelaide to Canberra to attend the capital mega event. Its a long way so of course I stopped off several times to grab a cache here and there. I had an overnight stay in Wagga Wagga so I grabbed a few caches in the morning before continuing onto Canberra. The puzzle was solved at home while planning the trip. A good D/T combo so I made sure to have a go at this one. My little 2wd car has taken me places where a responsible driver would not dare to drive. This was one of those places. Thank goodness it was dry. Lots of pot holes and wheel ruts around. I managed to drive right up to GZ - my TOTT is too heavy to carry. It didnt take too long before I spotted the cache so the TOTT was deployed and the cache was signed. Someone has dropped a muffler and full exhaust pipe near gz. A favourite point from me. Thank you Konie, for placing Up There for Fun! for the geocaching community.# # #14272 # #
We had long-looked at this puzzle and had solved it in 2020 while we were living in Brisbane during one of our lockdown periods. That seems like such a long time ago. Today we are driving from Canberra to Albury and we decided to take a detour to Wagga and have a brief look around. This area is quite beautiful and very interesting and we will definitely come back here. At the reserve today, lots of people were taking advantage of the water given it is a weekend and also so hot. Kayaks and fishing seem to be the go, with people also swimming. We found the Hide, but given we were also pulling our camper trailer, and the roads were a little rough, we decided to carry our TOTT in two GZ. Thanks Konie. Great to see this little hide surviving so well. An awesome puzzle too. Domsky
A loose plan was hatched for a 3-week road trip with RoamingHowie to explore locations in Country NSW wed not been to before and of course, find a cache here and there.DAY EIGHTEEN: After a few nights camped at Oura beach, it was time to move on, heading south. Solved this puzzle weeks ago. With no checker, I was unsure if correct but the coords looked plausible so figured it was worth a look. Thankfully on arrival, a perfect host presented itself, and RoamingHowie spotted the cache within seconds. He retrieved the (buried) TOTT from the geovehicle, and I went up for the honours of signing the log. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Konie ~~
It was time for the traditional post Christmas road trip. The stockings were emptied of presents, feasts were devoured and great times were had with family and friends. Now to get away!Day 18: Time to leave Wagga Wagga and head further south to Albury. Lots to do today along the way. This was a good DT combo so we decided to give it a go. Not sure what access would be like, we managed to find a way to drive all the way to GZ and fortunately our TOTT was just enough to reach. Winning! Thanks Konie for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. The [Farewell Ballarat GeoTour Event - GCAFQ8B](https://coord.info/GCAFQ8B) is on 18 February 2024.Looking for caches to find when visiting Victoria? This one’s been on the to do list for a while but needed team work to get it done TFTH
Did we ever need a 4WD. The floods have not been kind to this area. Muggle65 kind of pooped himself as l drove to GZ. But it was all good. The ladder ended up dirtier than the Patrol. Thank you for the awesome fun ??
Flood has ravaged this area & as ?????? drove us to GZ I did not enjoy the ride ??????. I even managed to con The Green Geckos to climb the ladder amongst all the muck.
Found on a bumpy drive around the area.
Lots of puddles and muddy tracks here.
Nice safe hide here. And a nice D/T as well.
Thanks for the cache Konie.

This is a tricky puzzle that took a lot of concentration and time. But during the covid lockdowns we had plenty of the latter.
Today as we head homewards to Qld from Melbourne we swung by here to find this cache. And we have onboard our TOTT to assist.
We wondered if we’d be able to get through after all the recent flooding but luckily the roads are open again (tho’ full of pot-holes). We passed road-repair gangs on some of the roads into town, so they are working on them.
Anyway, now to your cache… it survived! Yay! We found it high and (almost) dry. We let the log dry a bit in the sun and then had no trouble signing it.
Thank you for the puzzle and fun cache konie.

Away for a few days in the Wagga area, with Snap Happy, Happy pants and The Empire. We hits some of the trails and weaving our way around, picking up some of the many hides, which we haven't got previously.
We had a lovely day taking in some interesting places and river views and finding some great hide. A bonus of extra eyes, is there wasn't too many DNF's but much fun a laughs along the way. Logs stamped or sighned as Happy Empire.
This was a solved puzzle on our list, especially with the TOTT needed. The Empire made quick work of the retrival, so it could be signed.
Thanks Konie for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

**Found whilst in Wagga for a couple of nights**
Out and about with Happy Pants, The Empire and Happy Feet after we managed to organize a couple of nights away.
It was great to be back in Wagga. First time I have visited since I served here in the late '80s. It certainly has changed
Another early morning coffee and fuel stop before heading out to clean up some of the many local caches. A good time had by all with memories made and laughs had.
Thanks for the cache Konie and for highlighting the area. Appreciate your efforts.

Found this morning while tackling a few caches out this side of town. Found as part of the the crew while letting our gps be our tour guide. Found this one after a short search and retrieval. Thanks Konie for the hide and fun!
Found by The Empire with Snap Happy, Happy Pants & Happy Feet.
We were with 'The Crew' in Wagga Wagga for a few days of caching fun! The trails were yesterday, today we were cruising around town, picking up some cool caches and completing Adventure Labs.
This is one that had been on the solved pile for quite some time! Easy grab with a TOTT. Signing caches with either a stamp, multiple stamps, hand written names or 'The Crew'. Thanks for the cache Konie.

I Solved this one the middle of last year after my son relocated up to Young, figuring I would be visiting him at some stage once lockdowns lifted, so today after the Mega travelling up I stoppped of here for a relatively quick find and sign.
A thank you to Konie for teh puzzle and the hide

Day 3 of the Mega road trip with PPE saw us grabbing a few caches before access to the Mega logbook at 9am and then heading for home, collecting some more caches and an LGA along the way.
One that has been in my solved pile for way too long. Needed to deploy 4wd mode to get close to GZ. Deployed our TOTT, looked, back down, head scratch. Needed a PAF who confirmed container had lost elevation. After signing the log, we returned it a little closer to its rating.

After doing the 4WD course in the area in DB1, we stopped collect this. After a couple of unsuccessful ascents we paf'd and straight away spotted some low hanging fruit.
The branch had been broken so we repositioned to reflect the terrain rating.
Great cache and a great way to finish up b4 returning back to Sydney after the Mega.

Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 22. After three weeks in Adelaide and South Australia, the time has come to head home. Today's travel was from Hay to Canberra via Narrandera, Wagga and Gundagai. It was pretty much a straight run home, but I did stop in Wagga for two tree climbs and Gundagai for the Labs there. It is always nice to come home.
The reserve was dry enough to get over to the cache tree, and soon spied. Then it just a matter of getting the right tool out and retrieving the cache to log.
Thanks for the cache Konie

Found at 2:00 PM GAFF1 in the company of DiMorgan.
A nice drive along the tracks pushing cattle out of the way in one spot. Got to GZ and started looking, but we couldn't find anything, so p-pprass goes up to get a closer look, but still nothing and then Bill from DiMorgn says I see it! p-pprass then had to come down a few steps and then risk life and limb to head out to get the little bison tube [B)] Has this tree grown a few metres since it was placed 4 years ago, because holy moly that was tough to get to [B)]
Well that was a wonderful find as it fills a very rare spot in our D/T grid.
Thanks Konie.

Wagga . Travelling with pprass
We have set up camp at the Drovers Rest. So many AL & very hard puzzles to be solved. Many still unsolved waiting for our next trip for the grey matter to kick in.
After lunch the guys headed out on their bikes to find a few caches not far from where we were staying.
Thought we were going to have a DNF with pprass up the ladder, hubby spotted it from below & would not take his eye off it untill pprass was able to manouver himself towards it.
Thankyou Konie for placing this cache.

Chooo ooo [found] with dty73! We had planned to come here for the weekend as there were two Celebration events on! Sadly they were cancelled, but we decided to come anyway! Nice quick and a little fun find here. Thanks Konie!
Came to Wagga Wagga with Tankengine initially to attend an event or two, but due to unforeseen circumstances the events were cancelled. But we thought why not come anyway, there are so many caches here we have to pick up and there will be plenty more the next time we come back when the events are live again.
This cache: I was just a passenger on this one. But happy to be a helper at GZ and have my name in the log. I quite like the spot at GZ. Tftc Konie!!!

Caching on with ilook4geo into new territory for this trip. This one was an easier find than some. Had the necessary TOTT and had no problem in finding the container. The log was soon signed and the cache was put back as it had been found. Thank you to Konie for adding this cache to the game.
Doing some more caching with goingplaces2 and enjoying the day. Cache found, log signed. TFTC.
Found on a trip around central New South Wales with e.gregory1. Our original plans were to travel through Bourke, Cunamulla and Toowoomba to attend the Dayboro event in Queensland and return via Port Macquarie and central NSW, but a series of events that included road closures due to flooding in southern inland Queensland, a covid outbreak in Brisbane and widespread storm damage and road closures along the north coast of NSW resulted in multiple changes of plans during the trip. As it eventuated our travels took us to central New South Wales, on a route from Broken Hill to Cobar, Nyngan, and Gunnedah from where we meandered southwards through some great scenery and historic towns that included Dunedoo, Wellington, Cowra and Yass. We then headed in a roughly westerly direction through to Temora, Wagga Wagga, Deniliquin and Swan Hill before making a final dash for home. All up we found a good mix of Traditionals, Puzzle Caches, Multicaches, Adventure Labs, Wherigos, Earthcaches, Letterbox Hybrids and Virtual Caches on a very entertaining and enjoyable trip. Thanks for the cache Konie!
Found during a week in the Riverina.

Found on a trip around inland NSW with FeatherWaite.
Our original intention was to attend the Mega event at Dayboro in Queensland, travelling up via Broken Hill, Bourke, Cunamulla and Toowoomba, then home via the NSW coast to Port Macquarie then on to Adelaide via central NSW. However, the Covid outbreak in Brisbane forced us to reconsider, particularly given that the Mega and associated events were within the area of concern and we may have had difficulty re-entering NSW to get home and then would have had to quarantine back in SA for 14 days.
The floods in the north and east of NSW also hampered our travel plans. But we were able to develop a new plan that took us on a very pleasant tour around country NSW, picking up some interesting caches along the way.
Thanks Konie for the puzzle and the cache.

OCW the Bebes. After getting GZ coords we stopped by on our way to our Airbnb for the weekend. Took a little while to spot but once spotted the handy portable ladder helped a lot. Tftc
A two man team effort to locate, find and retrieve this one. The brains behind this interesting cache project was Geo-Buddy, Mystic Seer, without her help, this one would not have been worked out to the final GZ. Locating this micro one thing, retrieving it, quite to other. Geo-Rabbit had to hop quite high and even had to think on top of the geo-mobile to have CIH. Signing duties done CIW Mystic Seer. Weekend away with fitzy_1965, Albida33, nibletricecakes, GLISS! and cosmonaut97.
Sunday saw us all up early to finish off most of the bMg trail before heading East for a bit more 4wding to some older caches and then on our separate ways.
Trail finished, Mt Livingston finished.....time to say goodbye to the others and make our way home.....caching along the way of course!
All caches were found quickly and in good condition.....last one for the day....now that the area is open again we grabbed Sally (TOTT) and lugged her to GZ as there is still no car access. Surprisingly I spotted the cache just as fitzy was about to head up the tree for a look. Repositioned Sally and fitzy managed to grab the cache, sign and return. Thanks Konie.

21,385. Found during a meander around The Rock/Wagga region.
A group of us from Canberra and Goulburn were at The Rock for a fun weekends caching around the area. This afternoon we all went our separate ways, and minniek and I targeted a few caches we missed on our last visit. This was one of them. Last time the area was closed off due to works. Now that the area is open we walked in with our TOTT, and once at GZ the searching started. minniek spotted the little sucker, and with some teamwork the TOTT was placed and up I went for the find. Awesome to knock this nice puzzle and great D/T cache off.

Yeehaa, what a day, some achievements made today. I have now found 1000 cache, on the eve of the birthday of when I began caching in Townsville in 2017. It was also the final one needed to get the souvenir for the 3,2,1 Go, challenge. It also added another D/T rating to my chart. Mmm, just a few extra awards today by getting this cache. Thanks very much.
Upon solving the puzzle some time ago my usual Geo Chauffer and @AngusnMummy headed out to collect this cache. After spotting it, out come the TOTT and I venture up, and up, and up, my knees were knocking and the tools were shaking badly, because of me, LOL. Finally making it there, I recovered the cache and put in our John Hancock. It was then replacing in its original hiddie hole and some proof was taken that I really did do it. Then the long tortuous task of returning to the Geo Mobile took place.
Thanks, Konie for placing the cache and The Drovers for maintaining it. Lil Donna

I was passing and saw a solved puzzle on my map. Not having much time on my hands I drove on past only to think that I don't come to Wagga very often so I would have a look for a 4/5. Got to GZ, but with no ladder I backed the car up and climbed on the roof to get up. I spotted the cache and retrieved the log, but putting it back wasn't possible without committing more weight and the car was right under me. DBO moved the car out of the way and I edged out and replaced the log. Phew!

We decided to do a maintenance check on this cache, while out for a drive in the area.
Unfortunately, someone needed the tree for wood more than Konie needed it for his cache.
The tree has been completely cut down, and the cache container gone.
We will contact the CO, for further instructions.

The tree has been completely cut down, and the cache container gone.
We will contact the CO, for further instructions.
We have had some puzzles solved but that one thing and collecting another. We sort the week end in Wagga and arrived at this very early Saturday morning. Still dark, we couldn't spot the cache in the most obvious option there and thought that with the Event today we would get a chance and enquire and get a bit of information. Well!!! Now we know why.
Arrived back and spotted it straight away.
Once again harnessed up and the rest is academic.

We are passing through Wagga Wagga on our way from Adelaide to Queensland to pick up a new caravan.
We had two targets here. This is one. The puzzle is one we recognised and so we had a good set of coordinates. We saw that it had been replaced lately.
And today is the 4th of July which seems like an apt day to collect it.
We had the LC200 with us so no problems approaching GZ.
At GZ I looked in the larger location without success but then repositioned and spotted the prize. Hanging on very carefully I added our name to the log. All replaced as found.
Time to move on again.

TFTC. We had looked at this one last year but put it to one side. We were not good puzzlers then. This year being stuck in Wagga for a number of weeks we made the effort. We had recognised the code and set about solving it one line at a time. After not too long we had a set of co-ords. Driving past we called in to have a look. Nothing. We spoke to a previous finder and he pointed something out. Driving past again we called in. Again examining the area. Even got up the TOTT.
We contacted the CO and The Drovers, who maintain the cache. They agreed to meet atGZ. A quick look and they agreed it was missing. A replacement was quickly produced and after signing the log, was placed.
Thank you The Drovers and Konie.

We were having a really bad day. 3 attempts at some caches that have not been found for some time for 3 dnfs. We had been here a few times and a previous finder confirmed that we were searching in the right place. Looked up and saw nothing . Used our TOTT for a better look, still nothing.
We had two sets of eyes looking.
We had two sets of eyes looking.
This trip we had our TOTT so checked around for a few possible targets. Having had a solve for this one a while back we headed over. The recent rains meant a balance up of a walk with the TOTT or getting bogged. Needless to say we had lots of other caches planned so a walk it was. A scout around the hide was soon spotted so up we went and completed the signing duties. TFTC
Reperio at 1150. Found with the_garbagman and Mighty Minions.
As we headed for home today after attending the Alexandra mega event, we decided to make a little detour through Wagga Wagga for a couple of sought after puzzles. I arrived at GZ just before the others, which gave me time to park the car in a suitable position to retrieve the cache. As I climbed up on top, I was greeted with a bit of an odd sighting...a pair of socks! Holy crap! It was then that I realised I had put my socks up on the roof to dry...two days ago...while at the event in Alexandra!!! Somehow they managed to cling on to the roof for over 400kms. Well...they're dry!
As the others arrived, we were able to retrieve the cache without too much fuss, and then it was off to my last cache find for our trip. Great little puzzle, and definitely a fun GZ.
Gratias Konie.

I got a lot of help from friends to solve this puzzle and on the way home from the mega event at Alexandra, the garbageman and I met Marcus Vitruvius . The cache was easily spotted at GZ and then the log signing duties happened . Thanks for the cache Konie tnln sl
The long journey home today in company with Mighty Minions and MV from the AX2017 event, but despite the drive ahead of us we still found time to pick out a few ‘special’ caches of interest.
This cache has been on my list for a long time due to the D:T combo on offer. It’s fairly rare so I was definitely interested in coming to check it out.
I’d started the solve a while back and abandoned it - despite identifying the cipher I couldn’t decode it online and manually was back-breaking work. Eventually though I toughed it out and things became clearer.
We all enjoyed GZ once we identified the right structure. Fortunately we had a perfectly suited TOTT so it was really only a step and a hug and then cache in hand.
A fun experience. TNLN TFTC

After a nights rest, the team of DAB, Na'wal and The_Tritonz (DNT) headed out once again to collect some smiley faces. Another great mix of caches were in store for us. Utilising all of our skills we had a very successful day. Once again thanks to the CO's, much appreciated. TFTC Konie
After a late night and some noisy sleeping conditions at our accommodation, DAB, the Tritonz and myself were up at the crack of dawn for a big day of caching (signing our logs as the DNT). This puzzle gave us a lot of trouble before a discovery was made. Thankfully we had a ladder in the car with us from the previous day and we made quick work of this one after looking elsewhere first. Up I went to sign the log and replace as found with a few cattle around us looking on.
**Thanks for placing this puzzle cache Konie for us to find**

After leaving our camp at the local caravan park we headed off to pick up some solved puzzles in the dark of night in the company of DAB and Na'wal.
We might have looked in the wrong tree initially but once we were looking in the correct direction we set up our TOTT and had the cache in hand.
Thanks Konie for the great placement for us and others to enjoy.

After two very long weeks at work and other commitments on the to-do-list, I decided to get away and do some caching. I decided to clean up as much as I could of north Wagga today on the long weekend. Thanks to all CO’s for the fun and for the caches I found today. Sorry to all cache owners if I put 2/9/17 instead of 2/10/17.
Wow! This one was certainly a challenge both with the puzzle and the cache retrieval. Lets start with the puzzle it had lots of challenges starting with what code it is. After a small, accidental hint given to me by a fellow Geocacher at a recent event, I was soon on my way to solving the encrypted code. After hours of trial and error, I finally had cracked the code except one word. However, it turns out that I didn't that word at all as I had all the important information. Today, after having a first for a KFC lunch (no salt on the chips, who knew that was possible), I made my way to GZ of this cache. I am being completely honest (whether you believe me or not) when I say, that I didn't use any TOTT to retrieve this cache. Yes, it is very difficult but still possible without the TOTT. While there, I made my mark and soon had the cache replaced and then the descent which was equally as hard as the climb up. After that I decided to clean myself up nearby. Thanks Konie for teaching me a new code and for the difficult physical challenge which was exactly what I needed on a day like today. FP Given.
P.S. This is another D/T spot filled.

With a relatively free weekend at last a plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to go and collect some unfinished multi and solved puzzles along with some new caches in Wagga Wagga.
It was a rather eventful weekend with a close encounter of the brown slithery kind, not a very happy either as I think we woke it from its winter slumber, friendly cows, good and not so good weather and the opportunity for the inner monkey to show itself again on a few occasions.
After a good nights sleep it was time to search for some more caches.
Nice puzzle for the grey matter and GZ for the nerves of steal as it was a little windy.
TFTC Konie and thanks for a fun weekend Rapidlywild.

FurfacesLL and myself had decided on a trip away for some much earned stress relieving geocaching. We had planned on doing a day trip across to Wagga Wagga however once we had a look at how many caches we had left to find, changed our plans to an overnighter instead.
We had a large number of multi's to collect that we had picked up GZ information from on prior trips and we had some solved puzzles to collect that we had solved. A nice range of caches across the weekend, did alot of in field maintenance work for CO's by adding new clean/dry/crisp logs to containers in new zip lock bags just to help out.
A great weekend had by us both with a mix of caches, mix of weather and an extremely close brown snake encounter (too close for comfort).
Thanks heaps to FurfacesLL for another awesome weekend away, and thanks Konie for the cache placement [^] WOW..... nice and challenging, both puzzle and GZ.

We come to Wagga to catch up with The Drovers and as they were busy today we thought that it was a good opportunity to do a few local caches and needless to say seeing that we know the CO we wanted to try this one.
We have to say that we worked on this puzzle for quite awhile before offering it out to our little puzzle solving group in Melbourne. Even then it was another week before the answer was revealed and for us it is the first of this type that we have seen in Melbourne.
As we got close to gz we both commented on how we wouldn't like to be here after a decent rain even in the land cruiser. fortunately it was relatively dry today. We had what we thought we would need for the retrieval and it proved to be a little in adequate so a little bit of innovation came into play and we were soon adding our name to the log, happy to know that there weren't any work cover officers to be seen.
Many thanks Konie, a favourite point from us as we have learnt a new type of puzzle.

**# 16380** Found on return from our 2017 escape to Vic trip.
Another fine autumn day for a drive around town with lgoody.
After solving it with Fred while we were away it had to wait for our return for the find.
There has been some muggle activity at GZ but the cache is still safe in situ.
Thanks for the cache Konie,

We worked on this puzzle at home before our road trip south when we were high in patience and time. No problems knowing how to do it but as the only method we could find was manually, it wasn't quick. Apart from getting a bit cross eyed from studying it, it was quite a satisfying puzzle.
In our short stay in Wagga this was high on the list of caches to search for and it was our first stop this morning. It didn't take long before we found it and had our name in the log. TFTC Konie.

Found during a Wagga Wagga road trip with AG27, FIJ, TikvaNZ.
After collecting Wagga by Numbers, we drove to this one. TikvaNZ navigated us straight to the cache. Fox in Jox made the climb again and... no cache! Oh oh. What's going on. I citcled the tree, assuming that it had to be up there. Meanwhile TikvaNZ actually looked at his GPSr, and realised that we were looking up the wrong tree! He saw the cache up a different tree, and the Fox was up there in a flash. If the Avengers are missing one of their number, I think I know where he is. Or the Justice League, perhaps.
The puzzle had me going for ages. I still have my working, and it shows a wide range of ideas, tried and discarded. In the end it was Fox in Jox who found the way in, and nudged me in the right direction. After that there was still plenty of work to do, but I was able to work through it at a steady pace. That's a new one for me.
Thx again Konie for the puzzle and cache. XN SL TFTC!

On another D/T mission with ZQX, TikvaNZ and Fox in Jox to the Wagga Wagga area, this time a day trip. It was an early start from CBR, but also a relatively early return, so we had to be efficient in our finding of caches. It was another great day with some very fine geocachers, who I am happy to also call friends! I found 10 for the day, but also there were quite a few DNFs sadly. Thanks to all the COs for their caches which challenged us today in one way or another.
Second fine of the day at 0900 after our tool of the trade (an invasive species Fox) decided to forego a ladder and make the climb unassisted. Well actually two climbs, as the first one was not quite on the coords. After TikvaNZ and I realised this, it was a quick spot and another climb. For the puzzle, I needed a hint as I was working to finish this one and several others last night. Even with the hint, it was a bit ambiguous but I managed to make sense of it by a little bit of reverse engineering. TFTC!

A great day-trip to Wagga with AngelG27, TikvaNZ and ZQX to collect a number of high D/T puzzles, trads and multis. Returned with a good number of smileys, but also had a few DNFs along the way. We'll be back to address those!!
Now I really enjoyed this puzzle. I'd seen this method before (or was it just in a site devoted to methods?). Anyway, it started revealing good info, then I combined with ZQX to get the full data sorted. It certainly had some ambiguity, which, for me, added to the challenge.
At GZ (well, close-ish) I zoomed up a tree, only to discover it wasn't quite actually GZ. While the ladder was called for, it became redundant. With the first step assistance from TikvaNZ, I managed to secure the container for signing. TFTC Konie. A fun cache all round. A favourite.

The second find on a day's caching trip to Wagga Wagga from Canberra with with AngelG27, ZQX and Fox in Jox. I began solving this prior to the trip, thanks to a hint from ZQX, but ran out of time to complete before the trip. It was harder than expected due to the ambiguities. At GZ, we searched the 'obvious' location without success, then widened the search area and spotted the cache. Fox in Jox soon had the cache in hand with a leg up. TFTC.

We were getting nowhere with this puzzle until Roostaman, who is currently in Albury, figured out what kind of code it was. After a marathon telephone decoding session with Roostaman we finally had the coordinates in hand but it was too late to attempt a find so we waited until daylight.
We ventured out to GZ this morning with the required equipment and after a short search the elusive micro was in hand.
FTF at 0700.

Konie came down to stay with us for a few days, and placed a cache in the area.
As we are responsible for maintaining the cache, we beta tested it, and placed our name in the log.
The puzzle was clever, and it took us a while to solve it. The hide was a little sneaky, but with the right TOTT, cache was soon in hand.
Well worth a favourite point from us.
Now that FTF has been claimed, we are logging our find.
Many thanks to Konie, for placing this cache, for us and others to find.
