Day 4 of the road trip. End goal in sight today, This was my cuppa and cake stop today. Nice easy find here thanks.
I stopped here for a short break on the drive from Canberra to Melbourne - travelling alone is so boring!! The place was fairly empty and that made the search easier. Thanks for adding this one here!
No pen, but left a sachet (.yes.fully intact) as evidence. Also staged pencil and bottle.
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. B.Ro
Stopped by to have lunch, found the cache then a bus load of kids pulled up so we decided to move onto the next stop.TFTC
A quick stop on the way home. Cache is nice and safe in its hide. Thanks Robmc for placing a nice easy cache here. I just needed to stretch my legs but no time for a lengthy search today
Quick find on the way down south. The cache and logbook are dry. SL TNLN TFTH TFTC Replaced cache as found ready for the next cacher.
Heading south with plenty of time to spare I decided to, where convenient, stop at rest areas to ascertain if any caches were there. Yes there was and yes I found it. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache which gives us geocachers a reason to break our journeys.
Heading south and back from the Fish Attack event, we stopped here. Shortly before we spotted a lot of police that had pulled over a van just north of the Glenrowan overpass and they had shut down the entire freeway and northbound traffic was all being sent a different way. Just another caching adventure hey?
After the week in Bright it was time to head home to Melbourne... via a longer than normal route so I could find caches in the Greater Shepparton and Campaspe LGAs... the things you do when you get bitten by the "challenges bug"... I needed a quick stop to stretch my legs and straighten my back... so this rest stop was perfect as it had a cache that I hadn't looked for before. Thanks **Robmc** for providing a great excuse to "break the drive".
It's much more difficult to find when the compass isn't working. Got there in the end. TFTC
Day 130 of our greynomad trip up north from Vic which started in June, and day 129 of a streak. With QOGM done and dusted for it's final year we are heading the caravan towards home. We have ticked off the targeted LGA's and 360 degree sector from home. Ahhh, the games we find to play within the game TFTC TB's visited
Find number 12554 at 9:05:20 am on Wednesday the 27 September 2023Departed Melbourne many weeks ago now and have been travelling north for the winter, well, for the northern warmth actually (hopefully ), passing through as many small towns as I can grabbing the odd cache here and there as I travel. Finally made the northern warmth and the Cape and we have loved every minute of it now we are on our way home again and having many more adventures as we slowly travel south, sadly, now we are travelling quickly to be home today to go out for dinner for my god-daughters birthday.Today, we travelled from Wodonga to HOME, almost 3 months since we left, always grabbing a few geocaches along the way.A quick find and back on the road...**Thanks for placing this cache Robmc**---If you are looking for some new caches to find, explore the nominees for the 2022 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards. The Nominations Geocaching List is available [here](https://coord.info/BMC8QYR)!Voting is also now open for the 2022 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards. Ballarat Geo-Tour Trip
Day #1 of 4 (15/9)
What a trip! 10 hours of travel while finding the occasion Geocache along the way. Before you ask, yes I did plan a trail which included 12 caches. These caches focused on collecting as many LGA’s as I could. I also made sure to find: GC7A, because I have never found a cache that was hidden in 2000 before. All caches were quick finds and were fun. When I got into Ballarat I found a letterbox cache near my motel before getting dinner. TB visit. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches of the caches I found today and for allowing them to bring me and others enjoyment. TFTC’s
While traveling south to Ballarat, I stopped off here to find this cache. A nice quick find at GZ and now off to the next one.

Thanks for this cache that we had fun finding.
We were at Rutherglen for the Easter weekend attending the MEGA event. This was our last morning and we were driving back to Melbourne to fly home to Brisbane.
We noticed this rest stop and thought it looked like a good spot to clean some of the mud off our car. Whilst we were here, what do you know, there was a cache to find as well.
This really didn’t take long to locate, and the log book was good inside its plastic protection. Log book was signed as Team NAG.
Thanks very much for creating and maintaining this traditional cache Robmc. Cheers

Last cache for the day, to make 240 finds.
Really nice place to stop and break up the drive, but why are people such pigs? Rubbish everywhere and I could see 5 bins from where I was standing.

The OSHFAM clan including geo dog Roxy came up to Punkah for a few days to spend time in our shack before school starts next week. On Saturday lunchtime, I sent the family home and Roxy and I stayed on for an extra night on our own enjoying caching adventures. Today it was time to head home again, so after packing up, Roxy and I hit the road around lunchtime and didn't get home til 8pm caching our way all the way home.
I always stick to the main road when driving back home but today without whinging kids and hubby, I decided to venture out onto the backroads to grab a few caches and stop at all the unfound southbound caches along the highway.
Roxy and I made a quick find here. The cache and log was in good condition. We enjoyed the wall art here.
Thank you for the cache here Robmc

Coming back to melb from Albury today, stopped for some maccas and ate it here. Flys where a tad aggressive lol. Upon finding the gc I opened it and found a lithium battery which I propmtly threw out as it was cracking. And Is not really a safe thing to be hanging around. I dropped off a tb that needs to go to Adelaide. Tftc

Robmc!
A nice quick and easy park and grab great one for the kids with easy access to toilets and tables and chairs it was my first time using my new stamp and I stamped it upside down thank you for the cache
Heavily contemplated walking up the hill, however 8 hours into a 10 hour drive, I was starting to run on fumes. So nabbing both proved a stretch too far. Also, was making good time and couldn't bear to ruin said good time. This however proved a quick and easy find whilst stretching the old legs.
As a keen snow enthusiast for many of years, my visits to Mokoan rest area would possibly rival a trucker. So it's highly likely I'll be back, and will tackle that damn hill.
It's not even that steep of a hill, but after spending the day in a car, it started to look like Everest.

Finally got the chance to come back for this one! I came years ago but there were too many muggles to look for it. This time was muggle clear and an easy find! The pencil provided is broken though
We left Oxley this morning and bunny hopped our way up the highway stopping at all the rest stops to find the caches in them. Much nicer than just getting in the car and heading straight down the highway.
The cache is in good condition.

TFTC. Quick find be fore parting company with Aussie Fun Seakers. Signed and returned. Now on my way home.
Well the Mega is done and dusted and what a fantastic weekend it was.
So thanks Wangaratta for putting on such a great Mega and to all of the organisers a job well done.
It is now time to head towards home and as they say there is always time for one but in my case maybe a few more as I follow the Highway south.
I’m finally starting to head South again but another rest stop was calling that had a couple of green dots on my map.
I was able to find this one quickly and after climbing the hill and coming back down I spotted a couple of cachers heading here so I went over to say hello.
Nice to meet you Bowdenfamily
Thanks Robmc TFTC.
