Had a good poke around for ages, unfortunately not there for us today. Thanks anyway. The smell of fresh paint that has been washed off leads me to thinking it’s definitely gone.

Delivering our daughter to a friend's house in Waipu this afternoon gave us an excuse to search for a few caches on our way home. The first one on our hunt list for today and luckily the rain has stopped.

The GPS directed us to the correct picnic table but looking at the last found log we wondered what we would find. Both of us had a good look around the picnic table at GZ for several minutes but had no luck in spotting the cache. I suspect this cache has been muggled and will need to be replaced.

We needed to make the 2 hour drive from home to collect one of our sons from a camp nearby. We left home a couple of hours earlier than required so we could collect the finals for a geo-art nearby. As we left home it was raining, and it got heavier as we headed north,we drove through surface flooding and around a slip to get here, but as we approached the area the sky cleared and we remained dry for the duration of our search. Once we had collected our son we did a bit of a drive around to explore the area, found a dead end road here and then saw there was a cache nearby so just had to stop and find it. Our last cache for the day before the long drive home. Found with darthcacher1 and purply.

Headed up North with Jag50 and Merlot58 to stay in Pahi for the long weekend. We were at Marsden point, and headed up this way to find caches in the area. We'd been on the go for hours, and decided to find somewhere for lunch. Parked in the shade and picked the table closest to us, when we said 'wonder if there's a geocache here?' to which Mr Jag said no more until after lunch. Once lunch was ingested we looked at our GPS and sure enough we were practically on a cache. Mr Jag just put out his hand and had the cache in hand.

I was staying in Pahi with the Jags and Aiden29 for Easter so plans were made to collect as many caches as we could while we were up north. We stopped here for lunch then Mr Jag reached under for the cache

We decided to get way for Easter and stay in Pahi with Merlot58 and Aiden29. Mr Jag50 was getting hangry and insisted on no more caches till we had lunch first. During lunch Merlot checked her GPS and announced we were situated right on a cache. Mr Jag 50 did not even have to move but just reached out and there it was.

Our first full day in New Zealand. We packed up the rental car and headed north to get out of the big city and practice driving on the 'other' side of the road with less distractions. Stopped at rest areas, view points and other places to look around and try to find a cache. Enjoyed the day and the caches.

Our first full day in New Zealand. We headed north to get out of Auckland and let VikingNav get some much needed practice driving on the left. A little scary at times, but he is getting the hang of it again. We enjoyed our stops at rest areas, overviews, pull-offs, and beautiful parks/beaches along the way to have a look at the scenery and try to find a cache or two. Thanks for the fun cache! Greetings from Minnesota, USA. >^..^

Wasn't sure if it was the front or the back seat. Lucky no one was here, which meant we could take a quick peak under without looking suspicious. The trick is putting it back! TFTC.

Kept this on the watchlist from publication as I knew I'd be up north this weekend and with no logs after lunch, Mini McArgister & I took some My Little Pony toys for an adventure to Marsden Bay. Mini was keen to make sure we were first so suggested we find the geocache before playing on the playground. Too right we will missy! I sent her underneath and she spotted it straught away to her delight. We're we first though??? Hmmmm, maybe not?!? The log had a few names from earlier in the month. None since placement or publication though. A message to my ol' mate Riser5 confirmed it was an old log and we were FTF. WHOOP! A quick play with the Ponies in the playground before heading back to the bach and a celebratory biscuit. Great weather today. Hope it lasts for the long weekend! Thanks for the Anniversary cache!
