I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi Injeanious
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

The last time this was found was a year ago and with 6 DNFs since then. I added mine to the list.
The cache now has 7 DNFs over the past year with no action by the CO. Needs to be archived.
The closest I could get was a log, but I'm afraid the high tide has been higher recently.
Having a milestone birthday this weekend, my aim was 50 caches. That was too much for one day so the 50 finds were spread over the celebratory weekend, 1/2 on my way South and 1/2 on my way North.
This was not one of them. Just couldn’t seem to locate a place for a hide.

We are out for our last day in Kaikoura before heading home. A lovely walk on the beach here with stunning wave action. Found what we thought might be a good place to look. Mrs C felt something and wow it was the cache. Had two baby residents guarding the log so put them back close by and signed the log. Put back as found and enjoy this clever hide, so a fav from us. Thanks for this cache moolloo and Injeanious.
I stopped by to check on the cache and found the container but not the log book. A new log book has been added and the container replaced.
Found with Juju54, just plastic bag with log, Juju54 has put in a container to keep dry - TFTC
Searched all around here.and about to give up when Ken made the find! Was still only a log in a bag so have replaced it in a container! Very exciting to find it as it’s been a while . With Campmotherandken TFTC
Found with Kiwimykl while caching in Kaikoura, refer to his log for details.

Found with NZDi. We had a long weekend booked for last weekend, but Mrs Kiwimykl (aka NZDi) didn't feel that flash so we postponed it until this weekend. So Friday morning we packed the caravan (including MTBs) and headed south arriving at the campground about 10.45am. After setting up the caravan and heading up the road to our 'go to' bakery for a bite to eat we headed to the start of the Kowhai Cycle Trail for some cycle-caching.
Over the two days caching we manage to find 44 caches with only two DNFs, although we did manage to avenge three DNFs from a previous visit. Of the 44 finds, bumandworker was responsible for hiding 28 of them. Our logs were generally dated and signed with Kiwimykl and NZDi or KM + ND, or variations there of.
This was our seventeenth find of the day and was the first non-bumandworker find. It was also a previous DNF which we came to avenge. When we were here two months ago, we looked for this twice with no luck. Today we were back for another search. Initially we bypassed the obvious feature as we spent so much time on it on our previous visit, but after discarding any other possibility we returned to it. I was read to give up again, but NZDi can be like a Pit Bull if the mood takes her, and this was one of those times. I had sent a text off to a previous finder, when she said those magic two words 'Found it!' I sent another text to call of the assistance, who got back to me a few minutes later.
The cache was only a log in a plastic bag and was fairly well buried under the sand. Whether this was by nature or the previous finder, I can only speculate. I'm not sure if this was the intention of the CO but a couple of other caches by this CO's other name (mooloo) included a natural nautical cache container and I'm wondering now if this should be the same.
Anyway, glad to get this one of our backs.

NZDi and I had two looks for this today without any luck, bookmarking our find of 'Black Sands'. For some reason we concentrated on the obvious feature but the cache proved elusive and reading through previous logs didn't shed any light on the matter.
We probably spent a combined total of almost an hour on this before deciding our time could be better spent elsewhere.
Perhaps another time.

Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!

*We soon had another good cache located, now to the next one!*

Got to GZ then had to wait for a few muggles to disappear before grabbing the cache. Found a blank spot to sign our name then rehid as found. tftc
Great little cache, like I told my students who couldn’t find it “she’ll be right”
Cache was a quick find and I can’t believe how many people are camping here in their cars. None of them looked self contained
Yes it was really and good cache. Found with mr c on our travels from the UK thank you
Family holiday time...loaded up with bicycles to find some fun tracks. A couple nights Kaikoura, a couple in Blenheim & then finally a couple nights in Richmond.
Heading up to Kaikoura this morning - hot as today; ducked up this track to poke a stick at the beach and find this cache. Super hot today (31 degrees!) - sand very hot.....quick find of a cool cache. Cheers.

Oh what a change of weather since yesterday. A good day to ride the Kowai bike trails again and go find those geocaches that I DNF'd last time. But before I hit the trail I had to make a short diversion down to the beach to investigate what a really high tide had brought in. Nice quick find once the dog-walking muggle had moved away. TFTC
A quick find, but once I got here there were people all over the place hanging out, beachcombing for driftwood, walking dogs etc. Was like Grand Central Station compared to the serenity of the rest of the day. So got this on the way back from another cache, quick and quiet find. TFTC moolloo.
I was in Kaikoura today, and the weather is fine so a good chance to stretch the legs and get some fresh air.
I targeted a number of walks, some of which were quite short - the peninsular walk from South Bay, South Bay track, Cook track and Ludley Farm, Kowhai cycle trail, and a few other short ones into and along the beach south of the town.
Mostly all good. Replacement logs added when indicated. Didn’t come across many people at all on my travels today, so it was mostly just me, my headphones and my podcasts. Relaxing! 22 for the day, no DNFs that had not already been DNFed previously. Thanks all COs.

I was Kaikōura for the weekend, staying at Takahanga, and went to find a few before heading home/along the way. TFTC!!

Meanwhile this is my third geocaching-trip to Middle-Earth . And I love it! [:X]
Still there are routes and places in this beautiful country that are on the 'discover-me' list and want to be visited and explored. .
After a 3-days side-trip to New Caledonia I gladly returned to NZ , via AKL to the South-Island - Christchurch [^].
Day #19 was dedicated to picking up some caches / challenges / pre-solved mysteries around CHR-Airport and along the scenic ride up north to Kaikora .
Today, the day was my friend [^]! Not a single DNF !
Picked up quite some treasures - Just like this one:
The cute, amazing, unusual cache container put a big smile on my face !
Loved this awesome little cache at the beach! [:X]
Thanks to the owner [:X] for placing and maintaining this cache and best regards from Germany!

Enjoyed the wander to the beach and BP went straight to the cache hidey hole - and missed it! I took a look and spotted it. Quite ingenious, Injeanious!
We have been weaving and winding down and across mountains for many days now and we are counting down to "F" day, Flying day that is. What a wonderful country NZ is, we had a blast. A big, big thank you must go to all the brave people who maintain & repair these roads and to all the CO's who encouraged us to stop along the way.
Thanks for your cache Injeanious.

A quick easy find of a nicely hidden little cache, in the obvious location we expected. TFTC
While the boys ran wildly all over the place, I made my way to GZ and found the cache. TFTC.
We were heading home to Nelson from Christchurch and had spotted the favourite points for this cache. We do need a day or more in Kaikoura to turn it green but we had time for a few caches today and made this the first in the Kaikoura area. We were pleased to have a reasonably quick find and the appropriate container was not a total surprise.
Thanks.
Thanks.
A quick and easy find. Thanks
Having a wee break up in Kaikoura to see if we could change some blue faces to yellow. The weather was good for driving and caching. Those we found together were signed Ms+Mr KR.

Back again with much better luck than last time, and found it almost immediately.Sadly we also found a dead baby Seal in the tussock.TFTH
Mum had a Lion's function in Kaikoura so I came to keep her company on the drive. On the way home this morning we took some time to squeeze in some caches. When we arrived there was a woman trying to coerce her 2 little doggies into the car but they werent ready to leave and started to follow us. As they were completely ignoring their owner's plees we walked back to our car so they wouldnt follow us. As soon as we got to the car they realised that couldnt come for another walk and they retreated back to their owner. A quick find and a fun container. Adding a fav for the contaianer. Now its time we started moving more towards home. Thanks for the effort in placing and creating this cache for all of us to enjoy
#15846. A quick find, then we headed south along the beach to look for Black Sand. TFTC.
Day #2 of StreetWalker and my weekend in Kaikoura, and after a little bit of drizzle first thing, it turned into a lovely mild day.
The second or third cache we have found today using this type of hide . Quite appropriate here. TFTC.

Many thanks to all the COs who helped make our geocaching holiday a great success
We left home early April and returned 21 May 2018. We toured from our home base up to a wedding in North Taranaki then carried on heading south right down through wellington and on down the west coast and back up via the eastern side of the alps some times going around in circles. Our aim was to get as many smiley faces on the puzzle caches that we had solved but of course stopping for many traditionals, multies and others as we went. some time we biked the bike trails or walked but mostly by campervan. we enjoyed the quite back country roads, many of them were metal but we just travelled along slowly going from cache to cache. Most caches were in good condition and I will remark if we thought it needs maintence etc.

Called here this morning on the way towards Christchurch. Having found a couple of similar caches in the Kaikoura area a month or so ago, I guessed what I might be looking for and spotted the cache as I approached. Signed log, TFTC!
Out to find a few caches this morning while Ms M went out on the water to get our tea.
The GPS was playing up and I didn’t believe it, so I sat down and rebooted it.
Now instead of 52 metres it read 2! Now I believe that and there it was.
Cool container and a great hide.
A lovely day to look out over the ocean and the peninsula.

I had an idea what I'd be looking for when I headed to GZ and sure enough I spotted the hiding place when I got to the beach. Happily, I found the cache in the first place I looked, or felt, I should say. I love these little containers. Tftc.
I never attempted this cache when c=visiting late last year, though we arrived in the car park ready we never made the walk (not sure why). Toady Iheaded alone onto the beach and the cache was soon in hand. I do like these containers you have been using, very useful, and natural!

A first trip down the line in 2018 to Kaikoura and it's been opened and closed at different times for different reasons but finally the dodgy weather has abated, the slips have been repaired, and traffic can get back through to the beautiful small town of Kaikoura. We enjoy the drive, scenery, town and caches and the sushi that's available at the shop down by the bridge.
Todays visit was as satisfying as ever. We managed a straight 10 caches, grabbed a few TBs for the upcoming planet souvenir-fest, saw the massive uplifting of the lad at the Seal City, and even snagged a FTF on the return journey at Rakautara. There was a massive pod of around 70 dolphins cavorting in the sea and displaying their energetic fun nature which was an added bonus and a sunny day, not too hot, was enjoyed by all of us.

The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are on a 4 day exploration around Kaikoura. Our journey today takes us to Waikari and back. We are up early and move Zara to a sand pit to play with a dump truck and digger, while we run away with Toby.
A stop here while heading out of town for a walk along this lovely beach as the sun is waking up. Well, with the really high tides lately, this is half submurged with sand so its a sand dig here. And I dug in just the right place to make this a quick search. As we have done a couple of Moolloo caches this trip we had an idea what to look for here. It did not disappoint. Cheers

The cache is still there after last week's king tide so I think it'll be safe. Cool container. Thanks for placing

It's a four-day weekend!! Taybeedragon and I headed down to Kaikoura, that destination chosen mainly because I have some unfinished business down that way. And on top of that, like everyone else, we wanted to do some rubber-necking, to check out the changes in the route south. Apparently at least two more years work before the road is declared finished. Day three: rural caching.
Probably should not have bothered with stopping here, turning left to this cache instead of turning right to the hinterlands, but what the heck. Were here now. Must have been really high tide, the cache was completely buried. Found only when the dragon got ethusiastic and started shifting large amounts of sand. But this time she knew she had it once she found it! We now have the hang of these Moolloo caches!

Nice find! Bit too blustery for us to stick around today, but we enjoyed this cache very much. Thanks!
Up early so headed out for a couple of caches. First place I searched so soon had the log signed. TFTC
On our way home after a day out in Kaikoura. Had to leave before the road closed. FourSharpe needed a feed so while he was getting a good top up, Mr Sharpe found the cache. He'd found one like this already this week!! This one gets a favourite from us. Now the drive home. With a crying FourSharpe, we don't think he likes travelling much, oh no!
The cords took us to something at High Tide on the Beach..Hunted all around it but just couldn't spot anything like a Container..There has been a recent Bonfire at GZ..Maybe it needs checking on...Will watch with interest..
After finding several others like this we had a pretty good idea what to look for. TFTC
Time to head back, we grabbed this as we left town.
Took a moment for W to spot.
Thanks for the cache
