Came up empty on this one, with the cleared forest. Searched around a bit to see if just maybe I could find it, but came up empty.
Didn't manage to give this area a good search last time I was here as I had my toddler with me. This time, I had only my father in law Popmac, so could spend a bit more time to search. Thanks for the cache.
A nice walk in the forest before the rain arrived. Took a few minutes to find the cache today, but eventually located the cache. Thanks for the cache.
Just playing Possum,is one of our favourite Country Songs. So we were quite happy to find the little rascal,Playing Possum here..TFTH
GPS wouldn't settle so I ended up walking in circles. After reading earlier logs I started looking for possible hidey holes and then finally I spotted the cache. TFTC.

FINALLY a day with beautiful weather - so I couldn't stay trapped inside - so after load of washing number 4 was hung up on the line (no washing had been done since the last day with nice weather... ) I was off!! - However that washing did take almost the whole day!! So just a quick short walk it was.
These three caches here have been on my list since they were published - I think it was like the day after I'd cleared this part of bottle lake out!!
And I managed to find all three caches too even with the baby strapped to me! - Though I did realise in the rush of trying to go before dark, and transfering sleeping baby, that I managed to forget the pen! Eeeek! - Luckily there was a pencil in every cache! Phew!
This one took wayyy too long - I just didn't want to get too close to the tree with the baby strapped on my back for fear of hitting her head - once I got over that the cache was a quick find - duh!
TFTC!!

Found while on a trip out with the kids and dogs. Several "big" trees to choose from but found the right one without too much trouble. Took the trackable and will deposit up in Hamilton when we go.
I couldn't see the cache, but managed to get my hands on it. A nice wee hide. TB in and TB out Cheers
Not much planned for the weekend. Should have travelled to Hokitika or Kaikoura. Cleaned up a few caches around Christchurch instead.
Thanks to the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Chocochunk and I got off work early today and since the weather was splendid, we thought we'd take Truffles out for a romp through Bottle Lake. We biked on over to near GZ, left our bikes and found the likely spot. Truffles thought he spotted something and was barking and jumping around like crazy. Meanwhile we found the cache. Left the cool looking trackable. TFTC.
StreetWalker and I had made a start on the large multi "Tour de Forest" last month so we were keen to get the info for a few more WPs, and pick up some caches along the way.
It was really nice biking in the shade of the tall trees. Managed to overshoot GZ (biking too fast - ha ha), and had to backtrack a little to find the least thorny way to GZ. Another find by SW after a short search. No sign of the possum today, it must have been sleeping. Swapped TBs. TFTC.

#13933. Another cache where reception was dodgy, and there was blackberry to contend with. Before long I spotted a likely hiding place. The good camo made the cache hard to spot. TFTC.
Aptly titled and with a GPSr which did not want to settle!!! Found the hint very useful. Surprised how many other folk on the trail. Thanks.
Came out in the misty rain for a morning bikeride. Rather damp wot! Still a few people out and about dispute the weather. Random spot this...Had gz to myself and soon enough was making the find and sign. Cheers.
Nice hideyhole. Advantage of going after a few others is that the route can be seen. As I got to gz I saw where I thought I'd hide a cache and yes there it was. Hooray! Thanks!
No possums plenty of muggles walking their dogs. None around the cache site. TFTC
I had to come past here on the way back to the car, so after going to find the other new ones, I returned to have another look. Armed with some new information from the FTFer, I was able to find it. I was so close the first time - although sadly I would have missed out on the FTF regardless. Still, I am pleased to be leaving the forest with all of them found . TFTC (3413)
GPS just wouldn't settle, I managed once to get it down to 0m... but with 24m accuracy... so I searched most places I could get to up to about 30m... plenty of thorns... but no cache...
I awoke to discover that 3 caches had been published overnight. So that decided where I was going to go MTBing later in the morning. Riding out from Spencer Park this was the last of those 3 caches and I knew I could possibly be still in the running for FTF on this cache. However, the time I spent trying to negotiate the blackberry surrounding the Born To Run cache gave Jess.daphne time to reach GZ ahead of me and I discovered her busy searching as I arrived. Oh yuk, it's another blackberry enclosed GZ! [xx(] We both searched all around GZ for quite a few minutes before Jess.daphne gave out the call, "Found it". I was quite happy to be 2TF rather than the DNF I no doubt would have filed if I had been searching there on my own. I think the Diff could be upped a tad. TFTC.
I searched here at the beginning of my morning caching however with my GPS not giving me any accuracy and the only hint being where it wasn't I gave up and moved on to the next two caches. After finding Jungleland I made my way back here quickly to start searching again and was joined by BaldEd, luckily his GPS was more accurate than mine but without someone else to search with I might have given up. A pretty difficult hide this one, pleased to be {FTF}. TFTC!
