1 augustus 2024 11:43 We looked at several Trees. There are 2 trees recently choped, we think it was in there.
Our first geocache. Very hard to find but we persevered! GPS insccurate so we tried a few different trees!
Thanks for the find, was a hard one as gps is a long way off! Unless someone's put it in the wrong tree?
They have trimmed this tree even more, I remember when there was a bike hidden in it, can't do that know, good news is that I have replaced the cache, so all good to go
11:17AM Add us to the DNFers. Had a good look but didnt find anything. Tree looks like its had some pruning done recently. Will come back when its being found again. Cheers M+S [:0)]
Couldn't find it, the tree has had some recent pruning of branches, so assume someone has thrown it out.
An early grab before the start of indoor bowls today. (No play for me today though). Easy find but had difficulty with the container. Got there in the end. Thank you for the placement
finally at the end of this race.
think we travelled a lot further than we needed to get this one.
a few detours on our way.

With ABCDF4, eyespyben, and Gap (of Fap and Gap)... A planned expedition into the Taranaki region. All logs were signed with our individual handles, or Team HRP (Huntly, Rotorua, Papamoa) depending on who accessed the logbook first...
King's Birthday Monday: Participating in the Taranaki Daily News Half-Marathon - The driving (caching) edition… Limped across the finishing line in underwhelming fashion. Our prize for finishing was this cache! Thanks MIOW4. TFTC.

I did see this cache was disabled but having the scooters we decided it won’t take too long to get there anyway. No real spots to hide a cache here.
Anyway, Thanks MIOW4 for placing this cache.

Been informed that the tree is very naked, not home for a couple of weeks, will find new location
Gz has been very heavily pruned
No sign of cache or remains of cache
Owner needs to replace I'm guessing

With the help of Nicholasedmunds, we were able to retrieve the cache from high in the tree, all good to go for us short people
Was at the Multi Ethnic Extraganza on the weekend and thought I was been picked up right beside it, so thought I would check it out, the bike has gone from inside the tree but so has the cache, will need to replace it when in town later this week
seems like it is a lot higher than I had put it, I have been informed someone had to climb the tree to retrieve it, trust me I only put caches where I can reach them, and it has since been found, so off to look at it in the next few days
Gosh looked everywhere - nearly gave up but phew got the little brighter in the end - TFTC
Racecourse tree, such a lot of rubbish under this tree, so glad it was at a higher level.
School holidays so time for a tiki tour to visit friends in Taranaki. Stayed in New Plymouth today and enjoyed a stroll around Pukekura park. What an amazing asset for this town. Hard to know how to approach this cache but road side was best. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for the smiley.
This took a bit of finding. But once I worked out which angle to go in from it didn't take us long.

Tryed To Find This One Once Before But Was Looking In The Wrong Place ,Not This Time All Signed And Replaced Cache In Good Condition.
Have been here several times, with a thought to try, but it has always been too busy. Nice and quiet today so was able to make the quick find. Tftc
Took forever to find exactly where it is but it so freaking relieving when you find it
