Find #: 3,783Companions: NoneMuggles: NoneWeather: Cool spring morningCache condition: GoodAfter Culvert 2, Culvert 1. This time I started the search in the right spot, so quickly had CIH, and no webs to fight this time, phew - TNLNSL TFTC
Found it thanks to the hint, my coordinates had me on the other side unfortunately TFTC
Gotcha. Don’t mind doing this path twice at all, it’s gorgeous this afternoon
Couldn’t find this one, searched all of the black caps as per the hint ‘black’ and there was nothing, have a feeling this one has been taken or misplaced.
Forgot to log a DNF a few weeks ago, based on the other culvert cache something may be missing here..
Found this one pretty quickly, but had to be careful with the retrieval and replacement because we didn't want to hurt the 2 huntsman spiders that had setup him here. TFTC!
Some good and succesfull caching in the Parklands and Quakers Hill area. Had solved a lot of puzzles in preparation and also prepared myself for a lot of bike riding. Just had not counted on the weather not playing. Although mostly cloudy and only a few drops here and there, it was the heavens opening up about half way through the day, only 400 meters from the car but enough to get soaking wet!!

Found easily enough enough, but is it like the #2 one? Sneaky again. Will check that other one now. TFTC
I need to assess any damage to this cache due to the recent flooding.

After feeling out of place with so many cars around on the corner decided against spending too much time there stopped here for a quick find.
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache dkmacca

On from Culvert 2, and this one blends in and fits perfectly! Thanks again DKM.
An easy find during a couple of hours caching with Webby. TFTC

Following the path from Mitchell Johnson, we arrived at GZ and started to search. It just took a couple of tries before we had the cache in hand and could sign the log and replace.

A walk around Western Sydney Parklands with my dog. Of course not just to walk, but also to find as many caches as possible.
After Culvert #2, there is also Culvert #1, even though it does not have the suffix '#1'. The drizzle could not stop me finding this cache. What a fun and clever hide!

A quiet Australia Day public holiday morning, just a couple of passing cyclists. Nice hide. TFTC.
As Dan focussed on triangulating the position for GZ. Sue plucked out the cache whilst still on her bike. Show off. Then a large spider crawled up her leg causing her to SHRIEK LOUDLY. Dan laughed (behind her back, of course). TFTC
Geobiking day around Western Sydney Parklands. Thanks dkmacca for this amazing series. 18 founds and 4 DNF.

As we were in Blacktown today we just added a couple of stops to the morning's agenda. This was the second one and after parking and walking to GZ, it only needed a very short search to have this cache in hand. The log was decorated with our name before all was put back where it had been found. Thanks to dkmacca for another smiley on our caching map.
OCW Sensible Shoes and Shoes Junior. While we were searching I lifted up a black thing I thought the cache was hidden under but it wasn't...but a spider was! We didn't see it at first but when we were leaving Dad spotted the spider under the black thing (it looked like it was waving us godbye). TFTC
MrS grabbed this one after a couple of us overlooked it. These winter days are glorious for geocaching!
A fine winters morning for a continuing walk in the Western Sydney Parklands. Another quick find as I made my way along the path. tftc

Time is ticking by and I still need 40+ finds before earning the last of the Hidden Creature souvenirs. Was originally planning to do the Richmond Rd trail but spotted this one and figured it would be a great day for a bike ride.
After not finding an easy way from "Muggles and Oreo", I was happy to see a trail going in this direction. Zoomed straight past #2 to get to this one. A quick find here thanks to a generous hint. Next off to visit a legendary fast bowler.

From the culvert #2, we came to the 1st culvert.
This one was found by the GeoSon very quickly and we had the cache in hand in no time at all.
Everything is in good order.
Thanks dkmacca.

Following help and encouragement from the CO I'm back at the Western Sydney Parklands to try and reverse some of the dnf's I had when last here a couple of weeks ago. After reversing the three that I had some help with and revisiting three other DNF's which I again I was unable to find, The Culvert was the next on the list. After parking in Owen Street I walked along Power Street to the entrance of the parklands on the corner of Power and Knox Streets. The cache was found fairly quickly with the nice hint. TFT very clever C dk macca.
I've taken a walk through the western Sydney parklands park today and have found many tricky but nice hiding spots
I've looked for some for quite a while. One of them I couldn't find tho
Thank you for the very nice caches

Headed west today for my second visit to the Western Sydney Parklands.
This was a very well crafted hide.....a good hint and then just a matter of checking a couple before CIH

Crossed the cultivation to this culvert to uncover a clever cache construction. TFTC!
This was a case of a cache container fitting perfectly into its environment. I guessed immediately where to look as we approached, although I had to check in a couple of places before I got the right one. Nice and easy, all the same. Thanks
After eating out some kids on bikes and using the generous hint, again process of elimination. And yes, of, the last one I checked has the container. TFTC!
#3382 Be aware our Arachnophobia fellow cachers, I can across two separate eight leggers when doing the cache testing. Many thanks to the CO dkmacca for this inventive cache.
#4217- Out on a morning's caching with thomo31. As we girls do when we are out caching, we walk and chat, chat and walk. We had just done Cricket Legends and were heading back to the car. We had actually crossed the road when I mentioned this one. Ok, focus girls- back across the road and into the parkland we just came from.
We wandered down the track, thomo31 headed one side and I other. Then I heard her say, here it is. A nice quick find from my mate dkmacca. Wow, thanks!

It isnt an area I have done many caches so when WaywardWoman said there was another not far from our previous find I was all for some more walking. We just didn't remember till we were heading back to the car. So turned around again. Back across the road and down the path. Got to the Culvert and quickly found it. Being early there wasnt anyone around so we were able to sign the log and return the cache in peace! TFTC
Came out today to enjoy the sunshine after returning from a trip to China. What a beautiful day. Found this one quickly once the GPS settled. I have been neglecting traditional lately but decided to do a few today. Thanks dkmacca for placing the cache. All is well at the cache Cheers
Out with Trodectus for a nice walk. Arrived GZ and quickly had CIH. Log signed and returned. Noted cloven hoof marks in the mud and were wondering what type of animal, possibly feral goat? TFTC
Found with Coybear2000. We had decided to go for a bit of a walk and we had this cache in mind. We arrived at GZ and using the hint we soon had CIH. We can understand others' concerns with regard to this one - we replaced a couple of the outer hides. We saw some cloven hoof prints in the mud. While walking back we saw someone riding a motorcycle on the path. TFTC.
I spent ages last time, looking under rocks. The compass had me on one side, so I didn't even consider the "black" on the opposite side. Today I did. TFTC
I parked about 140m away near a service entrance and walked to the GZ. It was an easy find with the hint but as RS before me said the muggle potential is high - I replaced 2 similar outer cache coverings from their place on the ground and a further 3 were missing altogether.
Anyway another calendar vacancy filled.

It took a few goes before I stumbled onto the right spot, I wonder how long it will be before it is muggled?
#3753 (5 of 6 today)
I'd received a little intel re two of my recent DNFs, so I decided today was the day to revisit them and see if I could put them to bed.
There was also an older DNF that I thought I'd have another try at as well. Managed to snag all three, and on the way I also ended up grabbing another three.
Good day.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Looking for another cache to round off the day I spotted two new ones from **dkmacca**. That spells quality to me.
Parked near the recommended spot and decided to go for this one first.
OK, two, maybe three types of viable hide here.
Checked the most obvious on one side of the culvert. Nope.
Over to the other side... Aah, there you are. CIH.
Not quite what I expected, to be honest, and I'm slightly concerned re the longevity of the hide based on what I saw.
Completed signing duties and then back to the other hide.

5/2/17. 9:37 AM. Cache #4731.
2nd of 3 today - Doonside & Rouse Hill.
Still on the phone with a PAF following "Cricket Legends #1 Mitchell Johnson."; I continued on foot and stopped at a culvert. Picked up a couple of rocks, but there was little else here. Had to put my PAF on speaker so that I could check the distance - still 90m to go... wrong culvert! Walked on to the one that had more construction on top of it.
Considering the simple D/T rating, it just needed a few guesses until I got the right one. Signed & replaced, then headed off to Rouse Hill Town Centre for the 2017 Hills Geo event, which was already under way. Of course the CO of these two caches was among the attendees! TFTC.

Back again, but this time I park at the suggested WP and followed the path to GZ. My nephew had called me just as I got to the bridge and hampered my searching as I was using my phone as a phone instead of a GPS. As he kept talking I happened to notice something extra and realised I had spotted the cache. Now to get rid of my nephew so I can use my hands to remove the log and sign it. SL #2901 on streak day #1675 TFTC
Glad the place was empty as it took far longer to spot than I expected. And of course the last spot i had left to look.
Thanks for the cache.

Met up with Snoopy1976 at Lunch today and decided to walk in and grab this cache. Only took a couple of minutes and had CIH. TFTC
