I found this after a short look, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible with the busy road right next to me. Great container design and camo! Unfortunately no log to sign but will be sending pic as proof. Tftc
Found the official geocache (very cool) but as others have mentioned there is no log. TFTC.
We were surprised to get to the cache fairly quickly. There are so many places it could be and we'd only looked in a few.. Thanks dkmacca.
Have driven past this one too often to not stop today when I needed numbers for the Solstice Challenge. Easy parking just across the road followed by a few seconds to spot and confirm the hide. Not a cricket fan but favourite point awarded in this game for the camo and some unfound time.
I like this one ^_^
It took a while to find it, but then it worked.

I was jogging around the area, and this was enroute. When I got to GZ I started looking for potential hiding spots, and something made me gravitate quickly to the right spot - nice! TNLNSL, TFTC

Out and about for work with a time for a short break and a cache but what a time for the phone to drop its location accuracy as it said I was over 500m away but a look on sat view for the listed co-ords got us close and geo sense the rest. A well crafted hid revealed the log book. Have a fav point. TFTC
Some good and succesfull caching in the Parklands and Quakers Hill area. Had solved a lot of puzzles in preparation and also prepared myself for a lot of bike riding. Just had not counted on the weather not playing. Although mostly cloudy and only a few drops here and there, it was the heavens opening up about half way through the day, only 400 meters from the car but enough to get soaking wet!! Perfect use of location!

Too many cars yesterday at 5pm it proved to be so much easier to find on my way home from camera club at 10pm. Had a bit of a hint, it was what I thought I would need to do, after yesterday just in case had to find it in a hurry with still more cars around but that wasn't the case so found the cache quite quickly.
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache dkmacca

Out exploring the area my wife. A fav point for this one, a great hide. Thanks dkmacca.
Visiting Webby whilst up in Sydney and we decided to get out and find a few caches. This was the first of several. Nice hide, TFTC!

Having some spare time before going to a picnic in Nurrangingy, we stopped for a few caches along the way. This one was the first.
Arrived at the structure and tried to locate something that was a bit different, but it took some time and some tries before we could finally find the odd thing out.

A walk around Western Sydney Parklands with my dog. Of course not just to walk, but also to find as many caches as possible.
When I approached the object I became a bit depressed...so many options to hide a cache. But then I spotted something that did not look right. Suddenly I had cache in hand!

First for the year, yep been a bit slow to get going, but thanks to Australia Day public holiday headed out for a few. Great hide. Great bowler (although I don't see the link). I'll give it a fav. TFTC.

CACHE #135
Found at 13:20hrs, 1 of 3.
Arrived at GZ after parking a short distance away on Power Street. My GPS seemed to bounce around before settling on the rock wall. I read the previous logs and circled the structure, and sighted a pen (I believe to be left by a previous cacher) . I realised I must be standing in front of the container!
I then paid closer attention to what was there and started pulling on things - it popped out, as did the other one near it. The second was CIH! Wow!!! Fav point for this
Signed log and replaced exactly as found. TFTC

OCW Sensible Shoes and Shoes Junior. When we got to GZ Shoes Junior made a quick grab. TFTC
Shoes Junior FTW!! We groaned upon approach but SJ was right onto it. You sure mate? Oh, yep. Haha TFTC

Time is ticking by and I still need 40+ finds before earning the last of the Hidden Creature souvenirs. Was originally planning to do the Richmond Rd trail but spotted this one and figured it would be a great day for a bike ride.
Had that dreaded feeling when I saw what was ahead of me as I approached GZ. But after leaning my bike in a convenient location, had CIH after the second item I explored. Wow that was lucky. Nicely done - gets a fav point from me.

It amazes me but, the GeoSon just walks up, pulls something and it just happens to be the cache. This is a once in a million year thing and has completely blown my mind.
Lol.
To be honest though, the cache was in good condition and we replaced everything as found.
Thanks dkmacca.

I hate rocks in cages caches! But I LOVED this one! Brilliant camo. Well deserved favourite point. TFTC

Following help and encouragement from the CO I'm back at the Western Sydney Parklands to try and reverse some of the dnf's I had when last here a couple of weeks ago. After reversing the three that I had some help with and revisiting three other DNF's which I again I was unable to find. After finding the Puzzle Box it was time to home again before the traffic builds up but not before checking this cache which was on the walk back to the car parked in Owen Street. I quickly poked around among the rocks before I saw something that looked a bit out of place. Bingo CIH for signing. Another very clever cache from dkmacca, thanks, and a fav point from me.
I've taken a walk through the western Sydney parklands park today and have found many tricky but nice hiding spots
I've looked for some for quite a while. One of them I couldn't find tho
Thank you for the very nice caches

Headed west today for my second visit to the Western Sydney Parklands.
This cache was very clever and not what I was expecting at all

Again. Have to say. All the caches today were excellent. The tour dkmacca proved both fruitful and enjoyable. At this point I think I started to feel like I was getting to know the CO's hiding style and found the cache pretty quickly. Thanks for the cache!
There were a number of caches in this park which I hadn’t gotten around to doing, so we parked across the road and made this one the first of six we found on a walk through the parkland. The WaywardWoman had already found this cache but she left me to find it on my own. As it turned out, the hide was quite ingenious but also easy to find. I retrieved what I thought was the cache, only to find it was a decoy – I personally don’t like this practice – but that just meant I was on the right track, and so immediately found the cache after that. Thanks
It's hard to look inconspicuous at this GZ. Counting rocks? Luckily the 2nd try after some encouragement from my first attempt yielded a cache, again very clever. Almost out of favs but here's another dkmacca. TFTC.
I searched the front thoroughly but then rechecked the cords and was drawn to a tree. No cricket ball in a fork there. I turned around and thought 'what if?' The first try gave some movement and the 'red herring'. The second try gave the cache container.
A yell from a car at the intersection 2 minutes earlier was 'have you found it?'.

Tftc. Started out looking for the same as the other end of the parklands, but soon found differently.
#4216- A number of weeks ago I was out this way doing a few caches. I only had a short time and for some reason had blinkers and had not noticed these few ones nearby. I'd been speaking to dk and he asked me why I didn't do these ones.
Today I was out for an early morning's caching with thomo31. We had no real plan as to what to do- so I suggested heading here. We parked in the side street and I thought, no...... not in that.
But today the caching gods were smiling and it was in the first spot I looked.
Maybe its just that I'm now more used to dkmacca's devious hides. Thanks

Out for a caching morning with WaywardWoman. I needed a calendar fill day and so we made a morning of it. She had a couple on her list so headed here. When we got to GZ I rolled my eyes thinking we would be here for a while, but in no time WaywardWoman had cache in hand. Signed the log and returned as found then headed on. TFTC
Came out today to enjoy the sunshine after returning from a trip to China. What a beautiful day. Found this one quickly once the GPS settled. I have been neglecting traditional lately but decided to do a few today. Thanks dkmacca for placing the cache. FP awarded for the camo and placement. Cheers
#3633 Failed at the northern one of these in April so I was not confident. Searched high and low, around and around. Read the logs which clued me into a successful game plan. Got the red herring, then I thought I had a second red herring, but the cache was just stuck inside and was not clearly noticeable in its home.
Anyways, many thanks to the CO ***dkmacca*** for establishing and maintaining another local cache so the rest of us will visit this secret area and enjoy seeking out the hide.

This cache had us looking for a little while, as we remembered another hide in a similar construction a bit further away. This search turned up nothing, so we read some logs and realised that this time it was different. The decoy was found first and then the cache came to light. Hooray! After signing our name on the log, all was replaced in position. We had managed to do all this despite there being a constant parade of driving muggles. Our thanks go to dkmacca for an interesting hide.
Found with Coybear2000. We'd had a busy day so as this one was nearby we decided to give it a try. As it was already dark we grabbed our torches. At GZ there were lots of spiders busily setting up webs so we kept our eyes peeled for others. We started our search and luck was on our side. Soon we found the cache and the decoy. TFTC
Out with Troectus for a find for the day. Sun had set so we did this as a "night" cache. Arrived GZ and started searching, after a few minutes had CIH. This one was slightly different to dkmacca's at the other end of the park . Log signed and returned, and then found the decoy .TFTC

I'd received a little intel re two of my recent DNFs, so I decided today was the day to revisit them and see if I could put them to bed.
There was also an older DNF that I thought I'd have another try at as well. Managed to snag all three, and on the way I also ended up grabbing another three.
Good day.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
As I walked from *The Culvert* I read some of the logs for this one. Hmmm. OK.
Got to GZ and applied what I'd read. Quick find in the third spot I checked. Positioned myself to best obscure GZ from the passing cars, picked my moment and made the grab. Then well away to complete signing duties.
When I checked, the "lid" had fallen off and the camo was empty. So back I went, leaving what I already had where I was.
Spotted what I was missing on the ground, so again timed the grab, then back to complete signing duties.
Did that, reassembled the camo - hopefully more securely - and then back for the timed replace.
Nicely done this one.
Time for home.

The heat was oppressive today and I could not stand in the sun at the Culvert, so I gave up on that one and came back to this one. I read a few logs that suggested it was something a little different than the usual. When you know that much, you just start tugging on this send that...and BOOM! A red herring...then BOOM! the real cache. nicely done.
Streak Day #1309 - Met up with dave8153 after work for this one, was a fairly quick find, was actually harder to retrieve and replace due to the ongoing streams of traffic. TFTC
