I travelled more than 16.000 km to log this one. Together with my daughter it was very easy. The box and the logbook are a little bit damaged and should be repaired before the next rain. Thank for the cacheKim from Newcastle, NSW and Rolf from Germany
We had been to Kotara and called in here on the way to the beach. It's a nice area with amazing views but I wouldn't want to live here and have to walk up and down the roads. The cache was soon found but was a lot harder to replace in a secure manner. Thanks xyrocco for the hide.
Visiting Newcastle for a geocaching weekend from Sydney. Stopped by here at the end of a fun day of finds. Poked around the park waiting for a family to leave . Ended up strolling over to GZ and greeting the others who were there at the end of a 17km run. Wow! Then we started to look and they asked if we were geocaching. Out they jumped from the car through join us! They were the Mayhem family who had taken a break from geocaching for a while. Mother Mayhem found the container away from expected GZ and in a Beverly beat up condition. Geo-mayhem kids helped to rehide the container which has lost its magnets. Nice to meet you all. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

Thanks! A little squashed but log was in there, a bit water damaged but kids thought it looked like pirates paper!
Found with my boys and BillHill531 on a morning out geocaching. This was our fourth stop. BillHill had done this one before, so was surprised when it was not where it had been last time. Eventually I found the squashed container wrapped in its camouflage, but missing its magnet and log. He confined it was the right one, so I put a piece of paper in it and returned it to the middle of a table. It probably won't last, so needs to be looked at soon.
Thanks for the views and cache!

This has been deliberately destroyed by a cache smasher. Will temporarily disable and replace when able to.
Did not find, but found what appeared to be something used to secure it. Appears to have been removed.
Easy and quick find! Catche may need to be replaced as lid no longer shuts. Thanks!
Had to wait for a muggle to vacate the area aa he was blocking our access to it once he was gone it was i good find
Nice sunny day to grab a few caches. Nice spot here and a muggle with campervan was camped nearby but he paid us no heed. A quick find. Thanks xyrocco
Thankfully the muggles in the area had chosen the other option to enjoy their snacks, thus leaving the way clear for an easy search. Cache was quickly found and the actual signing was completed out of the sight of the muggles, before the cache was then carefuly replaced. Thanks go to xyrocco for putting this cache into play.
I am ashamed to say that this one took longer than it should. I had a good idea where it was, but, no, the GPS had me out in the middle of the road and I could not see it there. Eventually, order was restored and I came away with a smile.
Quick find while driving around newcastle trying to get the kids to sleep. Tftc
After finding Queens Wharf Tower and being out muggled at the bogey hole i stopped here as i was driving past. A quick find and sign and i was on my way. TFTC
Too hot to do much today so after avoiding the heat at the shops in the morning we looked for a few drivebys in the arvo. A quick park and grab. TNLN TFTC
Find No: 5475. Picked up a long-lost friend from Vienna this morning in Sydney and took him for a drive around the beaches, came across this one on the way and introduced him to "geopicking" (as he calls it), thanks for the cache xyrocco!!
Find #1167 2TF
After picking up the lad from school, I noted this was still unfound - so we headed for a FTF..... Winding our way through 4.30pm traffic through Newcastle is painful at the best of times, when chasing an FTF it is excruciating! We were put out of our suspense when the FTF log posted when we were literally a few minutes away. We arrived to find some muggles discussing what appeared to be building plans right on top of GZ - don't they have a kitchen table for that? They didn't appear to be the thieving types, so we found the cache literally between their legs, signed the log and headed home, a little dejected.....
TFTC, and breaks our longest slump in a long time!
