Out and about after work this afternoon to find some caches now that the rain has cleared. As I headed down the road towards this GZ a school bus dropped off a load of passengers just before ground zero. I decided to drive on to the local shop for a drink and a snack and to then walk back up the hill when the coast was clear. This all went to plan and a short search at ground zero soon had the goods in hand. The log sheet was rather wet but I managed to leave some sort of mark on the waterproof paper. Cheers for the cache placement!
Studying the art on the box was a good cover while one junior quickly found the cache. TFTC
All good here...checked as going past.
Changed container to a small round sistema with a blue lid as easier to see.
Under rock.

Came by on a maintenance run...Had to dig deep in the leaves but found the tube!
Was looking tatty and hard to get the paper out ; so have replaced with a face cream container I had in the car.. has a black lid.
The wood is not there so covered it with a big stone!
All good again thanks.

Had a good look around, not sure if I am missing it inbetween all the muggles or if its MIA.
Couldn’t find it! Searched behind the wood wall behind the power box, and all around.
A plan was hatched to try and find as many different combinations on the D/T grid that we could in one day. A route was planned and planned again a number of times. It has been months in the planning but today it was coming to fruition.
I left Hamilton at 4.45am and met up with ABCDF4 and eyespyben in Huntly before arriving at our first cache at 7am. It was a long and tiring day with the last cache found as darkness set in. And after a celebratory dinner at McDonalds I got home at 11.00pm.
My calculations is that we achieved 47 with only 2 DNFs. Thank you to all the cache owners.
Nice to not have to walk a distance. Thank you for the placement.

We had talked about this personal challenge, D/T Grid for sometime, so decided to attack on long weekend ( Waitangi),EyeSpy first up at 4.30am,so time to rise as KGD will be here soon and left Huntly for our first cache in Ak at 7am. Lota of laughs, plenty of U turns, tree climbing, muddy gumboots, very steep climbs and plenty of Kms travelled. Our total over the period was 47 different D/T ratings and only 2 dnfs. Thanks to all the Cos for a great day in the Supa City and KGD for his organisation skills. Park and grab, mind the traffic.

I strongly doubt it has been stolen, but will check after Lockdown, as we are not supposed to be out caching at the moment as could spread or catch Covid Virus from touching container.
A cacher contacted me to say that they couldn't find the cache here.
Have put a new one in place.

Met up with TheWonderStuff this morning to go caching out West and add a few more gemstones to our collections and try and unlock the vault. Parked right by GZ and quickly raced out of the car to search. TWS and I each took a different side and I soon had the cache in hand.
Out finding a few caches today - a nice simple find here - nice painting

This morning I had some errands to attend to in the Henderson area. After those were seen to I headed further West to see what I could find. A bit of a hit and miss time on the caching front but it was all good fun in the end. Cool art here. And a cool cache too. TFTC, Biggles.
Replaced with a double tube container covered with bit of black bicycle tube...should keep dryer now!
Nice quick and easy find! Log was a bit damp so decided not to try sign it (but darkangel took a photo instead)
I had the day off and with rain looming I decided to grab a couple of caches before the weather changed. It was nice and quiet here and I enjoyed reading the story of Tiberius after signing the log. The cache was a little exposed when I found it so tucked it away a little better
We headed out this morning to find 15 caches to boost our numbers for this calendar date. Makes quite a change from our 'normal' one cache a day streak caching.
No problem making the find here (once we checked the 2nd side). We enjoyed the paintings and the words,so adding a Favourite point for the location. Thanks for taking us for a close-up view of this artwork.

I started to search very close by with my hand, but then spotted it. Can see how it's easily missed.

Wasn't much of a day for being out and about, certainly not for long periods anyway! It was a dot day on the calendar today so thought I might like to shoot out of the house before I got cabin fever. This trad was the closest to home I haven't done, so that'll do me. Nice to be driving around a bit despite the rain etc. No worries with the find here Supernanny, cache soaking wet on the outside but the paper was dry as! Who needs plastic bags eh? I see now how you got the name for the cache, nothing wrong with that - a cool name too. So thanks for the cache, I might head back and grab a finished mystery puzzle final.
For some reason my eyes kept missing this hide. A third look around the GZ and boom there it was! TFTC
Teamed up with yorkshirekiwi83 this afternoon for a drive out to Huia and to find a few caches. Stopped to look for Tiberius on the way out, parked at GZ, read the nice little story and soon found the cache. TFTC!
Vistra wanted to go for a drive on this beautiful afternoon to grab some caches, so sure I was in. Headed out into the Waitakeres to pick up new ones since I last did drive bys. What a cute location, read the story and found the cache. TFTC.
I have not heard of Tiberius, but have noticed the beautifully painted power box on several occassions, never knew there was a cache there, I have a few to turn to smileys in this area. Out with the CO today, light traffic meant a quick park and grab. Absolutely love all these painted boxes.
Not sure how i missed this last visit i did check that spot hmm ok found very quickly this time nice position sn tftc Lokky1 May 5, 2017 13:03
