Our holiday is almost over but not before enjoying a caching trip in Goulburn with an overnight stay in our favourite accommodation first. With plenty of presolved puzzles and letterboxes Goulburn has plenty to offer any geocacher.A mighty job to reach GZ today but luckily we started a few waypoints on our last visit here.Today we searched for awhile for the final before finding it at a different level than we expected. Thanks JDogMonkey for the multi placement.

12-Apr-24
Did not find this cache. Looked high and low and in all the trees.

02-Jan-24
GreenGecko1 & I started this one on our way through and didnt finish it. There seemed to be a lot of waypoint struggle & PAFs. after a couple of WPs we ran out of time attended an event and continued to Canberra for our Christmas rendezvous.Upon our return journey and more consultation we were able to complete the remainder and find the log book to sign.Thank you JDogMonkey for an epic Multi that was challenging and informative.

01-Jan-24
Started this days and days ago and finally finished it today. Thank you for the fun

13-Dec-23
A straightforward find here today in the company of a previous finder. Thanks!

Really nice to bag a 5-5 today. TFTC

16-Nov-23
On a day trip with The Rats and Steeba, targeting caches in and around Goulburn. Came back a second time, and found the cache in a unexpected location.Cheers

16-Nov-23
Tried our best, but no luck here at GZ this afternoon.

16-Nov-23
Headed down Goulburn way with The Rats and Hoojar to tackle mainly Periodic table series caches- plenty of interesting places and hides, with some TOTTs required. A good day out all around.Took a bit of hunting at GZ but we got there.TFTC!

16-Nov-23
Itd been a while since wed been to Goulburn, so a days caching with steeba and Hoojar was mapped out.Armed with our TOTT we picked up a good handful caches in the area. Thanks to the COs for placing the caches. This was was an epic adventure that were glad to finally have our names in the log.TFTC

15-Sep-23
It’s taken several years and multiple visits and the odd nudge from mates to find all the waypoints and put this all together. Got there in the end! TNLN TFTC

30-Apr-23
Since moving back to Canberra, we have visited Goulburn on six or seven occasions, either to attend events or CITOs here.
Sometimes we have just been passing through, on our way to Sydney to visit family.
On each occasion, we have made a mission to do at least some Geocaching, and to make our way gradually through this multi.
We did need assistance with one of the WPs.
Today was the opportunity to finally add our name to the log. Even then, this was not straightforward, and although our GZ was very accurate, the container is very well hidden.
Eventually, after some searching, we finally added our name to the log.
A FP for the adventure.
Thanks JDogMonkey

Joined the **MCO** expedition with **Purplepeopleater**, **bella at waggy**, **Baktrak**, **Team Merlin**, **TARDIS 0061** and **Asbestiform**. After a hearty breakfast in Mittagong, we headed off under threatening skies and cleared out our targets in that area.

Then off to Goulburn to cherry pick through the periodic table and hit some other prime targets. This was definitely a group effort with some of the team having previously made it through various stages of the tour which helped today.

By the end of the day, the tally was around 50 finds after venturing further down the Hume to Goulburn and surrounds.

Found this as a group of 7 out on a day of caching. Signed as MCO. Thanks to all the cache owners who we discover their caches to day. A most enjoyable day thanks guys. Cheers

This was a great multi and great tour of town, we had a little bit of help with some of the waypoints, the cache at GZ is all good

Day 4 of e.gregory1 and I’s trip to Yass, NSW and surrounds for a week away to find a few caches. Today we headed from Bowning to Goulburn, hitting the local trails around Yass and a few others around the area before caching around Goulburn for the afternoon.

Thanks for the cache

26-Jun-22
Found on a week-long caching trip over to NSW and Victoria from Adelaide with gridge98.

Our main targets were the wherigo and challenge cache series’ around the Yass and Goulburn areas, although we also found quite a few other Unknown, multi, letterbox, virtual and traditional caches of interest along the way. We even managed to attend an event at Sutton and did a couple of caches just over the border in the ACT.

The middle of winter around the shortest day was probably not the best time to schedule our trip, particularly as we were camping. But despite a little bit of rain one night and sub-zero temperatures on another, the weather wasn’t too bad, albeit on the cloudy and cool side.

In all we covered about 3,300 km over the week and managed almost 350 finds each.

After collecting the required information for the final coordinates, it was off to GZ for the find.

Thanks JDogMonkey for the cache.

11-Jun-22
Cache 9012 on 11 Jun 2022.

Headed up to SYD with Fox in Jox to get my virtual cache ready for placement and grab a few select caches along the way. It was toasty warm compared to CBR and we enjoyed a pleasant day driving, caching and doing a crossword.

I had a lot of help with getting this one sorted. I am not a natural climber, so was happy for assistance in obtaining the numbers. It was a bit tricky to find at GZ, but calling a previous finder helped narrow down the search area!

Thanks JDogMonkey for the cache and the fun!

29-May-22
What a long adventure it has been for this one.

We started this cache over 12 months ago, and with each visit to Goulburn we worked our way through the waypoints.
Today, with just a little more work, we were able to add our name to the log. Very thankful that it wasn't a killer find at the end.

Many thanks for placing this cache, JDogMonkey, for the awesome adventure.

21-Apr-22
The area is fenced off and some trees are getting cut down and could you please check after the works have finished.

21-Apr-22
Waypoint 2 is currently unavailable due to the building works on the pool. Please message us for waypoint 3 until we can replace the waypoint.

17-Feb-22
Having been to Goulburn a few times with caching colleagues before it was now good to finally complete this one. Fun was had in the process and long. I needed a PAF to find GZ that was about 4m out today which is a lot in the bush. TFTC JDogMonkey.

09-Jan-22
For the last 4-5 days I've been down from the cenny coast for a solo novo geocaching trip in the first week of January - a great way to start the year I say. I'd decided to specifically hit Yass and CBR. The weather was pretty average but I still managed a pretty good haul and it has been great to get some time away.

On my way home this morning and after the mandatory stop at Trappers for their vanilla slice, I made my way back over to here ("back"; see Write note below 14/03/20) as I have plenty of TOTTs on board to hit this WP1 with, plus I come well practiced from the last few days lol, and so I gave it a good go. But alas, for the life of me I just can't find anything here. I'm dumbfounded and disappointed that I can't even make a start on this after two go's how embarrassment Sad

Getting across to the eastern side of Goulburn was quite challenging today du to the flooding and multiple road closures. Made a quick find at GZ after an enjoyable chase.

#11325 - 8:35:00 AM; Set out on a cold but sunny morning with Sol de lune and Smittengranny on a caching mission north to Taralga then west to Laggan and Crookwell. Seventy three caches found and three DNFs for the day. This cache had presented some difficulties during earlier attempts, but we returned to GZ determined to right the wrongs of past efforts today. Widned our search area before Sdl came up with the goods and we happily added our names to the log sheet. Whew! TFTC JDogMonkey Smile

16-May-21
The day started cool and windy with a sunny blue sky that boded well for a great day caching with two good geo buddies - Sol de Lune and LuckyL10n. I had it in my mind that the cache should be level with 20th step but luckily SDL climbed higher up the hill and soon had the CIH. This was the first find of the day so we all signed the log individually. TFTC JDogMonkey

16-May-21
A day out caching with Smittengranny and LuckyL10n and this was our first stop. After and unsuccessful attempt a while again, we notices this one had a new container. So we headed off to the GZ and after a bit of searching and digging the container was in hand. We added our names to the other on the log sheet, replaced the cache as found and headed off to our next one.

Hopefully a few other will attempt this now with the knowledge that the cache is there and not as difficult to find as some would think.

Thanks JDogMonkey for the tour. (and thanks to HappyUke for the container)

25-Apr-21
Finalf29 and I met up with ALL7 and had a wonderful morning caching... pleasant weather and great company! Watching ALL7 cache is like watching a machine... she is out of the car and has the cache in her hand 9 times out of 10 before I've even undone my seat belt!... so, sorry for the generic logs... but thanks for the caches Smile

OK this has been a long time coming. I can't even remember when I first started this multi... with many twists and turns and a couple of nudges from friends I finally had the final coords... but when I went to grab my prize I could not find it anywhere at GZ. I know I was in the correct spot so I contacted friends, who had already found it, in case the cache was a little further afield... but ended up with a big DNF... so much work!!!! I have keep a watchful eye on it ever since and saw other people were feeling my pain as well. So today since I was with ALL7, who was a previous finder, I took her to GZ and she pointed where it should have been. We searched and searched but could not find any container... so I left a replacement container. If the CO is not happy then just delete my log but after all that work (over a few years) I think there should be a cache at the end after the effort put in. Thanks

12-Dec-20
Climbed all over GZ as did Pa, but no luck here. Is it stii there?

14-Mar-20
Stayed the night here in Goulburn last night on our way thru to Canberra for a family event this evening. We planned on spending the morning running around town chasing WPs for this ...but you can’t control the weather!! Yesterday was 30 and sunny what happened?!

21-Feb-20
After work today was a busy day of caching. It started with an event in Civic with an out of town cacher, then it was off to Goulburn to finish a Multi I had needed to find a missing waypoint to finish, then dinner followed by a few more caches. A fun afternoon where it was great to catch up with many different people.

I had started this some time ago and could not find one of the way points. With the help of a previous finder I was able to plug the gap and find the final way points and now GZ.

Thanks.

22-Apr-19
Very tricky indeed... this one should probably have the 'teamwork required' attribute, lol. Goulburn is a cute little place, I enjoyed wandering all over the place here. Found today with HippyDonna and MrGravel. Thanks for the multi-cache, JDogMonkey.

22-Apr-19
I saw more of Goulburn today than any other time I have just ‘passed through’ LOL

Today Geoturtle37 and I are caching in and around the Goulburn area. We managed to get quite a few caches done and they were all interesting in their own way. Sizes locations and ease of find were varied today . Thank you to all the CO’s that made this possible. Thank you for showcasing this lovely town, it’s views, it's architecture and it's history which is certainly fascinating and worthy of the caches dedicated to it.

14-Apr-19
Out getting some caches in the Goulburn area today. Tomorrow, we are off towards Canberra. I had a great time learning of the history of the people in this area, looking closely at the architecture and taking in the stunning view. Thank you to each and every CO that made this possible.

14-Apr-19
I was recommended this cache by a friend so after lunch set of to make the find . Had no problems in the beginning but then security didn’t like my searching and started questioning and following me so I requested help from a friend and was able to complete the cache . Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl

Reperio at 0800.

As I was headed on to Canberra today for a few days of geocaching, I was keen to continue on with this cache having found the first few WP’s on a previous visit. As I arrived while it was still dark, I was able to creep around and find what I needed without raising too much suspicion, and at GZ, the cache was located with no eyes around. So nice to get this one on the foudn list...and it was a great tour of Goulburn.

Gratias JDogMonkey.

11-Nov-18
Well, what an adventure!

It started with Aquilus1 and I having a discussion about going to the GIFF Event in Goulburn, then we invited Tankengine and GreyHams who had expressed an interest in going too. Then poor IamCoust had car issues but really wanted to come so I invited him too. Sorry boys for the squishy ride from Canberra, but don't worry - Aquilus1 and I were ok and quite comfortable ; )

We spent most of the morning picking up the newer trail along Bungendore Road heading to Goulburn. We made it just in time for the event and although some of the movies were good, some were just... not so good. As I had had a hectic week I was very tired and thought I would fall asleep a couple of times, but no rest for the wicked ; )

Before heading home, we picked up a couple of caches around town (mainly ones that Tankengine had outstanding so he could have a full town of smilies). This was one of them and it was a great place for a cache. Tftc and maintaining it JDogMonkey!!!

11-Nov-18
Found - more later with All7 Signed DAGIT

22-Feb-18
I was on my way northward back to Queensland from Victoria via Canberra, but this multi took my fancy. I always wanted to stop and look at this old town. The castle tower is definitely interesting.

Thank you so much for a cool multi and a chance to have a few hours break from highway driving.

Cheers JDogMonkey

04-Feb-18
It's been a while since the FFLL team have been able to do an assault together, we had a break in our calendar so we decided to arrange a geomission with Rapidlywild and clear out in and around Goulburn. We left Canberra at a decent hour and headed up the highway, the weather was a little cloudy along the way and the storm clouds seemed to follow us. So there was a few showery spots. As usual the day was fun and lots of laughs were had.

Finally, this one is done! Epic adventure this one to get the information on more than one occasion. Great to finally get it off the list. TFTC and the adventure JDogMonkey, well done.

03-Feb-18
Plans were put into place with both the ladies from FurfacesLL to do a little run on Goulburn and surrounds. We had our sights set the remainder of the Taralga Trek (and Taralga Trek Too) as well as collecting the last few WPs of the "JDogMonkey's Tour of Goulburn" multi. Was a nice fun day out and about with sunshine, cold winds, spats of rain, a punctured tire and lots of laughter.

Since this puzzle was released, the FFLL ladies and myself had worked together to gather WP information each time we passed Goulburn on the way too and from Sydney. Working as a team, we had gathered most of the required information but we just had the last few WP's left to finish it off. Today we decided to get it knocked off and utilising a PAF or 2 to keep us on track, we were soon heading towards GZ. We were thankful that once at GZ, it was an easy find, cache signed and rehidden as found.

Thanks for the interestingly put together multi cache hide JDogMonkey and thanks for showing us quite a bit of Goulburn Razz

08-Dec-17
Down for the weekend in Goulburn, and i had spotted this multi last time but run out of time until now. With help from CO and team_lewin and other finders we soon worked our way around Goulburn. One of the waypoints we had to return later at night to return the container as it appeared we may have been suspected drug dealers in the car park. Thanks for bring us around Goulburn and for the cache. Found with Team lewin.

08-Dec-17
#2290. Found it. Wow. Very interesting and good to see goulburn from a different perspective. Very interesting use of a multi. With way point 3 missing i soon contacted the CO with a prompt reply and PAF we soon were continuing our journey towards gz. Certainly wouldnt have found it without some help from a caching friend and my brother aussieben who was in for the hunt too.

Thanks JDogMonkey for a friday evening well spent.

08-Dec-17
We are aware waypoint 3 has gone walk abouts we are currently waiting for the proper replacement container to arrive. I will place a temporary container in the mean time.

23-Nov-17
Fitzy_1965 decided it was time to tackle this cache so he could clear out Goulburn again so I tagged along. Was able to provide some help with local knowledge in getting from one waypoint to another. Waypoint 3 was missing so nibletricecakes was happy to help get us to the next point and then a hint to the final whereabouts given our missing information. Tonight fitzy braved the weather and made the find.

23-Nov-17
15,090. Found with minniek during a lovely summer storm - lol !

Well this was an interesting experience. A nice concept for a multi with just a few enhancements needed to make it an enjoyable experience. Gathered all the WPs except WP3 which is missing. I'm glad we did WP2 after the establishment had closed. With all the WPs and their clues (thanks to Nibletricecakes for WP3) we calculated GZ and after arriving back in Goulburn tonight after work we headed to GZ in the rain. Luckily it wasn't too far 'up' and the cache was quickly found. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and returned to the car happy to have once again (for now) cleaned out Goulburn.

Thanks JDogMonkey !! And I hear Congrats are in order !!

TNLN - TFTC !!

05-Nov-17
Attending the GIFF Event in Goulburn this 5/5 multi has brought my attention a few times since it came out and always wanted to check it out. I teamed up with Cankid who had already found it before so he showed me the waypoints and how the cache worked. An interesting take on a multi cache and a rare way of solving one! Thanks to Cankid and also his PAF for making it all possible!

Thanks for the effort in setting it all up JDogMonkey Big Grin

08-Oct-17
The sixth find of the day. Well this one was certainly significantly more of a challenge then I was expecting. It was lucky I had a PAF! A very interesting way of constructing a multi cache although it could do with a bit of refinement. WP2 made me extremely nervous, you may wish to rethink that location IMHO. Barely finished this one in time though to make it back home. Log signed and cache replaced. TFTC JDogMonkey!

24-Sep-17
Found this with a group of friends after an event.

24-Sep-17
This was epic !!
I started this multi a few months ago but couldnt get find and get past WP3
Today after the nearby CITO event I teamed up with the locals to help me work through it,we started from WP3 this time I found the replaced cache. From here we worked around the remaining WPs but not with too much given away I still had to work for it,one WP had me off as im sure the street name is different but got there in the end.
We arrived at the final hide just before dark and after a little scratch around here and there I soon had CIH...yipee
Pretty stoked to have found this cache and fill that 5/5 in my grid Smile
A very challenging multi that took me a good 3 hours all up but very satisfying to complete
Thanks JDogMonkey for the cache Smile

We'll be checking this cache over the next few months and making some changes.

15-Jul-17
Pfff, picked up on this one on the day it was published and I was visiting a local event. Heard there that there were a few isssues, but still gave it a go and sure didn't get very far. Since this I returned on 4 different occassions and slowly worked my way through the waypoint. I am the first to admit that I did make a few calls and emails to get some help. Without this help it would be a 6/6?

We will get someone to check cache as soon as we can.

03-Jun-17
We made our return to Goulburn, 6 weeks after our last visit, where we got stuck on WP7. This time we had a hint from Roostaman, who is a top bloke. Previously we searched the vacant, bushy block of about 50m by 50m for at least 45 minutes. We didn't think it would be hidden close to the road. This time we found it in less than 45 seconds. We actually found the container sitting on the ground, out in the open. We replaced it in the tree at Dan's head height, 2m, wedged in with some wood. Then on to WP8 - found quickly. Then we realised we had left all our numbers, from each cache, at home in Camden. So we thought we would re-do each waypoint. We quickly found WP6, 1 and 2. Then found that WP3 has been washed away. What to do? Wait till another day? No, we are too impatient. We rang our son and asked him to look up our caching filing system and read out the numbers for WP 3, 4 and 5. GR8. We had to bribe him with a freezer pack of Bryants pies. Fortunately, we found the cache after a few minutes, after we widened our search radius. What an epic adventure. We could only do this cache as we had a good knowledge of Goulburn, as we had previously lived here. TFTC

03-Jun-17
After our return visit today, we found that WP3 is definitely missing.

18-Apr-17
Had a great time walking from WP1 through to WP5. As we were former locals we knew the locations implied in the hints. Then we had to drive to WP6. Had trouble here, as we missed the obvious. In fact, we had given up and started to drive away, and only then noticed where to look. Now, the tricky WP7. We went to one spot and had a search, then went around the corner. Better. However, after a lengthy search, we had to give up. Like everyone else before us, we need another hint. Thanks for the exercise and bringing back memories as we travelled through Goulburn.

14-Apr-17
Another Goulburn blitz today! Managed 15 finds, with 2 DNF's.

15th and last cache of the day. I had my eyes on this one for it's desirable D/T rating.
It took me 3 Hours 15 Minutes to complete - even then, I had some help!!!

@2:47pm - WP1 was a doozey! The coordinates had me 10m out. I was searching the obvious spots, until my attention was drawn a little higher than anticipated. After reading WP1 the weight of the Multi dawned on me - I was definitely going to have to work for it!

@2:59pm - WP2 was a little easier that the first. A pair of gloves comes in handy. Eventually I turned up the container.

@3:09pm - WP3 was easier yet again. Read the instructions rather literally. Somewhat unorthodox - hopefully it lasts!

@3:20pm - WP4 wasn't found by me! I met Roostaman in the vicinity. He came up with the hide! Height comes in handy!

@3:46pm - WP5 was harder than expected. I misread the instruction and was checking around the block, however we recalculated and tried some of the various spots. We eventually got it right and it was at the first place I looked.

@4:00pm - WP6 was the most pleasant WP of the cache. It didn't take long to spot the container, however I would imaging this could be potential trickier than I experienced!

@5:44pm - WP7 really stumped me. The instruction was VERY unclear! The answer is not as obvious as previous WP's. It took 1Hr44Min of searching the whole stretch of block to come up with the hide. I resorted to asking for help from 2 previous finders and the CO. Finally made the find. The clue for this WP might need rethinking, especially the address.

@6:00pm - WP8 was reasonably quick. Had to wait for a few muggles to move along, and with the sunlight going down, we resorted to a bit of torchlight. I made the find after a few minutes searching around. Nice and easy.

Couldn't resist giving GZ a miss till next time I was down. So a quick drive bought Roostaman and myself to the area that led to the cache! A quick and short walk aided by phone light resulted in finding the final cache!

Overall - this cache was a unique way of presenting a Multicache! Some aspects work well, while others might need some fine tuning to make this cache the best it can be. Thanks for your tour of Goulburn, it was definitely something different.

**# 16609** Found on the start of our 2017 winter escape trip. Wink
1st day in Goulburn and time for a few caches while driving around.
A nice sunny day with lots of muggles around. Wink
I was going to do this one over a couple of days on the weekend while driving around.
But I had trouble at the first couple of WP's and had to elicit some help from the CO.
A couple of WP's were a bit easier but the clues were difficult for a non-local.
I met up with Muppet95 and we teamed up at a couple of WP's thankfully.
The extra eyes and ideas of another person also helped a lot.
So in the end we got the maths right and just got to GZ in failing light.
I see everyone has trouble at WP7 and agree the does need to be updated a bit.
The D5 is correct as it is, but very difficult to locate 7 without some assistance.
Thanks for the cache JDogMonkey,

Finally got to a local event again. Thanks for organising JDogMonkey.
Great to catch up with one, and meet another couple of local cachers. And also to meet an out-of-towner, Roostaman. Happy hunting in the Goulburn area this weekend.

ZQX, TikvaNZ and I decided to try our luck exploring Goulburn. We departed Canberra just after 6am, picked up coffee at the Big M and began. Hunted around WP1 but found the container. Quick find at WP2, thankfully. Another quick find at WP3 - TikvaNZ had his eye in! WP4 took a bit of searching, but again TikvaNZ found the nano. Paper is getting worn at the bottom.

WP5 was a quick find. WP6 was also a quick find, once we figured out what we were to look for. WP7 was our nemesis - took ages due to the challenging nature of the clue. After getting guidance from CO, we found the right spot and the container. WP8 was a quick find.

Figured out GZ coords, but got some adjustment from CO. TikvaNZ made the find. Overall, a fun morning around Goulburn. TFTC JDogMonkey

I had attempted this cache back on the day when the Diggers event was on. TikvaNZ and I had spent some time looking for WP1 before calling off the search. Since then the CO has made some adjustments and I thought it might be good to try the cache again today. I roped some friends (TikvaNZ and Fox in Jox) into it, which made the whole experience very enjoyable. With three brains and three sets of eyes, we powered on for the first six waypoints, visiting a number of interesting places and meeting some curious but friendly locals, one of whom provided some useful local knowledge. During this part of the journey teamwork came in very handy. This is one cache where if I'd done it on my own, it might have taken half a dozen visits to Goulburn!
As Fox in Jox has said, the information we found at waypoint six confused us such that we spent a long time looking for waypoint seven. I did a lot of climbing trees during this phase of the adventure, thoroughly investigating what I thought were some plausible possibilities. Use the geocaching(R) app, I messaged the CO and received some assistance in the form of some more specific information. With the additional information, we were able to reduce the search area and come up with the goods. Then off to waypoint eight, which was my favourite waypoint of them all. There are lots of places to hide something there! So we split up and searched methodically, and I managed to spot something that looked slightly out of place. Then it was off to GZ. Once again the app came in handy, as the CO was able to fine-tune our coords so that they were spot-on, which enabled a quick find at GZ by TikvaNZ. It was high fives all round - a successful geo-mission!
Thanks JDogMonkey for putting out this cache, which took us to several interesting locations around Goulburn. I think that with a bit of tweaking of the info at waypoint six, the cache will be in pretty good shape and ready for more visits.
Thanks to my companions for the fun, for putting up with my appalling sense of humour, and for listening to my crazy, evil geocache trolling ideas. We came up with an interesting idea for a GIFF entry along the way.

Last night ZQX, Fox in Jox and I settled on a plan for today to conquer this cache. We departed Canberra soon after 6am, stopped to refuel at MacDonalds as we entered Goulburn, then came straight to WP1 of this cache. ZQX and I had attempted it unsuccessfully once before. This morning we got off to a good start with ZQX soon laying hands on the WP. WPs 2 & 3 were quickly in hand. WP4 took a bit longer. WP5 was found before I got there with the car (the others had walked and I overshot). WP5 was again quickly found once we got to the right spot. WP7 proved problematic requiring assistance from the CO to get to the right location. Another quick find at WP8 and then off to the final. A little bit of confusion with the numbers but we were soon put right followed by a quick find. About 1.5 hours all up. The morning started very fresh but soon warmed up into a lovely day. TFTC.

Found with bellaatwaggy with lots of help from the previous two finders.

Nice idea but needs some work.
Wp1 was at least 10m off
Wp2 had an extremely large search area
Wp3 was in a spot that won't survive another rainy day
Wp4 was ok
Wp5 was not bear what the clue said
Wp6 was ok
Wp7 didn't match the location of the clue, nor the address
Wp8 was OK
But the collected information didn't work out with the formula.
Thanks for the cache.

In town for the Sunday part of the Geo NSW Invasion event when doing a scan of local caches this one popped out. Some intel was sort at the event to see what might be involved physically and mentally. After realising between Noodles 22 we had enough equipment we headed off. We certainly saw many of the sites of town and some of the waypoints had us head scratching as the search areas could be large. Google was a good help as we did not have much local knowledge. We were very great full for a PAF line from a previous finder to get us through some teething issues with some way points. A bit of an epic that we see the CO is about to fine tune. Perhaps another local cacher can help as a Beta tester.
We had to PAF for the final corods as some things did not add up. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

We thought we would have a try at this cache and hopefully experience a tour of Goulburn places of interest as well. Found where the listed co-ordinates took us and found the first container some metres away. Opened the container to find a piece of paper with a description of the next location to look for. No specific information, no co-ordinates, no distance to project, no compass bearings, nothing. The description itself was open to interpretation, so we discussed different possibilities and decided to go and look for one of them. On arriving at a possible location we searched around for the type of container described, but we found nothing, even after extending the search considerably. Maybe we were not even in the right location at all. We talked about it and decided that if all the "hints" were like this we would not be able to get anywhere.
So we abandoned the search and moved on to find other caches.

Discovered J&J.au on the trail and joined forces for a first to find as we helped the CO iron out some glitches along the way. Tftc would have taken a lot of planning to get this one going!

We arrived in Goulburn to attend an event and we did some caching before the dinner. We started with this one and then met up with Nickletricecakes. We nutter through this and with the help from the CO we got to the final. Lot of work gone into this but it wasn't without some issues, without the Collective imput it would have been impossible to find. A bit of a tour around Goulburn and
A joint [*FTF*] for us. TFTC
