#107 and what a cache! This is a cracker! Took us a while and we definitely lost the path a couple of times. We persisted and finally got there. Thanks for all the effort. A definite favourite.
A big challenge but a lot of fun in a great location! The reflective pins were sometimes difficult to spot, although eventually we got through the garden. Close to the end we lost track of the pins and had to use info/photos in the logs here to work out where the GZ was. The cache itself was intact but quite damp from recent weather.
Found with Portstevo, spotted a few locals along the tour, most of the tags seem to be intact, perfect night for caching. Tftc!
Tftc. We came and explored the garden in the day time, found most of the markers but the trail went cold. Came back and night and before long were back on the trail. Never did we expect to end up where we did though! We spotted 2 possums on our way to gz. Very soggy log signed with red_ear_slider
Went during the day. Not a soul in sight. Love how geocaching takes you great places. Thank for tge link
21:59 Was fr ein toller verwunschender garten . Ohne Taschenlampe sehr gruselig. grsse aus Hildesheim !-------------21:59 What a great, enchanting garden. The small paths are beautifully laid out... the NC information is no longer in the best condition, but we found the right path and were very surprised about the second half. The final was then very well protected against mugglers. Not nice for the plants, but since this cache doesn't get solved that often, it's a good place. Discarded a Geocrety. Thank you for having this NC! It was very exciting when the spiders came out in the dark and covered the paths with their large webs. Very scary without a flashlight. Greetings from Hildesheim!
Quite disappointed to not be able to log this tonight, spent ~45 minutes looking for reflectors, going down paths and losing the path backtracking, checking every option. Made it all the way to the other side of the park but then lost the trail for good, will definitely need to come back another time

Out for an evening cache run on a stunning Saturday night in North Sydney with springtime weather and nobody in the secret garden, we had a wonderful time hunting for the next and the next and the next marker!
The first one was an easy find but the second took quite some perseverance - but keeping at the same altitude paid off to find the second one. In regards to the final Googlehihihi's log was very useful. Beyond that you are on your own
Logbook was soggy as, could do with a new log and ziplock bag. We scrawled our name though. Or at least R&T.
Another FP which is well earned thanks for providing an epic adventure through a magical place and a night we will never forget. So much to love about this cache!

Ooooh what an adventure. There were a number of times we wandered around lost, however, eventually found what we were looking for and were back on track and found it shortly before midnight. The logbook was soaked and tried three different pens with no luck. Received permission from the CO to log. Thanks for the adventure.
Upon spending if the day in the city for another day of map clearing, waited till dark and proceeded with torch. Following the tacks, lost them at a stage but still was able to find the next one. Been meaning to do this for quite some time, thanks 2qt2bst818
Quite the merry chase we were led on! A hot and humid night in Sidney, with nary a breeze blowing in the garden. ShadyLogic was quick to spot the first reflector but from there we had a helluva time finding the next. But find we did —not sure if there were a few shiny dots missing, we just muddled around til we found our way. Was glad to have a ToTT as well as my own phone light... Caused a stir with the nighttime critters, and even saw a family of possums —thought their eyes were a dot on the path at first, but they kept multiplying— also may be covered in overly friendly tiny spiders... But found the cache at last thanks to (again) ShadyLogic's perseverance and willingness to schlep a bit onto a less beaten path. Thank you for the adventure indeed! We'll definitely be coming back to the garden to see it by daylight, quite the magical place. Would never have ventured on through without this mystery to draw us on.

A thrilling hunt through the secret garden (and beyond)!
If you lose the trail chances are you should keep going in the logical direction until you pick it back up again.
This was a ton of fun, gets a favorite point from me!

Wowser what an adventurer
Found at 1850 and I was still hiding from random drunks in the park. On a Tuesday!
Maybe a geocache with friends not alone as a young female like me
Took about 30mins to make my way to the GZ, only back tracking a few finds. Log book was very damp, but it has been raining a lot recently.
Thanks for the cache!

Had been eyeing this cache for a while now. With daylight saving ended and sun setting early was a good time to now do. Met with Jennyfromthefarm and we wound our way through many paths going down down down and around about. I'd visited the garden a few times but only in daylight so was pretty cool at night. Quite a fun walk and further than I expected. We got close to GZ and after going up a bit far, we back tracked to try another route. Before long had found the cache. Thanks for a great night out.
Discobob3 and I had earmarked this one for the end of daylight savings and tonight was the night. Met nearby and did three other caches while waiting for it to get “dark enough”.
Several times we lost the trail and had to back track but there were more than enough fire tacks for us to find the way. Had to look at some logs for the end and did some head scratching. Came up with a logical GZ. Thanks GHHH for the log that helped.
Thanks to Wendy for making this awesome garden. Thanks to 2q2bst8 for the awesome adventure tonight!

So it has been a full year since we were in Sydney and we got a quick weekend visit in. We took the kids for a walk before bed. This was actually longer than expected after a couple of wrong turns. Well worth the walk and it seems there is more to this garden than I expected.
Thanks so much for the cache!
As mentioned- two dots were at the GZ but the cache was there.

TFTC. Really fun following and finding the tags. Beautiful garden especially at night and awesome views of the Harbor Bridge. This is definitely the best Mystery we've found yet. Took more than an hour for us to find it. When we found it, there were three tags marking the cache (a previous person said there were two) but anyway really good cache. Thanks 2qt2bstr818. Gets a Favorite Point from us for the very fun adventure, the creativity and the effort put into this cache.
Thanks for the cache. Came here a little earlier than sunset so we found some other caches nearby first. But once the sun had set, we went for this find we had been eyeing off for a while. We got to posted coords and started on the adventure, it was much longer than we thought! After searching and following the reflectors we found it! Great cache deserves a FP! TFTC
Not sure about the last marker it only had two markers not three.
But has to be one of our favourite caches ever

Had a try following the reflectors in daylight today. Followed them for a decent length but eventually lost the path and couldn’t find it again. Will have to come back at night one day.
A fun night! Lots of twists and turns. GZ a bit exposed. A couple were sitting on the steps nearby but soon moved on. TFTC
What a great night cache! Waterfist and I parked nearby and located the start point. Armed with flashlights we headed down the dark path. There were a few points where we lost the trail but got to GZ eventually... Only to find two muggles in the vicinity. Fortunately, they left after a while and we were able to retrieve the cache easily. Thanks for this well constructed adventure!
After grabbing a few others just before dark, I braved the breeze and followed the tacks. Eventually I made it to GZ where I spotted the container. TFTC
Came during the day and could still spot the reflectors thanks to starfish’s eagle eye. Found the cache and a friendly bush turkey at GZ. A fav point for this fun adventure!
A truly wonderful cache! Though I worry I'll be seeing little silver patches everywhere I go now
Found with the Adelaide Butt Pirate

Extremely scenic walk through a lovely garden. Dropped a fishy trackable as well. Found with Mr Siomiak, TFTC!
Out with MaudieJ for the day, just as fun in the day time, with no torch cool adventure through the most beautiful, 'Secret Garden' by the Harbour
After ALMOST calling it a dnf due to the lighting situation at one point, I took a moment to zero in on the marker and I was off again.
What a great trek around the gardens. Such a beautiful place.
A couple of the markers could use a look at, I noticed some were folded and almost hard to see. Then again, I was using my phone the whole time!!

We have been wanting to come looking for this cache for a long time but could not do so for various reasons. Geoson was in a mood to drive, (he is on his L's and needs the hours) so with rain falling we decided to come looking for this cache, (he also picked up night driving hours). The hardest part was finding unmetered parking for our car. We started off on our walk through the gardens and got stuck a few times when we couldn't see the following reflective tack. A bit of walking around invariably helped, though at one point, we spent a good 10 minutes trying to locate the next tack. to make matters worse one headlight's batteries ran out. Fortunately we had a spare torch with us. It was here that we decided to take a punt and walk in a certain direction, and were rewarded with a familiar glint. From then on it was relatively easy for us to get to GZ where a huge Huntsman was sitting on the cache hide. Thanks 2qt2bstr818 for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Must say that the garden are really worth checking out in the daytime. One does not realise how beautiful this place is in the dark. TFTC.
We set out full of the usual hope and expectations, especially as the cache had supposedly been found last night. We picked up the trail and followed it down the path, to the point where it took us down some steps to a T junction. Despite very extensive searching both left and right, no further reflectors were seen, and so this cache turned out the way night caches often do for us, with hopes dashed,
I love the secret garden, and this reflector trail made it even better! Bats were definitely in action and we stopped with whafe to stare at their feasting and fighting for a while. A great caching night to say good night to the Sydney city lights before moving away later this week. Sad but happy, TFTC! TB in, let its journey of mystery caches begin here

We’ve been keen to attempt this one for a long time as we’d never been to the secret garden, but the timing was never right. However, today, late in the afternoon with a heavy cloud cover and the threat of rain, we felt it was gloomy enough to at least make a start. As it turned out, we were able to complete the well designed and delineated trail and come up with the prize.
Of its type, this cache would have to be technically one of the best, and it's situated in such an exquisite location. Thanks 2qt2bstr818, definitely a favourite from me.

As we hadn’t been here before, we explored some of the secret garden before embarking on the tour when the light conditions became more favourable. It required a real team effort to negotiate our way through the meanderings of the trail. GZ was a bit of a surprise but we managed to make our way there and soon spotted the cache peering out from its hide.
Thank you 2qt2bstr818 for bringing us to this amazing place. I will definitely return for a better look about on a brighter day. A favourite from me too.

Unfortunately, couldn’t find the cache, messages the owner for update, possibly taken by muggles!
Hah! I’ve waited a year to return from California and try this one again. This time I had three helpers, Evan, Averi and Bruno. In addition, there appeared to be twice as many reflectors along the route as last time. Thanks for the upkeep and the really special cache.
The only downside was that there were almost no bird sounds this time. Maybe it was the dry weather. At any rate, this was lots of fun. Thanks!

Yes! Yes yes yes! This cache has been on my to do list for honestly forever. This was honestly one of my top 5 caches and I'm so glad I've been here! It's thundering and lightning but I didnt wait 5 hours to do this for a little water to ruin everything. If anyone knows of any more caches like this, send them my way!
Woohoo! First try not too hard! TFTC Fav most definitely!
(NOTE: You have to access the garden area at the final stage)

Nice one! One advantage of visiting a place in winter is the early darkness. Once my work was done for the day, I headed to my hotel, got changed and headed out again to find this night cache. GPS took me to the start of the trail and then it was torch on and away. This was a very cool trail to follow in and around, down and up. No problems here and a bit of a scramble to the final location and the cache was found. Thanks for the fun and TFTC, Biggles.
What a fun cache! I had a shot at this one about 12 months ago without luck and didn’t manage another night dash as the daylight became longer. Seeing the cache is back online and daylight is favourable I gave it another go on my extended walk home tonight.Had my new very bright bicycle light which was really great. Wow I progressed much further than expected and much further than my prior attempt. Hit the GZ and realised I was in for a physical challenge. Decided the iPhone light would attract less attention but it was a bit of a search before I happily found the nice container. Quick SL and retreated to safety. TFTC 2qt2bstr818 Another fav to you. #821

Had to replace some old points.
Be aware that the last part of the path is much more lit lately and you will have to be extra vigilant to find the marks
Rescued a Tb and places 2 new ones

i had a look last night and also as others say tacs are missing maybe this cache needs to be archived since its not being maintained
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Another dnf just left. Back again to have another go this time with a more powerful torch but same problem as last time. Start off well then tacks disapear then i find a couple then they all dissapear again. Found 4 possums. Do the required maimtenance or archive the cache.
we had a go at this tonight and as previous loggers said we started the search well then shortly after we lost the trail. found the odd reflecter but was unable to find the full trail or the final gz.
could owner check and replace any parts missing

Very disappointed I couldn’t figure this one out, despite an extra hint or two from the CO. I had spied this one as a top priority cache when planning our trip and really enjoyed the first section at night in the secret garden. Unfortunately I ran out of markers and was stopped dead halfway through. Tried a second time without luck. Worth the experience anyway! Cheers from Central California.
This is a wonderful caching experience. A gorgeous night in an empty garden, we found the starting marker and were on our way.
We were stalled at a few points but soon found the next marker after persisting. Suspect there may be one or two reflectors missing.
Oddly enough I was walking near the vicinity of gz the other day and thought it would make a great place to hide a cache. Little did I know I'd be back making a find.
All around excellent experience. Favourite from me.

Mystery Solved!
I went back today after a swim at North Sydney Pool, parked the bike up and went hunting in the last place I remember seeing the three dots together.
I looked around a fair bit and still had no idea where this could be.
Then it hit me. I looked at my surroundings, and realised there must have been some awful weather or something and that maybe the cache was buried in debris. Poking around, I soon saw a glimmer of plastic which turned out to be a much bigger cache than I expected. Also meant I had to dig more to get the darn thing out!
Thanks for the Pen! Turns out I forgot mine today,
Great cache and really enjoyed the firefly trail. FP from me

So I stopped off to check this one out after work one night, I can confirm the trail still exists and I managed to get to the final stop where the three reflectors are together.
However being in a suit and trying to remain inconspicuous whilst rummaging around with a flashlight was much harder now I know where to go I'll come back in the daylight - Thanks 2qt2bstr818 - Really enjoyed the trail, hopefully the find is just as rewarding

Yes, picked it up today, we went behind the construction works. Glad we did!
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Is the cache still there? Great walk through “my” garden were i start working in 1999 and become close friends of Wendy Whiteley. So i know the erea very well. Were end up by “work in progress”
What a fabulous wander through the gardens of Lavender Bay. GZ is currently fenced off as a construction zone, however we sneaked in under cover of darkness and made the find. GZ and cache are fine of the moment, however there is a risk that this cache could be destroyed as part of the works.

A magical place that my partner in darkness and I found it hard to be grumpy in. Part of this area was a lunchtime haunt in high-school days and I've always loved returning. There seemed like some large gaps in the early stages but picked up the trail each time after a few dead ends. Progress has added a final challenge which we overcame, each in our own way. Thanks 2qt2bstr818, a fave nightie for me.
Followed the train and got dead ended by some construction work. Made our way to the other side of the construction to find no trail so we're guessing that gz is (or was) somewhere in that construction.
Arrived after sundown. Shone the light, followed the clues for quite a while but lost my way eventually. Wandered here & there, admiring everything there was to see. What a fantastic place! Will have to come back to enjoy the whole garden in the daylight.
Couldn’t find the end of the trail, but thanks for placing a cache here

This cache has definitely earned a favourite point for me. Roped into this cache by ReverseG who had already done this cache, it was an amazing romp through the Night Garden which left me wanting more. I can't wait to visit this garden during the day!
Found the cache towards the end but kind of wishes that it hadn't ended. Thank you so much for sharing this special area with us!

This was a fun cache! We had a little trouble at times finding the markers especially at the track junctions but this added to the challenge. Fortunately there was nobody else in the garden as people would have found it quite odd - people with torches walking the paths calling out “I’ve found the next one”. Our only company was the occasional bat. Thanks for putting this great cache together. A favourite from us.
So this cache has been on my to-do list since being published. I have seen so many media reports of this park so it was a must do. But how to do the cache and get home before dark!? It's not really possible. Or is it...
I had decided I was never going to find this cache but misspalot had other ideas. Her keen eyes spotted something and then I spotted something and then we lost it. And then we found it. And so it continued...
An extremely pleasant walk that led us to a very appropriate GZ. Thanks for a most memorable cache!

For so long we had been planning to find this cache, first it was too late, then not late enough, then today we were about to give up and plot a next return with a car (?!) when I spotted something from the corner of my eye. Is this what we're looking for? Then we found another and another, then we were in too deep to leave for another day. Lots of spiralling and double tracking but we got better at it. It is at this point I wondered whether raindoctor was farsighted, cos he spotted them many meters ahead.
I am so glad we persevered with this because it made the find that much sweeter and that much more memorable. Now we can be ones that say "gotta come back and see this garden at night!"
Thank you for this special cache 2qt2bstr818!

Wow what an awesome adventure, never even knew this existed, thanks for bringing us here. Made the lovely stroll around the garden, once at GZ made a pretty quick find. Definitely worth a fav point due to location
What a walk beautiful views and lovely stroll through the garden. Didn't even know it existed. Fave point as we love these night ones! Tftc
What better way to spend Christmas day evening than giving ourselves a 2qt2 caching adventure! Very cool cache idea. We had a lot of fun following the glowing trail. Thanks for another great cache!
We came across this cache earlier today while Anominous Sign and I were working on some other caches. I knew what was he plotting as soon as he asked me when does the sun goes down. So we headed out to find this one just after dark. It was such a wonderful adventure at night. The view was amazing and the garden created plenty challenging. Thanks so much for the cache. It truly gave us a memorable Christmas.
I needed a little help but I was able to make the find.

Grab this one after getting nearby puzzle. Use the good torch on this one and it paid dividends in illuminating the way very well. Thanks 2qt2bstr818 for creating the cache. Cheers
We had spotted this was close to where we would be staying in Sydney. We are here from WA to celebrate Mrs Copwats birthday we had dinner at the Kirribilli club and after started our trail through the garden spectacular at night and fantastic in the day as explored it on our way to dinner TFTC This has to be amongst our favorites. Dropped off four trackables that have been in our care to continue thier journey.
This garden is a special place for me and Lok212325. It is a beautiful fairy tale of a garden full of magic and whimsy which why we've decided to get married here. For that reason this cache has been on top of my list for a while and so it was awesome to find this cache with Lok212325 today, exactly 1 year before the wedding. A favourite point from me. My first night cache and it was brilliant. Loved it. Lost the trail a few times, especially where the light was bright but got there in the end. I'll come back and give an fp next time I have one! Also fab to see such a large cache container (Hong Kong is the home of the micro cache!).
Wow this is a place to come and visit during the day. We did the walk and had to turn back and finally found it. Last markers were a bit hard to see
Had this one on our to do list for a while spending the night in the city we had our chance great garden would love to see in day time followed the markers a few hiccups then finally found
What a day. Been in the city all day. Started at centennial park at 9.00am. After diner took the train over to milson point to do this night cache. Followed all the bright lights until they ended. Took a while to locate the three but them cache was in hand and log signed. Will have to come back in day light hours to really enjoy this garden. In total today we have walked 18km. A good effect I think.
Wow what an epic tour! Almost lost the scent a few times but got there in the end. Lots of effort put in TFTC...
Loved it and a fav point is heading your way! The entire Geofamily joined in doing this cache this evening. After dinner at The Commodore we headed off, torches in hand, to follow the path. Geosons had heaps of funny finding and following the reflectors. I had fun wandering through the garden at night (a colleague had introduced me to the secret garden one lunchtime a while ago).
One of the paths we had to follow was closed and blocked off for repairs/renovation of an area, but it was easy enough to find a detour around and pick up the reflectors again on the other side of the work.
Made it to GZ and with a Huntsman watching us, soon had CIH. Like the previous finder I was pleased to discover we'd actually parked the car close to the end! SL, TFTC.

With it being holiday season and most things being on hold this week and with the beautiful weather I decided to give this a go tonight.
This is my fourth night cache but the first one done by myself and in the complete dark. The first was in partial light and numbers two and three were in a group after an event so this is a completely new experience.
I took geodog for protection - NOT. Just for his daily walk.
It turned out I parked about 50m from the final GZ but of course I didn't know that and walked from the geomobile to the starting co-ordinates. We followed the trail except one of us was very determined to go the opposite way at one point and wanted to go straight over the cliff at another.
Finally I spotted the three markers so I tied geodog to what turned out to be a twig but he was a good boy and stayed put while I clambered around hunting for the cache. Found, log signed!
I've been in this park before and around the harbour foreshore but not at night so geodog and I walked down to the harbour and along to Luna Park.
Its sooooo pretty!!!!
I tried to take some photos but geodog wouldn't stay still enough for them to turn out. I shall return!
