Out for the day doing the Little Fruit trail. Mmmm. Love oranges, especially navel oranges and tangelos.
Thanks RowenaD.
Thanks RowenaD.
Had a great time finding caches today as we journeyed back to Gore from Queenstown, took the long way via cromwell. Was a lovely mild winter's day, and although we found a few around Cromwell, I think we might have to come back and get the rest! TFTC loved the fruit series
On a 7 day caching trip with Nosynel. Seventh day on the road focusing on caches in Cromwell. Easily found. Thank you

It is our final full day on this Otago Road trip.. Thanks RowenaD for creating this hide. It was find 8738 for me.

Taking Aussie Pete back to the Queenstown airport to fly home. Did some of these the day he arrived so only fitting to do the rest on the day he leaves. Some of the fruit would be easy to source but others not so. Well done in doing this fruit trail. Very fitting for the area. Made us go down roads we have never been down before.
An early start for me this morning....out on a bike ride loop of Cromwell township to grab a pile of the fruit series caches. We are staying in the nearby campground for a week so plenty of time to explore the local area.
The plan was to cycle along the lake edge path...but seems to be closed for construction- so now going to follow the road.
Sorry for the repetitive logs - but a great cache series.

Once again it’s nice to see the effort that’s been put into hiding these fruits. What better on a bitingly cold windy day than to drive around burning up fossil fuels getting caches?
Today we made a nice little tour in Cromwell. Found a lot of fruit and some other nice caches. Thanks to all the CO's for maintaining the caches. TFTC.
It is time to do a little fruit shopping this morning.
These I do try to eat all year round.
Cheers for the cache.

Up staying in Clyde for a weekend and thought I would catch up on some of the caches around Cromwell - what an awesome series. Thanks to RowenaD for all your great work setting up this series. What fun for children and also for the child with in us grown ups.
Was disappointed to see LVL had been logging her online logs on a different date ( by 5 + months ) to when she actually visited the caches. Imagine if we all did that !

*A fresh new day seen me grabbing my vitamin ABC's while winter time dots are thin on the ground for August soon to be rectified with a push over the border ploughing new fields of Central Otago of it's green dots turning dozens of dates from one singular shade of green to a multiple darker green on the 'finds' table*. Navel Orange? maybe not, but Blood Orange is more on the nail for the colouring of the soft item although I haven't eaten them before, I have tried the fruit juice; an acquired taste. Soon had the pillcan in hand and removed the full log replaced late 2017, replacing it with a RITR slip which should be good for another thirty finders at the start of the new season. Thanks for getting us out of the car RowenaD.
A great way to spend a morning doing a lovely series of caches, Mr 5 absolutely loved it. Thanks for placing all these caches
I loved doing this series of caches, and seeing all the different cache containers. It was a very fun way to spent a morning, thanks for putting them all out. TFTC

On a geocaching adventure around the country with myself, my car and my tent. Drove almost 4000km and collected 170 caches over a week of roadtripping, camping and seeing the beautiful sights of New Zealand. Lots of fun and so many great caches were found, as well as a lot of DNF's. Apologies for copy paste post. Thank you to all cache owners. Day five driving from Lake Hawea to Te Anau. Thank you for the cache

We have found this cache with Old Croman and Muller T. during our holiday in New Zealand. We really apreciate this trail, the caches were nicely done. Unfortunately the weather was not good, it was raining whole day. Some logbooks were full and wet.

Today we made a trip in and around Cromwell, thus visiting many sightseeing highlights. On this trip we searched, found and logged many caches, too. The weather was beautiful, sunny, very warm, no little bit cloudy, and only sometimes there was some wind.
Almost no muggels observed us as they had to drive their cars on the not too easy roads around here.
Thanks to RowenaD for showing us this location and for the fun we had at Little Fruit - Orange. The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

The youngest of the EU crew was involved in a hockey tournament for 3 days, so some great caching had between games. Enjoyed the Little Fruit series. TFTC
We headed out mid morning to do a few trails. These caches were very well placed and interesting. We got lots of enjoyment from it, one we DNF but as we discovered the style we went back and made the find.
Great morning for caching this part of the country

Many thanks to all the COs who helped make our geocaching holiday a great success
We left home early April and returned 21 May 2018. We toured from our home base up to a wedding in North Taranaki then carried on heading south right down through wellington and on down the west coast and back up via the eastern side of the alps some times going around in circles. Our aim was to get as many smiley faces on the puzzle caches that we had solved but of course stopping for many traditionals, multies and others as we went. some time we biked the bike trails or walked but mostly by campervan. we enjoyed the quite back country roads, many of them were metal but we just travelled along slowly going from cache to cache. Most caches were in good condition and I will remark if we thought it needs maintence etc.

One of 10 in this series that we located today – thanks for the effort that’s gone into them. Another very quick find. #1768. TFTC.
Came down to Alexandra for a wee Easter family holiday. After a fantastic busy few days we're now heading for Fairlie to spend the night (via Bendigo) before home to Christchurch. Thanks to daylight savings we got moving early enough that with a bit of time to spare Mrs TG (with Mr8s enthusiastic Yus!) suggested a wee detour before leaving Cromwell......ok....
..mmm....nothing beats a good navel orange...yum....
