Took longer than it should have but it was my first look at the lake today so I was distracted. Such a nice spot, so calm.

Disappointing to not find this after solving the puzzle. Our coords took us here to a pile of wood and indicated we needed to wade out into the water.

We are heading up the coast to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.

Out grabbing a few around this area while we are staying nearby, after having all the puzzles solved, before arriving. It is a lovely area to explore and do some walks.

The container was found after a short search, without any muggles about.

Nice to have a find after a couple of DNF in series

After having four DNF's in seven caches yesterday was a bit unsure how today would go. But all smileys today with this being the first. Thanks 3ferrets for the caches.

Feeling like a big cache run today, I quickly strung out about 20x caches to do as well as pickup some furniture at the end of the day. Found some old DNF's and collected or is that didn't collect a few more DNFs for a return one day. TFTC's and for once I had fun solving the Puzzles.

I am gradually catching up with my logging - am currently only a month and a bit behind. But that's still over 100 caches!

To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...

Only a few Adventure Labs and my First2Finds have been written up in a timely manner - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.

Nevertheless, I have kept up with my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.

Thanks to all the CO's who have made it possible to keep my goal in sight. Most of the finds have been Traditionals, but a few Puzzle series and the odd other cache type have been grabbed where possible.
Sorry the logs are very generic, but I'll never catch back up otherwise.

I'm trying to complete this series as my lockdown project, as I live in the area. I had previously solved all of the puzzles and how just have to find the caches!
Having now found a few of the others in the series, it seems my caching senses were switched on and I quickly found this one, plus two others today.
All in good condition. TFTC!

After looking for a few minutes we were spotted by a man who lived in the house across the way. After thinking the worst he quietly yelled out “are you looking for the thing” and we knew we were safe ?? quiet easy to find tftc

Out caching for the day with GeoIan. The neighbour overlooking this one was very rude and angry- see GeoIan's post. Just a warning about this cache, as the cache is situated at a location that is amongst his mess on the foreshore!

4/9 was our best effort today from this series.
Had a little trouble here with the muggle that lives behind this cache. We turned up, and OL Mate is on his veranda having a cigarette. So we take a seat in the shade, next door and wait. He is gone for a few minutes after finishing, so we go on the hunt. We have zeroed GZ, out in the water bout 10M so start looking at trees on the shore. OL Mate has come back out, so we continue pursuing our hobby, minding our own business, but this must have got the better of him. "Whats Ya Problem?" he bellows. "No problem mate!, are we on your land Mate?" "What do you think your doing" in a very aggressive tone he replies. "All good Mate, Do you have a problem Mate?" "you a smart ass" he replies. I ignore him, and Mad Rabbitoh finds the hide. Discreetly we sign the log, meanwhile his wife? has come out to join him, and give him some dutch courage. Cache is back in its hide, and off we go, ignoring him. He comes down and starts to follow us, calling out to us, so we just keep walking. He gives up when we don't react to him, like most bullies. I would say he will look for the cache, and if he finds it, its gone. He must have a guilty conscious about something.

Very windy here today. Made it hard to get the balls into the pockets. Had several goes to get this one there. Love the brown.

Out and about with EverestHigh and MaxAdventurer post St Valentine's Day after solving these all week.

We had pre-solved this very nice series of puzzles while back home in Africa before our current travels to Australia, and so it was great to find ourselves in the right area today to come and search for the first 10 of the final locations. First we checked into the Big4 Caravan Park and then as soon as we had parked up we set off on what turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable and scenic 6.9 kilometre walk that we did over the last two and a half hours of daylight, arriving back at the Big4 Caravan Park just after sunset. We soon homed in on and found this one once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and for the puzzle. Greetings from Zimbabwe

We have spent a couple of nice days in Mannering Parks caravan park
We’ve rented a poolside villa and have started our cacher trip from there
We have solved the geoart caches already back home in Germany.
Weve took a beautiful walk around Mannering park today
Weve visited Wyee Point today and saw many cute kangaroos
Weve looked for all caches along the way
It took us a bit longer for some but most could be found quite quickly

Found on a quite interesting trip up and around the Lake Macquarie area!

Moved from Newcastle today, down to a previous short holiday destination Mannering Park, now that we have decided to go to the Stockton Event. Will work on the geo art and other small trails around the lake. So far so good, a couple of DNF's but going strong. tomorrow a full day caching, hopefully we will bag quite a few.

We set up camp at a caravan park at Mannering Park and positioned ourselves so we could head out and do this cache series which we were unfortunately not able to do when the event was on. We teamed up with the Snakepiters and enjoyed the comraderie that goes along with doing a trail like this one. We appreciate the effort afforded in placing this cache and series. Thanks to 3ferrets for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

On this cloudy morning we did this very nice GeoArt.
13 found it and 1 DNF. At GZ most of them was easy to find.

A few days off and one of those days allocated to driving up to Morisset and surrounding area. Main attentioned is the "Be My Cachetine" series as well as part of the 'OZ Geomuster' series.
It was a great day with many finds in tranquil towns, along quiet road and great views of Lake Macquarie

What a great way to start the morning, walking along the the shoreline of the lake. It feels like I am walking through the backyards of the neighbouring houses.

After a morning at the Oz Geo Muster site, catching up with friends and attending the site activities, we ventured out to enjoy the scenery and hopefully add a few more smileys to our geo-map.
Having solved the puzzles some time back, we chanced another quirky day to collect - April Fools' Day! Certainly needed the extra eyes of Crank1, Everlasting, Dranyer, Pwala, skyejam & sevabo to locate a number of the hides.

Satellites today had our GZ 7metres WNW of where we found the cache.

Day two for us and we were back to make the collect on the rest of the OZGM & also the Cachentine series.

Most of the series were easy finds with only a few needing a bit more of a search.
