This cache has has had a finder recently who rather than simply accepting a DNF has placed their own container and claimed a find. This is known as a "throw down" and has become so common that it even has it's own [help centre article](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=427).>A throwdown is a container placed by a geocacher who cannot find the original cache.>Some geocachers place throwdowns so that they can log a find on a cache that they suspect is missing. Geocaches should never be replaced without the permission of the cache owner. This can lead to multiple containers, geocacher confusion, and disputes about whether someone is entitled to log a find or not.I'm disabling this cache so that the cache owner can perform their own maintenance on the cache in line with their requirements. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 4 weeks) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 4 weeks to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.Ngaambul - Matt
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying a week or so in Yass, today we headed out late morning. Fantastic warm weather today, woo hoo! Headed south today looking for caches as we head towards a major milestone.TFTC LisetteR73
Accompanied with ALL7, great enjoyed trip to YASS and catch up some caches on the country..Great fun today, TFTC P.S. Replaced new cache for you..
Find # 10684Making the most of the opportunity to duck out for a few hours/day of caching fun. Seeking out the occasional challenge or two, or trying to mop up as many solves as I can to keep that long list under control. Seems to increase faster than decrease Looking at my stats I have a personal goal to meet before year end and its not an altogether small one. BUT when Im on a mission anything could happen. So with this in mind I put the offer of a day caching out to my friend barb2e, and what do you know, shes been going stir crazy it seems and needs to get out. Oooeeeee! Loaded the geomobile with every TOTT I thought we just might need and lets go have some fun, indeed we did. Driving the backroads out the east of Murrumbateman to see what we can find. Thanks so much for the many caches Princess_Bogan and of course for giving me a reason and incentive to get out here, and to experience this part of the world in a different light
Find No: 9075. Visiting from Newcastle, heading home from the Rutherglen Mega, enjoying the multitude of caches in the area, replaced logs and containers along the way, thanks for the cache LisetteR73!!
A last hurrah for 2022 caching with The Rats today- into and then out of Canberra on some geotrails. A number of different caches were tackled on a hot day.
Took a minute to get us through the grass here before making the find.
TFTC!

Took advantage of the public holiday to a bit caching with steeba as we tried to grab a few final caches before the end of 2202. Despite the heat we had a great day.

After a call asking if a wanted to get some caches, I drop everything and went out caching. TFTC
It’s good to get of the highway for some quieter caches. Searched in the likeliest spots and soon had the cache in hand. Slightly wet log but ok.
Thanks for the fun.
Thanks for the fun.
Out with Dty73 and Tankengine on a trip to Yass on a wet winters day.found in long grass.Kutgw
Left the highway to go and find a number of caches on the side road. This was the first of them.
**This Cache**
A quick find on a beautiful day! TFTC Princess_Bogan.
**Our Day**
A spur of the moment decision late morning and I was off with my caching colleague driving just north of the ACT to pick up a handful of traditional caches. It was an enjoyable road trip and we had lots of fun working together finding all but two caches. Of those two caches one was 9m up a tree, measured with my pole AND on private property so we were never going to get close either way. The other cache was one for which we searched for 40 minutes and couldn’t find even with a PAF. Just too clever for us today.
Many thx to ALL7 for her great sense of humour, caching skills with no hesitation to climb trees, find innovative solutions to extract tricky caches and her ability to find all those caches that were not quite on GZ.

#1999 A short diversion off the highway required here and a search in the long wet grass. Finally located the cache and spent the next few hours with very damp shoes and socks. Thanks again LisetteR73.
Finally grtting to stop for this one.
Thank you LisetteR73 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Found on a (reasonably) big day of caching on my way to my accommodation in Jugiong en route to the Wangaratta mega. An easy turn from the highway and a quick find at GZ. Sneakily hidden away. TFTC LisetteR73!
I was driving by and got a feeling that there HAD to be a cache in this area. I was 67m away.

Log was monody so replaced with write in the rain paper. Hopefully will live longer.
Boxing Day pickups while it’s cool. Lovely to be outside.
Thanks For getting me out and about Princess_Bogan

Found on a lovely Saturday drive with Blue Iris. Log needs replacing as it's wet.
Log was totally soaked and unusable so replaced with a new sheet. The washer is probably worn out. Tftc
Found it OK but the log is totally soaked. I placed date and initials on Wilberts sticker which was the only clear spot I could find.
The log is chockers and make sure you don't grab the thing which looks like a cache or you could be adding the words 'sweet chariots' to the hint! Thanks for this, Lisette.
5th find for today - Mumma Bear came up with the goods quickly. Don't mind the electric fence!
Cheers!
Cheers!
While still based at Yass we meandered around different localities finding caches. Yours was one we targetted and found. Our thanks to Princess_Bogan for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
While staying at Yass we took the opportunity to do some more caching with ilook4geo, mostly picking up caches between Yass and Murrumbateman. Some caches took a bit more finding than others, but it was basically a successful run. All logs found were initialled and put back with their containers as found. Thanks go to LisetteR73 for placing this cache.
The day was a reasonable one for weather, so went out with goingplaces2 for a caching run from Yass to Murrumbateman. We had a fun day and signed lots of logs with two lots of initials. TFTC.
Found by Mary and David at 14:05. Today, we cached a loop from Yass along the Yass River Road, and returning along Greenwood Road, Hillview Drive and the Barton Highway. The lovely weather continued and we enjoyed the quiet back roads. Enjoying some lovely coffee from the Murrumbateman Pub as we found this one. Our thanks to Princess_Bogan.

We are heading back home now after a very enjoyable and quite exhausting mega event we were limiting our caches to simple ones with off the main road parking just to break up the drive a bit and this little series filled the bill perfectly.
This looks like part of the old highway that took you to Canberra many years ago when Mr Crackers was driving interstae trucks in a previous life before Geocaching. That job would be so much easier these daqys. We pulled up and followed a well worn trail to gz where the cache was found in the second place we looked and our name was added to the log.
Whike signing the log we noticed how little feer there was in the nearby paddock, the cows in there seemed to be in really top condition. They must get their nutrients out of something we couldn't see.
Thanks LisetteR73 for the cache.

Time to leave Clear Waters, but that doesn’t stop us from finding a cache or three on the way home to Victoria! SL at 9.55am #6131 TFTC LisetteR73
Attending the Clear Water 2019 mega this Easter in Queanbeyan. Apologies for the generic log but we have found too many to compose individual logs. Many thanks to all the cache owners for their caches, which have been exceptional in their maintenance I have had only 1 dnf and that was only because I was not going to make a tree climb without seeing where the cache was. The vast majority of caches have had very good coordinates. Along with useful hints. TFTC
Found this cache during an epic three days at the mega event in clearwaters.
TFTC and placing this cache for our enjoyment.
This was a huge day for me - starting at 0430 and finishing at 1000 with 105 finds

Having a day north of Canberra caching with Aussie Liahona. Mainly doing the CO series but also collecting a few others along the way. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches for us to discover.
Beautiful day for the caching, found it quick with Everlasting . Thanks for organising the cache.
While staying in Yass waiting for the Mega we ventured out to find some caches TFTC
Caching in and around the area with Gullivers Travels54, we picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Suscoe was heading to Canberra today after a restful night in Gundagai.
We got an early start to collect a few more finds along the highways and on some of the quieter back roads.
It was great to see the sun rise over the hills and valleys.
We arrived in Canberra early afternoon.
Thanks to LisetteR73 for this hide.

Another Day of Geocaching

**The Day:**
The forecast for today's weather in Wagga Wagga was a top of 42 degrees, not weather I really want to be doing too much caching in! So I decided to beat the heat and woke up at 5:15am when it was only about 24 degrees, still quite warm for that time! I cached my heart out while it was coolish, by grabbing the 2001 cache "Kengal" first and then the "Bed-Rock" series before grabbing a few on the way back into Wagga until 10:30am when it was already 30+ degrees!
I then fueled up with some liquids and food before starting my drive back to Canberra, and only opting to grab some very quick park and grabs along the highway so as to not be in the heat for too long!
Overall quite a productive day despite the hot temperatures!
---
**This Series:**
Well, I was Incoming to Canberra today, but actually managed to pick up more Outgoing caches funnily enough! A lot of them were on small roads that you can safely and legally turn right onto, and then turn right back onto the highway!
So I managed to find 4 Incoming caches and 5 Outgoing caches whilst heading back to Canberra! Still had to miss a few here and there that weren't possible the way I was coming.
Thanks for the series Princess_Bogan, sorry for the generic logs but they were all fairly similar and quickly found in good condition!

A caching trip via the back roads to Yass and surrounds. Pulled up just off the highway and my GPS says it is 300 metres away and I am parked in the middle of a paddock !! There must be something wrong with my GPS ??
After continuing to Yass it dawned on me that the GPS mapping was old and the new highway was not marked on the GPS maps. I should have been on the old highway not the unmarked new highway. On the way home I turned off the new highway and went to it for a quick find. TFTC.
