Found at 1:56 PM GAFF1.Dampier (and Karratha) have had a total remodeling; modernisation since we were last here in 2011. Don't recognise the place! There were heaps of new roads and buildings - this place is thriving!Cache was found in a very logical spot with excellent co-ords and so glad that there were no muggles around.Thanks to dimorFeedback: The comment about claiming multiple finds is no longer relevant as Geocaching HQ have stopped that from being possible.

Found 14:05Three months of travelling in Western Australia with Muggle friends from the East coast; stopover in Singapore on the outward and return flights. Caches and labs where they are on the way and can be done without too much effort. You may forgive me for using the same standard phrase everywhere, but there's not much more to it than that. Many thanks to all the owners for making our hobby possible. If there is anything wrong with the cache, more detailed information follows.

Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia. We spent four nights in the north-west, staying at De Grey River near Port Hedland, Point Samson, Dampier and SW of Karratha to target a selection of caches while in the general area. Thanks for the cache dimor!

Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite. We camped at Point Samson last night, then made our way to Karratha, finding a few caches of interest along the way.It began raining early this morning and we are enjoying a cool day today.The cache was quickly found, signed and replaced.We ended up returning here for a couple of beers and a bbq as the sun went down.Thanks dimor for the cache.

We came for the markets, but given they got washed out, it was time for some caching. The rain, however, assisted us with this one. No stealth needed today. Tftc

I agree with the title. I arrived at GZ and thought this is going to be a challenge. I was surprised when I came up with the goods quite quickly. Took some photos of some big ships while I was here. Tftc

#782 ~ Found the sneaky little bugger tucked away. Thought I was going to have to give up when one last look revealed the carefully hidden cache. Ended up with Pilbra Dust all over my hands . TFTC!!

Out for a road trip up north to try out our new camper and grabing a couple of caches on the way.
Out for an early morning walk while staying in Dampier and this wasn't too far away. It was a quick find.

Once again BlueSamurai saves the day with this find. I was looking for something smaller. TFTC

Checked on this cache and it is still there. Obviously have trained Mr dimor well as at this one as he knew where to look more than I did (in my defence I was only centimetres away)

Search for 30 minutes couldn’t find

3rd time lucky. Fortunately as this is my last trip to Karratha for a while. Very tricky find. TFTC.
GPS not precise but within a few metres.

Not sure if we are doing this right because we are struggling to find a lot of these.

Day 13 of our 3 week break in the north, we spent the day exploring the sights of Dampier... & this was one of the caches we found in the area

Looked mutiple occassions could not find hopefully another time

I looked all over for 20 minutes with no luck. Even sitting down to have a think didn't produce results. Maybe next time...

Another trip back home and another caching adventure, happy to say we came up trumps here and walked away with a smiley TFTC

It is a great spot but very popular during school holidays. Too many onlookers for a good search. Will revisit this one.

Stopped in here as I couldn’t get near the other geo I looked for this morning. Well, as soon as I crossed the road the tourists sitting in the shade on the beach decided they didn’t like the sand anymore and moved up to the tables here. It’s just not my day I’ll stick with the virtuals I’ve located today and head home now. Hopefully I’ll be up this way again some day soonish

First name on a brand new log. Quick find once I put my hand in the correct place. Nice area here, which was muggle free. Many boats out on the water enjoying a beautiful afternoon. Thanks Dimor for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Could only find a magnet so it seems cache was missing. Was nearby so cache has been replaced.

Have today checked this cache and it is where it is supposed to be.

Got a battlescar but couldn't find it. Still new at this game.

Found it but took longer than it should all is good with the cache on a road trip from Tassie TFTC

We are back in Dampier on a return visit after coming here 4 and 8 years ago. The place still looks familiar though we notice a few new features in the area.
After visiting Red Dog up the hill we cam down here to look for this cache and a nice refreshing swim. No sharks about today as in the film!
Mrs SKI again found this one in a logical place where I had already looked.
