Good cache not to hard to find good for beginners although i slipped and fell, be carefull with the terrain!
TFTC my coordinates had me standing on the track saying 9m off. The clue helped and I had a bit of a search with some luck. Being careful its slippery
Cache was in a bit of rough shape. Good hide on a very scenic trail. Thanks for getting me outside. Greetings from Vancouver, BC. TFTC!
Quick find on our way to find a big mint tin before the CCC#41 @ Galston. OCW Brewmaker. TFTC

Another enjoyable day's caching with morty8888. Today we headed from the coast to the hills to get away from the coastal showers. Most caches were either off fire trails or bush tracks.
We walked to the other side of this large sporting complex down past the back of the cemetery to find this cache.
Thanks for placing this cache Purplepeopleater.

With the rain holding off and the Hills calling, it was the perfect combo for a day with Oldmorty.
Back to the fire trail where we soon had the prize in our hands. TFTC!

Companions: None
Muggles: None
Weather: Windy spring morning
Cache condition: Good
After finding the caches in CHHP I headed through the streets towards this cache. I approached from Cairngorm Ave, and found myself needing to go off-piste to cross the creek and get close to the cache. Once there the find was fine (TNLNSL), after which I headed east along the track and back to my car. TFTC

Out for a lovely nature walk with my muggle friend Loz and decided to grab the last 2 caches around here that I hadn't claimed yet. After finding nearby Jonah, we came here and made the find pretty quickly. TFTC
Cool find nice spot never been on this trail before probably coming more often now
With a few hours to spare it was great to just get out and find a cache...having been flooded in over the last couple of weeks. That said, we parked at Cairngorn Avenue and immediately had a deja vu moment ...not realising at th etime that we had found the original iteration some five years ago! Needless to say it was a quick find at GZ. With the cache in hand we signed the log before replacing as found. Thanks for the cache Purplepeopleater.

It was nice to get out into the bush, even if it was only for a short time.
Thanks.

Beware in wet weather! It will be slippery going up and downhill. Also a tree fell down while we were trying to find the cache.
Found after a search as GPS was wandering. Creek is dry today. Top of cache is broken and needs TLC. Ant stung Darwould on the leg through Jeans while searching. TFTC Darwould and Plus Elle from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
We had been meaning to find this one for a long time and when we walked past we couldn’t resist the temptation. Quick find SL TFTC
Tftc. Quick find on a cool wet morning. Log is dry and ok. Nice walk in a little bush area I didn't know was here. Thanks for showing me this shortcut
Thursday is comp tennis day and this is the nearest unfound to today's venue.
I left home extra early so I could make the find before tennis, but of course all that extra time was spent getting across Pennant Hills Road...grrr.
I came here to the cache area anyway and ended up late for tennis - naughty me!
I found some steps accessing the track below and then followed the track for a short distance. The GPS then wanted me on the other side of the creek. Does the track go round? Not enough time to follow it to find out so I just bush bashed my way across where I found another track. At this point I had to resort to the hint to speed things up. A quick search and the cache was spotted, SL and replaced as found.
I followed the track a bit then resorted to the bush method then had a bit of difficulty finding those steps but all good in the end.
(And I didn't let the tennis team down as I won all my sets and served 3 aces - very happy with all today's successses!

Parked the car at the start of the trail and then had a lovely walk to GZ listening to the birds. The cache was found after a short search. The log was signed and then the cache was replaced as found. Thank you Purplepeopleater for placing this cache.
An excellent trail.
Headed down here from Cobblestone Ct, was concerned there wasn't a trail, but sure enough, there it was at the end. Does not seem like a lot of people use this method to get down.
Good clear signs on the path, continued through some great scenery and ferns before arriving at GZ and scrambling a little for the find. Nice bit of exercise on a very pretty trail.
Thanks for the cache!

really easy and quick find!! loved the little toy animals, but the pen didn’t work! TFTC
Quick find along the peaceful trail, spied the Hornet TB inside the container, thanks PPE
Our second geocache ever. Loving this game. Came with grandad. K2 logged today.
Pretty little walk, got down to the creek and saw 2 potential paths, obviously picked the wrong one first, then had to come back and take the other. Soon found the cache, lid appears to be broken and was found a short way away. Put it back together as best I could. TFTC
A little walk, where I'd been before. Still a nice place if you don't look up and see the houses. You could almost think your were deep in the bush. I walked towards GZ, then searched and saw the hiding cache. SL and replaced. Thanx PPE
A great spot on a pleasant stroll in the bush.
Thanks for the cache Purplepeopleater, took nothing, left nothing (except my pen, which may have dropped from my pocket!), trackables visited and I signed the log.

Just a short stroll from car parking spot to reach GZ. Then a little bit of searching to locate the cache. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Stopped off on my way back home from the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road Dural, to find this one. It had been a fun filled morning of HAM radio junk scrounging, and a nice BBQ lunch with lots of friendly chit chat, but now it was time to collect some more caches on the homeward journey. This was the 7th of 15 finds, and 1 DNF, for the day.
Parked the geomobile in Cairngorme Avenue and then ducked down the access pathway between the houses to reach the bush reserve. Followed the bush track down to the creek, crossed over the creek then headed up to GZ. Quickly uncovered the hide and had CIH. Signed the log, picked up the TB, and then replaced the cache container as found. TFTC Purplepeopleater.

Parked at the gate and followed the track up to GZ. The cache was quickly found and the log signed. Dropped off a TB, 'Marbles'.
Located at 6:49pm. Wanting to bump up my numbers to 500, I decided to tackle some of the Glenhaven, Rouse Hill and Kenthurst areas after work. This was my first find of the evening. Thank you for the pleasant little journey to find this one. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
I did a few laps around the suburbs before finding my way to the parking spot. The walk was much quicker.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
What a lovely walk through the bush, bit scared of all the bugs to be honest (Im from The Netherlands). Found the cache together with my girlfriend.
Early morning visit before the rain or heat( who knows which) gets going. Last find for 2017.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Took a bit to find but then I thought "where would I hide a cache here " and voila! There it was! TFTC
1st cache today this morning. It was quite chilly but worth the walk. I quickly spied the cache and headed over towards it. It is a quite big cache! TFTC PPE.
Found on a rainy morning. What a beautiful location. Master Q and I love these kinds of walks.

Moving house to a new area, also means there are a lot of new cache close to home waiting to be found. So today it was time to clear some caches around Castle Hill Creek.
It turned out to be a nice walk through bushland, with all caches found.
This was an easy find. Thanks for the cache.

#4316- I like little bush trails like this. The dog in the nearby house above went crazy though. The lid isn't holding too well so I tried to place it to keep the damp out. Thanks for the pleasant stroll.
We were passing and I remarked to MummyPenny that there was probably a PPE cache nearby. I pulled up in Cairngorm much to MummyPenny's surprise as she thought we'd be tracking through someone's loungeroom before she saw the the alley.
What a lovely, clean little creek. We stopped to absorb the calmness on our crossings.
Up at the trees, I spotted the lid of the cache first because it was separate to the container. No other signs of damage or dampness though so we signed and clicked it back together. Thanks PPE.

This must be heavenly on a hot summer day, mindful of snakes of course.
One could feel sorry for all the people who never find the bushy geocaches places!
We found the cache in a little disrepair though, wonder if the wombats had found it earlier.

Just passing through the area and saw that cache was nearby. Loved the walk into GZ and spotted the landmark mentioned in the hint. Searched a few places before coming up with the goods. Did the legals and replaced as found. This cache fits into my criteria of favourite point as it has a bushwalk. TFTCM

After finding "What's Flooding Gilbert Grape" we decided to walk over to this one, rather than making a longish drive because of the convoluted streets in this area. It was a pleasant stroll and we found a trail at the indicated trail head. Unfortunately, this trail didn't seem to be going in the right direction. However, we persevered and soon saw that there was a spot to cross the creek and get up to the trail on the other side.
Not long after the GPSr beeped to let us know we were close. I then looked out for the landmark and spotted the most likely place. A quick check around and I had the cache in hand.
The log signed and everything returned as found. Then it was time to head on home after a fun afternoon of caching.

This was a great short walk in the bush on a sunny morning with lots of noisy birds but too high up to see. All too soon we were near GZ and I could see where I needed to be. The cache was indeed there and I logged before returning to the car. I liked it so much I went back, to retrieve my GPS that I seemed to have left at GZ, which I have been known to do before now. It was not there and turned out to be under my car seat all the time. Thanks Purplepeopleater for another great hide. We loved this area and the walk in.
Was out this way and thought I'd better pick up this cache as I'd found the predecessor - 2011! Followed the trail in and nearly got cleaned up by a kid riding a mountain bike at a hell-for-leather pace. Got to GZ and went up to GZ eventually finding the cache. Lid seems to just fall off so needs a check. Signed the log and replaced. Saw my original log in there back when I used to do a lot more caching. Haven't found much at all this year. That should change soon.
Thanks!
Thanks!
My 999th find! It was great to return to this wonderful area after finding the original here over four years ago.
I have another cache in mind for my 1,000th. Hopefully I can achieve this milestone soon as it has been a long time coming.
Thanks for restoring this cache, Purplepeopleater.

We came in via the Cairngorn trail head not remembering we had to negotiate two creek crossings to get to GZ. Thankfully, there hasn’t been much rain lately and we were soon at a familiar spot.
It was interesting to see our old logs of 23 January 2013 still extant.
Thanks for replacing this cache PPE, but I feel a little guilty that it has taken the lure of a smiley to bring us back for a stroll in this lovely setting.

The river crossing was about four metres wide today and it made for an exciting rock GOP to a cache I first found around five years ago!?!

1/3/17. 11:27 AM. Cache #4793.
1st of 7 finds (& 2 DNFs) - Castle Hill, Windsor, Clarendon, Richmond & Richmond Lowlands.
The purple one has been quite busy of late, with 4 new caches published last month. But the other three are evil puzzles that I'm struggling with (as is everyone, apparently), so only this one gets a smiley for now.
I was heading out to the Hawkesbury area for some caching today, but diverted to this on the way out. It's 18 months since I found the original (8/9/15) & remember that this was a nice area of bushland, so it's good to come back for the redux. This time I came via the Linksley Ave trail, which I recognised as the WP2 of the original.
From here, a short creek crossing (higher than usual due to recent rain) and then on to GZ, which did not ring any bells. Still, I followed the hint and soon counted the right number of things. A longer search than expected, but then turned up the cache. Signed the log book... again (seeing as it's the same log book from the multi) and then rehid everything. Next off to "On the trail of Macquarie". TFTC.

Finally found some time to sit down and catch up on my logs, some I have good memories of and others were just another cache on just another day.
This cache was found on a Saturday morning, with geodog #2 in a little drizzling rain. I remember sliding down the embankment trying to get to the cache and found an easier way back down to the track. Cache lid was not clicked into place but I made sure it was when I replaced it. SL #2922 on streak day #1696 TFTC

I'm not sure if the cap to the container is supposed to be the way it is? It definitely isn't waterproof.
A few dogs heralded my early morning walk into this nice spot.

I was just pulling out of the driveway to head towards Ryde for my calendar gap cache when I saw this one published. It's about the same distance and there was a very faint glimmer of a chance for first to find. Pennant Hills Rd put some more doubt in that venture but I might as well keep going.
Parking near the Linksley Ave trail entrance, I saw a familiar vehicle so figured I was no chance and sure enough, fifty meters further down the trail I crossed paths with GH and Tardis0061 who were on their way back. It was only then I realised I had been here before to do the multi. That made it a very quick and familiar find. SL as TTF and had some problems getting the container lid to stay on.
On my return, found previous finders still at the creek so joined them for a nice geoChat.
Thanks PPE for keeping this one going even if in slightly different form.
