We found the cache container and it is in a very sad way. We placed a new log sheet into a plastic bag and placed it into what is left of the container. SL TFTC
Off the beaten track this one, but the GPS was pretty close here. Pretty random spot but very findable!
In order to continue my streak doubling my finds to 1000 in 2 months, I decided to visit the Bellarine Peninsula on the other side of Port Phillip Bay for the day.
This cache was the start of my day fighting thousands of mosquitos. By the days end I was covered in bites. They were relentless as was my need to make it to 1000 finds by 29 Feb.. so I put up with it just short of going nuts.
Nice little creation. FP from me.
I couldn’t get part of this cache open to log. Happy to provide photo proof if necessary.

La météo est mi-figue mi_raisin mais j'en profite pour visiter la côte ouest de la baie. Il y a de belle cache bien réalisée. Merci aux poseurs
TFTC. We had left Ballarat this morning and headed to Geelong to take part in the events on Saturday. After setting up we headed to Point Henry specifically to find Bay Views to fill in a date on our Ausmer grid. Once done we started on the Point Henry and Leopold series. The views we great but the rubbish around some of the caches was a sad reflection.
lol, fooled us loved this have a fav from us. We also replaced the log as it was mushy. If you need the old one let us know in the next few days. thank you for this cache. tnln. sl. Staying with family after the Mega.Just spent a beautiful few hours in the local country side. tnln sl
*log is wet, but signable*
After heading back down the road we decided to make the detour to find these ones, well we hoped we would. Usually I’m the driver and Sean.75 is the navigator, but today we are clocking up the kms on Zygys new tyres. Great cache!! Tftc

It was another day of very strong winds. There was no interest in staying home, so a caching day with ilook4geo was organised. Caches found were around Point Henry, some around Leopold and some along the G2Q trail with just a few others. Some we listed we did not bother trying to find as the access to GZ was still flooded.
Thank you to each of the COs for placing the caches we did find.

Had a good day out picking up some caches today along with goingplaces2. Skipped a few that were not easily accessible due to flooded access. Enjoyed each find, signed each log, put all back into place and moved on. TFTC.
found lock but didn't open because we couldn't get the combination numbers to turn.
Good cache. Didn’t log though because it was wet and didn’t want to wreak the roll of paper.
Nice little hide. Didn't sign the log as it was quite a wet day, and those micro logs fall apart when they're wet!
It has been some time since we last cached in the Point Henry area. Today we returned to look for one cache that we missed during our previous visit and to look for others published since.
Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. However when we first saw the cache we thought that it was going to be more complicated than we had anticipated. On closer inspection we were able to ignore the red herrings. Then we discovered the other problem - the cache was teeming with ants which appear to have set up home either in the cache container or at the hide location. Apart from the ants, the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks deshut for this and other caches in the area.

I had fun finding the right way to get into this one, a the road is certainly not one of Victoria's greatest! Anyway, parked opposite GZ and had the cache in hand quickly. Thanks to deshut for this one
Found It while out here watching the Australia Day fireworks. Pulled up to GZ and a quick search soon had the container in hand and with the log signed we continued our journey. Thanks deshut for the cache
We found Point Henry 13 on our Geelong day trip. The Chief just had to open the lock in case I’d signed a red herring!
Thanks deshut for placing this cache and being a part of out geocaching adventure

Bit of peddling from the windmill series had us here. Cache soon found and opened, without using a hammer!
Thanks
Thanks
#15145. Travelling with Robmc and howjen567 towards Point Lonsdale. With bicycles on board we turned for Point Henry and the few caches we haven't yet collected around here.
Around the corner, and around the next corner and here we are. Sneaky and amusing. Third group on the new log sheet so all good here.
Noted piles of rubbish further down the road. Not sure why people think it is OK to do this.
Thanks deshut

Loaded up the Deadly Treadlies for a trip to Geelong. Travelled on this hot day with BettyBoo3747 and Howjen567 to see what we could find.
Oh no, a Lock!
Fortunately, easily worked out.
Very cute though.
Thanks, Robmc.

After attending a CITO event on the Barwon I then went out in search of more caches to find and after finding 2 caches at Point Henry some time ago, I decided to try and finish off the area But I wasn't able to do it with one DNF, it still leaves me one to find.
**Thanks to deshut for placing this cache.**

Firstly, apologies for the lateness in logging.
Despite my tardiness, you can be assured I enjoyed each and every cache found and not found.
Apologies if this is a generic log, my memory is good, but not that good.
On this day I was out with Sorceysal and Tessie the geodog
Thanks again deshut, adding a fave here

Out and about with Bogonghazy to try and reach the 5000 milestone. Did the first part of this series sometime ago and it was great to be able to finish it off. Thanks for your efforts

My mother was visiting me from South Australia and I did sorta have an aim to find all the Hidden Creatures but I don't think that will happen as after today I have only found 19 caches of the 100 to find all the Hidden Creatures and the university trimester is beginning to get on top of me. We were going to do the G2Q along the rail trail but I remembered at the last minute that it is a walking path and neither of us wanted to walk nor did we really have the time for that so the upon looking at the map, we found that there were a number close together in Point Henry (a place that to be honest, I didn't really realise existed - although my knowledge of Victoria is fairly limited to the about 5km around Deakin Waurn Ponds campus.
A very cool cache that clearly has had some love, care, and thought put into it. It definitely deserves a FP. It did take me a small while to find though because despite being a geocacher I had a really, really bad sense of direction (and my mother's isn't much better). Seriously which way is west? In hindsight, I could have just used the compass in my phone but I didn't think of that at the time. Upon finding the old post, it really helped with the directionality issues. I worked out the code for the lock through some trial and error and then realised that I didn't need to? Very confused. Still a good experience. TFTC.

Found it out and about with annabella02 , I do like a nice and sneaky one ( rather than snakey !) tftc
On my way around the bay today! After leaving from Red Hill this morning we headed for home for a brief stop off before setting off again this time down to Ocean Grove. If we didn't have to pick up the kids it would have been much easier to just catch the ferry across, however it did give me an excuse to stop along the way to search for a few caches. I'd had my eye on this cluster of hides around Point Henry for a while so I figured now was as good a time as any.
I didn't have much light left so time was limited and made searching a bit more of a challenge but I managed to squeeze five of the hides in before completing the final stage of our travels.
Very clever construction here and a bit of a laugh when I actually uncovered the log. Thanks for the hides Deshut.
