Out and about today to continue with my personal challenge. It was good to have a break from the rain and I was not sure as to what I would find today, possibly a lot of wet logs. I needed a break from work so I headed out for a loop around trying to avoid wet areas and traffic, oh and the showers.
For some reason I had this one on my list as not claimed, I know I had found this one over 2 years ago. Looking at recent logs it seems to be missing so I thought I would head over and check. Yes I can confirm and sorry to say, it is not here.
Would be nice to get this one up and going again before it gets archived, cheers.

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.

If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Way too many muggles around. Probably worst time to be geocaching on a Sunday afternoon in a dog park. We did consider waiting around until a group of people to leave until we saw a guy rocked up with an esky.

17-Oct-21
Looked for a while but couldn’t find it sadly

31-Aug-21
No luck here today

Way to many muggle at this hour. With this many DNF’s attaches to it I’m wondering if it’s exceptionally well hidden or been misplaced. Might come back in the PM.

01-Jan-21
Had a quick look while noone was around and couldn't find the cache.

14-Dec-20
Checked everywhere. No muggles to interrupt. But came up empty

09-Nov-20
DNF! Lots of rubbish in the poles too

08-Nov-20
Not sure if I'm just out of practice or if it's gone, but someone's put up a bunch up Christmas lights around GZ which didn't spark confidence.

Unfortunately ended up with a DNF today but hopefully will nab this one someday! I frequent this dog park but hadn't got a chance to look until today as it's always been too busy.

I bought a new bike and today was my chance for a bigger test ride and legally being outside doing exercises.

No dogs here today. Found quickly.

Found wile out and about Gunnie69.

With the jewels all found, we had the information we needed to get the vault open. Today it was around Greenslopes and Coorparoo.

Thanks for the cache and hunt. Big Grin

Out for a few caches in the dark.
A nice evening for a few finds, good views of the nighttime city skyline.
Here it was now a single 4-legged muggle in sight!
Thank for this one

After work today I decided to pick up a smiley . It was too hot for any dogs to be here today so I was free to take my time here. After a bit of a search I could feel the cache and maneuver it out of its hiding spot. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy

Staying near by and with an hr to kill before work, went for a walk but without a K9. None here today so got to GZ and narrowed down the possibilities unit feeling what I came for. TFTC!

On a break in Woolloongabba, I thought I’d give this one a look-see. The park was deserted in the middle of the day on a week day, so I could search with relative ease. My arthritic fingers had a bit of trouble extracting the cache, but determination paid off. TFTC in a lovely oasis in a busy suburb.

31-Dec-18
A nice place to bring a pet. The clue helped and GZ was spot on. We also found a Qld Rock next to it which we will relocate. TFTC.

03-Dec-18
Pretty tricky one, we nearly gave up before finding! No need to stand on anything. Luckily park was empty at midday on a weekday. Tftc

22-Nov-18
Yah... found it just as a storm was heading in.
Nice little park and to comeback to avoid muggles.

12-Aug-18
No best friend to bring and as the place was full of Mugglers with friends we decided it would be difficult to stelt log this cache. Another time perhaps.

Visited here after dark when all good doggies would be sleeping. No need to climb on anything so dont know what a previous finder was on about. Saw the flood records on the post and that could be why most of the houses in the street I parked in were on high stumps. TFTC Smile

25-May-18
Thanks nice and quick

18-May-18
In Brisbane for a conference and naturally taking some time to do Geocaching.

Another find for Mr S, thank goodness because Mrs S is a bit vertically challenged. Interesting flood statistics on the poles. Bit scary just how deep the water can be.

No best friends in sight this morning.

Thanks Fitzengruben.

I'm on my way to meet T-Tech for lunch, but left home with enough time to grab some caches along the way. GPS had me in the right spot here, and it was just a case of being systematic, and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC, Fitzengruben.

07-May-18
Took a little longer than we would have liked but a successful find eventually. Bonus is cute puppies to pat Smile

06-May-18
Out for a bit of a meander on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon. Plenty of people playing around out side this in closure with their soccer balls and basketballs, but today not a dog in sight. The park enclosure was quiet and we had it to ourselves. It was a quick retrieval, then we signed the log and were gone again.
Thanks

20-Apr-18
Tftc nice and sunny but walking across the park it started to sprinkle by the time we got there it was full on raining then thunder! In the space of 100 metres we just had to take shelter which gave us more time to look. Cache soon in hand pools of water on grounds as we walked back to car fun cache

15-Apr-18
Too many muggles and puggles to do a proper search and grab. Maybe next time.

We used to live in one of the ground floor apartments across the road before we had kids so it’s a bit of a trip down memory lane to come back here. This dog park wasn’t here fifteen years ago. Thanks

Took a touch longer than i planned lol but just beat a muggle arriving. Tftc

31-Jan-18
Took me a while to find this one in the dark and the rain! Luckily the park was deserted (see above re: dark & rain. No one else was insane enough to be out!)

I'm guessing todays heat kept the muggles away from this area today as I arrived to find I had the place to myself... Excellent... Big Grin

I wandered in toward an obvious GZ and set about the hunt. I circumnavigated the structure before putting my hand on the container, which I retrieved, placed on the convenient table and etched my name in the log. [^]

With business done and the temp not getting any lower, I tucked it back in place and headed off.

Cheers Fitzengruben.

Another cache i've rolled upto on the tredly before and been muggled out. This time i was prepared to stay awhile. Still, the one dog owner refused to leave, so went off in search of some more nemesis.
Later though, the coast was miraculously clear, so parking the bike across the entrance so as to alert me if i got too involved in the hunt, i raced off to gz and scurried around furiously a few minutes before the elusive cache was discovered. Then i hightailed it out of there! Just in time too, as a dog owner peered over the horizon.
Thanks for placing a cache here fitzengruben!

Out and about in the area this morning finding a few caches before making my way to Toowoomba. Big Grin
The showers stopped for long enough for me to make my way to GZ, find the cache after a short search, sign the log book and replace the cache as it was. Big Grin
No one was in the dog park making life easy. Smile
Onto the next one. Smile
Thanks for the cache.

Out for the day with nikid1 creating some smilies on the southside.
This was our second for the day & being a rainy weekday morning the area was devoid of muggles & their best friends which made searching much easier.
We had to wait longer for the rain shower to ease than it took us to find the cache.

The last of three quick finds during our conference lunch break.

Lucky the coworker I wrangled into coning with me is just that little bit taller than I am.

Got to admire a wonderful dog after rehiding the cache ( exactly where we found it). Then back to Death By PowerPoint.

The geoterrier is a 12 year old girl's best friend. The 12 year old has just received such a great report card that she was allowed to indulge and watch a DVD during the day. The geoterrier was forlorn.

When I mentioned 'dog park', 'geocache' and 'greyhound' in the same sentence her tail went into overdrive. Geodog owners will know that she immediately located her lead and my GPSr and waited at the door. Maybe I have been watching too much of 'Shaun the Sheep'. Sorry, there had to be a dog story for this cache.

Coast is clear. I can do this., I look at the clue just as a small boy runs into the park and has a bush wee. His father calls out his whole name (oh dear we all know about that!) and points to the toilets nearby. Small boy finishes and asks me if he could take the dog over the obstacle course. Geoterrier sort of does the right thing.

OK... we are now at GZ. Clue not working for me. Overthought it. Oh... I get it. Located and signed.

A great dog park, very sociable. I went off looking for other caches and I met the owners coming back.

Thanks, Fitzengruben. Dropping in a favourite point from geoterrier and me.

I had dropped my wife off in the CBD for a meeting and had my Sister-in-law with me and suggested that we take some time out to find a few caches in this area. She has not been caching with me and was a bit apprehensive as she is not that mobile.

we had tried to access the suggested parking spot on the way to get the other caches but there was a large truck blocking the road so we had given it a miss and we returned after finding the others and I decided to park in Longlands Street and take the access path back to the cache location. I left the SIL sitting in the car and took the stroll alone.

I gave a groan when I saw where the GPS was pointing. I am no fan of caches hidden in spots like that. Luckily, the area was muggle free and I headed to the area. I put my hand into a few spots and it came out covered in bitey black ants so I spent some time getting them off me.

I then put my hand into another spot and something moved. That was lucky.

Glad to get a quick find on what is normally a tricky type of hide.

After a rather unsettling experience nearby, I was pleased to find no muggles here with either two legs or four. After sitting and thinking, I started wandering around and found the cache, slightly more exposed than I expected. All is good inside so TFTC... I returned it slightly better hidden.

Found after a late night out to maintain my daily cache find and went to bed before logging it. Quick easy find, signed log and replaced as found. TFTC

Very hesitant to grab this one with so many muggles around, and me with high heels and no dog would definitely stick out! I hung back for a while until some left, and with the group congregating in the opposite corner I went in for the grab. Luckily I put my hand on it in the first place I looked, a quick sign reveled someone else had been here today - I love when that happens TFTC

Amusing trying to watch squirrelette reach this one. I'm not that much taller than her but luckily my tippy toe boost helped Smile thank you CO for the cache and only 5 days old! Congrats to RidgyPidge for FTF. Such a beautiful day. #TeamSneakySquirrels

27-Feb-17
Brought the geodog down here this morning so that I did not look too suspicious - glad I did as there was a couple nearby having a little early refreshments but they were too busy talking to look over to me. At the GZ, I took a seat and thought about the clue. Checked one spot then I checked all spots and spotted it. Needed to use a tool to retrieve it due to my short stature but easily replaced. TFTC Fitzengruben

Found a pen in the car and logged officially. Love this park and bring my wee furbaby here a couple of times a week. At 530-6pm on weekdays it's like doggy grand central so maybe avoid peak pooch time when looking for the geo.

**FTF** @ 8:35pm. Wow, pleased to get this FTF in as I'd needed one for February Big Grin
I had been at home when I'd noticed the emails had come in and saw that they'd already been in my inbox for 15 minutes! Surprised I checked which one was closest and started the should I or shouldn't I routine [?]
Anyhow, figured I may as well give it a go Smile So I grabbed my torch and headed off in the geomobile.
A short drive later I arrived at parking spot and noticed a car there with internal lights on and people getting into it. Figured I must be too late for a FTF then, but well I'm here so may as well go find the cache Razz
I found a fence in my way and couldn't immediately see a gate, so over I went [^] At ground zero it was a pretty quick search, as I put my hand on the cache in second spot I checked! Can get lucky sometimes Big Grin Opened up the container and was happy to pull out a blank log sheet Smile so dutifully signed and dated and added time found to it also Smile
The container was returned to the spot I found it, all ready for the next visitor to come and find it for themselves Smile I was sorry I couldn't really see much of the area here in the dark. I'll have to come back here in daylight and meet some of the dogs. Our old boy passed away last year, and we haven't got another one just yet. Maybe soon [?]
Thanks for placing this cache Fitzengruben, and have a favourite point to kick this one off Smile

Saw this published last night so was excited to come visit before work this morning

A lady was here with her blue heeler who came up to say hello, whilst his owner was busy on her phone. ‍

Great clue resulted in a fast find, in the last place I looked
