Due to a large increase in the two caches in the park being vandalised or taken, I am archiving these caches to work on a more difficult hide that should be more secure. Thank you to all the geocachers who have visited this cache.
After communicating with council my plan to replace this cache with a more secure container was not approved. A suggestion was made that the planned container may come under vandalism threat and may need to formulate a new plan to make this cache kid friendly and big enough for swaps, so in order to keep this cache active, I will be replacing it with a bison at the same location, different hiding position until I can work out another solution with BRC (Bundaberg Regional Council). Will update and activate when everything is in place and ready to go.
Due to high levels of muggle vandalism I am disabling the cache until I can relocate. If this is not possible I will do what I can to create a better hide.
Today is the find the outstanding hides placed since my last visit and go for a drive and check and maintain some of my hides in the area. Arrived close and parked. Found the very clever camo host for this one and love the way it has been constructed. Favourite point for this one. TFTC Syk1
On my way to Bundy for the event on Sunday, just had to find a few on the way.
Having camp for the night @ Meddowvale Nature in the car park, with no one else around, time to set off for todays adventure, north side of the river
An easy find, A very interesting hide.
All is with the cache
TFTC Syk1 a fav point for the hide

Having finally arrived in the Rockhampton/Yepoon area after our 15000 km trip from Qld to Alice Springs and return to Qld it was time to do some caches. This is such a lovely location and we enjoyed finding this cache. Thanks to Syk1 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
A day to fill in while we wait for repairs on our van so what better way then to score a few smilies. Very clever hide but unfortunately it needs a little maintenance already.

Thought I would get there early for this one as it is a very popular spot, just a short walk from where I parked, I remember in my younger days coming here from my mates place he would have partys all the time and this would be a go to place after, I'm suprised such a big area that there isn't more.. Great cache FTF didn't trade anything as i forgot to grab something from home so left as is TFTC
