Great little quick cache here at the end of the lane, on a nice sunny day - quick bike ride for me and the 6 yo - thanks
Good hide...went too far and had to walk back to correct hint item...
All good here.
All good here.
We had a very interesting drive exploring the lesser used roads in the area to find this and a few other caches.
No problems once at GZ and no muggles in sight although it appears some horse riders had been there very recently judging by the fresh deposits in the middle of the road.
Thanks for bringing us here.

An afternoon of lightning and thunder and downpours, but dodged the rain and made the quick find (to fill another dot day). A tidy little hide, TFTC

End of the road and almost end of our caches for the day, no worries with the find, a nice quick park and grab, the way we like it!!

Heading home after a Father’s Day lunch for my husband and we introduced our 4year old grandson to geocaching but was a fun cache for him to find TFTC
I was running ahead of schedule, so I had time to grab a few more in Cambridge. TFTC.

Of couse started out at the cut off end of the street. In fact had done the same a year ago and then drove away frustrated. This time we went round and round and round and round to get to the cache.
Was at the end and had to stop (for a quick find).

Having spent the morning completing some chores in Matangi the family and I spent the afternoon geocaching a around Cambridge. This was the first find of the day, we picked it up after enjoying some lunch at Red Cherry, a cafe at the end of the road, which was once State Highway 1.
We don't exactly drive by this cache so it's been a while before we got here. Thanks for bringing us here 11hpg11
Found after competing in the NZ Road Running Champs at nearby St Peter's School.
A quick and easy find.
I got a wave from the farmer across the road as he drove by on his quad bike.
Thanks.

With a break in the weather the only thing I really had to do today was geocache. I had no plans so enlisted TNXPro and Squirrelnutcase to search for a worthy adventure. What no one knew at the time was this adventure would span 21 hours, cover 3 regions and we'd have Davidson clan join us at the half way point. A crazy day but there's no denying - it's a lot more fun with friends!
This cache was a nice little park'n'grab and it was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward hint. Cheers 11hpg11, TFTC

The weather was looking perfect for a caching trip, so myself, Philip.Perry and Squirrel.Nutcase joined forces and decided to hit the Waikato area to try clear Squirrels map.
I had run a PQ and still had 701 caches to find within 30km of Hamilton, so I pretty much was up for anything today.
The last time we searched for a cache down one of these dead end streets, it was dark and we were accosted by some very agitated and stoned youth and we were very lucky to escape the situation, cache in hand, without being murdered (or something!)
So as we drove down to the end of this road, the memory flooded back. I never want to be in that situation again, so was glad to get out of here quickly.

I doubt the locals were too upset when their road was stopped, its nice and quiet now except for the noise from the expressway.
Enjoying catching up on caching in Cambridge - love the cache and sneaky hole. Taking a bit to get used to all the roading changes. TFTC
End of the Forrest also happened to be end of the road, I never looked at Google Earth properly and thought I could slip out onto what I thought was HW1, but it wasn't HW1 (as I found out later) so had to back track more or less the way I came. There was a young dude limping down the road and wasn't making much ground at any given point in time, he kept staring back at me to see what I was up too. I just had to wait awhile until the coast was clear to make the find.
Lots of end roads around here with the new expressway. I imagine they all joined up at some stage. Nicely placed cache, thanks
Another quick find with MoggyVal then off to a lovely nearby café. Thanks for placing.
I love caches hidden in places where there are no muggles! The local pukeko told me off for disturbing it though. Tftc
Nice hide! Now how do we get to the other side...quite a long ride me thinks...TFTC
Had to wait while a couple of farmers walked a cow along the road to an adjoining paddock before locating the snug cache. Thanks.
heading along the back roads doing what we like best.. finding ways to avoid the main roads.. it was only fair thus that we call in and help this guy get another breath air - luckily the crew had sufficient height to not have the need for the long stepping stone in proximity....
Out and about on a cold frosty morning but that's what you do instead of having a sleep in. Quick find. Tftc.
Time for a drive around the block. There have been a few new caches since I was last around here, Took a wee bit of looking but pretty straightforward in the end. Cheers
Found on a long weekend up in the Waikato, with family, friends, and caching. Ticks all my boxes!!
Thanks to all of the CO's for the hides. Cheers.

Just down the road so thought it was a good day to grab this cache. Had to wait for the farmer to go. TFTC
We are in Cambridge visiting family for Easter. Needed to go find some caches and with a break in the rain we headed out the door for a couple of hours. A nice quick drive by find here, TFTC!
Parked the car at the Tamahere church and cycled from there to get the five caches on the west side of the expressway, Last one for the morning, was tempted to cross the expressway to cycle back to my car but was such a beautiful morning I just went back the way I came.

8.30am - Trip to Auckland with the Squirrel and a couple of new cachers on board with us. No real plans but with one multi cache in mind. With this ticked off it was just a day of increasing our cache numbers. A good with some interesting cache hides with a couple needing needing repairs and a couple of misses. Thanks to all the cache owners for todays trip. SLTFTC
I had 7 caches lined up for today as it wasn't raining. Hubby said he would bike with me. It is so much nicer having company as we cycled around the roads either side of the expressway. We visited friends once I had found the 7 caches. 7 smiles . #1. This was an easy find once I read the hint. It was noisy by the expressway. TFTC.
A nice and quick find, out and about getting some closer to home caches
Arrived at GZ, mist be "There", next one, oh there it is!

Wasn't really tired at 10pm so thought I'd go for a drive and collect the caches in this patch. Shouldn't be too hard with the cover of darkness Have been here before for a multi I has well and truely calculated wrong it seems. Never mind, this time I was Getting Lucky with the cache find. Must remember to have another crack at the multi...
TFTC 11hpg11, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 5 finds of 7 today, making this find #1563

Heading to Auckland with Nerweed and Gap (of Fap and Gap)...
This is our first time travelling through Cambridge in a while... It's surprising how much the Expressway has changed this area. The new road has effectively cut rural communities in half. We like that it has created lots of new opportunities to hide caches, and we're pleased that someone is making use of these newly formed dead end roads. TFTC.

Its Been a while and now its time to catch up on all the logging that I've put off to a rainy day (while it may not be raining, where we were heading the roads are still closed hence sitting here doing this).
Thought that I should be doing a bit of a clean up around Hamilton and will admit that following the tomtom was not the best way to get there but rather eventually made it after a spot of trial and error. Very interesting to see how the roads have altered with the advent of the expressway and also what were quite busy roads have become quiet roads.
Thanks for the Cache, thanks for the Placement

2841 After a trip to Te A decided to do the round trip. Wasn't able to try for FTF as I was moving daughter from Dargaville to Waiuku when these were published. Nice to tick a new one off. Well done Kiwis69.
Heading home from a caching mission South of Rotorua when the alert for some new caches near home were published, so decided to grab them on the way home. No problem with the find, however were beaten well and truly by Kiwis69 for the FTF, great to see you back out and about. Thanks for the hide.
Jumped off the highway and speed through the suburbs to get this one - only to find we were 2nd. I wasn't too worried, but the cachers I was with started to wonder if the game was back on with the Hamiltonian cachers challenge to find the most FTF this year...
Woo hoo! FTF! Not often that happens for me
The notifications came through that 5 new local-ish caches had been published this afternoon. A quick look at the map showed they were spread out across town. It crossed my mind that the FTF hounds might be busy chasing somewhere else so, spur of the moment, decided to make a dash for those closest to home. Pulled up, no cars parked nearby (looking promising), great co-ords & hint so it was a nice easy find and pleased to see a nice blank log book & a {FTF}. Thanks heaps for the cache placement
