Did a day trip Sandy Creek to make a start on the Barossa Trail between Gawler and Lyndoch, also getting others along the way. All caches were in good condition unless mention otherwise. Park the vehicle at Sandy Creek and took the scooter for a ride. Thanks to LiB for their very creative caches some took a bit of finding. TFTC
The day began with the "Pirates of the PA ribbean Project Planning #1 event in Gawler, followed by a few hours of finding caches around Lyndoch and surrounds.
Needed some help from the CO on this one. It was almost like someone had set up a decoy to lead us astray and it worked. CO put us back on track and the cache was found and logbook signed. TFTC

I went out for the day with Peas&CarrotsForever and Sandelf to attend the "Pirates of the PA ribbean Project Planning #1" event at Gawler.
After the event had wrapped up we ventured out to grab caches around Lyndoch and Rosedale.
A total of 12 finds for the day for this pineapple plus the event.
We were having a bit of trouble locating this one, we searched for a new minutes but couldn't locate anything.
Who better to call then the CO? Thankfully they were able to point us in the right direction and the cache was quickly found and signed.
Cache and contents are all good.
Good to see another one of these series out here, hiding amongst the Barossa Trail.
Thanks LíB for this cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3350 on the 4th of August 2023.
CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!
Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!
**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**

out for a wander with Eartlight, LiB and AllisterW collecting and maintaining some caches with the CO.
We picked the perfect day for this wander. The sun was shining and the day was clear

Day seventeen of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
With Sunday's crappy weather all finished, we set of on the deadly treadlies to complete some more of the Barossa Trail. We drove to Lyndoch, and then rode to the start of the trail then back to the Bakery at Lyndoch for lunch.
After lunch we did a few more back towards Rowland Flat, and then a few odd ones.
A nice collection of caches, and a great ride.
A great old house across the road. Good to see it is still in OK condition and not just a pile of stones.
Spent the rest of the ride singing the song from Casablanca.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19334. Day 17 of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. After a miserable day weather-wise yesterday it was back to the bicycles today with the hope of making a big dent in the Barossa Trail caches. We parked at Lyndoch and rode towards Gawler - starting at #40 and gathering all that were available until we finished at #1. 2 1/2 hours to do that and another 1/2 hour to ride back for our lunch stop. After lunch we did a few more before returning to base at Tanunda. A great day's ride and so many interesting cache hides.
Love seeing the old houses and facades but it is sad too. Would love to renovate some. A quick find here..
Thanks LíB

Having my first post-Covid bike ride and feeling weary, so it made sense to regularly stop to pick up a few caches along the way. It’s nice to have variety of hides on a trail. TFTC.
Another beautiful winters day in the Barossa out caching with iluvtrekking. This is the type of hides we prefer - rural roads and lanes. Thanks LiB
Out with the family to complete more of the trail TFTC

Today I decided to go for a walk and do some of the Jack bobridge trail on foot, off I set from #10 through to #36, total of 11km return. Some of the caches were tough to find others a lot easier, it appeared once I got the hang of the hides they became easier to located.
All the caches found are in good condition.
Thanks for the cache.

I’ve wanted to do this trail for a long time and not sure why I haven’t. Anyway today after the nearby celebration event I decided to make a start. It was a beautiful evening for a wander so did a 3km walk and collected 7 from the series. I am definitely going to pencil in a plan to come back and do some more. It was nice to do a trail with a variety of styles of hides which have obviously had a lot of thought out into.
TFTC LiB and the series, I will be back

Day 440 ( Wednesday 11th) of our trip. Caching along the way, in Greenock today. Going to finish off the Barossa trail run we started last time we were here. TFTC
Thanks, LíB for your considerable efforts on these bike tracks. Hopefully, we will be able to return one day to complete them. This is our last day of caching in SA before racing back to the West before the borders close.
This cache was found on our Geocaching road trip from Perth to Millicent for the now-cancelled, GeoVenture2020 Event.

Disappointing to see this one lying exposed in the open, have replaced where found but have covered it! TFTC
Started this cache series a few years ago. Today I was back in force with Malco!, SupaOrange and SupaTurtle. Great to see a series where all the caches are unique. Thanks
Such a nice day for finally doing this trail. Thirty down many to go. Cheers cobber.
First found it, it had indeed been moved or taken. Thank you for replacing it this has been a DNF for so long now lol TFTC Jones Family
Out on an autumn eve when dog sniffed out a cache. Nice little lift to the evening. Thanks
Today we headed north from where we are staying to look for caches along the Jack Bobridge Trail. Along the way we looked for other nearby caches. This was one of them.
Accurate coordinates and the container led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 3LG for this cache.

Together with jsson on a daytrip north of Adelaide up to Gawler. We logged as IJ.
It was a very hot day with temperatures up to 37 degrees C. We did only take one 2,5km walk and gave priority to car caching instead. We soon found a very nice trail which we followed until we had to break.
Yes, our time was up now so we had to return to our stay.
Thanks for placing a cache here for me to enjoy and find.

Staying in Williamstown for some orienteering events. Edvern and I out for some caching in our spare time. TFTC
Found with Tramper Ted after today’s orienteering event. Liked the container. Thanks 3LG and greetings from New Zealand.
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Now camped in Tanunda. Today the GeoCruiser was booked into Toyota. So what does any Geoaddict do when they have no 4x4, come rain, wind and freezing temperatures? .... they jump on the GeoBike of course.
Found the cache today whilst completing the Jack Bobridge trail.

Eye spied, Eye found, Eye logged, Eye trinket swapped. Cache replaced in hiding spot. TFTC !
Great winter day with sun out, so with the partner busy with work stuff, decided to drive to Lyndoch and do some cycling around the Jack Bobridge path collecting caches, all while hunting for Hidden Creatures.
Was doing the Jack Bobridge in reverse commencing with #40, and worked my way down to #20 before having to turn back. Was expecting a power trail, but instead these caches were incredibly well done, and easily worth a few FPs awarded.
Loving the big caches when you have a slow run at finding those sneaky caches, thanks 3LG.

Stopped off here on my way home from Nuriootpa while doing some of the Jack Bobridge trail. [^]
Just love stopping and looking at old buildings and ruins.
A quick find and sign, but as I was getting back in the car I discovered I was covered by killer biting ants, so had to do the ant dance to get them all off. Only suffered a couple of bites, but still very uncomfortable.
Thanks for the cache 3LG.

Getting a few caches in the area. I realised on this trip I must be spoiled for scenery in nz. Way to hot for us today. There were too many friendly flies about today. TFTC
