It took me a few minutes to spot the cache here but I got there in the end. Thanks very much for the cache.
Great spot found it didnt have a pen unfortunately but took a photo of necessary
With friends living at the bottom of Waddington Dr and in McEnroe Gr, this was a fave hangout area back in the day......I am one of those still bitter kiwis who were locked out during Covid, and am visiting the Hutt for the first time in five years to visit family and friends. A nice easy find larger than expected.
Found in the dark this morning with not a soul around. Neat little hide. Thanks Jodanz
Found quite quickly with the good hint. Some nasty-looking nails to avoid, all good otherwise.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
All good, cache all good too. Had to duck out of the way of some tradies though.
Out caching on this sunny Sunday afternoon with GeoHubby (GNARwhal) and Miss 10 (UnicornLex)
Finally able to turn my frowny blue face into a smiley here, although not without a story to tell.
Arrived at GZ and soon spotted a lone black bison tube on the ground in the mud. The log was saturated, and unable to be signed. It appeared to be an old log as the dates finished in 2022.
I had previously asked Matagouri, as a recent finder, for a hint on the location, and this black bison didn’t fit the bill at all. Also didn’t have his name on the fresh log sheet as he mentioned in his log.
UL carried on searching for the new cache and comes across, what’s this? The old ORIGINAL CACHE with the last date August 2018, which was entombed, but as the entire fence is falling apart the hide location has become visible enough for an eagle eyed 10 year old to spot it.
So this is the log we signed and replaced, and I have messaged the CO with all these details too, with more specifics. What an adventure, and fun trying to work out which cache is which.
Still unsure if the newest cache is there somewhere… Lol

Out doing various Cache-Related Missions with LL113 and UnicornLex, finally nabbed this one after a previous failed attempt with the help of UnicornLex's sharp eye
In the area with a few minutes to hand, so stopped by to make this find. Had to pause for a dog-walker, but quick find after that. Cache in good condition, but log is blank? Put my mark at the top of the page. Tftc!
Could find today. Raining so didn’t want to stand around too long. Will come back another day.
Looks like the border has been rejuvenated but the cache has become a casualty so replaced the container today
No luck today.
I spent a few miutes at the spot with no go.
Next time.......

The road return loop back to the car from my hill climb. Found after bit of a search, while the ducks honked & shepherded their fuzzy ducklings. Cheers Jodanz.
Very tiny cache hidden amongst the leaves. Not sure if this was where it was intended to be, but have placed it in a safe spot. Paper needs replacing.
Well hidden under leaves and twigs, but lots of flicking and brushing produced this cache. Tftc
Had 3 pukeko for company while looking for this cache. Not sure if cache was in the right liston but found it in the end. TFTC.
Me n my family found it great spot I'm supprised we didnt find it sooner great hiding place not to hard but not to simple eather nice work mate
Today I need to find a cache. Just a cache for my streak. It's not often I get to say that - I have so many calendar projects it is odd that today's cache does not have be a micro or a small or an "other"or a puzzle or one of many. Just a cache.
So I grabbed my tramping pack and headed out the door with a shopping mission to Petone in mind, and a cache on the way home. This shopping trip is all bulky bits, thus the tramping pack. Two bedside lamps, shoes, toilet paper, paper towels, bread. Just the two bedside lamps pretty much filled the pack, with the rest it was at it maximum stretch, 95 litres. Which meant that while cycling I could only see about 3m in front of me. I had to stretch my neck forward so that I could tilt my head up to see more of the road. And then the pack would push my helmet lower over my eyes. I must have looked a right sight!
Anyway, I stopped off here, dropped the pack and gave my neck some much needed relief. Had a bit of trouble finding the cache, but TwigNZ was right, the coordinates are spot on. Before I saw his log I must have looked at the cache twice, it wasn't till after reading Twig's log that I resorted to hands and knees and going in for a feel that I found the cache. I agree with Twig's statement: so simple. Yet so effective.

Out with Demainiac tonight finding caches. Found thanks to your hint. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its spot all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this geocache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
Hmmm, well I know you can't beat Wellington on a good day, but today wasn't quite one of those. It had been threatening to rain for most of the day, but a friend and I decided we still fancied getting a bit of fresh air.
This was our first find for the day. The co-ords were pretty much spot on, but I still didn't spot it in spite of pretty much looking straight at it. A simple hide, but a very effective one. Jus3 actually made the find here, and I added both our names to the logsheet.
Thank you for placing this cache.

Quick find. Dont know if this was the original place but it is still there. Found with KittyBowRobloxErin.
I looked all over especially in the spot I would have hidden it but no luck. I'll try again next time I come to see the pukekoes.
It took three visits but I have now found what I was after. The cache was in a place I had searched before but obviously only with a man look. Cache blindness is a real phenomenon.
Again out cycling with a group of friends we had yet another look for this cache and this time we were successful. TFTC
A fairly quick find on a rainy day at the end of a road which seems very popular for parking. Two caches here, one with a dry log so we signed that one. TFTC
Nice find while out for an evening stroll. Unsure why there are 2 caches here. One is saturated so couldn't be signed, so it was good to have the spare to sign. Tftc
Found both caches. Dried out older one in the sun for a bit while watching Mother Duck and her babies. Glorious on a spring afternoon. TFTC
Found this on our second attempt. The old cache had fallen to the ground, so put it back with the new one.
Border security seems to have been lax and the cache spirited away so have replaced it.
We spent quite a bit of time on this one much to the puzzlement of several passerbys. The GPS and phone seemed steady on one area but we could not find it. Commiserations to anyone who rides into the barrier. We will look for the cache on another cycle ride. TFTC
Missed on the first pass but found quickly by the second set of eyes.
We may or may not have been observed by a third set of eyes across the stream so making a quick getaway before the sirens come our way ...

The coords were spot on, the hint was good yet it still took us a while to get this one. Can’t have had our geocaching hats on. TFTC
#1051. My last find for 2019. After a nearby frustrating DNF, what joy for a quick find at GZ - ably assisted by GB Leader and JustlookingOO.
Tftc Jodanz.
Tftc Jodanz.
A quick drive and grab cache with RogerW1nz and GB Leader, then back into Welly to begin prep for New Years BBQ celebration. Last cache of the decade!!! TFTC
We were a bit concerned as we approached the cache by the border guard blasting NaeNae sounds from his car but he soon departed in search of other border runners. Log a little damp but usable.
Only muggle a male dogger on this sunny morning. Found quickly thanks to a good hint, signed and replaced with no issues. Log is nice and dry thanks.
Thanks for this stream-side cache, cheers.
