Final day of the Busso weekend and just picking up a few more in the area before heading off towards home. This was one that I stopped off at on the way out to the 'ABBA' series Road was fairly quiet so a quick park and grab here on the way past. Neat camo here! No problems today - TFTC
Busselton Day3
We have set up in the caravan park for 3 nights. This will give us time to tour the area.
Headed out of town towards the ABBA series, mostly rural finds today
Thankyou to the CO's for hiding this cache

Had to do a quick trip down to Busso so while Mr dimor had the day off he was my chauffer as I still can't drive, and thought why not take Rach too since she has taken me caching lately.
This was on Mr dimor's side of the car so he quickly grabbed cache but sily me hadn't given him the pen.
We timed it right with the roadworks when heading back into town

Down in Busselton for a long weekend, making use of a spare bed made available to me for the weekend. This was one of the finds made.
Quick find, but well hidden. Accurate coordinates. Cheers pinky1999!

Find 8 of 15 with a single DNF and including a rare opportunistic FTF, on a cool and windswept bike ride out to Busselton Airport and back, then circling around the Vasse Estuary - at 43km, longer than our usual cache rides.
Still banging down the road into a monster headwind, we were glad there were no more along this road and this was our turnaround point. Easy find - now to ride back north with the wind for a change.

Started our 2nd tour of WA now touring around the south and now checking out Busselton. 26 January 2022 3:17 pm Tyfc pinky1999 total caches now 3789
Having such a convenient car park was well received. When I pulled up I took note of the sign suggesting I may be under surveillance.
When I approached GZ I spotted what may be the cache and was grateful that it was so. The flies celebrated too by buzzing me lots.
All that was left was a U-turn without backing into the creek.

Nifty little hide. A fave from me.

Hi there pinky1999.
We found your cache **"Dirt Track Cowboys."** at 8:57:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 23707).
The day promised to be another warm one, so we decided that logging some caches around Busselton would be a good idea. We started in Queen Elizabeth road, and then logged a few more caches using a "next closest" method. We thoroughly enjoyed our drive, walks and the scenery - even though the flies were particularly "sticky" today.. We found 10 caches & DNF'd 0.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing.
Thank you pinky1999 for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

While MDV was on his second lap of his ironman bike ride, I came for a little drive to log this find. Thanks for the hide.
I had some time off work and decided to get away for a couple of nights camping and caching. I love this part of the State so there was no hesitation about my destination for the adventure. This cache was one I stopped for along the way. Cheers and TFTC.

I took the chance to visit my husband who was working in Wagin. This meant a new area I hadn’t had the chance to explore before. Day one after a late start due to car troubles I clocked up only 6 caches on my way to Wagin and around the town of Wagin. With that area cleared apart from the famous ‘WanAus 89 - Roaming Western Australia’ cache this one may require a bit more work and a few more holidays to get the feeder caches.
I was able to start early traveling southwest toward Beaufort river from Wagin finding finding Norring Lake then had to back track and head East to find tracks that were suitable for a Toyota Avalon before making my way to Queerarrup Lake and Kenmare hall. Places I will keep in mind if I need a nice camp site. Queerarrup Lake has brand new facilitys including toilets and electric barbies. The Lake today was peaceful and covered in dozens of black swans. Onwards to Beaufort River along Robinson road. I found the two caches here in good condition. The servo is now closed so I couldn’t get fuel. It wasn’t critical as I still had quarter of a tank but I had to rule out going to Lake Towernining today. I was half way between Kojonup and Arthur River since I was there yesterday Kojonup it was. After lunch and a few caches there I headed West towards home 19 found caches for the day and 7 LGAs.
This was the last cache of the day a quickie not far off the road for the sake of getting another LGA.
Great camo and enough room for a pencil.
Having been camping in Busselton for a few days, we decided it was time to pick up a few more caches in Capel and then continue checking out a lot more of the vehicle caches out of town. Our aim, along with ilook4geo, was to do a round trip and finish by going back to Busselton by a different route.
This was a nice easy find found as per the info on the cache page. Log was signed and replaced. Job done. Thanks to pinky1999 for placing this cache.

Busselton and surrounds have given us a lot of caches to find, together with goingplaces2. Today was a good day and we found a total of 50 caches. Some were harder that others to locate and took longer, but all logs were signed as required. Thanks to each CO.
Back home in busso for a quick visit after living nz for the last 18 mnths. Good to see some new caches out since I left. Loved this one, much better than your standard cache. May steal the design somewhat and have the nz population scratching their heads. Tftc
Nice quick park and grab.
Day 2 of our Busselton caching trip. Picking up solved puzzles and trads along the way.
TFTC pinky1999 this is find # 4732 for us.

Headed down to Northcliffe for the long weekend and found a number of caches on the way and in the area.
Found it in the obvious spot.
Thanks pinky1999 for the hide.

Headed out with skippy46 on a trip down south to find some caches. Picked up 4 puzzle caches the hubby had solved a while ago and the rest were traditionals and we were very happy to have no DNFS. The weather wasn't the best and we got wet at just about every cache that we stopped at. The clever cache was quickly spotted TFTC pinky1999
Day two of my last road trip for 2017 with cravo10.
We started a bit later today, with a sleep in til 7am, we collected the few remaining caches around town before leaving town and heading towards Deanmill, Donnelly River, Nannup, Dunsborough, Busselton, Bunbury and finally back home to Perth.
We had a huge day collecting forty plus caches, even with a short detour to dunsbrough for work.
Really enjoyed finding some more of the Munda Biddi epic geocaches from their 2013 ride.
A great days caching. Thanks to the local COs for their hides over the last couple of days. We look forward to finding more caches on our next planned visits to the south west. Thanks

pinky1999 I found your cache Dirt Track Cowboys. thanks for placing this hide and bringing me to this area.
Even though we found this one quickly, it still deserves a favourite for the design.
Staying in lovely Busselton for a few days and getting to know the place by visiting some of the caches. Thanks pinky1999.
Found by Mary & David at 1620. We're en route from Albany to Busselton today after leaving Melbourne 10 days ago. Beautiful country. A few days here then on to Rockingham. Would be hard to grab if the Dirt Track Cowboys were in action. Our thanks to pinky1999.
Really drab late afternoon enlivened by two things. One, and primary was the find. All good and dry, and the other was a large kangaroo crossing the road directly in front of our car on the way to the target. Any day finding a cache has to be a good one, as is one missing a roo.. TFTC.
** This is a late log **
The caches I am now logging are from a day out doing a maintenance run on the WAGB Arrow series with Mrs Jackylegs as my co-pilot. Found 4 of the 7 that were reportedly missing, so only had to replace three. And of course we had to grab a few smileys for ourselves while down there.
Since then, many more caches have been found and other geocaching adventures have been enjoyed too, so it is about time that I got down to work on all those outstanding logs, albeit somewhat late.
I appreciate all the effort each of the cache owners has gone through to create and place each and every hide and I do not for one second take it for granted, I just need to get caught up so I can return to my usual style of individualized logs.
Found this one without any problems. Thanks for the smiley pinky1999

Had to be in Busselton this morning for some errands and detoured to grab this cache. Although I have been down Vasse Hwy many times, never realised this was the entrance to a race track. Took a few minutes to zero in on the container because I was looking for something 'regular'. I had brought a TB with me that would have been perfect for the name of the cache, but the container was too small to take it. Thanks pink6y1999
