Because of the pandemic, many caches became
unmanageable in the time
needed to race out to them and I have not been able to
justify the time to keep this cache going.
I know you may be sad that this cache,
like many of it’s partners is going, but
sometimes it is an old cache that makes way for a new one.
Until next we meet on the caching trail, have an
extra special time caching. KD.

Had a good poke around likely locations bit couldn't find it. Might have to message for some help.
Went for a quick geocache hunt before school this morning....no luck here for us unfortunately. No bunyips either! Think this one may be done and dusted.
Heading home now to Ivanhoe to complete my dog/house sitting duties. Stopped here to collect another smiling face. The bunyip didn't get me. I got what I wanted though.
Thanks kangadrew72
Thanks kangadrew72
So many muggles. This is a very popular walking circuit and muggles appear from all directions. I arrived this morning and it was just too difficult to search due to all the muggles. I came back a few hours later and quickly had success. The cache was in good condition and thankfully I did not sight any bunyips. Thanks for the cache kangadrew72.
Good hiding spot and a quick find here today. The main advantage of caching on such a hot day is that there was no-one around! Thank you for the hide kangadrew72.
What a really lovely park you have brought me to for this cache adventure ...very peaceful and very much the natural billabong habitat for a bunyip to live. Best I log this and sneak out before it gets dark...wouldn't want to be alone around the pond. TFTC and for letting me know that this park exists.
Raph the TMNT TB dropped by for a visit and to look for bunyips. I also picked up the Hardcore Number Cruncher TB.
Found it after waiting for muggles to leave.First one of 2020! Also retrieved our own travel bug Pirate Bill as it isnt moving. TFTH
Will have to come back with pen, but needed a break from running! Managed to knock it by accident but retrieved OK. But no pen (running, forgot it).
Last week I came here on a gloriously sunny afternoon only to find two young people sitting on the bridge, chatting inoffensively. No swearing, no drugs, no vandalism, but not going anywhere. I left. Today was again glorious, and this time the coast was clear, and the cache soon found. I took the puzzler tb. Thanks kangadrew
Too nice a day for staying inside, so had to go Caching again. Decided to head down south to get some and this is my first stop. Nice park. Very peaceful. Picked up a Geocoin and dropped off a TB. TFTC kangadrew72.
Yay for a couple of reasons - I finally found it now it has been replaced - thanks kangadrew72. Second Yay - because the days are getting longer and I found this in daylight and not by torchlight after work and tea. Third yay - last time I was here I could walk across the lake because it was dry as a chip - today there was water back in the lake. TFTC kangadrew72 it was great to turn the blue sad face into a yellow smile. Took nothing left nothing but was great to see a new cache so full of goodies.
Nice little area was a bit busy so had to pass over a few times before making the find TFTC kangadrew72

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
Hi there Cache Owner,
This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.
Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Found @16:55 on the way home from the shops. The drier weather today proved in our favour but the recent rain has done a number on this cache. Some TLC might be needed. TFTC!
I tried looking for this one in the dark this morning - but gave up with so many muggles out walking. Tonight I came back with Bunadoorian - thinking two sets of eyes might find it. Sadly no. As there is no water in the area we could look all around and under the bridge without getting our feet wet. The only things we found were plenty of webs. Thank you for placing the cache kangadrew72 - hope to find it another time.
Had a look but unable to find. Onwards, may have to bring more people next time.
Great find with my three daughters on a sunny morning walk. Great for kids with swaps! Thanks
It was great to find this size cache in the suburbs. A nice quick find for us today. Thanks for the cache.

The first cache for the day today. A nice stroll to a nearby waterbody. Soon, OHC spied the cache and I was able to retrieve from where I was. Thanks so much for placing this cache kangadrew72, it’s nice to see a slightly larger one in the suburbs!
Last one for the morning - #7 of 7. The cache and contents are in good condition, with the exception of the log book which is saturated. Managed to sign it anyway. TFTC.
Thank you kangadrew72 for your cache, I came in from the m80 on my pushie and found a great area and very quite so I had the area to myself a quick find for me. I left a couple of coins,
the log was a little wet maybe a couple of hours in the sun will help.

Time with family coming back from staying with Claybol. Will get home tonight. TFTC
I was over on the M80 Bike Path chasing out some caches with mixed success when this one popped up on my GPS. A not so short walk across the M80 foot bridge or a long drive on another day... although the weather hadn't started out all that great, any rain was holding off so I went for a walk.
Plenty of *muggles* had the same idea so it was heavy traffic around GZ which slowed me down in my quest. Eventually I got my chance to grab the cache and sign the log... which was a bit damp!
Thanks **kangadrew72** for another cache in another interesting location...

First timer at Binnak Park! I’ve heard many great things about this lovely park, but never stopped to stroll through it before.
Out with Jeckleberryandtedd and our three dynamic geo-daughters (and their beanie boos), we wandered over to check out the Bunyip. Looked all over but couldn’t find him. Perhaps he is hibernating for the winter?
The ducks said hello, and the cache was retrieved and returned. Beautiful spot! TFTC

Out with TinkerTraveller and Geokids for a geocaching arvo of local caches that we have yet to find. Whilst it is cold, the kids were still in tshirts. Such a beautiful park, haven’t been here for years, so it was good to come back. TinkerTraveller's Geokid2 found the cache.

Out with BoabTree, we saw Mahogany Gums but no bunyips. We did find a cache though. Thanks kangadrew72
Via STRAVA, I had undertaken a challenge to cycle 100 miles in 2 weeks. Approaching my last day I still needed 13 miles (21 km). There were 6 caches within 3 km to the south of home that I had not yet found. So on a pleasant afternoon a bit of cycle-caching was in order. All 6 caches were found and with a bit of extra riding the 100 mile challenge was completed.
This Bunyip lived within a kilometre of home so it was the first collected. The cache was quickly found and in good condition. Thank you Kangadrew72.

On my way home from work via an event in celebration of OzHockeyChick's 6000th cache but grabbing a few caches along the way.
First for the trip, a short walk from the parking spot in a nice park not far from where I used to live.

No Bunyips today... it’s amazing the parks you find while geocaching, you only see them as a green patch on Google maps. SLTN Left my tag and a couple of critters for the kids. TFTC in a lovely park.
What a beautiful spot to make our 400 Cache. Both myself and my cousin have been on a race to get to 400 first and ......... she beat me.
Today was my chance to catch up. I was two days behind but I got there.
When we got here GeoDaughter was more interested in exploring the area which worked out well because she made the find.
Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful area.
No Bunnyips here today either.

This was an interesting park. I knew about the oval but never realised there was this whole reserve here.
There were no bunyips today, just frogs and cicadas. The sun was going down and very few people around. I switched on a torch at GZ in a likely place and saw the cache straightaway. The size setting is a good indicator of what to expect. Logbook a bit damp but still in reasonable condition. Zip lock is not water tight. This cache was worth coming out for and checking out the reserve. Thank you Mr Drew!

A nice easy find, A few possum bunyip's around tonight. And of course just as I got to GZ at 9.30pm a muggle appears from no-where. Anyway he was gone quickly and the log was was signed. A little damp inside the cache, but all is good with the log.
Thanks **kangadrew72**

Ah. Here I am again... Caches have come and gone, and I'd noted this new one, kangadrew72, when you got it published, but reserved it as a reasonably close hide for when I got around to a streak attempt.
So, with the weekend's hot weather about to turn into something cooler and wetter, I had enough time to do a very pleasant lap of the park.
The only bunyip here this afternoon is yours truly. Log in good knick.
Cheers mate... that makes it 36 days on the hop.

quick pick up in this well kept reserve, frogs to be heard but not seen.
looking for this cache, I wondered if there was any predators looking for frogs.
thanks kangadrew72

Sorry to report that no bunyips were around today. However, two pairs of ducks (Wood Duck and Pacific Black Duck) were there with a large number of ducklings. From the reeds two Pobblebonk frogs were shouting at each other. Perhaps the bunyip prefers the cover of darkness.
The cache blends in with its surroundings and was in good condition. Found with ICW. Tftc.

Found late in the dark... frogs ate deafening.. lovely. TFTC

Today was a must find day so, despite the cold, we braved the park. I've never seen so many dog walkers in such cold weather!
Somehow I feel like I've been here before.
Somehow I feel like I've been here before.
A little Black Cormorant sat and watched me as I searched for this one. I do not recall the predecessor but it is a good spot for a cache, thanks kangadrew72.
We found ourselves in a park that we recalled we had been to a few years back for an earlier cache. There was still the the odd muggle group wandering through but we managed to find a quiet moment and reached for the cache at 14:25. Nice to find such an upmarket container. Thanks Kanga
It was just a matter of waiting out the muggles and then getting into it, because where else would a bunyip hide a cache! Tftc
What a beautiful spot! I had the pleasure of signing the log in front of 5 ducks. Cache is in excellent condition. TFTC
Out and about with Mrs 80 degrees this morning , had our walk and now for a couple of driveby's with just a little walk. Made the easy find in another excellent parkland. The best thing about caching on a Friday is that there is non one around. Thanks for the cache kangadrew72
Out and about with MrsX this morning to pick up a few. With the morning now over this was our last for the day. MrsX had not been here before but I had - the cache was even found in the exact location of a previous cache at this spot. Thanks for bringing me back.
Rumour had it that the bunyip may have gone walkabout, but was found sleeping silently in his lair today...
Do you really want to wake him?
Do you really want to wake him?
Even with 4 people, we still could not find this cache. Maybe we'll look again sometime
Found in this delightful park near where my friends live on a visit to them on Good Friday with a group nine Muggles some of which could become geocachers. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely spot.
Out caching with GJMMelb and quiet1_au this afternoon. Nearby, there was a family of ducks, with the ducklings all hiding under mum! Very cute, and they were watching us closely. TFTC
After a shortish walk in from the close carpark we could find, we reached GZ and the hiding place was as to be expected - G' spotted it quickly and went to retrieve it whilst lochb and I watched several fluffy baby Wood Ducks hide under their mother's wings, both parents watching us closely - cute!. TFTC
Found with Lochb and Quiet1_au while caching in this area. We had a good idea where this cache would be. Nice park. Once at Gz I saw the cache from one position and then moved to another spot to retrieve it. Thanks kangadrew72

Kangadrew is under strict orders to rid this bridge of Bunyip webs, they look like spider webs but are thicker and stickier. To achieve this, he has hidden a bunyip treasure and us bunyip treasure hunters are the tool to remove these webs, I myself have removed a fair bit, on my hands, my head, my arms and probably all over my back.
Thanks for the treasure, good luck with your mission

Found OK. This park was the site of my first find. Unfortunately its no longer here. I know the park well -my kids went to kinder here .
Its a great resource for the community

Very quiet here today....once the council workers had left!!! Soon spotted the cache and safely returned it after signing the log. Nice to find a good size one so I could leave a geocoin. Thanks for bringing me to this lovely area.
Great little pond lots of friendly ducks managed to get the prize without being seen by the bunyip . Found a big round prize too
Not knowing what the future may hold I decided to go in search of the mythical Bunyip of Binnak Park this morning. I set out from home just after dawn but didn't arrive at the last noted location until after midday.
I made my way through the forest of trees and bushes until I could see the edge of a swamp ahead. Not wanting to alert the Bunyip to my presence I took a downwind approach and silently crept until I could see a possible location to view the Bunyip's lair.
The swamp was devoid of the Bunyip. Perhaps he was still out searching for a suitable mate. I was able to visit the lair and take the cache away to examine under the shade of one of the nearby Mahogany Gums.
After returning the cache I noticed some possible Bunyip food : 3 Pacific Black Ducks, 1 Australian Wood Duck and 1 White-necked Heron.
Thank you kangadrew72 for showing me where one local Bunyip is rumored to live.

Upon arriving at the home of the fabled Bunyip we were sure that we could hear it's calls. Our touring party comprised the two flame haired apprentices, their teacher and myself. As we got closer the calls got louder, we knew that, today, we would finally get a glimpse of the beast that we had all worked so hard in tracking it's location.
We had never heard these strange noises before and with myself taking the lead with the other explorers following the Bunyip sprung up, took one look at me and ran. The only way we can describe this is the noises we were hearing was the Bunyips mating call, and after taking one look at me he ran.
Never mind, we did get to find something else, a treasure so to speak, filled with all kinds of shinny gems. It also seemed that we had been the first to stumble upon this treasure, and as such we replaced it for all to enjoy, after making our mark of course. We did happen to remove one fine coin from the treasure case that we would be happy to give a new home.
Thank you Kangadrew for the data given to our touring party, I really hope that others get to see the Bunyip for longer than we did. {FTF} number 42.
