On a caching expedition with ozglory who were on a mission to claim the elusive Turtle. Sadly we were unable to find this one, despite having three pairs of eyes. We hunted high, we hunted low but this one was too good for us today.
Oh dear we came we searched we failed thanks for bringing us here. cheers from Ozglory
Lovely spot, will be back with the fishing rod. Found the cache just sitting on the footpath, Re-hid where we thought it probably lived.
Found with Anissa288 after attending a disappointing slice of haven at Laurieton.

Beautiful spot, we've picnic' here before. Found on our day trip south to a very disappointing visit to Slice of Haven, with Nudge74. Great day to be out caching instead! TFTC

#3199 was found in great condition. A nice spot to eat our burgers and chips.
I love these containers and I make heaps of them in my spare time
Thanks for placing this cache grey team.

A simple find during a quick stop at the park with the geokids. Enjoyed a scone and coffee nearby. TFTC
After grabbing a coffee at Miss Nellie’s, it was a short wander down to our next cache in Kendall. It’s better to read past logs here to give you clues about where to actually look because we eventually found the crafty container at 7m on safer, flatter ground.
Came to kendall for a rock and roll dance at the local club. Great dance floor. Pretty town. Walked down to find the cache while band was on a break. Bit overdressed for caching. Lucky no scrambling required. What a lovely spot. TFTC
We walked down to the wharf past a large group of older people sitting in a circle discussing something. I thought we might have to abandon the search but as I passed GZ well past them I was able to easily retrieve the cache and take it to the wharf for logging. This was in a really nice place although quite hot, and a few water dragons dived into the water as we approached. Thanks grey team for a good hide, I loved the location.
What a beautiful spot!
I'm waiting to catch a train so thought I'd find a couple of geocaches. I'm glad because this one has taken me to a beautiful spot. I wandered down to the wharf first which scared a few water dragons away. It's a really beautiful little picnic spot! So glad I came at a time when it wasn't in use so I could sit and dream of living in the house across the river, writing, kayaking and fishing in my spare time.
Your container is slightly broken. Needs regluing.

Finally found it now that its back. The cords are spot on but the little green marker moves when you hit start for some reason. Maybe its just my phone. Container needs a little more glue as it seperated.

It sure was a nice spot and no muggles hovering around. Came here to stay at the showgrounds for the night and thought I would put a few smileys on the map as well. TFTC Grey team
Co-ords were spot on with this cache... The park is a nice little spot for the kids to have a play. Took the time to read about the history on the nearby plaque. TFTC

enabled after a replacement cache, a move and some updated info in the description.
We wanted to find this . . . we tried hard enough . . . rechecking where others had looked . . . even PAF . . . but it wasn't to be, a DNF from us. Great spot though!
Finally, found on 2nd attempt after a hint from the CO. Very well hidden, the difficulty rating of 2.0 seems a little low though. Thanks for the cache.
Today we took a Sunday drive down to Laurieton & Kendall. A few caches to find, a couple of new caches & a previous DNF to look for. None of the caches I would call drive bys.
This was the hardest find of the day by far. Lookked far longer than normal, then decided to PAF. First call we had no reply. The second was quiet helpful & new appproxomately where it was. We were just about to call it a day, when bingo there it was.
This felt a much harder difficulty than listed. Reading the logs most have PAF or the CO.

We are just about to head home after another enjoyable day of Caching around the Bonny Hills area. We had a further hint given to us about this sneaky hide and found it quickly on our return visit. TNLN SL TFTC
Today we took another step in our slow journey south as we head back towards home, but it was not a very big step!
We pulled into Kendall for a look and of course to get this cache. After walking through town which admittedly didn't take long we ventured down to the river. The house nearby obviously isn't encouraging people to walk to the wharf from their side, but we skirted the fences and soon arrived at GZ. A lovely little spot! We sat and enjoyed the place also admiring the old railway bridge and then looked for the cache. We nearly missed it when locating it, but luckily Mrs SKI saw it and the jig was done. Back safe and sound.
Then we wandered under the bridge and through the park on the other side. Another lovely area.

Always nice to a DNF (make that x 2) into a Smiley!
Again I hunted around for 20 minutes trying what I would consider every D2/T1½ hide, and came up empty. PAF, and had some hint about the elevation, and it still took another 5 minutes! (As I had checked that area for a T2, or a T2½ possibility, but still come up empty!)
Glad that possibly I made it 'easier' for the next - unless they also had a PAF. So finally cleared out the "Closest" to home @ 48 km. Now to go the opposite direction for one @ 48.5 km - Then I think I will be okay, once I have finished logging caches already found.
Had a BUNCH of trackables with me, but NOTHING would fit here
Thanks for the Cache (even it is D… frustrating) grey team

What a glorious day for some Caching. Gave this one a good crack, but no joy for us today. Many thanks for bringing us here, lovely spot.
Cold wet afternoon but a good concert at Kendall Hall and hot chocolate at Miss Nellie's. Nearby cache so we said let's go. Getting colder and wetter so a quick call to CO was excusable and we soon had it in hand. Then the owner of the adjacent property appeared and wondered what we were doing in such conditions. I discovered a new passion for old wharves, distant railway bridges enshrouded in mist and wooden stair construction. Mrs LHBfans made a good decoy for for a photo and I eventually felt the need to tie my shoes and replace the cache. He'd lost interest in the weirdos by then. Anyway, nice hide. I'll give it a fave, considering the conditions. TFTC grey team. Found 18/6/17 3:57 pm.

First full day of my short trip to Port Macquarie. This is my opportunity to grab a stash of caches all day while the Geowife does her crafty things.
Found 25 including the first eight of the Mid North Coast Wander (was only willing to push the non-4WD mugglemobile so far) and a selection of other caches in around Port.
Actually beat her back to the motel by 10 minutes - and she had the key! Then out for dinner at Flynn's Beach.
A good day.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Came back this way - grabbed some petrol - and decided to go for this close by cache.
Parked near the Tramway Heritage sign, and then realised I needed to go around a bit to get to GZ.
Once there I checked the obvious - nope. Remembered a hide I'd seen elsewhere. So tried that - got it in the second possibility I checked. Sneaky.
Needed a found tool to make the grab and took to the bench to complete signing duties. Then back for the replace.

Oi Grey Team, you stole my idea for a geocache place! Ah well. I'm really looking forward to finding this geocache!
Camping out a Swans Crossing. Headed to town for some supplies and thought we would stop and find this little gem. TFTC
Just a 20 minute search here, as it was a GAFF1 with just the coordinates on the GPSr; but no success today. Not sure if this or the one at Gloucester is my closest to find, both being between 40 and 50 km from home. Must get them soon.
Found at 10:36 AM GAFF5 in the company of NurseHayley.
It has been a while since we have been able to get out on our Monday caching adventures and lately we have been hampered by the rain. However the good news is that it meant that a good number of caches have accumulated for us to do making a trip down to Camden Haven and then up to Kempsey and back worthwhile.
As we approached GZ - which BTW we have never been to before - we thought the worst. There was debris all over the place and Hayley even thought that the river had risen over the banks making it impossible for the cache to have survived. So we gingerly started to push masses of leaves and branches away and poke our fingers here and there wondering what little animal may be taking refuge and suddenly bite us [B)] The GPSr was also doing something weird. At the top we were getting 0.00 distance at the spot that we most likely thought the cache would be, but when we got down, it would indicate 9 metres away! So - after about 10 minutes of getting a bit muddy, we asked the CO for a bit of direction and voila - a cache was still there and dry as well
Thanks grey team.

Well i had fears that this cache might have been washed away with all this rain, but noooo, all safe and secure. But before Peter found the cache, we searched and searched but no luck. A quick call to the CO for a small hint and the cache was found. TFTC grey team

TFTC, I returned today after a hint from both the C.O and the prev finder to find the cache in a spot I had looked at but obviously not thorough enough. There used to be a nasty little nano cache nearby on the rusty machinery.
Well I have to say after 20 mins searching all over and under the structure for no find, I think its a bit higher than a D1.5.
Woohoo! FTF! Glad we checked the emails while we were working our way through DiMorgans Herons Creek caches and saw this notification while we were only a few km away! A bit of a hint then we turned it up. A really lovely spot we'd probably never have found. Thanks for bringing us here Grey Team.
