After a good sleep and the housework done we decided to go back and try find the 2 caches we missed in the dark and a few more on the trail. Quick find in the rain after working out ground zero. Log signed and cache replaced as it was found.Thanks Kyzabra for placing this cache for us to find.

Geology rocks but Geography is where it’s at!

Arrived at the first waypoint and worked out the numbers needed with ease.
A short walk later we were approaching GZ and Mr Z spied the cache soon after.

The kids asked last night if we could have a look at the map for some caches to find today.
They had a quick search of the area and asked to head down to Karnup for a bit of a bush walk.
With the sea breeze starting to take the edge off the day we gave SirFancy a call to see if he wanted to join us.
All caches were found without any issues and the kids enjoyed the walk along the train line too.
A fun start to the year had us grabbing 7finds and 0 DNF’s.

This is find number 3807 for me.

Found this one on the ground so rehid it a bit higher up according to the hint. Seems like the perfect spot for it anyway. Nice little 2-step multi. Favourite point here.

No luck for me on this one. Phone GPS jumping all over. Positive co ordinates are correct. I’ll try again another time perhaps

Looked for this while in the area and have replaced the cache on behalf of the CO.
Spent a pleasant few early morning hours in the area completing two active and one archived series. A lovely walk through the area and all caches found.
TFTC Kyzabra this is find # 7743 for us.

Will disable this til I head out.

It’s on my radar to get out here. Not sure why a needs archiving log should be logged if you haven’t visited the cache yourself.
Especially with just one DNF

Will try and get here shortly.

So this is where we got stuck ! Coordinates obtained and checked by PAF GZ was jumping everywhere using GPS and phone. Spent a lot of time about 30 minutes at least searching the more obvious places. Nothing to be found today, previous logs stated an easy find. And it was starting to get very hot . Will try another day. Thanks anyway Kyzabra ...

Staying in the area for the weekend we made time to find a few caches before heading homeward... We had to resort to opening the cache page in the browser to see the required info, but once that was obtained were soon headed moving on to GZ where Jase quickly found the prize in the obvious spot

It has been a long time since I got out and about for a cache run. Today the weather was magnificent and I had some free time so I grabbed my GPSr and headed out for a wonderful walk in this part of the world.


Thank goodness I could get reception here as my GPSr only showed some of the table I needed. But the prize was quickly found and I was on my way again.

Thanks for the cache Kyzabra, it was cache number 2236 for me and was number 12 in my run of 16 for today's geocaching effort.

These caches have been bugging me for a while, they come up close to my home, as the crow flys, yet quite a distance by road. Today was the day I decided to go for a walk and grab these.

A beautiful winter's day, picked up megawat60 from the train to tackle some SOR caching.
Now this was a multi like I like. Easy to solve and to find! Thanks for this multi and a fave point!

Caught the train down and met m4yb at Warnbro and we hit this series for a lovely walk before heading down to Mandurah.

This is a great series for kids and newbies and was most enjoyable to have the walk around this area. Was surprised at the Turn Around area.

Kept singing "turn around bright eyes" while hunting for this one. Then on returning to car, turn the radio on and its playing. Uncanny.

We found it after axell33 put the technical details in to lead us straight to the cool hide. Nice quick multi, Tyftc.

Quick walk down the track to this multi. Found the information needed and punched in the required numbers and off we went. Quick search turned up the prize. I worked for this company for a long time and never knew this was here. TFTC Kyzabra and thanks for bringing us here.

Accompanied with Everlasting and met with Richlink and iluvtrekking for the day. Found it and thanks for the cache.

Met up with Everlasting, Varuna and iluvtrekking at 9.30am on a very chilly morning. Enjoyed the six caches in the loop and had warmed up considerably when we returned to our cars one hour later. Thanks Kyzabra

Found this one on a great day of geocaching with old buddy urch in the driver's seat. Was a bit of a cook's tour starting out in MS Land before heading over this way. The gps devices were leading us around in circles at gz, but soon had the cache in hand regardless. Thanks for the smiley Kyzabra

Continuing along the second side of this trail, this time in full sun, which wasn't so pleasant, to the next cache. Nice to find a multi in the collection of trads. And a nicely constructed simple one. However, found that the GPS was inadequate to work out the necessary info, as the table with the details in was all jumbled up. Thankfully I had my phone so was able to work out GZ, so it was a short walk to find the final.

Well set up multi here and a fave from me

I do enjoy a good multi and try to complete as many as I can when time permits. I was in the area today and stopped by to work out the coords for this one. A well constructed multi here topped off with a nice hide to finish. Thankfully we had no trouble adding our name to the log book. TFTC .

I had just got in from shopping when I noticed there was some new caches published not to far away. I quickly loaded them on the GPS and headed out the door and made my way to this one first. As I pulled up I was joined by PP2 and webblyWA. We decided we might as well join forces and we continued getting all of them together. I was totally under dressed for caching today as I had thongs and a t-shirt on where everyone else had sand shoes and rain coats on lol...(this is what happens when you rush out for FTFS). A nice little series to do especially as it was a lot cooler today. TFTC Kyzabra

Ok enough singing it makes me cough. I can find a song for ever cache but after signing the log, I was amazed to find out that PP2 can sing a song with anyones name in it without making it up. Talented company we keep.

Had a spare couple of hours today so after heading into the city to buy a present I decided to check my emails and have seen that I missed a bunch of notifications an hour previous so loaded up the bunch of them by kyzabra and headed off, when I got to GZ and checked the map I remembered seeing a few archived caches along this route so loaded them into the Phone and made my way around the regional park collecting both series of caches, special thanks to Kyzabra for the new series and discovering the old caches, which are in pretty decent shape of you had rough hands to get them open, next cacher bring a butter knife to help get the caches opened, which I just did with some brute force.

I met up with some other cachers at the series which was nice to chat to you all.

After completing the loop track I was tired and went home for a sleep before Cravo rang and asked if I wanted to grab the new batch of SWH caches to which I agreed. Good day out with nearly twenty finds. Thanks to all the COs

After finishing work for the day we made a mad dash for this new series but when we pulled up and there was two cars parked near by we knew we had been beaten to it haha. a fairly simple puzzle which was nice for a change, found ourselves in the right location soon after. TFTC
