A quick stop in here as we headed eastwards a bit more.
So, a short story. As we drove in a VERY flash looking helicopter was parked next to the smaller 2 seaters you would expect to see on a station. I made a remark that the copter was a bit flash to be herding cattle with...
Not ours, I was told, that is Ray Martins & 60 Minutes...
They are in the area looking for Lassiters Reef of all things, will have to keep an eye on the story coming up on 60 Minutes.

We are heading off on an outback adventure with Mrs Just a Trifle looking forward to visiting Goodward Station in Boulia, which was once owned by her grandfather, and Mr Just a Trifle hoping to climb Ayers Rock before it is permanently closed to climbing
As usual, with responsibilities caring for grand children and elderly parents, we still can not take the time we would really like to explore this great land of ours so yet again it is mostly an express trip through some terrific locations.
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you generalmanager for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

I love the name of this one! An easy find - Tobernorey was " Out for a while- be back later" so no fuel for us here. Never mind we'll try the next one.
Over the past few weeks a group of us explored the Simpson Desert traversing along the Rig Road, WAA Line, French Line and the Hay River Track. Wow what an adventure we had out in the desert, except for the flies!
An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 6. With more flies for company in this roadside reserve, I was up Early to beat them today. Fuel in Boulia took me west all the way to Gemtree along the Plenty Highway.
A nice simple roadside stop before heading on my way west.
Thanks.

We were the first to log for 2018! Maybe this is the start of the tourist season?
Another one found! A truly great series and it provides nice breaks while driving along. We are heading across the Plenty to Alice and enjoying the caching at the same time Tftc
A great series to keep us alert! Has taken me 40 years to actually cross this road. A nice easy find. Tftc
Quick find on our way into the station. Great place to stop for lunch. Would have stayed but too early on the day.
After a leisurely bush camp last night and a few drinks around the camp fire we got off to a bit of a late start today and the sun was well up by the time we opened our eyes but that's what holidays are about so we arrived at Tobemorey quite refreshed and not tired even if it was already lunch time.
Instead of eating we decided to stop for a cache instead, fortunately the name said it all and the cache was a nice quick find and the log now contains our name.
The camp site looked quite inviting but it was a bit early in the day to be stopping
Thanks The Outback-Way for the cache.

A quick stop, grab and sign ,but a bit of a wait while 3 other vehicles passed..all aok with the cache..Thanks Outback..
At the Tobermory junction I could see a choice of two places the cache could be hiding
And parked next to the wrong one of course
The GPS soon pointed me to the correct spot,
so I didn't have to retread me steps
Wandering over to GZ,
I could see clearly where the cache might be
Under that pile of things that put holes in tyres around here !! [:o]

Driving from Winton to Alice Springs via the Plenty and collecting a few smilies along the way. We claimed a smilie for the original cache in '08 replaced it on our way through in '09 and now another smilie for yet another replacement.
Thanks The Outback Way
Thanks The Outback Way
Having spent a while with my head in the tyre, I then consulted the clue and saw what I should have seen on approach in the first place. Thanks TOW.

We are still travelling towards the Red Centre Experience mega Event at Alice Springs and picking up caches along the way, of course. We were at Tobermorey last year but enjoyed coming back again to pick up more caches along the way this time. This one was in the obvious place which made it so easy. Thanks to generalmanager for this cache.
Found on our travel across the Plenty Hwy to the Red Centre Experience.

Finally, it's time and i am on the way to Oz Mega in the Alice. Why not do a few caches along the way? Was narrowly beaten to this one by Bundyrumandcoke so a second to find for me. TFTC
