Waz and Vik I didn’t find your cache Jacksons Place on 16/9/2022, 4:32 pm. Had a quick look around but nothing found.
Had a good look around, agree with previous comment I would say this has been washed away given the flood damage visible in the area
No luck for us unfortunately. We had a good look up high and down low. There’s a lot of debris from recent flooding so it may be covered.
Nice quick find while caching in the area
And introducing friends to geocaching.
Thanks for the cache

On way to Caloundra for the day I detoured to Dayboro/Caboolture for a bit of caching and this was a nice one to find. Thanks W&V.
Taking what seemed a crazy route from Dayboro to another cache north west from there we saw a sign saying there was an historical location only 1.5 k’s from the road we were on. Always enjoying history we took the detour to Jackson’s location. Took some photos, admired the area and the lovely stream and thought to ourselves that there should be a cache at such a spot. Signal was wavering between 1 bar and none but shied us there is a cache to be found but not any details except for distance. Using hubby’s phone I narrowed the distance until I spotted somewhere that might be a good spot - and yes, there it was. So we were pleased to be taken to an historical place and tickled to find a cache with minimal info. Log signed all was returned as found. A fav point awarded for you having placed a cache here. Thanks Waz and Vic.
Cheers and happy caching!

Having been out this way before, so was aware of the patchy phone reception... and this was the first spot that I lost reception... while the GPS was booting up, I managed to spot the cache in its nook...
The temporary log page was a little damp, so I put it into a snap lock bag and added some silica to help with the damp... tftc...
Upon returning to the car, I spent some time removing the grass stalks that I’d collected from “A View to a kill” up the road..

Once there the cache hide was identified after we referred to the helpful additional hint.
Thanks for this hide Waz and Vik.

Found with GXYbuddy and SpectaclesOfRose on a cloudy morning. #1 for our geotour.
No water in the creek today . A quick find . All's good at gz . Thanks Waz and Vik
Continuing my challenges of a trad a day and of a cache a day and knowing I had to go to Caboolture way today I did a search to see if there was anything of purpose I required. Looking at my 360 it seems there are two particular caches I need and as I’m driving past it is probably a good idea to grab a couple others.
My first target was “a view to kill”, I had been up this way just over a week ago and didn’t take this road but today I past a couple on the highway then ducked off onto this side road to grab my target and another called “reflect on this”.
This was my fifth cache for the day and what a great place. I need to bring the kids here for a play this area needs to be explored a lot more. The small creek and the rocky pools would make for a fun outing. The cache was an easy find and the contents were all nice and dry. With the log signed and cache replaced as found I was off to my next one for the day. Thank you for bringing me here, all good with the cache and a worthy must come again.

Found cache container (plastic bottle wrapped in grey camouflage) but missing log book. Left against butt of tree, not sure exactly where it should’ve been.
How beautiful! This is not too far from my parents place, so visited GZ on the way to a birthday party late this afternoon.
GZ is stunning - the creek was super clear and running well. Thankfully everything is green again after the recent rains.
Great cache container and great hide in a great location - this cache gets a FP and will be on my list of memorable caches.
The kids stopped to play for a while and made a humorous video by the creek.
TFTC - TB visit!

Makes you wonder what was here in1907. Must have been tough for new settlers. TFTC
I've taken the week off as the the geomonsters are on school holidays. Fortunately Sandra had booked them into vacation care for the day, so it was either do some work in the peace and quiet or go out caching.
A slight detour from doing the Agatha Christie series. This was a nice quick find and a lovely little spot.
Thanks!!

Not that many muggles around here today and many good safe hides.

On our way home from Mt Mee, finding ourselves in Wamuran again with its good supply of caches.
I thought we'd found a cache here before as we were getting quite a de ja vu feeling but maybe just looks like somewhere else.
Quite a bit closer to the creek than we at first guessed but found safe in its little nook.
Lots of swaps - took coin, left pink goblet.

Up and about early this morning without the trusrtý Geo Dawg. The first time I've been caching in nearly 6 weeks so I thought I would try for a few easy ones
Thanks for the adventure and bringing me here Waz and Vik

2013, Metallica played a gig inside a dome at the Argentine Antarctic Base Carlini, thus becoming the first band ever to play on all seven continents. During the concert audio was transmitted to an audience made up of competition winning fans from Latin America through headphones. Staged in conjunction with Coca Cola Zero, it was only the second ever gig to take place on the continent, following a performance in 2007 from a group of musical scientists, called Nunatak, at British Antarctic Survey's Rothera Research Station as part of the Live Earth climate change awareness concerts.

Thanks, not quite what I was looking for at other locations yes mainly due to potential flooding. But once you are at the right angle you know straight away where it is
Ahh I remember visiting another cache here years ago. I think that was the trip my mum accidentally dropped my new camera straight onto the rocks of the creek surprisingly, no damage was done! Had a less distressing find here today, thank you!
We love these out of the way little parks that geocaching brings us to. All good with the cache. Thanks
Our last day in Caboolture decided to head west towards Woodford.
Visited many locations we had not been before, lots of great hides.
The cache was not where we expected it to be, thinking it would flood in that region.
Thanks for placing this cache

I agree that there are some wonderful locations that need a cache and this is definitely one of them. We parked next to the camp oven and wondered in all its spectacularism. I'm not sure I will be lining up for a BBQ any time soon.
However, the creek was spectacular. After finding the cache we spent a bit of time scrambling over the rocks and walking the creek bed admiring the tranquility. My son and I spent time searching for smooth round rocks to skim in the creek and I needed to know whether I still had it - I didn't!
My son was having a blast skimming rocks while I was taking multiple photos to try and get the perfect one on film. That was when a boulder decided to enter the water right next to me (from my sons hand) and I found myself drenched. Thankfully the photo film survived even if my son didn't know what I was talking about. tftc

Took a moment to read the plaque and then wandered down to the river to make the quick find. TFTC
I had no problems finding the GZ because I had a cache here some years ago and the cache was easy to find as well. TFTC.
One of our fav finds. Took a minute to enjoy the peaceful surroundings before beginning the hunt! Log book signed and cache returned. TFTC.
Dora the Explorer! and I was heading to Toowoomba today to grab a few targetted caches however we decided to grab a few other caches on the way. This was one of those caches as it was required to complete a particular challenge.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache was replaced exactly as found.
All is good with this cache.

I’d not been here before, when we saw a sign that said Historical site, I wondered aloud what it would be.
The creek here is lovely and someone has spent a while stacking rocks.
Cache was quickly located and there was an unexpected graffiti in the log book.
Thanks for the cache Waz and Vick.

I remember visiting this location many moons ago for a now archived geocache. Today with wombles and 1MinnieMoo it didn't take long to find the hidden beasty. Looks like a muggle with a talent for drawing parts of the body has found this one.

I had the awesomeness of having a day off work today which could mean only one thing... a day of caching with the girls - NyssaFlutterby and Wombles&Co!
We decided to head north and grab caches towards and around Woodford, so along the way we made a stop here. What an interesting spot! First of all there's the history with the camp oven, then there's the gorgeous creek area, which given time to explore would I'm sure be quite something! It was made even more whimsical today by a large number of butterflies, some quite a gorgeous vibrant blue.

Quick easy find nice location. Log book had rude picture on the back. Tb drop. Used this cache for something old something new challenge
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Its the end of the year as we know it. So we headed out from Woodford showgrounds to travel Mt Mee tourist drive and find a few caches along the way before returning to an event to finish our Geo Year.

What a lovely spot for a swim definatly going to come back to this spot with the family soon.
This was our last find for the day. We headed out with Slow Puncture to make a couple of finds together and grab something eat. They had already made the find here but were kind enough to pull over and let us make the find.
We were glad to be in the shade again next to some water. The water is crystal clear here. We located the cache and it had a descriptive bit of geo-art inside it, made us wonder who had made the scribble. We took nothing and left nothing, hence the picture is still inside for some other lucky cacher.
As we were signing the log, Mrs SP was doing a good clean up of the area and taking away the rubbish. Luckily she didn’t see these bad boys otherwise we might not of scored a free pair of shoes…

Out with stortigirls for a day of caching. We parked the geomobile and took time to read about the history here. Then we made our way to GZ, where we located the cache and signed the log. Such a pretty place here! We spent quite a while exploring here. I will definitely be back again for more exploring. TFTCC
Out with Selva Girls today tidying up some green boxes, so this cache was on our list. We spent a long time here, initially taking photos of the history, then exploring the creek and the diversity of wildlife and scenery. Thanks for bringing us here and tftc!
Found. Pretty difficult running around looking for it but found it eventually. Signed my name and check one off the list. Thank you for creating it.
Lovely countryside out here but everywhere is so dry at present. We made a quick find on this one. We signed the log and took the two TB'S inside. TFTC
Today I headed out on a solo run to clean up the caches around Caboolture and Wamuran.
I took the long way out down Campbells Pocket R and Basin Rd. Arriving at GZ I was reminded of the previous cache I have found here. I took the wander down to GZ, and made a quick find, but while I was opening the container, I heard a motorbike pull up and stop, and expected to have company looking for the cache, but I don't think they even knew I was there TFTC, Waz and Vik.

Out for a nice drive for Father's Day ending with lunch in Dayboro and last cache in Morayfield.
Arrived at GZ and took a walk around a lovely area which we had been here in the past.
Arrived to see cache exposed but all was in good order and we signed the log, discovered the TB and dropped in a TB before making sure well covered before we left.

Monday. Both Slow Punctures were out in the Wamuran/D'Aguilar area in search of caches.
We have been here in search of a different cache previously. The compass was playing with us but settled in the end and we made the find. We are a bit concerned about what will happen next time there is a flood, but hopefully the tether will stay in place.
This was the 2nd of 9 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Waz and Vik***, for showing us this place.

With a pirate-themed event happening at Caboolture today for the souvenir on offer, I decided to spend a couple of hours beforehand tidying up our remaining unfound caches between Morayfield and the Glasshouse area.
Enjoyed having a look around the historical area and loved the geology on offer in the creek, quite a variety of cool rocks to see there. Cache was soon found after wandering around under the tree canopy for a few minutes. Only when I was leaving did I realise I'd been here before for a cache find a few years back.
Thanks **Waz and Vik** for bringing us here, this find makes #3841. Discover our trackable TGQNRV.

Having secured FTF on nearby Catalexis we decided to chase down a few more smilies while enjoying the sunshine & a country drive.
Nice little spot.
The reception was a bit 'dodgy' but settled enough to get the job done.
All good with the cache.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Love it when a cache takes me to an area with a history - was wondering why a cache out here, then read the plaque. Imagine the hardship of that family way back then. TFTC
Had a great drive up through the hills to this cache with some amazing views across to the Glass House Mountains. Funnily enough we passed this way a while ago and said it was a great place for a cache but were concerned about it getting flooded out - hope the cache stays safe in its hide. TFTC Waz and Vik
2tf at 3.45pm Got a phone call thats there is a new cache out and we decided to go for it, although it did come out 20-30 mins before we headed off. We got there and looked around and around and checked the logs and still no find so we kept searching. I looked in a particular spot and didnt see anything and then Heather321 looked and she saw it. Oh my how did I miss that??? Then when we opened we saw we had been beaten to it. Argh bummer ...... but congrats to bikesu and uwe001 on their ftf TFTC

Just this morning, we decided to get those caches around Wamuran, and stopped for a short break at Jackson's Place. Not smelling that new cache lingering around.
After our 3 successfull finds in the morning, we were back home enjoying a cuppa. I checked my phone if there's a message from my brother, when I saw that email announcing a new cache! Inbox at 2.50 pm, read at 2.52 pm.
We finished our cups and off we went ... back there where we had been in the morning.
We did win this race! Signed the virgin logbook at 3.20 pm.
