I searched near GZ, but this is such a grotty place, except that my coordinates check out, I would have thought I had found the wrong place. Another DNF. Needs checking by CO.
A DNF for me. It was a bit of a quick search, as I was racing to get to the airport. Didn't have the time to do a thorough search. Hopefully it's still there.
Thanks for the puzzle. As Arnie would say "I'll be back!"

Staying overnight on my way to a mine site, I had selected a few caches that I wanted to find during my brief stay. I had solved this puzzle easily but I couldn't find the cache - I looked for a bit but daylight was fading and I was keen to get to the Wherigo before dark. Maybe another time, thank you for the puzzle Alicecaching.
With a couple puzzles solved before heading away to Alice Springs for our 20th wedding anniversary we were able to grab this one this morning while grabbing a few smilies as we were out this side of town. It still took a couple of minutes to locate the cache container though and it must of been pedestrian peak hour because of the passing muggles that kept appearing out of nowhere on their way into town. We quickly signed the log and returned the cache before heading back to the car, thanks Alicecaching for the puzzle and hide.
driven over from perth WA to visit Alice Springs and to find some of the local caches whilst here. Lots of muggles around but still managed to find all the caches we were looking for. Thanks To all the CO,S for placing these caches for us to find.
MrsMochila told me she was keen to understand and solve this one so I gave her a hand. I had an idea what to do, so tried out an idea and the answer seemed to fall or from there. We soon had the green light from the checker.
At GZ, it was another story. After a good search, we were about to give up and come back later. We sent an email to the 'owner' (in the hint) asking for a clue. MrsMochila suggested one last spot... Sure enough, it was the hide and the cache was found, mere seconds after requesting a clue.
What a clever hidey hole. A fun puzzle,TFTC.

Found by Mary & David at 1600. The engineer enjoyed the puzzle before we left home. Back here after a side trip to Darwin. Found it in good condition after a short search. Our thanks to Alicecaching.
Well I thought that Todd Mall would have been our last cache in Alice Springs this trip. But we called in here on our way to Desert Dwellers to buy a fan before heading bush. Thank goodness we did as I hate DNFs which I would have needed to post without this success. Nibletricecakes had taught me how to solve these during the Event so I knew I had the right coordinates just had trouble determining the exact GZ. Am giving faves to ,ystery aches that I solve or have been taught how to solve, so this one gets another fave from me. TFTC TNLN SL

Hi there Alicecaching - today is Monday - the last day of the event here at Blatherskite Park. After the Farewell event we decided to head out for a few caches that we had missed a few days ago south of town. We had an enjoyable day with some shopping thrown in before heading back to the park for the evening. This is my find #4514 - thanks to Alicecaching for this cache.
One last puzzle after the Red Centre Experience event. We had been here several times over the weekend but were unable to safely search for the cache due to many locals being in the area, today the coast was clear so Mrs Shifter looked and located the cache very quickly.
Thanks for the hide Alicecaching.

This puzzle was a bit tricky. Eventually got it sorted before our trip. Found today with Tomstache and 3350 while dodging local pedestrians.
Greatings from New Zealand, in Alice attending the rather large event and teamed up with CJ-Curry, Hevic, zuse7, granvillle86a and dghoff. For most of the caches we found today we signed as TTSS (Trans Tasman Swiss Squad).
Our last cache for the day and the one that attracted the most interest from the locals, almost got ran over by motorbikes down that path as well.

On Day Three of the epic adventure Hevic and I had throughout Alice Springs, we teamed up with a handful of other cachers to grab some caches throughout the town. We signed the majority of our logs as **TTSS** - the **Trans-Tasman Swiss Squad** comprising myself, Hevic, yorkshirekiwi83, zuse7, granville86a, and dghoffy. I'm glad to say that we did not have a single DNF all day. zuse7, granville86a and I even had races to most of the caches, and I think granville came out more-or-less on top. Thanks Squad!
This puzzle fell quickly - I blame my cryptography upbringing. What was a bit harder was finding the cache itself. We weren't quite expecting a hide like this, but D of dghoffy was brave enough to take the extra step and make the find. While there, a muggle came up to us and asked about what we were doing - figuring it was best to come clean, we taught her what geocaching is about. Cheers!

Visiting Alice Springs for the Red Centre Event. While in Alice Springs for a week were here to do as many caches as can be done. Caches found took us to many different places, whether they were in town or out in the countryside. Thanks to all CO for placing them. A great time was had. TFTC CO's

We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( South Australia and Northern Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!

Day 4 in Alice and the day was mostly spent in and around town. Thanks to all the COs for the wonderful hides and showing us around your lovely city.
Team ICE on a two week geocaching trip in Australia. Our main target was the Red Centre Experience at Alice Springs but of course we did some caching in other places too. We drove from Adelaide to Alice Springs and then back. We saw lots of interesting and beutiful places like opal mines at Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta. Our rental travelled almost 6500km on gravel and tarmac roads. The weather was great, only on last day we got some rain.
All the caches logged as Team Ice, T-ice or Tice with kapeka, laalaa and Hiltsu. We had a great trip!
We spent three days caching around Alice Springs. This is so different area than bushy flat desert around it. Lots of beautiful places to see. Truly Red Centre Experience for us.

A bit of work to solve this one... but before the event, I tried to solve the puzzles near the city. Caching as part of the TTSS (Trans Tasman Swiss Squad) today, we tackled the hide and were obviously spotted by people nearby. One of them came up to us and asked what we were doing, apparently they had seen lots of people around here lately and wanted to know what it was all about. So we told her about the game and she was happy with the explanation.

#6791 - 08:10; Day 13 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. We are in Alice Springs for the Red Centre Experience event which is the primary justification for our trip. Today's mission is to cache in and around Alice Springs, taking advantage of the public holiday to clear high muggle areas. In all the day saw us collect 67 finds without a DNF! Another great day . This was one of many puzzles solved in anticipation of the trip, so it was nice to pick it up on our first stop for the day. TFTC Alicecaching

We spent the next 5 days caching around the region enjoying the area and finding a lot of the local caches. A great spot to visit and well worth the effort to get here.

Geoboyfriend had solved this one at home so we wanted to give it a go however when we drove past GZ two cache finds ago, there was a bunch of muggles loitering around right where we needed to be. Now they had moved on so it was time to go in - the others had also previously found this one so it was up to geoboyfriend and I - geoboyfriend coming up with the goods. For a non-cacher, he's good at this!
Second visit here. I was reasonably confident with our figures so checked to see if any fence climbing was required. I was told no, so we tried again. Still having no success when three cachers from Qld and NSW, joined in the search. Their figures matched ours but we were still unable to log the find.
Muggle Hubby opted to climb over, and within seconds had located the cache for us all to sign.
Thanks for another good puzzle, and a happy face on our map.

One of the first mysteries I've solved. Did so with the help of some geocaches in town for some event? . Logged at team ABC (Ashlea13, Jess and Caro and Aussie Ben). Tftc
Nice puzzle which kept me busy for a while. We tried to locate the cache last night but it was too dark and we weren't comfortable leaving the geocars on the side of the road. Worked out the logistics and off we go to do the series on our bikes. Great fun!. Took around 2.5 hours to complete.
Thanks Alicecaching.
