Had a cursory look with no luck, then went back in and on a second look, found it. Tftc
got back here today after the co confirmed the cx still in its place and with a quick search was an easy find tftc
Nobody around when I came, so I was able to search where necessary to make the find. TFTC.
It was a nice day so I stopped off here and made a quick find. Not sure if I've ever been on this road but now I have. Thanks Sidewaze. Your cache is in good condition.
#8596. I have been over in the Nelson region for the past week, mainly up in Takaka on a work trip but managed to squeeze in some geocaching on the weekends either side and on a couple of other days. After driving back to Nelson last night and staying with a friend I had some time prior to my flight back to Wellington in the afternoon to pick up more caches in the Nelson area. This was one of them. My muggle friend has joined me on the trip today although she has geocached with me a few times now and knows what to look for.
Last cache find for this trip down south. We detoured in here to show my friend some rare ducks that are hanging out at the ponds in the Playhouse Cafe property. The ducks were duly seen so we drove back out and stopped by the shelter. Have found plenty of caches hidden in these types of spots before so knew where to start looking and was not disappointed. The logbook was duly signed and the cache was replaced where found. Thanks Sidewaze for hiding it here.

Work days are so much better when you can grab a cache or two after work, days are getting longer so managed to head out and this was a quick find. Thanks Sidewaze, all in good order.
I disabled my caches during Level 4 lockdown to encourage everyone to do the right thing. Now we’re moving to Level 3 I’m going to leave the decision to search for a cache or not to each individual. Remember you still need to stay in your bubble and a bit of hand sanitiser before and after handling a cache would be appropriate. Keep yourself and others safe.

Out for a Sunday drive in the sun today decided a trip down the "old road " might fit the bill - have done another cache in the vicinity before - nice to have another to here - no-one round today as we parked and grabbed yhanks for the cache
Having completed our requirement for our dot day today we decided wed cruise a litle in the sun grabbing a few caches. We remember being in this area before and is nice to return for another cache TFTC
All the kids in school, so I had time to look left and right and finally straight under.
Happy me to have several caches quite close to where I'm staying at the moment

Today we are a caching team divided by the Whangamoa. Two of us remain in Nelson beavering away at a couple of Puzzles, some Cycle-way caches and a bunch of Park’n’Grabs.
I didn't even get a chance to get out of the driver's seat before a small voice proclaimed "Got it!" Seems he'd had a similar experience just the other week. He's learning fast.
Some school muggles seem to have found the cache and written there own sort of log and filled up a few pages but it is safe and sound.
Thanks again and again Sidewaze!

We are on vacation in New Zealand and of course we seek some caches.
Thanks for this one!

Over from Melbourne visiting Jay’s family and grabbing the occasional cache on our travels. TFTC.
The Seagnoid, Toby, Zara and I are exploring the Tasman region again with the Giff evening last night. Today its Mapua to Motueka along the back roads in Toby - so lets GO!!
Hey this would have been a great place to park Zara last night - if we had only known. The Seagnoid looked and looked again and finally snagged and tagged this elusive one. Cheers

Taybeedragon and I were in Mapua last night, for the GIFF event, and today are winding our way via the back roads to Motueka.
I immediately went for the obvious place (okay, the usual place) while the dragon searched everywhere else. I didn't find it. It must be there! It's always there! I changed my search technigue and rechecked. Yep, it was there all along.
So this is where the Playhouse Theatre is!

At the end of my smaller hike in this area I was hungry for the last GC of today cause the real dinner was in sight.
Got satisfied even it wasn‘t eatable.
Thanks again!

Thanks again!
Not too many places this could have been hidden, in the end it took a rechecking of a previously 'searched' spot to find it, apart from that all good. TFTC Sidewaze.
Monday was Marlborough Anniversary Day, so a good chance for myself and Jo to head over the hill for a few smilies. It has been a while since we have done some caching, so we were looking forward to this. So we loaded up the bikes with the aim of sampling some of the good taste trail in and around Richmond and Hope. That proved to be a moderately successful few hours. Then a stop for some retail therapy and a bite to eat, and with the weather looking a little more menacing we decided to do rack up the steeds and do park and grabs for the rest of the day, in whichever way they fell. Good fun, and the rain never eventuated, so all up an enjoyable trip. Thanks to all COs, and apologies for the cut and paste.

A nice quick find on a sunny day, at last. Just trying to get my points up for Mary Hyde . TFTC
A nice easy grab here. If only the shelter resembled the one in the picture - then again, if it did the place probably wouldnt be deserted. Thanks for placing the cache and adding to our smilies
Heading back towards home and picking up a few straggler caches on the way. This was one of those. Soon located the cache in the obvious (Blenheim-esque) place. T F T C Sidewaze.
With a mild winters day on the cards for the weather, and daughter staying at a friends for the night, mrs capperz said she was keen for a trip ober to Mapua and piossibly lunch out too so I planned a modest trip with a couple of small walks and not too many caches (for once). We had a great lunch at the Sprig and Fern and a stroll along the beach and a generally nice day out. We even saw the Seagnoid caching around in the area too, Marlborough must have been quiet today.

Nana brought us here so that Diaz09 and I could find a cache all by ourselves - she knew we could do this one while she stayed in the car. tftc
A very familiar gz after previous cache visits. A nice sunny day for a bike ride with Kiwi Grandad. We enjoyed the quiet old way road pedalling to here and back the same way after the find.
Thanks Sidewaze for the cache.

Headed out for a few errands so decided to grab a few caches along the way. Having been in this area for an archived cache had a fair idea where to look.
Found this a couple of days ago but forgot to log it. Was in the second place i looked. Tftc
Found it in the obvious place. my siblings found this cache pretty quickly with use of the hint.nice place to hide a cache. thanks for the good views out to sea. Find #257
Out for a drive this afternoon to collect a few of the recently published caches.
I called by here a week or so ago and got muggles out.
Nice and quiet today.

Paddle Chick and I braved the elements and duck out to get a couple of caches,it had been fine most of the day and just as we left down came the rain.It didn't take long and we had the cache .Tftc Sidewaze
I needed a couple of caches today, it wasn't raining when I finished work but just starting when I picked up Nanzie. We got wet knees at the first cache. A change of plans for the second, I liked the idea of a cache with the word shelter in it. Good choice we stayed nice and dry and found quickly. TFTC sidewaze

I popped out for a drive around a few newish caches this morning before settling down to work. I had a pretty good idea about where to look for this cache. And there it was in the third place I looked. Second to find this cache today. TFTC, Biggles.
So, what happened the other day? I do not know.
I could not let the facts the CO had checked on the cache after my DNF *and* that it had also been found lie for long, so with an small caching related errand to run nearby, I thought I would stop off here this morning to vent my frustration.
I looked there, I just *know* I did. Perhaps just not properly enough. I wasn't there! I swear!
Ok, perhaps I just didn't look properly enough.

Last time here I was preparing for a 1.5km walk in the mud for a cache. Still enjoyed that day but today I'm quietly pleased for a park and grab.

Well it's not happening for me today!
DNF'd at The Old Way and again here.
Previous finders' logs of an 'easy find' only served to rub salt in the wound.

A very familar spot which we saw when finding a now archived multi. A quick find here for the first to be out of the car. No need for the shelter - it was cloudy but warming up fast.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Out for a wee drive after a bit of a roller coaster day. Had a chuckle as we approached because I should've realised where we were heading beforehand but I've been a bit preoccupied. Just as I was thinking we would head over the road for a drink and discuss the events of the day three classic cars all done up in their wedding finery passed and turned in so we went home to the cricket instead. Last time I stopped here was to go for a mud bash. Don't recall the shelter then.
Start of Mot week for us again.
Nice one and thank you Sidewaze

A nice change to drive this way going to town , a quick stop and sign the cache. Thanks Sidewaze.
We have stopped here a couple of times at least for nearby caches but I don't recall seeing this before. Instinct served us well here and the log was being signed about 30 seconds after getting out of the car.
Thank you Sidewaze.

GZ is slowly becoming a familiar spot. It sure is a nice place to make a brew but get your timing wrong and you can cook a meal between waves Thank you Sidewaze
The second first day find for me today. Parked the car so that I had some shelter while I made a quick find. Thanks Sidewaze for the cache.
