How can corgis resist a doggie multi? One of these guys is hanging out near where we're staying, and we found the second one at GZ at the end of our little explore around Newtown. Didn't read the listing carefully enough at first and began by looking at the wrong magnetic strip (doh), but after regrouping, we got the right idea, and solved for the final quickly enough. As previous finders have noted, the cap of the cache is still missing, and we had to scramble around in the shrubs to find one of the old logsheets. Signed on that and replaced it in the container, but this obviously could use a bit of TLC. Thanks for the dogs, though, and greetings from Singapore!
Well - it's not 3. As I walked by the GZ toward a pretty cool WW1 memorial in the next suburb, wondering what an Aussie defines as a couple of blocks, I saw the GZ. Self, says I, I wonder why there are no caches there. After reading the memorial in Camperdown, I headed back. Us no deductive reasoning - I.E. putting a different number for three and plotting those all the way back to the station, I again stumbled across the GZ. A quick check of some photos led to some colorful language but the walk was fantastic and I am the better for it. Your cap is still missing, so I put my log inside, where I found some others. Thanks for the cache and the lesson on the area...and beyond!
A quick find of this nice puzzle. The container is missing its lid and the log so missing so we added a ghetto log. CO has been advised of the need for maintenance.

OCW delloro today and our first to get the ball rolling. At WP1 we got the info quickly then a short stroll to GZ. Had to wait a minute for a muggle to stop browsing, then the quick find. Alas, no cap and no log, so we replaced with temporary log and managed to find something to keep it there. CO informed. TFTC
Day 6 in Sydney.
I came to Newtown to meet up a friend for dinner and found this cache is just right in front of the station. My friend didn’t know geocaching but I showed him the description and we worked together to solve the puzzle.
It took us awhile to find the metallic strip between the statue and Kings Street since it was quite dark at night, but once we found the right spot with drawings that fit the description, we were able to figure out the final coordinate in a short time. The final is located in a very interesting place.
Thanks for the fun multi-cache, we enjoyed it a lot!

Super pleased to be able to tick this one off.
Firstly we love dogs. Secondly, LeeLee doing a multi by herself. Then I wasn't sure on one of the numbers so went with what Crackers would say and a bit of research on previous logs and it paid off.
Had a laugh on the way walking past the fire station. They were dressing up the truck for Christmas. When I walked back past they had taken the beard off to make some alterations. I said 'oh no I was going to take a photo'. They went and got the beard and put it back on for me! Had a laugh.
TFTC now off to work

Found with Coybear2000. We were in the area with a friend and we decided to try for this one. Unfortunately we only had this on C's phone. We thought we'd worked out the co-ords, but it didn't sit with the description. C read a few previous logs that gave us the hint to where we'd gone wrong. With new co-ords we headed off and soon had CIH. The log is a scrap of a post it note and should be replaced. TFTC.
In the area with Trodectus, after a previous DNF, we had headed for this one. Arrived GZ and gathered the info, worked out new co-ords but didn't look right. Realised we had boobooed after reading previous logs and rewoeked co-ords looked better. Arrived GZ and was pleasantly surprised, signed log (scrap of paper) and returned. TFTC
This morning I decided to come over to Newtown and try and clear out some of my unfound caches and some of the newer ones around since I was last here.
After finding Railway Lane Newtown I came over here to look for the dogs. I've seen some of these statues around on my other caching travels, and could see this one as I waited to cross the road.
I found the metal strip but had some difficulty finding the answers for A,B and C. The final co-ordinates were nearly a kilometre away and I wondered if that was correct but began heading in that direction while looking for another cache on the way.
I had trouble finding street names so asked a couple of cops standing near the courthouse and they gave me directions towards my next destination. Hopeless directions as it turned out but along the way I spotted something that I'd seen in another location elsewhere in Sydney and it matched the hint for this so I gave it some closer inspection. And there was the cache!
So my co-ordinates were way out but I found it anyway!
TFTC - all interesting locations!

After solving the cache lthe day before, I went with a fellow geocacher to log the multi. With the cache in hand, we signed the book and that was that. Enjoyed the cache ; )
We were eating dinner at Beach Burrito Company and I opened up nearby geocaches and this one was literally 10m away! Straight outside the door
So after dinner we collected the WP1 information which was quick and straightforward and plugged the coords in.
Wow couldn't get even easier, the cache was right near where we parked our car too! Only about 40m away
So on the way back too the car we stopped by the cache. A nice quick find after getting distracted by what was in front of us first

Tftc. Found this one after a market stall cleared off.
GZ may have been muggled as there was no log in the apparent cache.
I replenished with a note i happened to have it my wallet and did the legals, but will remove my find if CO wishes.

Stuck at first before realizing that we were looking in the wrong place! After that, smooth sailing. Loved GZ. Cache in good condition. TFTC, fav point from me!

Doggone it !! If this isn't another fine and quirky, yes and devilish, cache of Mr 2qt2bstr818!!!
I love the buzz of Newtown, the graffiti, the hint of chaos, the alternative cafes, the neon noir and the shady goings-on in more-noir corners. It's a neighbourhood where pretty much anything might go down, and probably will, sooner or later. I once photographed an escaped rhino walking nonchalantly down King Street (it might have been a cow!).
Anyway, once again thank you, Mr 2qt2bstr818.
Where will you next take me??????

Nice little easy cache. Didnt bring a pen as wasnt planning on getting a cache but have photographic proof if needed TO TV
Nice cache to find while taking the geopups on a walk this morning. Thanks!
Well, just like Team Canary we had problems with A. However there is a limited number of options so we just worked back until we found the cache. And what an interesting place it was. It was being well and truly muggled when we got there, but patience paid off and they soon left, leaving us to sign the log. Thanks, cutie-pie.
I had trouble with this one as I got A wrong as I used the person's name on the devil picture.
Once that was sorted it was a cool hide. But twist not pull!?!

12/5/17. 12:42 PM. Cache #5003.
1 cache today, in Newtown.
A while ago, I had read the description about the second and third dog WPs not being needed for the cache, but somewhere along the way I had forgotten this fact, so I sought somewhere to park in the middle, to minimise what I thought would be a long walk (der) and stopped at the end of Alice St. I walked up to the standing dog, only to see that there was a muggle sitting on the low wall, right near the plaques that I needed to check.
I got a glimpse of the A word and thought that I was done with this WP, despite being a little too close to the muggle and attracting attention. I walked across Enmore Rd with the intention of heading to Dog #2 to get my B clue... and then realised my mistake before I'd gone too far. Ah, back across the road to the standing dog, but the @#$%ing muggle was staying put and I couldn't get close a second time without looking like a complete weirdo.
So, help from past finders was sought and provided. I wandered off to GZ where a touch of cache blindness on my part required more help. Finally, cache in hand! I signed the log and took a TB. While there, I took down the co-ords (east could be .001 less perhaps).
Of course, when I wandered back to standing dog, the muggle was just leaving. I checked the heads and word for B and C and these matched the co-ords where I had found the cache perfectly. I remembered that a nearby new cache ("Henson Park Code") had been published yesterday, and considered going for it, before realising that it was a puzzle cache and probably not a field puzzle. Plus I was out of time, so headed home. TFTC.

I am a dog-a-holic so this cache was perfect for me. I e often wondered about these dogs in Newtown.
WP1 was busy, as usual but the muggles didn't stop me gathering the required info from the artwork once I'd worked out which strip to focus one.
GZ was a short walk away and in one of my favourite things !! I spotted the cache right away and then took a few minutes to check out the "deposits"
Dropped TB
Fav point for this one, I love Newtown

Managed to find this on a Sunday afternoon despite the muggle hoards in Newtown. TFTC 2qt2bstr818
Yay!!! Finally we got there in the end!!! F2F with Frazel, Jordsau, Morry09 and ADI. Not sure about the metres away in the description, had us a bit confused at first, followed the original coords and we reached the gz.
5 May 2017 @ 7:50 pm
Caching team: Frazel, Ashley.kate, JordsAu and Morry9
{FTF} The longest multi find for a FTF!!! Took a few people to come to an agreement and reaching gz! Eventually found though!

Raced to make "FTF" and after a team effort with Ashley.kate, Jordsau, morry9 and ADI we made the find, found the descrption to be a bit misleading. HAPPY TO HAVE "FTF"
Joint {FTF} with JordsAU, Adi, frazzel,Ashley.kate. I picked JordsAU up and made our way to newtown. When we arrived met Adi at Way pt 1 and walked around for a while, then the others rocked up and found the right spot to take us to GZ. We started walking and realised the cache should be only a couple of meters away from way pt 1, we headed back and started looking for ages and then decide to head back to our original location! Finally found the cache. I wouldn't call this a 2 metre walk, more like a 200 metres. Cheers for the cache!
5/5/17 {FTF} joint First To Find with AlphaDeltaIndigo, ashley.kate, frazel and morry9, at 7:50 PM. I noticed this new Multi Cache had been published and arranged to meet up with morry9 to head into Newtown together. I caught wind that AlphaDeltaIndigo was on her way, as well as frazel and ashley.kate, who were not far behind us. Upon arrival at a very active Waypoint 1, AlphaDeltaIndigo greeted us and we started working through the first waypoint. We struggled to match up the description at the location and were coming up with a few different answers, but none were a couple of metres away, as stipulated in the listing. Frazel and ashley.kate turned up not too long after and we expressed our growing frustrations. We kept working through the field puzzle, until the newcomers spotted what we had overlooked from the start. This made identifying the items much easier but we were still not getting a final location only a couple of metres away. Hmm. We searched around the nearby vicinity but could not turn anything up. Then, we decided to revisit one of our earlier sets of coordinates, despite it being more like a couple of hundred metres from the listed coordinates. We walked over and as soon as reached the point on the map, the hint suddenly made sense and we made an immediate find. With the Cache In Hand, we opened it up to reveal a blank log! We performed the signing duties to lock in our joint First To Find efforts, before returning the cache to its original hiding spot. Thanks For The Multi Cache 2qt2bstr818, we got there in the end.
