This one is no longer possible to find as the WP's are all archived. I went to GZ as I am a previous finder and there is no longer a cache container at GZ

31-Jan-24
Together with my wife Geomum007 we enjoyed the location but it appears that local council have removed any signage to even be able to start this cache. Was a little disappointed but enjoyed exploring the area. Maybe the Cache Owner could look into this and update us all.

31-Jan-24
Explored the swamp area for any clues to solve this puzzle, had absolutely no luck, walked in three different directions to find any signage related to 'Swamp Walk' there doesn't appear to be any. Messaged the CO before checking the area and have had no reply. No successful finds on this one since 2021. Could do with updating/maintenance.

31-Jan-24
Doesn't seem that this cache can be solved anymore. If possible could the CO please check. Thank you!

11-Feb-23
Cannot do this as only swamp walk 2 is showing up on the app.

10-Sep-21
Could not find Swamp Walk 6 but estimated where GZ should be approximately. Identified the area after reading previous posts. Must be really well hidden!!!!

17-Aug-21
Yes! Finally we found this cashe. Very well hidden. The logbook is wet though Sad but we could still write on it.

We have placed a needs maintenance due to #3 not in existence.
When we first made the decision to complete this series we noticed that #3 was not in play and had thought that there would be the number for this cache in one of the other series caches. Once we had completed numbers 1,2,4,5, and 6 we soon realised that we were down an important number. We read through the logs to see who had completed this cache and hoped that someone could help us.
We were fortunate to find a cacher who had kept this information and we were able to make our calculations.
We arrived at GZ and with the two previous DNF's in our heads we could see why, the grass here is very long and thick. Once the GPS had settled down and we had looked everywhere for the log mentioned in the hint without finding the cache hubby stumbled over an item that moved and lo and behold it was the cache. This did not quite meet the item mentioned in the hint.

This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache.

01-Aug-21
This log itself is available and needs no further action.

As for #3, it is currently down and the answer for #3 will be in the log at the bottom. The hint is relevant however could also be known as a stump so make what you will of that hint.

I apologise for #3 being missing. I’m very sick and medically grounded 5h away so I can stay alive. I also took these caches over from someone else who was having some serious medical issues, however I was fine at the time of the take over. So please be mindful that sometimes co ords are out a couple meters this happens from time to time. I also ask that you don’t attack anyone hider or hunter, you don’t know what others are dealing with or facing.

Thank you to those who do the right thing and have fun.

Thanks Hayley.

Happy hunting.

#3 = C = 7

Went back a couple of times to find this one but no luck even after confirming the co-ords with CO.

Swamp Walk - Secrets Of The Swamp was transferred from Syk1 to user halez1993

29-Aug-20
Caches need to be able to be found without the need to email the cache owner sorry.

I'll disable this one until you can get to it.

22-Aug-20
Found it. yah! What a ripper of a cache Syk1, very ingenious!
Bit of an odyssey this one for us, we didn't have Swamp Walk 4 clue as it was missing in action at the time, so we tried substituting all numbers 0 to 9 into the co-ords! After lots of attempts and no luck we contacted the owner, confirmed the missing number and Eureka!

16-Aug-20
This cache can remain active. At this moment due to illness I am unable to replace the other caches, but if people send me a message I am happy to give the coordinates until this series can be replaced.
Can seekers please just send a message for the coordinates to avoid further issues.

Bundaberg Day 6
In the afternoon I went out with Liz and Bruce to find a couple of caches & return to a couple I had previously had a DNF on.
It was 2 years ago I completed the rest of the series, The final GZ had a fire ravage the area & I presumed the log had been incinerated but surprisingly it had survived.
Today the area was a different scene with very long grass. A short search & we found the excellent hide within a few meters of where the GPS said it was.
FP given
Thanks for placing this cache Syk1

Finally after starting this one some years ago we were able to find this wonderfully concealed final and we were with DiMorgan who we had been with when we had done the rest of this multi. Fav point alloc. Thanks

This was my second time looking for this cache. I finally found it. Not sure if it was just a crap GPS day but it was put by 15/16meters. Was definitely a fun one though. TFTC.

24-Dec-19
Missing two of the numbers

08-Dec-19
Got all the clues but at our gz had no luck. Maybe it was the heat 39 degrees that got us in the end. Hope to be back

01-Nov-19
Replaced and ready to go.

30-Oct-19
New containers have arrived. This series will be maintained and reactivated on the 1/11/19.

a couple of stops along the way Wink
and a nice wonder through the forest looking for some bones [:o)]

day 2 and off to bundy for the day

this one caught my eye and was added to the list with the needed caches for the info
unfortunately i didn't read the needed caches info [|)][:(!][|)]

this looked like so much fun but with 3 of the pieces of info missing ... and they are needed ... we sadly didn't get to do it

I did this series about 10 days ago, but couldn't find this fellow. With the recent fire in the vicinity, I thought it was gone, but today I spent more time there and found the elusive fellow. Thanks for this cache and the whole series.

WOW Smile
What a lot of fun that walk was.
Walked past the cache 4 times waiting for muggles to move on.
Scratched head, pulled faces, looked at burnt out site from lots of different angles.
Finally, AHA! You sneaky devil Syk1.
Definitely the best cache we've done in our short time.
Dropped a TB in.

24-Sep-18
Have had the clues for this one for quite a while.
Decided today was the day.
Did not look promising with all that burnt area and the DNF's.
The smileys encouraged me so set off full of confidence.
Strolled slowly back and forth watching all the muggles walking by, school holidays of course just to make it harder.
When I finally got the chance to just stand back and have a good look at the site, the cache was soon easy enough to pick out.

TFTC. We were getting some minor work done on the Motorhome at a nearby business. Rather than travel back and forth to Branyan we decided to explore Baldwin Swamp and surrounds. We had on a previous visit found Swamp Walk #1. This was a good opportunity to finish the walk. We parked the car at the Sugar Train Playground and walked the park. The finds were all relatively quick. A great series. Thanks Syk1.
We arrived at GZ to see a burnt out area. we read comments from the previous weekend and after a look around we resigned ourselves to a dnf. I messaged Syk1. At a cache not far away he replied. He was at GZ and the cache was actually there. He was responding to the weekend's dnf. As we walked back we met the CO and had a chat about the various caches around town. We returned to GZ and soon had the cache in hand. Talk about luck. Thanks Syk1 and it was great to meet you.

01-Sep-18
The area where we have calculated as the final has had a recent bushfire through here.
No evidence of a cache exists.

01-Sep-18
We are pretty sure we were at the correct coords and unfortunately the area has recently been burnt out.

23-Aug-18
After P Prime logged that he found the original container I have been looking a few times. Today I found it in wet condition. I decided to keep the new container in place as it seems more weatherproof.

27-Jul-18
Found. Very clever. Would not have found it without the clue and even then I was looking for the wrong thing. Just about fell over it. Best one I have done so far. Blue Bear find.

OK, back to Bundy (again) - this time today I am in the Swamp for an 80th birthday party, and I couldn't resist another look where I was last time. Only be gone a few minutes guys! Circled around my chosen spot once again, a little bit of scrabbling around .... Oh, THERE you are. OK, hint didn't help me at all (although I can see why it - now). Well camo'd.

Took some time to open it up - ummmm, "no longer has a lock"? Did I find the original? I think I might have - there were names in the logbook from not this year. I am a little confused perhaps. But MY name is in the logbook, so happy about that. Swamp walked.

Thanks for placing this cache, Syk1. Found in wet condition, but still serviceable.
Cool *{Overall find #5750}* Cool

13-May-18
Up to Bundy overnight for in-law business, but early Sunday morning is MY time. So, here I am, the last remaining bastion of unfound caches in Bundaberg for me. Coffee in one hand, GPSr in the other, Bats overhead, wet grass underfoot. Sun barely risen. Aaaah, paradise!

Having collected clues (thanks for the one MIA) - including one I logged a year or so ago but needed to return to for the clue - I had a viable location to head to. Arrived and ... nothing looked 'right' to me. I hunted around for a bit but left empty.

Seems I was in the right place, I guess my work in Bundy is not yet fully complete afterall. Awesome!!!

24-Feb-18
This one was replaced recently but I have been a bit busy and now have the chance to reactivate it again.
The cache has changed a little and no longer has a lock, but shoulld be less obvious to muggles as well.

16-Dec-17
Finally contacted by the council yesterday and they said I could replace this cache. I may change the container slightly when I replace it in the next week but wil add details to the 'enable' log and description (if necessary).

23-Oct-17
Still waiting for park management to get back to me. Tried calling again today and waiting for reply.

09-Oct-17
I will be contacting park management today and checking the area. If all is good the cache should be back in place by the end of this week. Fingers crossed!

20-Sep-17
After talking to park management I have been advised that there is a high fire danger in the area where the container is kept. They have advised that placing the cache back at the moment is possible but I run the risk of damage if a fire breaks out. I will check the area tomorrow, and hope the rain forecast can aid in reducing risk to the area and cache container.

03-Sep-17
Unable to get a new container this week. Hoping to find one during the week. Also told by council that it may need to be moved as the grass is dry and fire may occur, destroying the cache if in current location.

03-Sep-17
Previous log was a note, not maintenance.

27-Aug-17
On my morning walk, I stopped to check the container. Apparently it has been stolen overnight (possibly by the same vandals who caused some damage around the swamp last night) and I am unable to locate it. I will have the cache replaced in the next few days.

07-Aug-17
What an extremely clever and well thought out cache this proved to be due to how it was opened, the contents and to the great camo it had! Much planning and implementation has gone into this series and especially this final one. We are very pleased to give you a much deserved fav from us for this great Series and also for the very interesting notes that we did appreciate.

We were in the area grabbing another cache we had targeted and decided to do these seeing as it was a nice area. Cache found and signed and then replaced as found. Thanks Syk1 Big Grin

27-Jul-17
Wow, this is the best cache in Bundy - well hidden and so many great treasures ready to be swapped. Picked up the travel bug, will take it with us when we head to Hervey Bay in a few weeks time Smile

23-Jul-17
Well, I really enjoyed my wander around the swamp. What a great area so close to town. There were heaps of lovely birds, and surprisingly few people for a lovely Sunday morning. I didn't find the first cache in the series, but used an educated guess which proved right for that clue. Nice final hide. Dropped off a TB. TFTC Fav point for the series.

On our way back home from wonderful holidays around Airlie Beach and Rockhampton. Enjoyed sightseeing, meeting fellow cachers and getting smilies.

Caching a bit before the today's event.

Found No 2-6 ... Got the puzzle solved. Big fun! Thanks Syk1

Update: made a second attempt for No 1 .... And got it.

I had five of the six numbers in me pocket,
but in the interests of shortening me walk around the swamp today,
I headed for the likely spot where the cache lurked Big Grin

For a regular sized cache this one was unusually difficult to spot !! [:o]
The camo is working despite lots of it wearing off the box [^]

TFTC and a fitting finale (almost) to a great swamp walk [^]

14-Jun-17
Woo hoo!!

Couldn't find cache number 3 to get the code, sent a message to the CO and got a reply within minutes! Woo hoo!!

The kids loved this! Great hide! We love finding larger caches so the girls can swap things!

Thanks so much!

What a journey! Started off finding all the bisons snapped a pen after my second one so had to return with another the next day, found the last 4 but ran out of time to find the mystery cache, this morning I had the wrong coordinates by 2 numbers and ran out of time as I had to go to work this afternoon I couldn't contain the anticipation and ran from my car to GZ found it finally! Loved the camo also picked up TB thanks for the awesome geocaches...im exhausted haha

31-May-17
Went for an early morning walk today, dropped off a few trackables and hoping they can continue on their missions. Wink

30-May-17
Had to start again to get all numbers ! Got it all solved! Good exercises! Awesome! A fav from me! TFTC

29-May-17
Now that have 6 numbers to attempt the Final we started our walk and we then realised that the Final was in the direction Arrived close to GZ and commenced the search. Found the very well camouflaged container not that far from where we left the track. Used the magic numbers and soon was appending our name in the log book. Very good walk through this swamp and has earned you a favourite point for this multi. 6 hides and the final. No to go to the Northside of the River to maintain some of our hides up there then out to Bucca for the one out there. TFTC Syk1

Today is the day for Bundy's big event Smile Having spent the night camped at the CO residence, this morning he was looking a little dejected Sad Over a morning cuppa, he informed me that all his caches for today had been published Razz I did feel for him as the same had happened to me in Nanango a couple of years ago Big Grin
On checking my phone, no they weren't up Sad hang on I'll give you the cords Big Grin I beamed back at him.

So at approx. 0900 I started searching, not expecting the results that were achieved.
This was No7 *FTF* [^] and the final, one very happy cacher, this took a little help, Dummy me had some of the numbers mixed up Sad Got there in the end Razz
All cords were near enough to being spot on [^]

A special thankyou to the CO for his hospitality and the work that he put into these caches and the event this afternoon Big Grin
TFTC Syk1 I'll start off the favourites [^]
