We arrived yesterday in Australia, Sydney and today our plan was to visit this beautiful track! Thanks for this cache with nice wievs!
Holey Moley lots of little crevices to hide a cache!!Found after a little poking around.TFTC
This was the 4th of Many caches found on my day out caching in the Eastern Suburbs. This one took me much longer than it should have, I didn't realise that I had walked past the red cross the hint refers to, as I was searching in the wrong area for ages, and as I was about to give up and return to the track, I noticed something, could that be the red cross the hint refers to? you bet it was, thanks for the cache oldmorty!
That was mean. Holes everywhere. I put my bag down and looked in the wrong direction. Bag almost on top of it!!Id suggest you skip this unless you have patience. Enough. No more for the day giving up. Thanks anyway.
Out with geospouse, Gatherer Hade, for a coastal walk, having read a couple of logs, we took note of the hint, tftc
After seeing the last log I went for a walk out to the point this afternoon. There is no fencing/barriers and the cache is totally accessible and I can confirm that it's still in its hidey hole.
Found red cross and ruin, but it does not look like the pics now as all fenced in. If its in there it is no longer accessible.
This took a bit of time to find. Should have stuck more to the clue than the GPS. TFTC
Ooh, this one was tricky for me. My GPS told me it was 10m east of the hint.I went down and took a photo of the ruin and began the search for the cache. My vertigo kicked in and the eroded rocks began looking like skulls. Regardless, i kept looking in all the holes, without getting too close to the edges. With shaky legs and a feeling of failure I returned to the track.Later, I met Trucky looking for another cache. He assured me it was there and not where I was looking.Again, my battery was flat but I remembered the hints, so I returned and found it!TFTC!
A really nice spot for a cache. Using the hint, it didn't take long to find the cache in its hiding spot. TFTC!
Cache is missing. It will be out of action for a couple of weeks while I await delivery of a new container.
Found the cross and searched everywhere around that for a good while. But weren't successfull. Tftc
Despite the breathtaking views and great weather, and finding the said hint, I unfortunately was unsuccessful on this one. I didnt mind though, so stunning in this area. The location reminded me very much of some of the Georges River hides back on my home location.
Omg this cache was so cool!! A beautiful walk along the rock led me to coordinates which were abit of GZ. Read the clue and soon after found the cache.
That took longer than it should have. I was searching everywhere when I eventually spotted it
Pretty sure we got a FTF here many years ago, but back then the cache was somewhere down the bottom and we needed to climb down iron poles in the cliff and I think ropes to descend to it. This one was much friendlier! Great views today! TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
#6424.I dropped off my parents at the airport and had to kill some time whilst waiting for the traffic to settle a bit before returning home. I decided to spend the morning exploring a bit of the coastline. This spot really is magic! The views are spectacular. Finding the cache was not so easy. It took me quite a while to find the sneaky hide. TFTC! FP awarded.
Now THAT took longer than it should! So many hides holes to checkLog dry and in good nick TFTC
Zusammen mit Tantchen BellaMin vom TeamTweeny Netti whrend des AuPairJahres gefunden und das Logbuch signiertTftc
Third day of my trip to Sydney and Tasmania. Together with my niece (she is living here for 1 year) we went this nice walk, passing this small cache.TFTC
In Sydney for a few days catching up with our son. While it was a windy day, it was an opportunity to take a walk along the coast and explore this lovely area. Even got to check out a number of whales.Spent time watching the whales breaching, then found this neat little hide. Thanks for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Ms Atalanta and I set off today to do some caching along this track. She also has a great interest in whales, so we were dual tasking top some extent. This was a wonderful place for whale watching; in fact another couple was there doing exactly that. After a brief search, we had CIH.TFTC
6251 5 October 2023 A visited to the Eastern suburbs today to collect some cache finds. It's been sometime since we were caching in the area. Took us a little while until found.SLTFTC oldmorty
almost 18 months later, i returned to find this cache today! and i have no idea why i couldn't find it last time because it was a quick cih today. photo for proof as i forgot (or lost) my pen
Out caching today in Randwick to meet qualifications for GC9YC5Q “Sutherland Shire LGA Challenge Series Silver 4” - Randwick is the only LGA I don’t have so here we are!
GPS led me a bit astray on this one as previous logs have mentioned but the hint was my friend! TFTC!

Got a bit turned around trying to find this one, but hint led me straight to it. Awesome spot!

Clever hide. Pay attention to the hint, our GPS led us astray. Found while caching with Jaybeem! TFTC
Hadn't realised this was a replacement of one already found but love coming to this spot anyway. TFTC. Again!
Found together with Fred, he has found this but kt was a great opportunity for us to make the find here.

Another failed find 3.5 years ago. I was hoping for better luck this time. Still spent some time walking around in circles and after ages I finally saw the red cross that I failed to see last time. There was lot of water pooled everywhere but then spied a very sneaky clever hidey hole. Please let it be here. And there it was. Very well hidden but almost in plain sight.
It ws time for coffee and a bite to eat, so back where I came from and met Everest High further down the track.

Thanks for this. Found while out for a walk didn’t have a pen so took the photo. My GPS was a bit out so the clue helped!

Mr 5 managed to spot this pretty quickly! He was facinated by the cache container, and came to show me, and I told him that’s it!
Finding the cache was easy, keeping Mr 5 and 9 away from the edge was Mitch harder

Tftc, been years since visiting the blessings. Big rock fall in the years gone by.
TFTC! Decided to go on this lively walk with the family. The clue was more than welcomed and found eventually
no luck here, had a look in all the places i would think to hide this style of cache. did manage to do some whale watching from the roof of the bunker though so that was fun
Situation remains as per my note of 17 Nov. A check of the website indicates work is expected to be finished by the end of the month.
Checked this today. The sign on the locked gate indicates that the boardwalk was proposed to reopen in September, however, a check of the website indicates that the work won't be completed until December. There appeared to be no one on site today to confirm this advice. I'll endeavour to give regular updates regarding the progress of work.
Upgrades for walking tracks in Malabar Headland National Park
Boora Point walking track is closed between the northern entrance of the park and Boora Point until late December 2021.

I have it on good advice from NPWS that the walking track will re-open on 30 Oct.
Found on Australia Day doing the Malabar to Maroubra Coastal Walk!
Trail was very quiet compared to the hoards at Maroubra Beach, and the views were spectacular on a 35 degree day!
Using the hint, this was a quick find & replace. Cache, bag and log are all in great nick!

Thanks for another fantastic cache location. Used the hint and it was spot on. Sat here for a while snuggle view and the nice breeze on an overcast day
Walkies with geowife today round the headlands. With the heat and a promise of an iced latte means not too many stops for caches Made sure to pick up this one after finding the hint item and a suitable nook. Tftc
Continued our walk this morning and came to this great spot - so beautiful! I found it but then gave Miss 4 some hints so she got to ‘find it’ haha. Great area! TFTC and fav point from me!
I spotted the clue on approach but it didn’t seem to help at all.
I spent a good half hour checking out every hole or possible hiding spot in the area multiple times but wasn’t able to find anything.
Maybe next time.

Tossing up to continue along the track or return to the car after my last find, the decision to save doubling back another day won and the view at the end was indeed magical. Had GZ to myself for some time as I searched high and low, changing elevation more than the terrain rating indicated but eventually spotted the hint and cache. Any longer and I would have been joined by a lot of arriving muggles curious as to my drunken bee antics.
So, Apologies for the very very late logging of this cache. We got away to sydney a couple of weeks before the Covid lockdown, and things just caught up with us, and somehow, I never got around to logging them.
We did this one on the day we returned to Canberra, and we had no idea that Sydney had such a wonderful coastal hideaway so close to everything. We loved the walk around the coastline, and we're looking forward to returning, with a day pack for of food and drink, to explore everything the area has to offer, and find all of the other caches.
Thanks for the Cache oldmorty, that's a fantastic view.

After a really lovely walk I started searching after finding the item in the hint.
Where to hide a small here?
After guessing correctly I soon uncovered the cache that most people would consider a micro.
Hopefully I’ll use that knowledge back at the Mystery I just missed!?!
TFTC.

Found after second attempt. The GPS is a bit jumpy, so we ignored it and followed the hint. Cache soon in hand. Thanks again, Old Morty!
Cache and whale check today revealed that they are both in situ; well the whales were heading south, but not before waving good bye - see photo attached.
Nope no luck for me and the gps was not pointing to the bunker as mentioned in the hint. Not sure where you could hide a cache in the location indicated considering the high chance that it would be washed away.
No luck with this one. I was a bit concerned about heading off the trail. My GPS was not taking me anywhere near the bunker, so I'm not sure if the hint is out of date since the cache was moved. I think the terrain and difficulty rating at 1.5 is a bit tough given the walk in that is required, plus a scramble over rocks with so many hiding options.
Found it after a previous not found. Out for a family walk on Mother's Day. Looks like we are first to find after the replacement. Nice hide. Tftc

Afraid this one has been muggled. Found the (nicely greyed out) bottom if the container but top and log are gone.
Who would have thought this was here? It's really quite hidden, but probably effective during the conflict. A great deal of history here, and nice to be here to see it. Thanks for bringing me here today.
Nice quick find in this beautiful place, unfortunately had no pen to sign the log, photo proof of needed. TFTC
We decided to walk around the headland from Malabar to Maroubra today. We had no idea such a walk existed if not for geocaching and it was truly fantastic. It was a beautiful day and the sea breeze made the heat bearable. On approaching GZ, a structure we had not been able to see from a distance, soon revealed itself and we found the cache shortly after. Amazing location. TFTC and for giving us a reason to walk this headland track today.
