###Cache Owner Action Needed###
This cache has been brought to my attention as likely to be missing.
After a string of successful Finds, it has now had a string of DNFs. I agree that this certainly suggests that something has happened at the cache location which requires investigation by the CO.
I am going to Disable it, and I'll check back in 4 weeks to see if either
- the CO has checked or rectified the apparent problem
- the CO has communicated when action will be taken
If the CO has not taken either of these actions, then regrettably the cache will be archived.
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

After rolling out the swag last night in the rain at Thomas River in the Cape Arid NP, I headed on to Esperance quite early, hoping to get up to Norseman and on the Hyden Road by tonight. But as is so often the case, with me at least, I got sidetracked and didnt even make it as far as Norseman! No surprise really, given that I wasn’t even planning to come down this way on this trip.
The weather has been woeful for the last day or so. It bucketed down last night and has rained on and off for most of the day. Great for the farmers, but not quite so great when you are camping. Looks like more rain as I set up camp tonight.
This cache was a DNF for me when I was last here two years ago as the sign (and cache) had gone completely! Today it was a quick drive-by.
Thanks Zane and Bianca for the cache.

As our journey through South Australia and back in to Western Australia continues, towards home.
We had found your cache tucked away nicely in a neat little spot and with signing duties done on this cache on our way over East in March, but forgot to log it.
Putting a smiley here now as we are heading back to the West Coast, catching up on logs.
Thanks for sharing this spot to stop and stretch the legs, at least we didn’t need to wait for the horses to cross the road, southward bound now to continue our journey.

Had a trip out to The historic ghost town of Gwalia planned for some time now and with the wife keen to check out some of the ghost towns and various ruins throughout the goldfields it was sure to be a great trip.
We travelled to Kalgoorlie and then upto Gwalia where we stayed at Hoover House, which is the old mine managers house for the sons of gwalia mine and offered great views of the pit.
We took a day trip out to Laverton and Leinster with a small detour to grab a few caches along the great central road. After our detours from Leonora we dropped back into Kal and down to Esperance for the last night of our trip.
A great trip away and thanks for all the caches along the journey. Thank you to the COs for their caches.

Found it on our way South and the sign is to the South too, the second. No horses and cache was about 18 meters off GZ TFTC
Heading further into WA with ilook4geo and our travels continue along the highway, this was one of the caches on the list that we wanted to look for today. This cache was not too hard to recognise and was quickly retrieved. All was done to keep the paperwork in order and we were soon on the road again. Our thanks go to Zane and Bianca for this addition to the caching game.
We did see a Mare and her Offspring but they galloped away before
we could get a pic. It was on our way along the rail line to find 'Waiting
for a Train'. Never mind, maybe we could trade tags.
This cache eluded us for a while but Mr LS went for a wander and came
back with a find. Good one. Signed and replaced.
Thanks heaps Zane and Bianca...

8042 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 0825. Cool fresh morning and only a few flies at the moment. Had gz for this one on the other side of the road. SL Tnx Zane and Bianca
Found by Mary & David at 0800. An early start from Norseman, heading to Hyden to see Wave Rook. We'd intended to take the more direct route, but we were told at Norseman that that road was closed at present. The burned area just before here is like a brilliant garden of wildflower colour. Alas, no horses though. Our thanks to Zane and Bianca.
We have been travelling since January when we left Geelong and travelled up the centre and up to Darwin
We crossed the border into WA in May and we completed the gibb river road and cape leveque
Since Broome we have zig zagged from coast to inland and have seen and done some amazing things
We are now camped in the area and we will cache and see the sights
TFTC and bringing us to these spots

Found on day 8 of our WA Adventure. After a very relaxing few days in Norseman this was a quick find on our way out to Esperance today TFTC
Travelling Australia since March 2014 now we are making our way west for a visit with family.
Heading towards Esperance, today we moved from near Fraser Range to just past Norseman.

Third day of our 'loop' trip following the wildflowers and grabbing some caches along the way.
Had intended to stay in Esperance a few days but the weather was foul and hail forecast and much the same for the next few days so decided to head for Kalgoorlie. Didn't spot any brumbies but we did come across their droppings - does that count!! Thanks Zane and Bianca

The weather today is just about as miserable as we are. Today marks the end of the Western Australian part of this years journey exploring this great land of ours. We have set of for South Australia and the final chapter of our trip before finally landing back home in Victoria. We have loved everything we have seen and done here in WA, and even though it’s our third trip of over 4 months here, we still saw and visited places we had never been to before. There’s so much to see and do, and so many great experiences we will certainly be back.
We love the fact that we have been able to geocache as we go. It certainly helps break up the drive, especially when that drive covers many, many kilometres. You never get bored when there is the next cache to look forward to!
After reading the previous logs we each took one side of the road to look. Mrs Ski took the GPS as the coords indicated her side, but Mr Ski found it opposite her in a wry logical spot. Coords about 15 m out!

Our coordinates had us on the wrong side of the road here but the cache was quickly found in the obvious place.
We found fresh horse droppings at the last cache!!!! So I guess the herd wasn't too far away.
Thanks.

Another cache well done. TFTC. We will need to check the dash cam. Horses about 8k south.
Easy find and we did see some horses as we drove along but too hard to take a photo. First time we have seen a roadsigns for horses in WA. Have seen them in Qld near Rainbow Beach but didn't see any horses there.
Cache replaced due to warning sign being removed.
Coords updated to S32 35.981 E121 34.248

Just an update for everyone, I have been seriously injured and will be unable to revive this cache for possibly another few months. I doubt very much somone would like to place one here but should you wish to let me know and I will archive it. Otherwise it will be replaced once I have recovered.
Cheers

Temporarily disabling this cache as the sign that the cache was on has been removed. To be relocated or replaced as soon as main roads do their maintenance
Zane and Bianca thank yoy for putting these caches out vetween Norseman and Esperance. We enjoyed them but failed to find this one. On doing you orher ones we think we were focussed on looking for the wrong size. Too far to go back to relook. But many thanks for the collection
**Didn't find it...**
Too good for me today...
Either my caching eyes weren't working or this one need checking...
Thanks anyway Zane and Bianca...

I stopped to grab this one as I travelled north from Esperance. Parked at GZ, but no sign (on this side of the road). A closer look revealed the base of the sign post which had been snapped off, but no other trace of the sign! I searched around (including on and around the sign on the other side of the road) for the cache without luck. Seems it may have gone.
Nonetheless, I couldn't resist including a photo with my log that I took nearby and thought was appropriate under the circumstances - the brumbies were a bit like the cache; none here today, but you could see where they'd been!

Great cache. We are on our way to Kal today and it was a nice reason to stop. TFTC Zane and Bianca
Nice quick park and grab on the way through.
Day 5 of my Adelaide to Perth drive after heading to the Red Centre Experience in Alice Springs. I stayed overnight with family in Kalgoorlie and hung around town for a few hours this morning to pick up a few caches that have so far eluded me in the area before heading for Esperance this arvo.

The search for this cache took an unlucky turn this morning when KG and I pulled up to GZ, opened the car door and heard a loud hissing noise... turns out some broken glass near GZ punctured one of our brand new tyres! So while KG performed a swift tyre change, geo-dog and I signed the log, moved the glass off the shoulder, then walked around in search of the elusive brumbies with camera at the ready. Alas, earwax. TFTC Zane and Bianca. Found with krefton_gums.
