Yesterday I had Fremantle octopus for dinner. Today different kind of octopus . TFTH
TFTC! Been here many times before and it took geocaching to realise that there was an occy on land.
Found with TeamBarritts and Arnott family during a caching day in town. Tftc! . Photo sent with TeamBarritts.
Out with arnott.family and BJA3 for a planned day around Perth. Cache found without too much trouble and in good order. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us and others to enjoy finding.
I have had WAGB, and caching in WA, on my todo list for some time. I contemplated booking in earlier in the year but couldnt commit. Two weeks ago I decided I might just be able to make it work. So a mad scramble began. Last minute flights, accommodation and cache plans - tick, tick, tick! Fast forward a couple of crazy weeks and Ive finally landed. Today I finally get to add the last Australian souvenir to my collection, WA! Having got up at 4am to catch a flight (2am WA time) it was a very long day, but super rewarding and superb weather. This is one of the first WA caches added to my find list. This is a great place for the kids, and as required, Inlpcated the octopus!A big thanks goes to Team Gunn Parker for taking the time to add Boat yard bliss to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! The fun just never stops.Have you logged your will attend for Victoria's first ever Block Party? (Think Mega but even more special!)Join us on 22-23 March 2025 in Sunbury to celebrate 25 years of geocaching by logging your will attend at [**GCAP417**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).
on our way to point Walter on our bikes after taking the train to canning bridge. great place to stop
A great virtual here, nice oldie In Perth for work today I headed over to Optus stadium for a walk around and to find a few caches before walking back to the city. 15 finds for the day dodging the rain as it fell. Thanks for the cache
Our bike ride from Matilda Bay was coming to an end. The afternoon was getting on, we were in a 3 hour park and we had to ride back. But just a couple more caches... It didn't take long to find the octopus even though there's a lot going on at this fun playground. And most playgrounds don't have these sensational views either. TFT old V Team Gunn Parker.
Today Taurus six and I started the day up in Perth after a lovely evening at the theatre last night. We needed to get back to Bunbury at a reasonable hour today but in the meantime our plan was to weave through the suburbs geocaching. Our main focus was to clear up more Adventure Lab elements but whenever traditional caches or other caches were near by we collected them as well. For late May the weather is still beautiful and almost too warm which is concerning. We ended up visiting some lovely areas mainly south of the river and the highlight was our visit to Wireless Hill which neither of us had visited before and wow what a fabulous place it is, we really enjoyed exploring around here. Air in all a great day geocaching .This is our third cache find of the day along with many near by Adventure Labs. After walking along the foreshore we made the ascent to the playground. Great views from here . It was absolutely packed today with families. Wonderful piece of art work and easily spotted. Thanks for the virtual cache Team Gunn Parker .
What a beautiful location at GZ with great view below and wonderful play equipment for children. We are visiting Perth for a few days and Cumming to find this old virtual in such a beautiful location is a definite highlight. We found the octopus and various other marine life. Absolutely beautiful. Thanks Team Gunn ParkerDomsky
Hi Team Gunn Parker, We found your 1.0 1.0 Virtual Virtual Boat yard bliss on 25/3/2024.Find 2916 for BFMC.In the cover of darkness I was able to do a couple of loops around here virtually unnoticed and eventually found the sneaky so and soA few days in Perth, first visit here since 2007. Caching with gcrew3220, grabbing what smilies are possible between work committment s. Thank to all the COs whose caches we found.
Found the octopus and plenty of starfish (Im assuming they are the correct ones?). Such a lovely park, our toddler really enjoyed her time here, as did we. Shall be back another day to make better use of the place. Thanks for bringing us to this location, wouldnt have known about it otherwise
It's great to be able to find this 2002 original Virtual cache! I love oldies so this was a great cache to visit. I found the octopus! It took me a lap, though, but I guess I just needed the right angle! Ha ha! Thanks for the fun, photo sent!
Visitat! Visited!A great walk along the coast of south of Perth and discovering new places of the city. Of course, was a mandatory choice go there because some amazing caches are on this way.Found It following the instructions. Was a great idea and good views.Grcies! Gracias! Thanks!
I found this one on Thursday 19 Oct 2023 at 12:23 pm and the weather is Clear Sky 25C 43% 4 m/s . I always feel exceptionally dodgy as an old guy hunting around a playground. But i found the ocy and retreated to a safe distance for a photo. This is find number 3,009 for me. A nice virtual virtual cache I enjoyed finding as part of my adventuring in City Of Melville. Unless otherwise mentioned above, I found the coordinates to be accurate, the cache in good condition and the log dry and with plenty of room to sign. Thanks for placing this cache and for the fun of finding it Team Gunn Parker.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*

I'm really enjoying my first visit caching in WA, and after attending WAGB, I have another week of exploring to do with geo friends.
We were along the foreshore and so pleased we stopped by here. Spotted the octopus straight away on arrival at the GZ location, such a lovely area for the little ones to play
Thank you, Team Gunn Parker, for placing this virtual cache

Searching for virtuals and ECs around Perth and your virtual was chosen as it is right on Swan River.
Thanks for showing us around your city.

Located the creatures and recalled memories of mornings spent at this playground with friends. Thanks!
Out for a day in the city. A nice tour around on foot and bike. Covered 45km under my own steam, finding about a dozen caches and a lot of Adventure Lab waypoints.
Had to get help from a three year old for this one. [B)] His mum was curious what I was looking for - very badly. She said to the little lad where is the octopus and the he pointed straight to it. Not at all what I was looking for.
Pic email to CO. Thanks for the adventure - awesome play area.

Visiting from Wisconsin, USA. I appreciate virtual geocaches as they are generally straightforward and take me to interesting places. This one took me to a fun place that lots of other people were enjoying on this beautiful, cloudless Saturday. It did take me a few minutes to locate the octopus, but I was able to capture the moment and send it to the CO. Thanks for adding to my enjoyment of a great geocaching day.
I have very fond memories here. My favourite playground when I was a kid. I never noticed Mr. Octopus was here until today! Must be too focus on the pirate ship.
Heading out for lots of finds and an event this evening.
Signing as team MICKS. (Meme28, I C Nothing ,Cirrus_wa, Kapelula and Sir Fancy)
Cache in good condition.
This is my 3980 find.

Catching up on some late logs. Staying close by here and having a bit of spare time we thought we would wander around this lovely foreshore area. Lots of caches to be found, and they seemed to be a bit different with added challenges, which we really enjoyed. Up the steps we went, and soon located that elusive octopus. The park was quiet, with few people around.
It was nice to locate an old virtual. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Can’t believe I almost forget to log this cache
While in Perth I wandered around this area doing some caching. Some I could find others well they were too smart for me
After finding a nearby cache I walked up to this one. There was a Spider-Man doing balloon art duties at a birthday party in the gardens and many other children running this way and that, but I managed to grab a photo of the item and send to owner
Tftc. Very interesting and popular park.

I have had a watch on this for years after it was mentioned in a forum. Finally in Perth I had to visit. It was nothing like I imagined but saw the octopus and took the obligatory selfie.
What a cool old virtual!! We soon spied the octopus and went over to check out the view. tftc
Th octopus was surprisingly busy at this late time of day! Found with barefootguru. TFTC Team Gunn Parker
Octopus was a quick find, then we stopped to admire the view. Thanks for the old virtual TGP
As I drove here I saw waves spraying the other road lane. I wandered about a bit before spotting the octopus. I had been looking at this all wrong. Answer sent. TFTC Team Gunn Parker.

Final day in Perth before flying home to Brisbane. While hunting challenge caches I came by this virtual while I was in the area.
Busy here today with lots of kids and parents/grandparents having picnics and enjoying the playground. Found the octopus quickly. Beautiful view over the bay.
Found on 8 July 2022. TFTC, Team Gunn Parker.

Alyce and I had this cache on our must grab list since it’s an oldie and we love chasing the old caches, plus it’s a Virtual and we’ll never pass up on one of those.
We arrived at the parking spot and started looking for the octopus. We weren’t too sure where to look so we wandered over towards the playground, hmmm, nothing there, and that’s when I spotted it up a little higher then we expected, how cool is that.
Once found we decided to walk over to enjoy the view.
Thanks for bringing us here. Now we’re off to Fremantle to grab a few more target caches.

A hot day and no-one else playing except me looking for an octopus. I was happy spotting it, tftc!
Super cool octopus here! And the starfish are quite the special feature.
We came a few years ago to check out the markets here but my boy was too little for playground fun. When a friend suggested coming here today I was keen.
I knew there would be some caches here to find but dragging the Turdler away from the pirate ship playground is proving a difficult ask.
I love a good virtual

This is an odd cache i must say but love old caches and also virtual's so this was a great one, it took me a moment to find the needed item and the i spotted the bonus, thanks for this.
Myself and Goose had many plans for the tickets we used for this trip, i cant remember the details but I think it was three canceled Mega's and after the last cancellation we only had so long to use up the tickets and with a little bit of cash added we worked out we could have to a trip to Perth to hunt for some fine looking caches.
A 'shortlist' of 587 caches was put together for the trip albeit with the PQs of the whole state as a backup just in case we wanted to forgo sleep, in the end we found 120ish caches in 4 and a bit days, 60 of which were in the 4WD FOTT Go Bush series.
While we were over we got a chance to go to a GIFF Event and briefly meet a few of you locals, thanks for the chat.
Thanks for the cache.

This cache may have been very easy to find but took us to a great spot with spectacular views we probably wouldn’t have found otherwise. TFTC!
6 months(ish) since we left home and stated our ‘lap year’ half way in our original time allocation and not even close to half way around the country…hmm I guess we won’t be ‘home’ for Christmas….oh well… (shhh don’t tell the grandparents)
Perhaps if/we I stopped looking at so many rocks trees and beaches we wouldn’t be taking so long…then there are the flowers, old things and street art that keeps catching our attention.. maybe it’s the Geocaches… what ever it is, we are having a bloody brilliant time and I wouldn’t change a thing!
This week it’s Perth turn, mainly targeting Virtual and Earth caches while sight seeing and attending to some business, what a beautiful city!
Thanks for being one of the awesome caches we found this week.

Travelling with Cachopus, who wasted no time spotting one of “his people”. Thanks for a fun virtual.
Having moved to the local area in the last week or so we were out this Easter Saturday exploring a little, and came upon this great little piece of public land... Taking a walk around the Kraken was easily spotted, likely about to devour the hoards of children and families around it. Noting there is more to this place than meets the eye, I shall return, though probably not on a weekend, and possibly on a Thursday. Thanks for the virtual find here Team Gunn Parker
Found the octopus easily and stood looking for the starfish. Didn't realise i could walk around to find it/them. Lol. TFTVC
That is one very cool octopus. Thank you for giving us a reason to notice him instead of walking straight past. Such a nice morning to be here
