We enjoyed a pleasant walk on this lovely trail. It was windy this morning and the lake was choppy but the track was sheltered and there wasnt a cloud in the sky. This was a very clever hide. We didnt spot it at first and even when we did we werent immediately sure it was the cache. It blends in so well. A favourite point from us. TFTC.
Made our way to GZ under the cover of darkness, wallabies were everywhere! After fighting them off started having a rummage around for the cache.. the debris around from the trees had this one well hidden. Log was wet, have dried it out as best we could and attempted an autograph. Awesome hide TFTC!
Took a bit of looking but then MrB had it in hand. Log very wet so marked with BF. TFTC
Thanks for your amazing cache Davidson Clan. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Cheers, Cympull.
Out this way with eyespyben so decided to do the walk around the trackVery hot and very busy track
Sadly couldn't locate this one we had looked under almost every single tree and went through all of the laves yet still couldn't find it
Enjoying the walk even though it was trying to rain. Shelter here with the trees but the phone bounced around a bit. Eventually I found it. thank you for the placement.
Had to stop and have a think for a moment. Heavy leafy cover made the search a bit challenging, but once I thought a bit the cache was soon in hand. Well worth a favourite
Loving the walk along here, even despite the drizzle. Didn’t take long to find cache. Log a little wet. Worth a favourite point. Tftc
Enjoying the walk even if the weather isn't co-operating. Quick find thanks to a great hint.
I was quite pleased at how quickly I found this one since I'd had no luck at the previous one.
Thanks for setting this up

Camped at the DOC campground. Really nice place. Always good for a swim but also did this walkway nearby. Tftc!
We walked the Lake Okareka Walk in the evening. Found the three Geocaches on our Tour.
There wasen't a Logbook in the Container so we put a new one (the Te Puia visitor bracelet) into the box.

Lovely walk on New Year’s Day. Quick find of the excellently camouflaged cache. Log sheets were a little damp. TFTC
Down in Rotorua for the weekend with AliGle, staying with her family. Our second visit to this walk and a few more caches to find this time, we also bumped into NZFlossy who was caching in the area too, so we found a few caches with her. A quick find here, TFTC!

Anice spot of camo on this one, with the detailed description hint it was a quick find, now a short jog to the next one while Mrs Geckoh is tackling the DOC one at the other end of the trail.

A day off work and a walk between rain to find a couple of FTFs and have come across this pretty easy find.
A beautiful area to explore but DO NOT take your dogs.

I'm loving this lake, never seen or heard of it before. It's quite a hidden little gem. The pathway is also very pleasant. We managed to find this one, but not the other two in close proximity. TFTC
Couldnt find the first one so walked on to this one and managed to find it. What a wonderful lake
Finally! First find of the day after striking out twice. Quickly spotted this one on my walk around the lake. Will attempt the one that I passed on the way when I head back. Tftc
Supporting a friend who was competing in the 102km Tarawera Ultra event and while waiting took a walk. Nice camo, favourite added. TFTC
This was my last full day in Rotorua after caching with friends yesterday. I concentrated on a few that required some hiking which was out of the question with one of the friends.
This walkway was surprisingly busy, so timing was everything. TFTC.

Nice camo on this one too, I was hoping it would be the cache and much to my delight it was
Another dawn trip on the lake - this time around to the north. Unlike the last couple of days, it wasn't raining today - just very, very cold - an air temperature of about 0 degrees (according to MetService); it had rained overnight so it wasn't just frosty but very icy and slippery.
This had me fooled at first - all the leaf litter had been cleared away from around the nearby trees; it looked like a previous searcher had had a thorough look and left nothing behind. But then I took another look and there it was. TFTC!

In Rotorua for the weekend with friends and found this cache along the walkway, had been tipped out, but found the hide and replaced it. Thanks
Away with friends for the weekend and we had a geocaching blitz today. The log was separated from the container here and we managed to find the container and popped it back under camouflage. TFTC
Disabling while we are in lockdown any finds will be deleted. Stay home and keep your family and community safe.
Today having some downtime on the shores of Lake Okareka but still collected a few smileys. Enjoyed the walkway and great swimming in the lake. Some difficulty extracting the log but other all fine. Thanks
Our second success of the day as we explore this walkway Mr and Little One made to GZ and within short time had the cache in hand, love the camo.
Found while on Holiday at the Okareka DOC campground. What a beautiful area. Great hides, although my daughter was sad there was no place for toys!
Another nice and quick find. It was here that i realised that i may have misplaced my mobile phone...! A quick sign of the log and a jog back along the track to the previous cache. Cut a long story short - after looking everywhere... luckily for me the phone was locked in the car.
Nice camo and all good here, TFTC!

Nearly gave up but read earlier logs. Very very tricky camouflage. No TOTT so couldn’t write my name so photo proof!
Precise coordinates lead to the hideout. But due to there is another possible hiding object search was not intense enough. After searching other possiblities went back to first one, searched a bit better and - hit. Logbook is wet, logging with a little wipe was possible. TFTC
A new string of Geocaches spurred this visit so it's time for a tiki-tour. I contacted my mid week caching partner Mc Jandals and proposed a nice little clean up of the area. We had quite the adventure caching from dawn and finding some really beautiful spots. I managed to walk away with 28 caches and my highlights were the views out towards Mt Tarawera and of course... the company
A nice wander along side Lake Okareka - a side I'd not ventured before. The cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placement. Nice work on the camo, a side of you rarely seen - cheers DC, TFTC

On a trip with Philip after seeing these new caches out. A spur of the moment plan was hatched and here we are. II am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing us back here. Cheers DC. A nice walk around here.
What a picturesque walkway along here. There is excellent use of camo for this cache. Thanks for the placement Davidson Clan
What awesome walk today...lake like glass ..soon found this crafty placement ...thanks DClan well done
Took me a while to find this one. Lol. Was about to give up when i spotted the object looking me straight in the face. Howed i miss it. I have no clue. Signed rehidden onto the nxt.
Great day for a walk on a lovely track, had to come back to get this one when my battery died a few weeks back, thanks to CO for maintaining this one
In Rotorua for Easter with Jag50 with the aim to put a smiley face on as many caches as we can. Lol, I must be getting tired, I picked this up looked under and went nope, lucky Mrs Jag had a look too
In Rotorua with Merlot58 for Easter. Merlot had the cache in hand but could not see the log as it was very well camouflaged. A second look and the sneaky hide was found.
I needed a little stroll, LOL after doing ParkRun, the The Legend if the Lake Swim, The Amphibian and a MTB ride. So scribbled down a few coords and grabbed a few caches before settling in for the night at Boyes Beach. TFTC & incentive to keep moving!

Nice easy find with CreasyBear. Log is a little wet, had to tap it to get it out. TFTC!
tricky to retrieve, but got there in the end with the help of a few twigs. Enjoying the walk with the crew on a gusty Sunday. Quiet walkway today.
was waiting for this track to be completed to place some caches but you beat me to it. found on a rainy day. lots of tuis out. tftc
Nice easy find for dad even though he hardly gets a chance to find them thanks for the great hunt
Another nice little hide in keeping with the other two on this track. TFTC #cachelife
Found this cache first as there were a lot of muggles around the earlier cache. Couldn't see this at first but had a little faith in the GPS and soon had the cache.
Love cleverly hidden caches and this one was great. Met a few muggles in the area so that slowed things down a bit but once they were gone we were good to go and spotted it fairly quickly. TFTC
Tftc. After finding the previous one as a family hunt, junior led the way to this. 'Slow down' I said...'we are getting close'...'found it' he said before I even caught up. Great views of the big jumping rock from near here... you can see the cave you swim through to get back up.
Logbook wet.

Home for Christmas. But I wake up at 5am and the rest of the family... doesn't so I grab some Scooby Snacks and head up the lake. But which lake? There's about 12 around here! I was at Blue Lake yesterday, I may as well go back. So here I am. Okay, not Blue Lake.
Enjoying the early morning walk here! Still no one up at eiother campsite (yes, there were people camping at Boyes).
