Tiny, kids first nano, so happy we found it, easy if you know what you're for, there is a picture of it in the photos
Surprised my muggle friend with this one She was so puzzled that I could be looking for something that I didnt know what I was looking for TFTC and the history
Found on this beautiful day we searched around and it wasn't long before we spotted something Clever hideThank you for the cache and bringing us here
Stopped for a coffee break and a cache. Quick find and a lot easier than it could have been
We were travelling down from Christchurch to Lake Tepako and managed to park next to the wagon for a park and grab. Great place to hide a cache. Greetings from England. TFTC
Another month, another challenge. I'm keen to see how many days I can manage to get out and find caches this month. This is Day 7. A lovely winter's morning for a drive in the countryside. The further I went into the countryside, the warmer it seemed to get which was very surprising. This was the first cache I found today. TFTC, Biggles.
Continuing our caching for a second day we set off in mild temperatures and bright sunshine.
This was found after quite a search. This container is a nano, not a micro as stated on the cache page which led us to looking for something different.
Thank you for the cache.

We're cleaning up some strays after previous expeditions and finding newer placements. The weather is superb and we're having a ball. When found the cache proved to be a nano. Knowing that before the search makes all the difference. Thank you for the cache.
Heading home after a family weekend in Geraldine. Nice to be able to turn the blue face to yellow. All good here. TFTC
Somehow I was not expecting this container here. Silly me. Anyways, had no trouble in finding this one. Cache is all good here. TFTC.
On our way back to Christchurch from Lake Coleridge, we had to stop for this one too. Found reasonably quickly after waiting for a car or two to pass by. All good here. TFTC ____tarsh
Passing through while exploring on our honeymoon. A bit of a hunt, clever hide. TFTC
After finding the cache at the other end we took advantage of a break in the weather and walked along to this cache which was found much faster than the other. TFTC
Oh cool another mechanism hunt. But The Seagnoid is checking out the tree first with bloody results. Now to track down this cache and leave our calliing card. Cheers
Day 4 - Thursday 23 December - Ashburton to Amberly taking the inland route to Lake Coleridge. So lets go exploring. Bummer with Toby getting a flat battery today.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are of on another Geo adventure this time to Mt Cook for 5 days. Met up with Bullertrout and Bro on the way down. Lake Pukaki was fine but Mt Cook was wet and wild with the Hooker Valley being closed due to high winds, so did not stay long. We went exploring Tekapo, Timaru and a round trip to Lake Coleridge. Short trip and very tiring but awesome.

Depite doing GlenTunnel 2 a moment ago, I ignored the obvious and headed where the GPS suggested - the tree. While walking around checking out the root struckture I smacked my head on a branch. Not particularly hard, I wasn't dazed or anything, it's just that it hit exactly the same spot I have hit two or three times already this trip (mostly cupboard doors and the like). So... blood. Hurt, too. Went over to the coal cart and we found the cache soon afterward.
So if you have trouble finding the cache, try smacking your head on the branch first. Seems to work!
Part of a big trip with Taybeedragon to explore Mt Cook. We explored a little of it but there was gale winds, lots of cloud and rain. Some of the tracks had been closed and others were right dodgy given that we did not have our foul weather tramping kit. We had booked to stay for two nights but left the same day. More time to explore parts of Canterbury! So now I have been to Mt Cook . Still yet to see Aorangi.

Finally found it. This one has been eluding me for way too long but today was the day! Yay! Thanks
Found! Didn’t sign logbook as fat fingers struggle to roll it back up Awesome find. TFTC
On a trip with Ruru_NZ to gather the tour caches needed or in my case not done yet. Should be able to knock off two of them on this trip.
Log book replaced as I remembered to pack spares for this trip. Made the youngster retrieve

Day 1 - Labour weekend extended road trip with Kiwicampnut - relocated to stay south of the ditch.
Having read previous logs, kcn was prepared, so once the container was located the logstrip was replaced. Have left old one tucked being the container.
Lunch at the new cafe nearby. Looks tasty.
Thanks for the cache ____tarsh

Today we'd planned a trip to walk up Peak Hill for lunch (and *I'd* planned a spot of caching so had a list saved offline). Unfortunately the first turnoff we knew would get us to Algidus Rd was closed, presumably as a result of the recent flooding. No worries, I thought, according to the DoC website, and C:geo, you can get there by going through Lake Coleridge Village and up Coleridge Intake Rd. Nope. Gates shut, chained, and padlocked.
Plan B involved a much gentler day collecting the four caches I hadn't done in Lake Coleridge Village, a tiki-tour in the car, and a coffee & two more caches in Coalgate. Still a pleasant day out with my lovely wife, just less strenuous than we planned.
I wasn't going to stop for any more caches but then I saw a certain structure and thought it'd be rude not to .
I left the phone in the car (I knew exactly what I was after), grabbed a pen and little TOTT, and crossed the road. Tried the same spot as up the road, but that would have been too obvious. A lot of hunting later I put my hand on it. No way was I going to see that first!
As with the other down the road the log is very full. I managed an "R3" (no date) along the edge but other than writing over old signatures there are really no gaps. As I said in my earlier log I didn't have any spare log papers that size, sadly.

Thanks for the cache tarsh. Had tried to find this a long time ago so really pleased to add a smile . Enlisted the help of grand daughter and muggle Kev. Of course Mr Muggle spotted it quickly. And number two.
Off to terrace downs for a birthday celebration for a friend, this was not a quick easy find. I had been here earlier in the week for emergency works but it was a bit wet, managed to find some room to make my mark but could do with a new log. Thanks for the effort that goes into placing and maintaining a cache.
After getting the same sort at one end of town, this one was a piece of cake. Needs new log paper.
Easy enough when you know what to look for. It's the same tiny cache as the other one in Coalgate
Compared to #2 this one was an easy grab after a stop for brunch at the nearby cafe.
Have the week off and decided I would wait and see where there would be good weather and head off on a mini caching roadtrip... the FB post of a new Geotour coming out is very exciting and maybe that will help me decide where to go next.
***[======== NZ Mega 2020 ========](http://nzmega.com)***
[NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) is definitely happening, but has been postponed until 2021. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 22 to 25 October 2021. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20+ years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20+ years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* All the 20s and now 21 as well!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!

Staying for a few days at Whitecliffs and able to pick off a cache or two. Thanks, ___tarsh, for placing your cache. All good and safe.
On our way to Oxford on business, so decided to make it a leisurely drive and get some caches along the way. Having done the one down the road this was a bit faster to track down. TFTC.
Came out to explore the area. We spent a bit of time looking here and then spotted the huge not cache container. What a cutie happy to remove log and sign, all good and dry. Thanks for bringing us here and the cache ___tarsh.
Sadly this was our last day of a two week motorhome excursion, heading via the Coast to the lower South Island, then back up to Christchurch, picking up a few caches along the way – 9 today. Meandering from Geraldine to Christchurch today. Took a little while to spot this one, a fraction easier (possibly) than its mate along the road! #3430. TFTC.
A surprisingly fast find for this type of hide. Caching sense told us where to look as for us the cache was 20 metres north of the coordinates. Our coordinates were S43 28.846 E171 56.514. TFTC
After finding #2 this was easier. Location on satellite image not quite accurate.
Quick look. Working in area so no time for a long look. will be back fr another look another day.
Found in the second spot I checked - very happy with that. Signed my log in the space already occupied by docndi. TFTC # 13,882
We spent ages looking for this. We even went and did #2 cache and then came back, but still couldnt spot it. Will try again another time.
Wow! Second attempt. Was just as difficult to get in to as finding it! Not much room left on log. Now off to try #2 again. TFTC!
A lovely area for a cache or two lovely cache home cache all good but log is full tftc
This took a little longer than it should have to find, but got it. A very interesting 'sculpture' to welcome us to Glentunnel.
