Solved this one e a little while ago, today was the day to come find it. A quick find once through the cobwebs.
After doing an AL at Springwood, I decided to grab a few normal caches in the area on my way to another at Mt Riverview. I followed vk2df's parking instructions and had no problems making my way to GZ. What should have been a quick find, however, wasn't ... but eventually spotted what I should seen on approach.
Thanks to Toriaz and monkey girl for placing this cache.

A quick internet search had this cache figures out pretty quickly. I'd never heard of this particular code/cipher/device before so thanks for the lesson The cache was a different matter. How on earth does one get in to that particular spot? After much speculation we decides to try a certain plan of attack and parked the car accordingly. Once we got out it was clear that this was going to work. A few spiders webs in the face (yuck!), but we soon got to GZ and the cache was seen on approach. Thanks for introducing us to this little spot and thanks for the cache.
We are on another short (four day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for three nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Planning to collect some of the solved GFA puzzle caches around Luddenham and Wallacia, then visiting the Blue Mountains from Springwood to Wentworth Falls (over two days) for numerous Adventure Labs and other targeted caches.
Today (day 3) we completed two Adventure Labs that had their various stages scattered around Springwood and Winmalee, and also collected numerous caches of various types (Traditional, Multi, Mystery/Puzzle, and Virtual) that we passed along the way. Also visited an old "2 Dogs" Traditional cache from 2001 that we needed for an "old school" challenge cache. This was our 36th find of the day (day 3), and 82nd find of the holiday.
The family's chief puzzle solver had solved this one before we left home, and it was to be our last cache stop for the day, on our way back down to Emu Plains. Parked on the side of the road, just short of the cache location, then walked the short distance down the track to GZ for a nice quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Thanks Toriaz & Monkey Girl for the puzzle & cache.

Find #5351
#8798 (11 of 11 today - including 1 Adventure Lab)
I am terribly behind in my logging. It's getting close to two months since I regularly reported on the caches I've found. YIKES!
In this time only the Adventure Labs found and my First2Finds have been written up - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
But I've been busy finally getting ready to move into our new house - now in and I'm still coming to terms with the extra room/rooms!
But I did still try to find time to cache on the days that my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day demanded I find something. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Anyway. thanks to all the CO's who are getting short shrift from my generic logs. I hope to eventually get back to them and flesh them out, but no promises.
I've found some fun Traditionals and solved some interesting, but not impossible puzzles. And Multis and other cache types have been grabbed where possible.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Anything interesting from my day will be added here - don't hold your breath.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
I've had the solution to this one for a while - time to go for it.
So much tall grass between my parking spit and GZ. Kept using a real stick to ward off any lingering wriggly ones - none seen thankfully.
Quick find at GZ.

This guy has been sitting in my solved file for a very long time and as I had parked close to the starting track to this cache I just had to wander down and have a look.
The cache was soon located and with the log signed, it was time to let the many spiders rebuild their webs and try to catch their next meal.
Thanks Toriaz & Monkey Girl for placing this cache.
The aging Bushfire has lost a pair of optical sunnies somewhere today so I guess it means a trip back and try to find.

Quick find with Deep_99 to keep the streak going. SL #4772 on streak day #3104 TFTC
After the community event is was time to grab a few more caches in the area so headed over. No real problem with the puzzle and on reading so recently logs was glad to hear of a parking spot nearby as heading west a quick look did not look too promising. Well it was there a little before the cache and a walk through the long grass to GZ for a quick find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Kooleen worked out the clues. Co ordinates were spot on. We did need to head from one side to the other of the railway. TFTC
When I first solved this puzzle I was thinking hmm maybe I have the wrong spot. Luckily there was a nice stopping area eastbound before gz with no signs around telling me not to park there and as it turns out the coordinates were extremely accurate. Cool little spot. TFTC
there was too much leaf litter to have a good look and also a few spiders that scared me off
A straight forward puzzle although I had come across this before. Headed up here on a Grumpy mission, with not so grumpy mate and this was conveniently available on the way back.
Made a quick find in the logical spot.

I came up The Mountains by train (and lots of walking) today for some caching, two stops, Blaxland and Glenbrook.
Very successful as all 6 target caches were found plus this one!
While planning the caching day I noticed this puzzle not too far away.
I knew there was another way but how does it work?
A previous finder told me what to google and from there it was a successful solve of the puzzle. Checking the location on google maps and it looked too far away from the other caches I was hunting with the trains only running once an hour.
I'd found all the others in Blaxland and had 45 minutes to wait for the next train so decided I had enough time to walk to this GZ and back. I probably didn't walk the best way, along the highway but it worked out alright.
At GZ there were a few things that matched the hint but the co-ords were very good and I found the cache quickly.
Returned to the station a slightly different but equally unusual but suitable way.
Made the train with 8 minutes to spare! (Time to eat lunch.)
I learnt something doing this puzzle.

Up at frazey's Blackheath retreat for the weekend and as it may be sometime before we get back up there she thought that we should finalize a few of the puzzles that she had recently solved. She prepared a list that included four puzzles, a trad and a new virtual all owned by the local luminaries. So on a cracker of a winters day in the Bluies we set off down the mountains for home and visit some caches along the way.
Thankfully we had a quick find here after having spent a long while at our previous cache also owned by this CO, well one of the CO's. TFTC Toriaz & Monkey Girl.

I’ve had this cache on my to do list for some time as I had figured the coordinates last year, so today with some prompting frommy son, I picked it up. Actually I needed a cache today to fill a blank in my calendar and went to Wascoe Siding but when I went to log it I had found it in 2013. Hmm memory fading I think. Anyway thanks for this cache and cache is in good condition.
This has been waiting to be picked up for sometime now. Since we're in the area we came with Chalk! Geo grandkids here. Made a quick find. TFTC
We are been looked after by our Geo Nana and poppy, we think it’s great cause we get to go caching with them. We did a swag of caches today. This was one of them. Thank you all the COs for their hides.
Solved some time back. Good day to find while visiting the in-laws. Thanks for the interesting puzzle!
Found. Solved a while ago and have been driving past this location almost every week day. Finally stopped and made the find.Tftc

The puzzle was solved nearly a year ago and has been sitting in my todo list ever since then waiting for an opportunity when I was next in the area. Having spent a great weekend camping with team canary & co to celebrate his 9000th find at "In the loop", I still needed a find for the day. I was under a bit of time pressure to get home and was hoping this one wouldn't prove too challenging to find. Picked a great location to park and after a short stroll, had my name in the log.

A curious cache which had us solve a two-handed puzzle, scout around for a way into GZ and wonder how the heck T&MG had any idea this small feature was here. Thanks for the brain exercise, the driving tour of the neighbourhood and the unexpected location. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Found this one today on a mountain tour to gather terrain/ difficulty, hidden date and name sake caches. This one i had solved ages ago and was a park and grab today whilst finding my targets. Thanks Toriaz & Monkey Girl for the puzzle and placement. I nearly DNF this one after find what i thought was the remains of a cache container nearby to the GZ. A check of the hint had me fortunately redirected to an easy find. Cheers
Solving puzzle was easier than working out the closest place to park safely to access GZ. It paid off doing a bit of extra research before leaving home and then confirming landmarks as I headed up the mountain, making the quick park and grab on the way down.
We had solved this one a little while ago which wasn't difficult once you had cracked the code. A quick find at GZ enabled us to get a souvenir for International Geocaching Day.TFTC.
Worked this out quite quickly which was pleasing. A quick stop heading down the Mountain and soon had cache in hand. TFTC !

Quickly solved. Parked in side street and walked across road. Signed and replaced. Thanks for the puzzle and cache.

A hint from the CO gave me enough to find the code to crack this one. Google. Now! getting to it was the fun part. There's no need to traipse through the long stuff and no need to endanger yourself on the side of the highway...but you'll be close to trucks whooshing by. While finding the right tool for the code, I came across the Dancing Men...so there's another one solved! TFTC
I had solved this one a few weeks ago and as a calendar day fill was needed decided to do it today early. Just as well it was daylight, and i could see the huge pothole near where i parked, that would have swallowed my little car! A short walk to GZ and a quick find. Signed log and returned as found. #530, Not very good at these type of puzzle caches, however searched a group of words to find several similar caches around the world , however as this is a puzzle very few hints were given by finders, after all there is no fun if the answer is known. Off and on searched for info but could only find a "tennis stroke" had to be used, whatever that meant and check the toolbox? never used that before, checked about a dozen in the toolbox not knowing how some of them worked, one group led to another 60 or so, no success there. Finally decided to go over all the cache info again and googled something that worked- and had an answer- and I recalled seeing the same thing earlier in toolbox.
Tentatively put the first word in which worked out and then the rest for a solution
Travelled North for this one on an afternoon of geocaching. Parked in side street then a quick dash and a short walk for a nice find. Favorite point as had to work the brain cells,
then off to Maccas for a late lunch, and on to more geocaches TFTC Toriaz & Monkey Girl

#4158-Joint FTF with Garks @ 3.15 pm.
A quiet holiday at home with Garks, doing housework. Bikerbuddy and nickoheap had headed into Penrith for some retail therapy. I saw this cache get published, so I heard inside to the computer to see if I could work it out. Explored a few ideas with no luck, then tried something else, and it worked.
Earlier today I had been reading up on diving mystery's, since that is one area I am sadly lacking in.
Without a car, as it was in Penrith I had to wait till the guys returned. Then it was off for Garks and I.
Being the last day of the Easter break, the traffic was starting to build. I knew the general area well from a previous cache a bit further in the same park, but it didn't know this feature was here.
Garks walked straight to it and pulled it out- he's still got it, though I know he won't log it.
Thanks Toriaz and the Monkey girl- this gave me a break from the routine of the day.
