Logs
Stopped by with MrMagoo72 after hunting down some Christmas cake at a nearby bakery (there's a dearth of them in supermarkets). Took a few minutes to find the nicely hidden cache container - the hint in the CO's maintenance log helped. Then signed the log and returned it as found. TFTC.
Looked with Sliver_Penny - just not our day today. Pretty sure it should have been where we were looking - is it gone?
Knowing that the CO is currently away. I stopped by this one to replace the logbook with a slip of write in the rain paper to keep it going until they return.
Quick find today Shann scoped this one aswell found with Shannyn dontae skyla and Luke brownienz
I've been past here multiple times and never stopped. I thought it was time to change that today and parked less than a metre from cache. I could see it before I had even gotten out of the car. Rehid so it is more in keeping with the hint and isn't quite so obvious.

It is strongly recommend that whilst we go for a walk for exercise, we need to take care on shared surfaces and geocaching should not be done at this time; https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/New+Zealand
To remove temptation, I am disabling this cache and ask kindly that you do not find this cache during lockdown.
Remember there is more than physically finding a cache, there are plenty of puzzle caches you can do at home. Or if you live near a multi you can walk the trail and save the find for another day. For more info or connect with wider community see Geocaching New Zealand on Facebook.

Full log to come. Me thinks the last finder was counting from the base as I found the cache in an elevated position in contrary to the hint. Returned as found.
Found today out in the open. Think I put it back where it should be. Had previously looked for this cache and thought it missing but definitely was not missing today.
Thanks Natalie 247 for the cache

Aha, there it is! Nice hide, clever in its simplicity. Thank you for the cache.

....not a good start to the day...
tried a few options which were obviously incorrect.!
tried a few options which were obviously incorrect.!
My work done, I was in the pleasant positon of having around four hours downtime before I needed to be back at the airport to collect CXL150.
This was a close cache and being a Sunday, today seemed to be a very good time to visit.
Initially foxed by someone's trash I took a closer look around before spying a highly likely alternative. Yep, it had stickers on; you're the one for me!.
Thanks Natalie247

Should have added new log with bag in container. Also added couple geocache stickers to container so hopefully you'll know for sure found right one.
Went to check on cache and all good. Original log too... so for those who have not signed afraid you'll be getting a message from me as you got fooled by someone's rubbish or a fake throw down.
Nah, couldn't make heads nor toes of this one. Probably because the tail was missing.
Found this one on a bike ride. The container was on the ground out in the open. No log inside and I did not have a replacement on me. Placed back in location.
Great title. Could see the cache before even getting out of the car. Have replaced with a bit more cover
A quick 24 hours in Dunedin thanks to cheap flights, great opportunity to catch up with friends and find a few caches! TFTC!!
Haven't ventured out cacheing for a while. Cooler days make it a good excuse to come out. Thanks for the caches.
2nd attempt. First (two days ago) on a working day was busyish round here. Read some more logs afterwards and got a better idea. Driving past after having dropped Sister at airport and getting a couple more caches in Dunedin before heading to Oamaru. Nicely done. TFTC
Too busy to grab on Sat with the big meat sale across the road, so I came back today at a quieter time. Easy find, tftc!
#6073. Its my third trip to Dunedin in 2 weeks. Haven't been here for several years and suddenly the flood gates have opened as I have come down to do a series of workshops. Decided to stay on until Saturday afternoon to give me a chance to do some caches on Friday night and again on Saturday morning. After picking up a rental car at the airport I headed off to grab a few rural caches. Then it was time to head into the city to sort out my accommodation. It was night by time I got to this one. Had to use my headlamp as was not easy to spot in the dark. After 5 minutes of walking back and forth and trying to figure out what the hint meant, I finally bent my back a bit more and spied it low down. Hint then made perfect sense. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for hiding it here Natalie247.
A lone muggle was sitting in a car nearby in the dark when we turned up, had to be extra stealthy as to not attract his attention although he looked far dodgier than we did lol. TFTC
All makes sense in the end although the find took way longer than it should have. I blame it on the eclipse!!! TFTC # 12,474
A return visit for me. Still took longer than it should have. At least I got rid of the sad blue face.
We had just got back to the vehicle and were weighing up our options when a car load of muggles pulled up and got out and started yarning! -talk about good timing.
Thanks

A great afternoon caching in the Dunedin area, about 32 caches for the day a few good up and down walks and a bit of bush bashing and a lot of fun had. Many Thanks Bitsprayer.
Was found just lying on the ground. We put it back were we thought it was ment to go.
Encouraged by the new year and the COs check of the cache I had another try. Like others the GPS seemed to be referring us to the middle of the road or from one side to the other. My original thoughts about the hint were correct but I tend to count in reverse to the CO sending me off the hint. TFTC
co-ords kept putting me in the roadway. We just could not get our heads around this one. A good one to come back another day .
Checked on this one after a couple of DNFs and can confirm cache is in original location and it along with log in good condition.
Eclipsed by time pressure to get to the airport after 15min without locating! Thanks
Last one for today. Had a nice bike ride. Slightly tricky getting from green island to here on a bike.
A quick find with Unicornfuzz. I didn't even need to use the GPS to find it. A quick sign and back into the warm car and off home. TFTC
